Chapter 36.
When Olivia got up, she headed for the shower to start her day refreshed. When she was finished, she turned off the water and grabbed her towel. She then walked into the kitchen and was pleasantly surprised by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
She smiled as she saw Sonny had set the table for breakfast. There was a vase of freshly cut flowers in the middle of the table, along with plates and silverware set out for thee. Olivia sat down and enjoyed a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast and bacon with Noah and Sonny.
"Mom, do I gotta need to talk to somebody about my problems?" Noah asked grumpily.
"It's okay to feel that way about therapy, Noah. Many people feel hesitant about opening up to a stranger. But remember, talking about your feelings can be helpful, especially to someone who is trained in dealing with them." Olivia responded.
He stood up and left the room without another word.

Noah sat in the psychiatrist's office, scanning the room and disregarding the adult before him. "I don't want to talk to you," he said bluntly, crossing his arms and sighing.
"That's okay." the psychiatrist replied. "Nobody can force you to talk if you don't want to, Noah. Yet, I'm here to help you feel better and talk about what's bothering you. Is there something that you might be okay with sharing that's been bothering you lately?"
Noah remained silent, but the psychiatrist continued to talk with him in a soft voice and explain that he could trust him.
"If you want to know how confused I feel about some things." Noah said, looking down at his feet and fidgeting with his hands.
"Why do you feel that way, Noah?" The psychiatrist asked.
"I feel like my life has been turned upside down after what happened to Mom and Uncle Sonny. And I am confused after all the changes that have happened." The boy looked at the psychiatrist and took a deep breath.
"What do you mean with all the changes?" the psychiatrist asked.
"Mom got pregnant. At first everyone thought it was one baby, but at the last ultrasound the doctor found out she was pregnant with twins. At first I was upset and angry because I only wanted one sibling.
"That's understandable, Noah. It sounds like it was difficult for you to deal with." the psychiatrist said.
"Actually, I'm happy to know that there will be two babies. It is an opportunity for me to pass on my knowledge and teach them valuable lessons." he said with a grin on his face.
"Noah, what did you mean when you said after all the changed between your Mom and uncle Sonny?" the psychiatrist asked.
"Aunt Amanda and Uncle Sonny broke up. They're not a thing anymore. It looks like my Mom and Sonny might be an item now."
"And now you are confused and worried about what this means for you," the psychiatrist continued.
Noah nodded. "Yeah, I mean, what do I call Uncle Sonny now?"
After a pause to consider Noah's question, the psychiatrist said, "It can be quite difficult when people in our lives change roles. But what really matters isn't what you call them, but how they show love and have your back. If you're not sure how to address someone, it doesn't hurt to ask them."
Noah listened to the psychiatrist's advice, and nodded in understanding.

Olivia was concerned about the recent behavior of her son, Noah, who seemed to be dealing with a lot of emotional turmoil. Olivia sat with Sonny and could see the worry etched on his face.
As the session ended and Noah walked out of the psychiatrist's office, Olivia could sense that Noah was feeling a little better. She knew that Noah needed more than just a session with the psychiatrist; he needed someone to support him through this difficult time.

Olivia had taken the day off from work for Noah's therapy session. She and Sonny decided to surprise Noah with a surprise ultrasound appointment to see the babies. As they watched the monitor during the ultrasound, Olivia and Sonny were thrilled to see their twins together on the screen.
The ultrasound technician zoomed in on the babies. Noah his breath hitched as he gazed in awe at the screen, watching two tiny forms wriggle and squirm. As the ultrasound technician pointed out each of their developing features, he couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of love for his two little unborn siblings.
