Chapter 41.

Sitting at her office desk, Olivia had her full attention on the computer screen. She tapped out a few more lines of text and then suddenly a gentle knock broke the silence. Amanda swiftly made her way into the room, closing the door behind her. "Oh, hey Amanda!" Olivia said, looking up from her computer.

"Hello Liv, how are you doing?" she inquired warmly. Amanda settled into the chair conveniently positioned beside Olivia's desk.

Olivia confessed, "I'm fine. I feel so big and my feet hurt. In addition, the temperature is a little too warm for me."
Amanda smiled knowingly and asked, "Oh, do you know the sex of your twins yet?" Olivia shook her head and replied, "Not yet. We preferred to keep it a surprise, what's the reason for your curiosity?"

"I was just filled with curiosity," she replied with a innocent smile.

Olivia looked at Amanda with a mix of curiosity "You plan something, dont you?"

Amanda grinned mischievously before standing up and left the room without saying anything. Confused by Amanda's sudden departure, Olivia furrowed her brow and wondered what her friend had up her sleeve.

A short time later, Sonny appeared in her office doorway, a hint of excitement in his eyes. "Liv, I just found the perfect place for us to move in together!" Olivia looked up from her work, curious to hear more. "Tell me more about it," she said, wondering what Sonny had found.
Sonny pulled out his phone and showed Olivia pictures of a spacious, modern apartment in a desirable neighborhood.

"It's big enough for all of us. It also has a bathtub, a nice built-in kitchen, and a balcony with a stunning view," Sonny said enthusiastically. As Olivia and Sonny scrolled through the pictures, it became clear that the apartment was part of an exclusive neighborhood.

"Sonny, I think you can call them and schedule a viewing appointment for us." Sonny had a broad smile on his face as he quickly dialed the number to set up a time to see the apartment.

Olivia and Sonny did not believe their eyes as they walked into their flat. To their surprise, their living room was transformed into a magical wonderland, complete with colorful balloons, streamers, and a beautifully decorated baby shower banner. Their friends and family had come together to throw them a surprise baby shower for their soon-to-arrive bundles of joy. There were decorations everywhere, and a beautiful cake with two baby booties on top. There were presents for the twins.

Noah was sitting next to Amanda, their friend, who had organized the entire event. "Happy Surprise!"

Amanda exclaimed, beaming with excitement. Olivia and Sonny were overwhelmed with gratitude as they looked around the room, taking in every thoughtful detail.

Olivia looked at Amanda, "Is that why you asked me about the gender of the twins?" Amanda smiled and nodded, excitement filling her eyes. "Since I did not know the gender of the twins, I wanted to plan a gender-neutral baby shower that would celebrate their individuality," Amanda explained.

"I know you had something on your mind." Olivia laughed as she hugged Amanda tightly.

"Well, what can I say, you know me best, Liv." Amanda hugged her back. "

"I've been secretly planning a surprise baby shower for you and Sonny!" Amanda revealed with a mischievous grin. "Well, I think it's time to celebrate that little bundle of joy you have on the way!" Amanda exclaimed. Olivia and Sonny looked at each other in surprise, their eyes filled with tears.

"Liv and Sonny, you should see this gift." Fin called with a big smile "Seems like Munch has send the twins a big present" Olivia went to the present and looked it over – it was a twin rocking horse with a chair. With a message from him, "I am sorry that I am not there, but I hope this will be useful for the little ones when they are older". It was a nice surprise from him. His thoughtfulness made the baby shower extra special.
