Reyna stared at the drink in front of her. The red liquor that she added was slowly floating to the top, mixing in with the brandy. What the hell was she supposed to add next? And how much of it? Reyna sighed and looked back down at the recipe she had written down.

"You okay?" Piper asked. She was standing next to Reyna and making two drinks at once. Piper made it look so easy. She didn't even have to look at the bottles as she grabbed them or measure out some of the liquids.

"I'm fine," Reyna muttered as she pressed her fist into the counter.

"Are you sure?" Piper pressed.

"I told you I can handle it," Reyna snapped angrily. "I don't need your help with my personal problems."

"I meant with the drink," Piper clarified bluntly. Reyna hung her head and remained silent. This was her third attempt at making the drink. She just couldn't focus. Reyna hadn't slept since Circe came back into her life, and the sleep that she got the night before was minimum.

Especially after the visit from Circe.

It took all of Reyna's willpower to keep from flashing back to the night before. Bile climbed into the back of her throat. She swallowed painfully and looked away. Piper just silently watched her.

"Yeah. Sorry," Reyna muttered. Piper looked at the drink and started to show Reyna how to make it. Piper glanced at her.

"Reyna, what happened?" Piper asked in a quiet voice. Reyna tensed and didn't say a word. "I don't have to be touching you to feel your emotions rolling off you in waves."

"I just can't sleep," Reyna dismissed.

"I think it's more than that," Piper challenged. She finished mixing the drink. "Reyna, I know you're freaked out."

"You don't know anything," Reyna snapped as she looked at Piper. "Just leave it the fuck alone, Piper."

"No," Piper refused. Reyna stepped closer and clenched her fist. While Piper flinched, she didn't take a step back. Reyna forced her fists to loosen and tried to keep herself from tensing. She reluctantly stepped back.

"I'm sorry, Piper. I just..."

Reyna didn't care if they were in the middle of a bar. She sat down against the bar counter and stared ahead. Piper knelt in front of her and watched her in concern. After a few moments, Piper spoke, "Did she...?"

"Last night," Reyna answered as she looked. "Fuck. I pulled my gun, but fuck. She just got into my head, and I lowered it. Fuck!"

"We can go to the police," Piper began. "Or the hunters. Someone can help us."

"Piper, she already promised that she would hurt all of you!" Reyna retorted with a panicked look. She met Piper's eyes. "You don't get it, Piper. Circe named all of you off. She knows who you are, and she threatened to hurt you. To kill you. I cannot let my friends be hurt because of me."

"We're not going to let you handle this alone," Piper tried to soothe. Reyna rested her head back against the counter.

"I don't know how else to say this, Piper; Circe isn't like Ma Gasket or Lycaon. They are nothing compared to her. Circe will go through on her word. She will kill all of you in horrible ways, and it will be my fault! Police can't stop her. The hunters won't."

"No woman is that powerful."

"A monster is!" Reyna proclaimed. "I-"

"Fuck it," Piper said as she stood. She stormed from around the bar counter, brushing past a confused looking Annabeth. Reyna quickly stood and watched Piper storm to the back. Why would she...

Fuck!

"Reyna?" Annabeth asked. Reyna pushed past the human and stepped into the hallway. A swear left Reyna as she saw Piper was walking to Clarisse's office. Reyna sped up her pace until she was almost jogging. She nearly crashed into Piper as the Succubus reached Clarisse's office.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Reyna demanded. Piper whipped her head to glare at her.

"You need help!" Piper answered. Reyna blocked her way into the office.

"I don't need shit!" Reyna insisted threateningly. "You're going to get everyone killed."

"You're going to get yourself killed!" Piper retorted impatiently as she raised her voice. "I know you are petrified of Circe. You think she can hurt you no matter what, but she is one person! Just one! It doesn't matter what gang or allies she has. She won't be able to hurt all of us."

"I am not taking that chance," Reyna hissed back. "She already came to my place a...and-"

"Made you do something that you didn't want to," Piper guessed. Reyna averted her gaze. She heard the door behind her open.

"What the hell are you two going on about?" Clarisse demanded.

"Nothing," Reyna answered quickly.

"The woman who marked Reyna is here," Piper replied just as quickly. Reyna stared at Piper. The Succubus met her eyes before looking at Clarisse. Reyna felt her jaw drop as it clicked with her what Piper had said. "And last night, she ra-"

"Piper! Shut the fuck up!" Reyna snapped. "Y...you don't k...know w...what-"

A hand grabbed Reyna's shoulder and pulled her into the office. Clarisse grabbed Piper with her other hand and dragged her into the room as well. The door was closed, and Clarisse looked at them. She spoke, "What the hell do you mean the woman who marked Reyna is here?"

Reyna crossed her arms and looked down. Piper spoke, "At the charity event, this Succubus was there. She-"

"No," Clarisse interrupted. She pointed at Reyna. "Tell me."

Reyna stared at the woman and then looked back down again. She let out angry sigh, "Fine! That fucking bitch who ruined my life is friends with Chiron, and she was at the charity event. She knows I live here, and I stayed with Piper for a few days. It was super fucking helpful because Circe still confronted me last night."

"And yeah, Piper. She forced me to have sex with her! Is that what you want to hear?! She threatened to torture and kill all of you if I didn't fucking work out the rest of my fucking contract with her, and she wants me to let her have her fucking way with me! Are you fucking happy?!"

Reyna felt tears burning in her eyes. She let out shaky breaths and swallowed painfully. Shame, fear, and anger burned in her chest. Her head turned as she couldn't look the other in the eyes. Clarisse spoke, "Why didn't you tell me when this first happened?"

"Because you hate me," Reyna muttered as she looked down. A hand grabbed her shoulder, and she slowly looked up at Clarisse.

"I am your friend, Reyna. I am. I was pissed at you for what happened to Chris, but that bitch finding you again overrides everything. She isn't going to lay another hand on you."

"She's going to kill you!" Reyna protested. "Why don't any of you understand that?! How many times do I need to repeat it?!"

"I understand what you're saying, Reyna. Also, I hope that bitch tries me. She'll get a damn good lesson," Clarisse promised. She gripped Reyna's shoulder. "Breathe."

Reyna shook her head as she couldn't breathe. Tears filled her eyes, and she couldn't stop herself as she started crying. Clarisse pulled her into a hug, and Reyna felt herself collapse into Clarisse's arms. Bitter cries left her as she clung to the older woman.

"It's okay," Clarisse whispered in her ear. "We're here for you, Reyna. We are. I promise."

"I don't want anyone to be hurt because of me," Reyna cried.

"I know," Clarisse said softly. She rubbed Reyna's back. "I know. And no one will be. Just trust your friends."

Reyna didn't respond as she clung to Clarisse. Every other breath was hitched, and she felt shame burning in her core. How had this all happened? Why didn't she just shoot Circe? Fuck. Why did she settle here?

"Does Hylla know?" Clarisse whispered. Reyna managed to shake her head. "We'll call her. I'll let Chiron know as well. We have to navigate this carefully, but I promise you, Reyna. She is never going to lay another hand on you again."
