1984 Years After the Wall

Argos 'the Warrior Reincarnate' Sevenstar, son of the original Artos Sevenstar to attack Westeros from Dorne to the North, chose to commence with the attack on Westeros as the rise of the Valyrian Freehold began to cause more problems for the Andals of Andalos.

Prince Eddard 'the Strange Wolf' and King Brandon 'the Bloody Wolf', would be working in tandem at times to deal with the increasing number of raids off the eastern coastline of the North.

The Northern Military Armed Forces were having a blast showcasing their lethality in the art of war, fighting on land and out at sea.

Having only experienced simulations of warfare through the Rooms of Requirement, the last time Northern Military Armed Forces saw a large battle was against the Andals decades earlier.

They travelled across Westeros to beat back the Andals, while showcasing the effectiveness of the Armed Forces to not just their own citizens of the North but the rest of the continent.

Currently though, they were expressing all the pent-up hatred for the death of their past King, making sure the pious Andals knew their Gods weren't coming to save them or grant them powers in the battle to survive and return home.

They were joined by the Merfolks of the Magical Corps to raid the ships out at sea, attacking out of the blue, surprising the Andals by the utter ferocity and speed displayed by their forces during their attacks by the evolved over the last two millennia, the Merfolk evolved ever since the arrival of the native Mermaids and Mermen of this world in the waters surrounding Skagos.

Since that day only a century after the reign of Bran the Builder, Merfolk and many other magical species had evolved, strengthening from the abundance of pure magical energy in the environment.

In the case of the present Merfolk, they were stronger out at in the waters, capable of even making landfall if ever required, however for the sake of the Northern Realms they became its silent deadly protector from the depths of the sea.

The naval soldiers fighting beside them, on the other hand, moved like they had lived at sea from birth and effortlessly dispatched the foes before seizing the ships to take home for dismantling, sale, or simply to be utilised elsewhere.

Argos struggled to understand how the North were this strong and capable, all the while trying to survive the onslaught brought on by the North, which included magical attacks upon his forces.

The moment a magical attack was seen, Faithful Knights of the Seven, and Faith Militant rushed to kill the individual, pushing their way through the battling hoards, only to end up beaten or killed by Northern Forces, none of whom were pleased to see invaders upon their homeland.

The Dwarves, Goblins, Gnomes, Centaurs, and Wolffolk were especially vicious in dealing with the Andals, as the invaders would seek out the end of their magical lineages due to their religious belief, so no Andal Warlord was allowed the sweet mercy of death on the battlefield.

Instead, they were all captured, much to Argos horror as he saw friends and family being caught or outright slaughtered on the bloody fields of Oldcastle, as even the Giants got involved in the battle and destroyed the Andal ships from a distance with gigantic crossbows specifically made for their height and size.

With little else left but to escape unless he wished to die a horrible death, Argos abandoned the battle, trying to escape while taking down Northern soldiers that put the Lockstep Legion of Old Ghis to shame.

Not knowing when, Argos found himself in a fierce fight to the death against the feared Prince Eddard the Strange Wolf.

The young man wasn't more than thirteen name days, but his great height, muscular bodyframe and artistry for all manner of weapons had spread far and wide.

Tales of Prince Eddard the Strange Wolf fighting in the Colosseum of Valyria and the Fighting Pits of Meereen had spread far and wide, even drawing the notice of the current Emperor of the Golden Empire.

Argos had prayed to the Seven, especially the Stranger to not send forth his Champion in the campaign to crush the Northern barbarians, however the Strange Wolf stood valiantly by his brother's side and rushed into battle without a care of his Wintersguard.

Up until now, Argos made sure to stay far away from the monster capable of fending off veteran warriors and Knights with barely any effort in the swing of his blades.

The fact Prince Eddard the Strange Wolf could dual wield swords and fight effortlessly irked Argos more than he liked, but he could do nothing now in the face of the True Monster of the Northern Realms.

.

"Your end has come… heathen." Said the Strange Wolf, never once tearing his eyes away from Argos, who instead noticed the sudden change in the style of weapon.

With the swords away, Argos believed he had some sort of respite after seeing the spear in the Strange Wolf's hands.

Sadly, his relief wasn't for long as a moment later, curved blades on either end of the spear popped out from the body of the weapon, which was encased in a darkness that even the Shadow Lands couldn't possibly match.

"My Scythe shall test 'the Warrior Reincarnate'… another fool who believes himself 'worthy' to be blessed.

Fools.

Now come, Warlord Argos'the Warrior Reincarnate' Sevenstar, my Scythe hungers for your blood." His words weren't loud or screamed out at the top of his lunges, but carried naturally by the wind of the battle as they reached the ears of all those nearby to force most to stop their own battles.

They all looked on in fear and wonder at Prince Eddard the Strange Wolf and his opponent, Warlord Argos 'the Warrior Reincarnate' Sevenstar.

One at ease for what was to come, while the other stood petrified.

As the Strange Wolf took his first step forward, his magically crafted black cloak fluttering in the wind, while his deep grey eyes with a shade of emerald burst alive with power, Argos remained dead still, unmoving, yet instantly drawn to the bloody cries of his brethren.

Warlords to have accompanied him in the battle for the North rushed through the masses, soon arriving by the side of Argos, who began to feel much better about the odds all of a sudden, but again his relief vanished the instant he saw the delight in the eyes of the Strange Wolf, only for the next words to leave him sweating in the freezing cold.

"They are mine, and mine alone, brother."

"As you wish… they are yours to reap, besides the fool.

He is mine."

Growled King Brandon the Bloody Wolf, a strong yet fierce man who earlier fought off Knights and Warriors, now walked from out of the growing crowd and stood beside Eddard, as the Wintersguard began to surround the combatants from a distance, creating a makeshift arena for everyone to witness the battle, but ensure none got away.

The rest of the Northern Forces either subdued the remaining enemies or left them alone for now to watch the battle between the Strange Wolf and over a dozen Andal Warlords with Argos at the helm.

Both brothers walked forward, space evenly apart for one to freely wield his Scythe, while he grinned madly, swinging his greatsword effortlessly as it cut through the air.

Neither raced forward, but stalked their prey instead, sending cold shivers down the backs of the Warlords before the first screamed, "For the Seven!", leading to a chorus of shouts from the others, and even a couple from the crowd, but they became deathly silent as the first to strike Eddard, who'd step out from his brother and moved forward to lead the flow of the battle.

Stabbing forward with the Scythe, Eddard caught the two Warlords ahead of the rest, slicing away at their armour, catching the leather straps while cutting deep into the body.

They fell with no more of an effort than Eddard displayed in swinging the Scythe like it were weightless yet evenly balanced.

Flowing like a river, yet tempered as a steel blade, Eddard sharpened his gaze upon the next to fall from his favoured weapon.

The Strange Wolf brought a dead silence to the battle, countering the sword strikes with the shaft of the Scythe, only to untwist it to slip it in half a wield dual Scythes.

Ducking a slice at his midriff, Eddard glided momentarily on his knees, slicing through the fat mass of the thighs to bring down the latest duo of false conquerors.

Leaving them on the brink of deaths embrace but never close to falling over the edge of no return, the victims of the Strange Wolf quietly cried in pain, suffering through the agony of the meticulous deep slices of the Scythe.

While the youngest of the Starks fought on against his own horde of Warlords, Brandon the Bloody Wolf instead locked his gaze with Argos, drawing the man to a battle of the blades, with neither slowing down for the other as their swords sung through the clash of iron and steel.

Sadly, for Argos, his forged iron, blessed by the Smith, lacked the strength and durability to continue further as the sharpened edge of Ice, the ancestral Fallen Star metal greatsword enhanced through runes and a Blood Crystal, chipped away at the blade, eventually causing it to snap, leading to the greatsword slicing deep into Argos' shoulder.

As the Andal Warlord collapsed to his knees, tired and screaming out in pain, Brandon the Bloody Wolf, covered in the blood of his foe, dragged Argos towards the other fallen Warlords, and many others dragged into the centre by Wintersguard and Northern Army.

They were joined shortly by Children of the Forest, each carrying a sapling of the Ygg-Atkaye- Weirwood tree, while the Green Rangers part of the battle began to move forward and assist the Children in their task.

Bound by the roots sprouted from the ground by Dryads and Druids part of the group of Children, who stepped forward, reciting a prayer in the True Tongue before sliced open Argo's gut with a Stygian Steel dagger.

As the blade made contact with the skin, it stemmed the bleeding to ensure none died, but elevated the suffering of the victims as their nerves were sent alight.

After planting the seedlings in their stomachs and having it healed shut, the Children began to write runes over the bodies of all the fallen Warlords from the sap of a crying Ygg-Heart-Atkaye Tree, as the dense liquid seared into the flesh of the Andals.

Screaming till their throats ran hoarse, the Warlords could only muffle out cries of pain at the method of execution, not once believing the short dwarf green monsters could grant them such a miserable and terrifying death.

None knew that their fates were far worse than death itself, as their souls were eternally bound to the source of the trees, leaving them to suffer the misery of being bound to the land, forever to watch the world turn by.

As the Ygg-Heart-Atkaye Trees became their tombs to the end of time, over thirty Warlords suffered alongside Argos, as their combined cries of suffering could be heard up until they were immortalised by the trees, with their faces of anguish eternalised.

King Brandon the Bloody Wolf, with Ice in hand, turned to his brother who stood nearby, and said with his voice amplified to reach all far and wide.

"Kneel, Ned…"

Not saying a word of protest or enquiry, Eddard the Strange Wolf bent the knee, somewhat prepared for this eventuality, but thought it wouldn't be for some time.

"I, King Brandon Stark, the Bloody Wolf, High King of the North, and the Isles, King of Winter, and High Magnar of Winterfell, commend you, dear brother, for your defiant Will that no blade in the has survived against, yet you held you hand today so these fucking invaders could suffer the wrath of the Old Gods!

Forever this land shall be marked as the land where the Andal cunts and their glorious 'Warrior Reincarnate' became enshrined to the Old Gods, fallen by the Strange Wolf.

For all you have done, and will continue to do, I grant you the name Darkstark, and grant your Scythe to your House as its ancestral weapon, since the Champion of the Stranger can't honestly be without his beloved Reaper of Souls."

"I, Magnar Eddard Stark, the Strange Wolf, swear myself to House Stark, with my Scythe forever yours to command, so shall those of my blood, forever loyal to the Kings of Winter."

King Brandon the Bloody Wolf eventually would hand over his younger brother a Keep of his own, along with land, but it wasn't where he had expected, or anyone else.

The current Arch Magus, an elected Witch named Helena of House Ravenclaw, named after the daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw, a legendary figure in the Terra Dimension but also this world, planted Obsidian Obelisks around the Northern Realms, increasing the land size under the control and management of House Stark.

Interwoven in the Draconic Wardstones laid in the ungraded Obsidian Obelisks, the Artifical Leylines set millennia ago, were not disturbed until they were ready to activate, but would merge with the Draconic Wardstones over time, stabilising increase in landmass.

The Coven of Seers, members drawn from Green Men, and Women, Children of the Forest, Gifted Witches, Dryads, Half-Veela and Nymphs, all spoke of a great change in Westeros that would see the Northern Realms a haven for many, but as large as it may be, it wouldn't forever be enough to 'feed' us all.

Ominous worlds saw Clan Heiðruind being called to help, as well as Arch Magus Helena Ravenclaw, who suggested the Obsidian Obelisks after noting their success in expanding Skagos.

They could accept plenty of refugees if it were necessary, but King Brandon didn't want to rely heavily on Skagos or House Potter, as he fostered at Camelot in his youth.

House Stark already owed them more than anyone could truly believe, having read through the journals of the previous Kings of Winter, all noting the power and wealth of House Potter as well as their vassals.

From it all came the fearsome and legendary Clan Heiðruind, who many consider were rogue and not under the rule of House Stark, yet the Formaðr would pay homage from time to time, appearing rarely though in the North, and prepared the lands in the Far East.

The region that was named Bear's Gift, overseen by High Magnars Mormont, were the first to see the planting of the Obsidian Obelisks, doubling the region before more were planted further southward.

They didn't go overboard with the planting and activation of the Obsidian Obelisks as they could be activated one at a time, a feature Arch Magus Helena Ravenclaw created herself.

This would help expand the Wolfswood and surrounding lands to increase the landmass of the North by half at the very least in the next few decades.

.

At roughly the same time, the Vale experiences its own battle to survive against an invasion as the Andal forces led by Warlord Artys Arryn, one of the greatest and purest Andal nobilities, behaved erratically and outright disgustingly to have his enemies grovel at his feet and accept his rule as King of the Vale, the Fingers, and the Mountains of the Moon, as well as Andals and First Men, well, whatever remained of them anyway.

Yet it wasn't long before Artys realised his foes were far from simple or easy to handle as they became rather fierce in their reply to the invading Andals by destroying their ships, stealing supplies, poisoning food, and water for the horses, leaving Artys forces rather ragged by the time they attacked the next Keep.

It was at this exact moment House Royce and Gryffin began their large-scale guerrilla warfare against the invading Andal forces, stumping Artys on how to fight against the 'savages', as they had their own cavalry, even if it wasn't one consisting solely of horses but beasts instead.

With little support from the Andal forces scattered across Westeros, each involved in their own battles, Artys knew it was near impossible to achieve a resounding victory and gain the complete allegiance of the Vale based off current circumstances.

Taking that into account, he thought about kickstarting his own guerrilla warfare against the enemies, but never would have guessed House Gryffin and Royce were hoping for such a course of events.

Equipped with flying Gryffins, King Boren and his Gryffin Riders as they had come to call themselves, swept down on the foes during their marches, dropping boulders, firing arrows, and causing outright chaos in the Andal ranks.

Artys order his men to fire on the sweeping Gryffins, nearly managing to bring down one beast and its rider but weren't exactly successful as the Bronze King Robar Royce charged atop his armoured spotted bear, while leading a small horde of First Men warriors.

The attack was short, sharp, and simple, yet it left Artys and his forces utterly crippled for a time, leading to the Andal Warlords to elect they regroup at one of the Keeps they had heavily secured.

It wasn't exactly how Artys had expected his invasion of Westeros would progress, however he didn't mind regrouping to discover the best means to destroy their foes, as they were taking more lives than the Andals expected.

A couple noble Houses of Andalos had already been wiped out completely by the sudden attacks led by either the Gryffin or Bronze King.

Both Kings were equipped with magical armour and weapons, as they had graduates of Hogwarts in their ranks, fabled Witches and Wizards the Faith of the Seven wanted to long crush.

They had heard of the fabled school and its legendary students, as they were widespread across Westeros, and even Essos, but to a lesser extent and typically in the employ of the Northern Trading Company.

Currently they were the downfall of Artys and his forces as they helped forge the alliance between the two Kings as the Chief Warlocks of their Houses were Hogwarts graduates and close friends who long ago understood the threat posed by the Andals to their way of life.

Most had already sent family to the North in case the war didn't work out in their favour, which included the two Kings as they sent their progeny to remain under the protection offered by House Stark.

So had already found land in the new Expanded Regions of the Northern Realms, taking up land that was rich and heavily imbued in magic.

This gave the Kings and their men the added knowledge that their lineages would survive no matter what, so none held back in their guerilla attacks, leaving the Andals terrified throughout the day and night.

It eventually led to the Andals taking up whatever lands they had captured and settling upon vacant Keeps, all of which led to infighting amongst themselves as the Warlords all wished to be Kings of the new lands.

Both Kings at this time increased their attacks upon the Andal forces as they had started to divide themselves throughout the Vale, however this was all a ploy organised by Artys in the hopes of drawing out all the First Men.

This would make taking over the whole Vale much easier for the Andal forces and settling the Faith of the Seven wouldn't be as difficult either.

Sadly, they couldn't remove the Ygg-Atkaye-Weirwood Trees, as they were protected against iron, and steel, only falling through magical means, which meant the Faith of the Seven had a harder time trying to remove the religion of the Old Gods from the Vale and rest of Westeros.

Artys wasn't overly focused on such matters as his entire goal for the campaign revolved around the complete elimination of the Old Gods, however it didn't seem as easy as they once thought.

.

Both sides would continue to battle for quite some time, with the First Men gaining ground against the Andal forces until they fought one great battle at the Giant's Lance.

King Robar Royce and King Boren Gryffin would eventually repel countless charges led by the forces under the banner of King Artys 'the Falcon Knight' Arryn, only faltering on the last charge that saw many First Men slaughtered.

The Andals didn't fare any better but were able to somewhat walk away victorious, yet plenty of time was given for the First Men to get away and regroup.

This is where both sides failed to gain complete victor over the other and ultimately led to the Andals gaining the ruling share of power over the Vale as the forces of the First Men split between the two Kings, with one choosing to leave for the North, while the other wanted to remain behind.

King Robar Royce believed he could defeat the Andals and remove their taint from the land, however King Boren Gryffin realised it wouldn't be possible as news had reached him of other Kingdoms throughout Westeros falling to the might of the Andals.

This all sadly led to House Royce kneeling before King Artys Arryn when he finally gathered his forces and began to lay siege to Runestone, only to find it near impossible to break into due to the magical runes and wards.

Worst yet, they had decades worth of supplies and magical means to bring more goods, including people to their Keep without anyone being the wiser, which led to a peace treaty between the First Men of the Vale that remained behind and King Artys.

House Royce would become the Lord to all First Men and their Houses, swearing fealty to House Arryn, but it required the removal of the Ygg-Atkaye-Weirwood Trees from lands outside of Keeps.

This wasn't accepted at all, causing further issues to sprout between the two sides until an agreement was forged that allowed the First Men culture to survive in the Vale, but it'd be closely watched by the Faith of the Seven.

Lord Robar Royce, as he was now called, had sent away his crown and armour of Bronze Kings to the North along with the Gryffin King to help his second son settle in the Northern Realms and continue their lineage if they were ever to be routed from their ancestral seat in the Vale.

House Royce of the Northern Realms, and House Gryffin would eventually become each other's strongest allies, forever supporting their brethren in the Vale to continually hound the forces of House Arryn for thousands of years, never once allowing their rule to be peaceful or prosperous.

.

House Gardener, the descendants of the Last High King of First Men below the Neck, Garth the Greenhand, had eventually risen to rule without opposition over the fertile lands of the Reach Kingdom, giving them access to more fighting men than any other Kingdom besides the North.

Hell, they were even able to secure the fealty of House Hightower, a notorious House of the Reach that wasn't willing to give up their crown as they saw themselves as the only rivals to compete against House Stark.

Yet even they had to accept the rulership of House Gardener, and served in the courts of Reach Kings, such as King Garth 'the Goldenhand' Gardener, a great King of the Kingdom to have ascended to the Oakenseat at the age of twelve.

Ruling through war and peace, King Garth ruled for close to eighty-one years, leading a campaign against the Ironborn when they chose to take over the Shield Islands.

The war rose Garth's legend for repelling the barbarians, while also managing a war against King Fowler of Dorne.

Never once had Garth ever needed to worry about internal conflicts as his people were able to express their anger against the Storm Kings, and the Rock, which helped secure the borders of the three Great Kingdoms.

After that, peace filled the lands of the Reach Kingdom for close to three quarters of a century, allowing King Garth to help develop his Kingdom and people to grow stronger.

Titled the Golden Reign, all accepted King Garth the Goldenhand was one of the best, if not the greatest ruler of the Reach, as he reforged broken bonds with the North as well that had grown increasingly worse over the course of a millennia due to Garth the Greenhand living out his final years in the North.

Even his crown was stored in the Hall of Antiques, much to the annoyance and anger of House Gardener for a long time yet King Garth the Goldenhand understood it had to be secured safely in the North as it would only lead to chaos in the Reach.

.

All the good relations Garth the Goldenhand forged with the North, would all be broken apart by the Three Sage Kings, or more commonly known in the Northern Realms as the Three Cowardly Kings, would allow the Andals to fester into the Reach and assimilation their culture into the Great Kingdom within just a mere three generations.

Easily, they would trump any other Great Kingdom in how fast they were able to assimilate to the Andal culture, once more raising hostilities with the North, who wanted nothing more than to teach House Gardener a lessen they wouldn't forget for abandoning the Old Gods.

Furthermore, that hate would rise as news of Andal attacks on Children of the Forest enclaves became more widespread and known by all, eventually causing White Eyes to begin assassinating the Houses responsible for the genocide.

House Strong during this time would swear fealty to House Blackwood of Raventree Hall, but only after strengthening their borders as Andal attacks became more common in their lands.

Thankfully the Children of the Forest enclaves who help as a parting gift and protect the border of House Strong as they came to their rescue against Andal forces led by traitorous First Men.

House Gardener tried to secure the featly of their cousins bore of Brandon the Bloody Blade, but quickly realised House Strong wouldn't accept the Andal culture when their ancestor fought First Men who slaughtered Giants and Children of the Forest in their Great Kingdom over a thousand years ago.

As such, House Strong broke away their piece of the Reach and began to support House Blackwood in their rule over the Riverlands, helping it expand below the Northern Riverlands and incorporating the lands of many petty Kings.

House Stark sent plenty of aid to House Strong, their true blood cousins, as Winter Legions joined the Green Men and Women sent from Asgard, including the Rangers in the Reach Kingdom, to secure their borders and lands from the Faith of the Seven who were hell bent on cutting away the Ygg-Atkaye-Weirwood Trees.

Many were saved from the slaughter in Oldtown, extracted through magical means such as Emergency Portkeys to leave the volatile lands and appear elsewhere in the Great Kingdom of the Reach, before making their way to House Strong for protection.

Sadly, far too many succumbed to the savagery of the Andals, further raising the hate House Strong had for House Gardener, who were once a close friend and ally due to their supposed bond through Garth the Greenhand.

.

In the lands of the Storm Kings, House Durrandon ensured they ruled over the Stormlands, even when there were treasonous Houses rising up every so often, however it meant the Storm Kings were able to expand their Kingdom to include parts of the Riverlands.

King Durran 'the Just' in his reign had brought the Isle of Tarth and Estermont into his rule as vassals, allowing House Durrandon to change their royal title to Magnar of the Storm, and King of the Stormlands.

King Durran 'the Might; expanded upon the lands controlled by his House, seizing the lands up to Blackwater Rush, taking over Maidenpool and Duskendale.

His great, great, great, grandson, King Qoren 'the Bloody' began his conquest of the Riverlands but wasn't successful in having House Blackwood or Mudd kneel before his might, however it wouldn't stop House Durrandon from changing their title once more to include the King of the Rivers.

This only infuriated Houses Blackwood, Mudd, and the other Houses allied to the North, which included a number of magical lineages from Avalon to have created cadet branches in the region.

House Peverell of the Riverlands were one such House, having become guardians of the Isle of Faces, with their Keep built upon the lands nearby Raventree Hall but by the border of the God's Eye.

In another Verse, it could rise and fall as the lands of the Great Keep of Harrenhal, yet here it would become home to Godrics Hill, the settlement managed by House Peverell, heavily tied to Riverland Houses tied to the Northern Realms, as it allowed them all to grow stronger and wealthier than other nobility in the region.

Yet the actions of King Qoren 'the Bloody' Durrandon led Magnar Ignatius Peverell fight a bloody battle against the magical forces of the Storm King trying to take over the lands in the shadows.

This eventually rose House Peverell of the God's Eye to revered status amongst the Riverland Houses, especially House Blackwood, as they worried the magically gifted in service of House Durrandon, as they behaved no better than a ravaging storm.

During the Andal Invasion, King Edric 'the Faithsbane' Durrandon fought valiantly against the incoming Andal forces, only to be defeated by the Holy Brotherhood of the Seven, all of whom were led by over fifty Warlords, each leading thousands of their own men but later would be altered to say it were only Seven Warlords, as appointed by the Seven to charge against the Storm King.

In truth, King Edric and his Green Rangers experienced a harsh battle to combat the invading forces, never once faltering until news of his younger brother, Maron, marrying an Andal bride of an Andal House faithful to the Seven, caused more damage to King Edric's reign than he expected.

People began to leave for their homes as Andals began to raid Keeps and left none alive expect for the women and children who were treated like cattle for the men to enjoy.

Such acts only further infuriated King Edric who went on a warpath throughout his Kingdom for close to a year, brutalising the Andal forces until they all raced to Storms End and pleaded with their King Maron to fight against the barbarian.

With fresh troops from the Andal Lords, King Maron met his brother in the battlefield, along with his bannermen who had left the side of his elder brother at the prospects given by the Andals.

Sadly, none of that could prepare them for the wrath of the Green Rangers and King Edric, with all of them choosing to leave their foes in a miserable state, even if it meant ruthless acts of war.

House Stark, or more importantly, Wise King Brandon the Bloody Wolf, heard all about the struggles of his old friend King Edric and sent his heir to provide aid to the true King of the Stormlands, while White Eyes and Night began seizing First Men folk from the lands loyal to the Old Gods and bringing them all up North.

They all came with their magical artifacts, leaving nothing behind for the Andals to make use of or try to exploit as the magical force employed by House Durrandon saw their numbers dwindle through surprise attacks in the battlefield.

However, upon the arrival of Crown Prince Thenar in the Stormlands, news reached him of King Maron's cowardly act in slaying his own kin during a moment of parley, which also saw the poisoned deaths of countless Green Men and Women after they had partaken in Guest Rights.

In his rage and after speaking with his grief-stricken father who mourned for his friend through a private Communication Mirror, Crown Prince Thenar was told to save the body of King Edric and safely extract his remaining family from the Stormlands.

Gathering what remained of the Green Rangers, Men and Women from the Stormlands, including the Children of the Forest enclaves, Druids, Dryads, Nymphs, Giants, and the aid of the White Night and Eyes gave Crown Prince Thenar 'the Warmage' the best opportunity to leave behind a bloody path through the lands of the Storm, giving no quarter to his foes.

All Andal Lords captured were given the Blood Eagle and left out to hang throughout the Stormlands, with the Magical Corps in Thenar's service ensuring they wouldn't be removed or spoil for years to come.

The sole daughter and son of King Edric were saved, along with his wife, who were kept alive and well by loyal First Men Houses to the Last True Storm King of the Storms, Hill, and Southern Rivers.

Thenar still didn't believe this was enough and decided to lead a surprise attack on King Maron and his forces as they tried to lead an attack upon several First Men Houses rebelling his rule.

All would eventually give up their ancestral Keeps and leave for the North with Crown Prince Thenar, but not before taking way the magically crafted Warhammer, Godsgrief, wielded by all Kings of the Storms since the first, as the gift was sent by House Stark once House Potter came under the Throne of Winter.

It was won in battle from King Maron who came face to face with Crown Prince Thenar the Warmage Wolf, leaving the battered Storm King to pick up the pieces to his battered ego and body.

Halls of Artifacts in Winterfell would carry Godsgrief and the runic crown of House Durrandon, along with their runic armour, taken from the body of King Edric.

This forever caused a slight to House Durrandon of the Stormlands after they became faithful to the Seven.

In the North however, Wise King Brandon the Bloody Wolf would arrange a marriage between his son Thenar and the daughter of his friend King Edric, named Arya, giving House Stark legitimacy over the Stormlands far greater than the blood of King Maron.

On top of that, King Edric's son would be granted his own title as Magnar of House Durrandon, given lands to watch over as well as the First Men Houses to have escaped their ancestral homeland for the North.

Once King Edric was buried in the Great Crypt of Winterfell at the behest of King Brandon the Bloody Wolf, Crown Prince Thenar through White Night would begin to spread the news of King Maron being a Kinslayer, and one that allowed for the brutalisation of women and children in his lands.

This stain would forever mark the blood of King Maron's descendants, only ever being removed by the voice of House Stark declaring it so.

.

House Casterly underwent their own tribunal at this time, as the growing forces of Andal Warlords in the Westerlands led the Golden Amber Lions to lose honourable and faithful warriors.

King Tyrian at the time would send his sons and brothers to combat against the growing number of Andals in their lands, while sending his youngest away to the North after news reached him through a Green Ranger that most of the Westerlands had fallen.

Once more in his reign would King Tyrian curse his ancestors for never maintaining the strength to continue their iron rule over the Westerlands as they were now struggling to gather the numbers to fight against the large Andal Forces sweeping through the Great Kingdom.

So, sending away his family to the only safe haven left behind in the world, the Northern Realms, was the only choice.

House Reyne and Tarbeck sent their own family members to accompany House Casterly, with all three First Men Houses, and many others from the region sending their children to the North.

All of this wouldn't have been possible if House Stark hadn't advised the First Men below the Neck of the brutality imposed by the Andal forces, and how their lineages would be long wiped out in the invasion war.

As such, King Tyrian was only left behind with his daughter in the Keep of Casterly Rock, only to find Tytos Star leading a large army of Andal forces to their gate.

By this point King Tyrian knew his sons, brothers, and cousins sent to fight against the invading forces were dead or captured for ransom.

The proud and rather arrogant Tytos Star decided to challenge King Tyrian, saying he would let the man continue his rule if he could defeat him in singles combat.

It was known by all that King Tyrian had sustained an injury that made it impossible for him to spar since his youth, but King Tyrian couldn't care less about this throne, and instead asked for the safety of his daughter no matter what.

Yet before King Tyrian could step forward and accept the duel, a young man with deep golden hair that had tuffs of amber, surprising Tyrian, and his daughter as the man proclaimed himself the first Green Knight of the Old Gods and Westerlands, sworn enemy to the Andals of the Seven.

Challenging Tytos for the hand of King Tyrian's daughter and the right to rule over the Westerland, the young Green Knight would go on to fight in honour of House Casterly, eventually slaying Tytos Star with his Stygian Steel blade tinted gold and amber to match his hair colour.

Roaring above all others, as the light of the sun brightened the might of the blade, the Green Knight slayed Tytos and became the next King of the Westerlands, as the Andal Warlords decided to kneel before the man to have taken down the brutal Knight of the Seven.

The Green Knight, known too few as Podrick Lann, would go on to become the King of the Rock, and the first to lead the newly established House of Lannister, taking over House Casterly, which reformed in the North.

As time would pass, the legend of Podrick Lann would be altered by Andals married into House Lannister until he was known as nothing more than Lann the Clever, a man capable of fooling House Casterly to give up their ancestral home to the young ambitious man of First Men origin, only to find their claims disputed by the Northern Realms a very specific House.

.

The Riverlands, much of which was under the rule of House Durrandon, began to lose power in the region, as House Mudd of Oldstones and House Blackwood of Raventree Hall would rise in power, with support from the North, to begin seizing land.

Eventually it would put the two Houses at odds with one another, as a side would claim their linage from the Great House of Howlett, long considered extinct after they left Westeros in their ships for the unknown lands of the Sunset Sea, while the other would claim their right as the blood of the Raven Kings from the North, a House still alive and well in the North, known as powerful magic wielders and powerful Skinchangers, along with Wargs.

House Stark would be called to mediate the conflict between the two sides, eventually leading to an oathbound agreement with House Blackwood becoming the Kings of the Riverlands with House Mudd of Oldstone and House Strong becoming their lealest vassals.

It was agreed that House Blackwood had fought for their claim over the Riverlands since the days of Bran the Builder, even rebuilding the Keep of House Howlett as a Riverport that would lead into a great canal project for the region over the course of decades and a generation.

With House Stark and Strong both supporting House Blackwood's claim, along with House Peverell of the God's Eye, House Mudd would agree in the end to become their vassal, however this would push House Bracken to lay their claim on the Trident naming themselves Kings of the Trident.

Soon this would lead to war between the two sides, with neither trumping over the other, however it ensured the Andal Warlords were unable to enter the chaotic battlefield of the Riverlands and stake their own claim.

Yet this would lead to the rise of another contender, one by the last name Teague, claiming his lineage from House Justman, an Andal House to have claimed a small part of land between that loosely under the control of House Durrandon and the competing Kings of the Riverlands.

.

The three main powerhouses of Dorne were the Daynes, Martells, and Yronwoods, while House Stepstark continued to build their strength in the Stepstones, as the three Houses of Dorne worked in the shadows to prepare for the incoming forces of the Andals.

Sadly, all their preparation wasn't enough to combat the huge number of Andals landing in Sandship, taking over the Port city and even kidnapped King Qylen the Third from House Martell, all in the hopes to have the smallfolk kneel before the invading force.

It failed as the heir of House Martell had already escaped with his mother and sisters to the Stepstones, leaving behind the King to face his own half-brother, Morgan Martell, a son born from the loins of the former King of House Martell during his travels in Essos.

Morgan never once travelled to Dorne to meet with his family, but instead joined the Andals, believing they would help him gain his birthright, yet after meeting his half-brother, King Qylen of House Martell, Morgan couldn't help but feel disgusted by his own actions so far.

Unfortunately, he couldn't save his brother from the eager Warlords who brutally murdered the King of House Martell, leaving Morgan to inherit the title.

His first act saw the utter brutalisation of the Andal Warlords for harming his kin, after which he sent a messenger to the Stepstones in an effort to meet with his nieces and nephews, all of whom decried him as a monster and the reason for their father's death.

The only one to even give him a chance was the wife of his half-brother, though she only communicated through letters and messengers, never once meeting Morgan in the mainlands of Dorne.

However, she would help him get in touch with the allies of House Yronwood and Dayne, advising the two of the war to come from the Andals.

Both were grateful, even if they cursed Morgan publicly for the death of the former King of House Martell.

House Martell, under Morgan's rule, would 'ally' with House Durrandon to lead a campaign of cultural assimilation throughout the lands of House Yronwood, completing the deed close to a decade later, but only a few would know that it was all a mummer's farce.

They would then try the same with House Dayne, however they were even less happy than the Yronwood about the Andal's being in their lands, as they housed hundreds if not thousands of Green Rangers, Men, Women, Druids, Dryads, Nymphs, and Children of the Forest.

This all caused a small war between the forces of House Martell, Yronwood, and Andals, against House Dayne and the remaining First Men Houses of Dorne, all of whom were heavily supported by House Stark, Clan Heiðruind, and the Northern Trading Fleet.

It would take over two decades for the Andal forces to finally give up and accept the peace terms and conditions given by House Dayne, all of which were sworn through magical oaths before a Ygg-Heart-Atkaye Tree, much to the annoyance of the Andals.

The peace terms specifically stated by House Dayne would cause the end of the Andal Invasion, with most of Westeros in the hands of the invading force, however pockets of rebellions throughout the Great Kingdoms of Westeros would continue to fight back against the Andals, never once giving up their faith in the Old Gods.

The same could be said for the smallfolks, most of whom chose to leave for the North, but a large number stayed back and even started to work for the intelligence agencies of House Stark or their many businesses through Westeros.

This would eventually lead to House Potter and her vassals to begin introducing Gaming Houses through Westeros and Essos as a means to not just help support smallfolk with wages, but to gain more information about their foes and potential enemies so another invasion of Westeros didn't occur without the people being made well aware in advance.

.

From the first days of their invasion upon the lands of Westeros, Andals would continually try to cut down the Ygg-Atkaye-Weirwood and Ygg-Heart-Atkaye Trees, however none were successful unless they utilised the weapons made of Stygian Steel.

With the lack of weapons in the grasp of such quality steel that it had magical properties, the Andals would try to seize as many of the weapons possible to understand the forging process to improve their forged iron, but also increase the number of tools to help remove the trees.

They wouldn't have a whole lot of luck, as the Children and their allies could travel freely through the roots spread across Westeros to lead the silent war against the pious Andals of the Seven.

Warding entire regions from Andals so they wouldn't be able to harm the Ygg-Atkaye-Weirwood trees often did the trick, but they removed them from other regions entirely, leaving a few to hide in the deep shrubbery of forests, available for use much later down the road.

This would largely stop further attacks on the Holy Trees of the Old Gods, but not entirely as the Faith of the Seven would work tirelessly to remove the importance of the trees from their lands of the Seven.

1999 Years After the Wall

Thenar the Warmage Wolf, now King of the North, led his Kingdom to prosper under his rule as an effective, and honest High King, establishing trade deals with Houses Dayne, Yronwood, Royce, Stepstark, and even House Lannister to an extent, but largely due to Podrick Lann, a former Green Men and Ranger.

He'd been given his freedom from the oaths of Green Men and Rangers once his Mentor was slaid in the battle for Oldtown, which would eventually lead to the well-known enmity between House Lannister and Hightower that would last for thousands of years.

New technological improvements brought forth from the University of Winterfell, Hogwarts, and Alexandria, along with the Bastion of Knowledge even meant the season of winter wouldn't be as hard of a challenge to survive going forth as engineers and smiths discovered how to create Steam Generators.

Taking inspiration from the Steam Engines of the Northern Naval Fleet ships, the students were able to create a non-magical means to help heat up homes throughout the North and even give them light, stopping their dependence on candles or lanterns indoors.

This new development came to the North during King Thenar's youth, as his father King Brandon the Bloody Wolf saw its value and ordered to have it installed in each town, village, and city, with dedicated industries to handle the wood and coal requirement.

Thenar in his reign had asked the Magicals to create their own version of the Steam Generators, much like they had with the Steam Engines for the naval ships, ensuring there wasn't a large reliance on smiths to handle the wear and tear of components.

During one peaceful morning, King Thenar overlooked the project proposed to his office as King to create a newspaper for the people of the North to understand the changes throughout their lands, as well as foreign Kingdoms.

The use of magical means to transport the paper, such as Ravens, Eagles, Owls, and Falcons, would help ease costs delivering the newspapers in a timely manner, leading King Thenar to seriously consider the proposal.

His own issues with the proposal was asking the White Eyes and White Night to supply news from around the known world to the newspaper, helping increase its validity and value, however the idea of promoting health issues, weather patterns and similar fillers would do well to rise a healthy lifestyle amongst the masses.

While thinking of his decision to proceed or not, King Thenar would be made aware of several Houses, all spanning from the Westerlands, Vale, Reach, and Stormlands coming to Winterfell to seek an audience with the King.

They had made port on both sides of the Northern Realms coastline and travelled up to the North aboard the plentiful houseboats on offer.

They were all met in the Throne Room of Winterfell, bringing forth an interesting proposal King Thenar had come to hear quite often from Houses from below the Neck throughout his reign.

.

In the past, a Fifth Son of House Stone, an old ancient Northern House, had served the Bolton's in the hopes to gain control over his ancestral seat, yet left the North after the end of the Bolton line, as they became House Bold from the blood of a daughter widow with children from the blood of House Hornwood.

They weren't against returning to the North over the millennia, however life in the Vale serving House Gryffin, and later House Royce for a time, gave them plenty of power and wealth to become one of the strongest Houses in the Kingdom of the Vale.

Sadly, the arrival of House Arryn caused them to start strengthening their borders unlike ever in the past, causing House Stone to support both Kings of the Vale in the war.

Yet that wasn't enough in the end as the Gryffin King left the Vale, and the Bronze King knelt to House Arryn, allowing House Arryn to curb the power of the remaining Houses of First Men blood.

Even though they were to serve as vassals of House Royce, the former Bronze King Rogar was far from wealthy or strong enough to help the other Houses now pressured by the Andal Houses.

Quite annoyed by the actions of the Andals against First Men, King Thenar immediately called for one of his stewards to start organising support for the First Men Houses of the Vale, even increasing trade with House Royce, leaving the visiting nobility present to gawk at the actions of King Stark with his immediate declaration of support.

Yet only House Stone could understand as they were formerly of the North and were not one to squabble about with their words but were straight to the point if you were honest and true to the heart.

"Your Grace, as someone who considers himself as much of a Northerner as I am a Valemen, I must thank you for the support you have decided to give our brethren in the Value.

I have brought many with me to the North in the hopes of starting a new life here, with all prepared and willing to swear fealty to the Kings of Winter, yet it is good to hear their will be aid for those who have remained behind.

But I must warn you, Your Grace…

The Andals and the Faith of the Seven are planning to conquer Westeros, and stem out the Old Gods in our lands, which they have already started to do with the deaths of the Children of the Forest, and burnings of Weirwood trees.

However, it seems the Old Gods have somehow interfered in the fires as the trees stand tall, with only a few noted to be taken down.

Yet this hasn't deterred House Arryn from planning to raid the Three Sisters and claim them for the Vale.

They also hoped to kill off the large number of Children, Druids, Dryads, and Nymphs in the lands of House Whitetree, believing that is the true home of the magical species in the North."

King Thenar raged momentarily that his own magical strength began to seep out into the Throne Room, making it difficult to breathe as the air became rather heavy and icy cold.

Thankfully it passed rather quickly as Thenar regained partial control over his erratic emotions before he let slip, "THOSE FUCKING BASTARDS WILL PAY!

THEY WILL PAY FOR HARMING THE CHILDREN OF THE OLD GODS, AND THEIR WILL UPON OUR LANDS!

NO ONE FUCKS WITH THE OLD GODS AND THE NORTHERN REALMS!"

"AYE!" replied the nobility meeting the King, all of whom were pleased yet terrified by the man they had come to swear themselves to.

King Thenar would go on to award lineage formed from the Fifth Son of House Stone to take over a Keep, one of many currently under the management of House Stone.

The Seat was near their familial home, though it rested closer to the borders of the lands between Giantsbane of Banefort, formerly known as Dreadfort, and the Northern Mountains.

Thenar instructed the man that they would be called Giantstone from now on, taking the name from Giant's Lance of the Vale, which was accepted and noted to inform House Stone of the North regarding the return of blood.

.

In the case of House Goldenwood, a First Men House of the Stormlands, they once oversaw the largest orchid in the region and provided greatly for the smallfolk in their own lands, including others less fortunate.

Sadly, their growing wealth had caused many to cripple their fertile lands and have them poisoned over generations, leaving them with a handful of saplings from their once great orchid and famous Goldenwood tree that was known for its toughness and durability comparable to gold itself.

However, this only turned them into a martial House, known for training fierce warriors and testing their strength against mercenary companies in Essos for a long time, but came to find their growing skill began to worry King Maron after the previous Magnar served King Edric as his Sworn Blade.

After the death of King Edric and the actions of King Thenar as Crown Prince, King Maron let out his frustrations on the First Men Houses loyal to his brother, as most had lost their fighting forces during the civil war, leaving them defenceless.

Most if not, all had joined House Goldenwood in leaving the Stormlands, bringing along their smallfolk, with only a handful of First Men Houses left behind, all of whom were loyal to King Maron, but weren't happy with a kinslayer leading the Stormlands.

They had sent family members in case King Maron saw to their deaths at some point, but they knew their main task was protecting the remaining smallfolk of First Men blood native to the Stormlands as they were beginning to come into conflict with the invading Andals more often with each day.

"All those you have brought with you shall now serve as your vassals.

The smallfolk shall integrate into our Northern settlements that you will find throughout the North, but for now they will serve in your own lands.

You will plant the saplings brought from your homeland with the help of our Druids, Dryads, Nymphs, and the Children of the Forest, as they call on their brethren to help manage the fertile lands under your control."

They were given lands towards Sea Dragon Point, but towards the Wolfswood where a Keep was built centuries earlier during the creation of the Northern River Canal Network.

The lands were incredibly fertile after Garth the Greenhand taught the Druids, Dryads, Children, and Nymphs to magical influence the land, so it became fairly fertile, and served the North quite well for over millennia.

Now in the hands of House Goldenwood, the responsibility moved from House Stark to their hands, which utterly left the new High Magnar of House Goldenwood stumped momentarily before he gathered his wits to reply.

"Thank you, Your Grace.

Myself, and all of my descendants shall serve the Northern Realms and House Stark without fault, forever trusting your will, as you have entrusted us with such a responsibility."

With House Goldenwood settled, King Thenar moved onto Magnar Thaddeus of House Manderly, a House of the Reach, and one loyal to the Gardner Kings as Knights of the Order of the Green Hand.

Magnar Thaddeus began to explain to everyone present how his House was exiled by King Merle 'the' Meek' Gardener after giving the man his title, calling him 'meek' in his court after ordering his vassals to give up the Old Gods by slaying the Ygg-Heart-Atkaye Tree.

Thaddeus refused to do so with his Stygian Steel blade bought from House Stark over a thousand years ago, which were also ordered to be handed over to Andal craftsmen to understand and better the Forged Iron.

All of this infuriated Magnar Thaddeus so much he openly declared Merle, the Meek King, causing Merle to do the only thing he thought wise, and decided to exile House Manderly, telling them to leave behind their fleet.

Thaddeus instead returned home, gathered his family, wealth, loyal people, all First Men smallfolk, and the knowledge brought over by the Andals which included the forging process for the iron and fertiliser, before leaving aboard the ships of his naval fleet and left their ancestral seat.

"I shall have you settle on my lands, Magnar Thaddeus, but I have a few conditions that must be met before we go any further.

If there are children or loyal men and servants in your care that pray to the Seven, then they must convert to the Old Gods.

That is non-negotiable.

Your children will be educated in the ways of the Old Gods and the Northern Realms, while attending our schooling system that they must take part in.

To rule in the Northern Realms, you will have to accept our Scholars, and Professionals to serve in your court and provide their expertise to help your smallfolk and progress forward in the development of your Keep and settlement.

In regards to the forging of Iron and fertiliser, the North has plenty of both, if not better.

We have long known the secret to forging iron, but long preferred the Celestial Bronze, Fallen Star metal and Stygian Steel blades as they offer far greater magical focus and capabilities to our people.

In saying that, I will ask that you seek out a marriage for your children into one of the stronger magical Houses of the Northern Realms, as it will help your House assimilate to the Northern culture faster.

I will not ask you to create the Knightly Order of the Green Hand here in the North as it would go against our ways in the Northern Realms, but I have some ideas to help revive the Order as High Magnar Garth the Greenhand would have accepted.

For now, I shall award you the seat of the Eastern Gate Castle of the Wolf's Canal, currently managed by House Makerstark, who shall be your High Magnar.

I will send word of your appointment as well; however, I would advise you stop by Wolf's Fort of Rivia first and swear your oaths of fealty." Thenar thought about handing over land around the Wolf's Den to House Manderly but thought against it as the Eastern castle of the Wolf's Canal had yet to find someone worthy of calling it their seat of power.

Having already been made aware of House Manderly by White Night spymaster Fleki, King Thenar went with the best option that brought better security to the Northern Realms and increased their strength at sea.

They already had one of the largest navies in the world, however, to keep up with the trade in the Essos, and protect their borders from the Andals required more ships than anyone could have ever expected.

Even then there were always more tasks to complete, which now included the supply of various goods to the surviving First Men Houses left throughout Westeros that at least continued to fight against the growing Andal numbers.

"I shall accept all the conditions you have stated, Your Grace.

All I wish to add… is that I believe my twins have the gift of magic present in them if anything is to go by the Green Men and Rangers in my care.

In all honesty, Your Grace, I called Merle 'Meek' as it were… *Sigh* mostly due to his order to gather those gifted with magical talents… so they could serve the Faith in some manner, but something tells me it won't be for anyone's benefit… or that of the Northern Realms."

A little surprised, Thenar decided instantly, "I shall have the children tested later today after they have all rested.

Regarding this order by King Merle… I must thank you for the information as it will help the Kingdom prepare or even deal with the actions of the Faith… whatever they may be.

Until then, one of my stewards will lead your family to the Guest Keep.

Organise your men and servants, as the transport to Rivia will occur by train, saving you and your people much stress and pain."

Thaddeus long ago heard of the large carriages that blew out colossal foams of cloud into the air as they carried men and women, along with cargo at speeds greater than a horse, and without ever having to stop and rest.

To know he would get the experience none besides Northern Realm citizens and honoured guests could enjoy left the muscular and bearded man rather happy and joyous to experience the height of Northern craftsmanship so far.

Thenar on the other hand called for another steward to send a message to the High Magnar of Skagos to make his way immediately to Winterfell for a meeting in his Solarium, otherwise to call in an hour if busy and unable to make it personally.

.

Last of all were House Romyn, a First Men House born during the era of House Casterly at the Rock, born from the fourth son of House Casterly who wanted nothing more than to forge his own path in life.

Presently though, House Romyn had found themselves struggling against the rise of House Lannister which began to prosper under the rule of Podrick Lannister, who ruled over Andal and First Men alike.

However, his children were beginning to be influenced by the Faith of the Seven and weren't highly receptive of First Men Houses left to associate with in the Westerlands.

This wasn't ideal whatsoever in the Kingdom of the Westerlands, as the sons of Podrick Lannister were beginning to gain loyal men of their own who wanted nothing more than to remove the Champion of the First Men.

House Romyn, in trying to use their wealth and strength, saved many First Men Houses from extinction by sending their battle hardened and trained warriors of the Old Gods to keep the Andal forces at bay, but it became harder and harder with each passing day.

It all recently worsened after King Podrick left with his only daughter, all of his lealest supporters, Children of the Forest enclaves nearby, and the First Men smallfolk in the lands of House Lannister.

His crown and famous Stygian Steel blade weren't left behind for his eldest son to inherit, but rather a different blade, one forged by the Children, Druids, Podrick, and a Grandmaster Smith of the Dwarves from the North, which his eldest son wore right away at his waist and underwent a baptism in the Light of the Seven as soon as possible.

After renaming himself Tytos, taking the name straight from the Knight to have lost to his father in singles combat during a duel, the eldest son would begrudgingly accept the new name after the Septon of the Faith spoke of the heresy to have a First Men name while baptised under the Light of the Seven.

The name would cause majority of the First Men smallfolk to curse the eldest son of Podrick Lannister, as Tytos Star was not the name of the fabled Knight of the Andals who was slayed by Lann the Clever, a notorious First Men trickster from the lands of House Hightower.

In truth, they remembered Tytos Star as the barbarian savage that pillaged and raped his way through the Westerlands, only to fall to the noble Podrick Lannister, the former Green Ranger, turned Green Knight, only to rise up as a King to help stem the bleeding of the First Men Houses down below the Neck in the South.

Regardless of that, the eldest son of Podrick forever lost his true First Men name, and took on Tytos, becoming King of the Rock, Tytos Lannister.

This left House Romyn with little option but to leave as King Tytos began to send hundreds of priests into their lands to convert the smallfolk, or outright incite riots through murmurs that then meant First Men could be outright slaughter.

Thenar was furious at the actions of the Lannister ilk born from the heart of a saint, a man he had in fact met after the former Green Ranger made his way up North and requested the safety of the Northern Realms for his people.

At the time, King Thenar had seen many leave the lands of the south and travel far up north, yet in front of him wasn't the King of the Great Kingdom of the Westerlands, but a Green Knight as it were, hell bent on saving as many people from the savage Andals.

His daughter was the only thing that remained of his wife that wasn't spoiled by Andal culture and pressure of social norms, which gave him the strength to escape from the Westerlands and make it up North.

They had already found themselves a home, granted lands in the Stony Shore, swearing fealty to House Fisher of the Stony Shores, who chose the mountainous lands towards Wolfwoods with the Twin Lakes.

Lannstark had been formed, a surprise to many but one accepted by all after they met Podrick and saw that he possessed the true pure heart of a lion, and one that served the Old Gods.

He would be accepted as councillor in time to King Thenar and develop the art of Negotiation, Persuasion, Political Intrigue, Diplomacy, and Ambassadorial Responsibilities to leave behind a strong legend of his own to be remembered as a Hero of the Ages.

He'd even meet with Magnar Thaddeus to discuss the Order of the Green Hand, though the discussion between the two, including High Magnar Makerstark would leave to another Order forming in the Grand Halls of Asgard.

Thenar married his youngest son Duncan Stark to the gorgeous daughter of Podrick Lannister, Cerria, never once doubted by the bond held between the two as they were drawn to one another upon their first meeting in Winterfell.

The choice to secure the marriage between the two wasn't a difficult one, as it secured another cadet branch that was oathbound to House Stark and rose the power and wealth of the Stark Household overall.

More wealth than ever before was saved up in the enormous vaults of the Forever Winter Vaults, as countless reports from the Accountants and Accounts Manager of House Stark spoke of the mountains of wealth and items stored away, never being utilised.

Withdrawing a portion, King Thenar gifted it to House Lannstark, or as they would be known one day as the Amber Wolfen-Lions of the Northern Realms.

They were currently in the process of surveying their lands to best understand how to make use of their gifted wealth, which Duncan saw more as a loan than a gift, a sentiment expressed by his wife as well, so the pair was rather diligent in setting up their new House to serve for the benefit of the North.

"I shall let you settle in the North, along with all those you have brought from the Westerlands to serve as your vassals and bannermen, however you will swear your oath of fealty to Makerstark as well and take up the castle on the Western entrance to the Wolf's Canal.

You will leave with House Manderly for Rivia tomorrow.

Besides that, I shall have your children educated as all else are in the Northern Realms and have them inspected for magical talents.

Like I advised House Manderly, it would be wise to marry into the more magically talented Houses of the Northern Realms to hasten your assimilation into the North."

"I shall accept all you have given and asked of me, your Grace." With that said, Magnar Romyn left the Throne Room.

.

..

During his rule for the next couple of years would revolve around bringing the Northern Realms to a higher standard than the Andals, as their barbaric nature to assault women, and keep them grounded, was the furthest example of how the North treated their women.

A thorough examination went into how the women of the North felt and where improvements could be made to their standing in Northern society, which King Thenar left his wife in charge of.

She found while women had a greater standing in Northern society than any other place in the known world, it heavily revolved around the Spearwives culture.

High Queen Arya, having been raised around the Spearwives culture of the North after arriving in the North from the Stormlands as a small child, long had thoughts of ways to improve the cultural importance of women to not simply revolve around the Spearwives.

This led to Queen Arya called on powerful noble women of the Northern Realms to give their own advice on the matter, which eventually led to a tax exception for women who were willing to start a business of their own.

Magnara Flint of Flints Finger proposed the idea, and it held some substance, though Magnara Dagworth, Granger, Malfoy, Abbott, Longbottom, Potter, and Greengrass, had more than enough ideas to leave the rest of the invited court utterly stunned.

They first proposed the introduction of certain practises from around the world, taking inspiration from the Hyrkroon Warrior Maids for their fierce martial prowess and fighting culture, along with a freeing nudity lifestyle.

It wasn't for all to enjoy or express, as even those to have made a new life in the Northern Realms after settling here by following Magnar Benjen the Traveller Whitestark.

They weren't so freeing in regards to their body because of the weather, however that just increased the intensity of their martial training.

Basic Magical Sentience's educated in all manners of martial forms from the Terra Dimension and those developed in this world had improved the fighting culture of the warrior maids, creating a new order for Northerners to accept into their ranks and culture.

Stuff like the ruby stones in the cheeks of the Warrior Maids was long go in the North, as it was considered unsavoury by the Northerners, but as Shield Maidens, they wore Vambraces with Blood Crystals, granting them shields, forces of power, or a last means to escape even through death if it were.

Similarly, to the Warrior Maids from Patrimony of Hyrkoon, the Daughters of the Sarnori Kingdom were riders of War Chariots, cleaving through their enemies and firing arrows without respite until the last one standing.

The Magnaras of Skagos continued to make further suggestions and even called on Magnara Jing of House Azura to speak of the warrior culture through the Golden Empire, their past homeland from the times of Benjen the Traveller.

Magnara Azura spoke of the hand-to-hand combat skills, and weapon artforms practised even now by her family as they didn't want to leave behind such practises behind as they were effective to create sharp and powerful warriors.

All that was said by the Magnaras of Skagos and the others eventually caused Queen Arya to burst out in hysterical laughter as she commented on the eagerness of the Skagossi Magnara, all of whom were evidently bothered by the status of women in general but realised they couldn't do a whole lot beyond their own lands to improve their state of life.

Queen Arya began to sympathise with the Skaggosi Magnara, as it was known they had the most progressive society in all of the known world, and even in the Northern Realms, something that had shocked Arya during her first visit to the Land of the Old Gods.

Soon, Queen Arya would form a council dedicated to the social aspects of the Northern Realms society and improving the general way of life for most.

.

King Thenar would instead hasten the development of the stronger steel made through significantly more magical means than previous used to create the Stygian Steel.

The Grandmasters would be successful in producing a steel blade shaded icy blue, a unique reaction from the forging process that could be altered to change the colour of the tint.

It was lightweight and as tough as Stygian Steel, though not as flexible as Ikranä Steel though it could hold more enchantments that either and be wielded as a magical focus even after all a number of runes were added to the blade to make it deadlier.

They even found by incorporating a Blood Crystal into the handle of the sword or weapon could allow the user to activate the runes to set the blade on Fire for example or dispel Ice and Frost while attacking or defensively, depending on the situation.

In the forging process, the Damascus folding of the steel was included, and further improved by incorporating runes just before the fold was enacted, something taken from forging Ikranä Steel.

It would be named Winter Steel aptly by King Thenar, before ordering the construction of a new greatsword for Stark Kings to wield.

They already had a version of the Celestial Bronze sword of House Stark called Ice made out of Fallen Star metal, while the Stygian Steel version was rather well known by all as it often saw more battle.

The milky ice blue steel of the Fallen Star metal greatsword was powerful and outright deadlier through all of the magical enhancements, yet it was too wasteful to wear around all day compared to the Stygian Steel version.

Thenar had it currently wielded by a Wintersguard of House Stark named the Sword of Winter, winning the right through a grand tournament held in Winterfell a couple years back, while the Stygian Steel version ended up in the Hall of Artifacts.

King Thenar wanted to hand it over to his son, Crown Prince Theon, but as his son had a Stygian Steel greatsword already, so besides handed it over to one of his other sons, which wasn't a bad idea, but pointless.

Each of them already had all they would ever need to establish their own Houses and let their weapons become ancestral figures to pass from generation to generation.

In the end it was shelved in the Halls of Artifacts, and the Great Forges of Winterfell, Gauntlgrym, and Skagos were tasked to forge Winter Steel weapons for all the Northern Houses of the Realm.

Only the High Magnars would gain the honour for now to wield Winter Steel weapons, most choosing Longswords, but a few choosing Dual Axes, Greatswords, Spears, and Bastard swords.

The Northern Military Armed Forces were also readily alert for sudden attacks from Essos and around Westeros, as a portion of the naval fleet and its ground troops were sent to the Stepstones to protect the region from pirates and any wishful Andal thinking they could claim the islands.

House Martell wasn't raising any issues over it just yet, and King Thenar believed it had to do with the heir of House Stepstark marrying the daughter of the last King of House Martell before his half-brother took over and began his reign.

King Qylen's son and heir had established a House Martell of the Stepstones, and started to rise up in power, but sered House Stepstark diligently.

To stem any possible issues the Kingdom could face down the road in the Stepstones and help out the Stepstark's watch the new branch family of House Martell, King Thenar sent the White Night, White Eyes, and the Kingsmen to infiltrate the Great Kingdom of Westeros below the Neck.

They were also tasked to investigate the status of the magically gifted in the lands down, with any peril news to immediately be forwarded to the Arch Magus.

2005 Years After the Wall

King Tytos Lannister cursed his father, the Northern Realms, and the Old Gods after receiving an invitation to the annual Northern Games held on Skagos, but more importantly, the 'supposed' Land of the Old Gods.

Based off the reports he received from councillors and a Maester born of the Westerlands, the Northern Realms could easily match the power of two entire Great Kingdoms with ease, and that was their current state.

In the next century, it was believed they would grow even stronger, and possibly match up to four Kingdoms in strength, causing Tytos to strategize how to stop his neighbours from rising in power.

Tytos recognised it wouldn't be possible without calling on the other Great Houses of Westeros to aid in the great war.

He knew King Artys Arryn was aging, but more than sharp and strong enough to lead a campaign against the North, having tested his strength and strategic prowess through countless battles.

King Maron Durrandon would like nothing more than to gain revenge on the North for besmirching his name, yet Tytos thought it was for the best, since he thought the Stormlands were just as uncivilised as the Northerners in their brass behaviour.

House Gardener, he thought, had something to prove as descendants of High King Garth the Greenhand, left the Reach and moved up North, where it was believed he had gifted the North with their own fertile lands, equal if not double than that of the Reach.

King Merle would no doubt want to show the might of the Andal forces his Kingdom had begun to so fervently support and 'guide' into their lands.

Tytos couldn't honestly help but laugh at the absurdity of House Gardener giving up their history so easily in favour of the invading army.

Hell, House Hightower's action of peace talks, and the building of the Sept led Tytos to ensure his future progeny and descendants wouldn't do anything foolish enough to help create a septin their lands for the religiously fanatical.

He'd used their following to be accepted into the growing number of Andals in his land, however Tytos knew better than his father to anger the barbarians, and instead stripped away their power with intrigue, political manipulation and cunning.

As such he led them with a firm hand, taking on the name of their 'fabled' Knight, who was nothing more than a monster in the flesh of man.

Either way, Tytos knew for a fact the Reach would fully support his invasion of the North, however the trouble remained to convince Dorne and the Riverlands.

House Dayne had kept to their First Men roots, defying the Andal forces and the combined might of House Yronwood and Martell.

Tytos didn't believe they would lead an attack on the North, but he decided to add them into the possible Great Alliance expect for the Daynes and their vassals.

Riverlands on the other hand were trouble, and something he wasn't sure of how to deal with.

House Blackwood ruled as Raven Kings of the Rivers yet fought a bloody war against the Bracken Kings of the Trident.

Brackens had refused so far to accept the Faith of the Seven, so they couldn't be drawn to their side, however Tytos was more than willing to try.

There was another rising power going by the name of Teague, but they were far from anything fierce to be considered a serious foe for the First Men to consider, but something that could work in their favour instead.

Beyond that, Tytos had one more play after seeing the invitation to the Northern Games, drawing a cruel smile from the Golden Lion of Casterly Rock, before he begun penning his letters to the supposed members of the Great Alliance.
