The tiger walked across the marble floor to his princess. He watched earlier in the day the princess have another breakdown during lunch. He remembered vividly glass shattering and her storming out of the room.

Walking up the stairs he picked up on a familiar cry. It bounced off the walls and echoed through the hall. Rajah followed the sound until he made it to the princess door. Quietly he pushed open the unlocked door and walked in. The room was dark from the drapes being shut, but using his night vision he was able to catch sight of a figure on the bed. The figure stopped crying and looked up. Lit by the light in the hall Jasmine looked at the tiger. She let out a disappointed moan and then laid back down.

The tiger let out a soft chuff and walked over to the princess. He pushed his face into her hand that was over the bed. Inside his heart broke when she didn't do anything back. Rajah let out a soft moan in response and pushed his muzzle further into her hand. He longed once more for her to play with him. Neither Abu or Iago ever bothered to play with him. Even when they did it wasn't the same as Jasmine. Rajah looked over at Jasmine. He could tell she was on the brink of sleep.

His heart broke when he recalled the past weeks. Recently she'd been dragged around constantly either to appointments or political stuff. Rarely was she ever given a break. Right now was the one chance she was getting one. Rajah's attention was brought to the door opening. Inside stepped her father.

"Rajah please move," he whispered as she made his way to Jasmine.

Jasmine moaned and dug her head more into the comfy bedding.

"Princess we can't have you running away from meals every time things don't go your way,"

Jasmine whined and cried, "But you guys don't understand what I'm going through," she whispered.

"How?"

Jasmine looked at him stunned.

"How?! Maybe it's as if you know I hate eating in front of people or trying new foods. And yet you guys continue to force both those things on me against my will. Maybe that's why!"

"Jasmine!"

"What!"

"Stop and think before you speak. We are trying our very best to provide everything for you. Do you have any idea just how hard we all have pushed as a family,"

"What do you mean?"

"I have put everything aside for you. Do you want to know how much of my free time I put aside to get your business work done? All of it! I have no time to hang out with my own family and friends you know. And Aladdin doesn't either. He's constantly running around again taking care of your work. He's had to learn to forge your own signature just so we can still keep these trade arrangements,"

"You're not helping," was the only thing she could manage.

"Like you have! What have you done recently to justify you sleeping in bed and running away from us," The Sultan blurted.

Jasmine looked at him speechless.

"Have you listened to anything I've said in my therapy sessions! You can't say that I've done nothing because you have no idea just how much stress I was under before all this happened! You say you've given up all your free time?! I did the exact same thing but on a whole other level. I was the one signing all your guys paperwork, I was the one arranging all those trade agreements, I was the one who did literally everything around here. Watering the garden, teaching, sultan stuff everything! On five hours of sleep too. And I never complained,"

The two sat in silence for a moment.

Finally her father spoke, "You choose to do that dearest. If you were struggling you should have told us,"

"How can you say that I choose to do that? It's princess duty. It's the thing that us princesses have to do to provide for the kingdom. Besides, it doesn't matter anymore,"

"I'm sorry, what?"

"As a princess you're supposed to do whatever you can to provide for your kingdom, family, and people. It doesn't matter what you're going through. You have to be strong and hide whatever's bothering you. Right?"

Her father looked at her. Guilt flooded his eyes, "Well I mean-"

"That's what we do right? As a princess, future queen."

"I mean yeah but-"

"So why are you complaining? I did it because I love you guys, I love my people. I like to see you happy. Even though I was suffering I still did it. Anytime someone asked me to do something I did it. And I never complained. I was silently suffering and nobody ever cared," Jasmine was now struggling to speak. Her throat burned for her to stop speaking but she refused, "So yeah I did choose to do this. I did dig my own grave, you could say. But you can't dare to say that I did nothing,"

"I'm sorry dearest. I had no idea you were going through that. But… you did hide it really well," he admitted.

"I was just too scared to share my feelings… I didn't feel like my problems were that big of a deal compared to your problems," she mumbled.

"What problems?" Her father asked.

Now her father was sitting on the edge of her bed. Rajah watched from the floor as Jasmine crawled into her fathers arms. For a moment the two sat.

"I guess I just thought that because Aladdin's new and isn't that well knowledgeable into running a kingdom… I thought that his problems in ruling were more important than my mental issues. Because I know politics and ruling stuff cause I've taken classes since I was little," she cried. She paused for a second to catch her breath, "And- and you're getting old and you're close to retiring. So I just want you to have the best last years and I wanted you to just relax,"

"Oh Jasmine…"

"I'm sorry I'm the worst!" she cried.

Rajah sat up and then pushed his muzzle into Jasmine's lap.

"Hey bud. I'm sorry I haven't played much with you," she apologized, stroking the tiger's fur.

Rajah chuffed in response.

"I'm sorry father. It's all my fault. I should have told you guys," she mumbled.

"It's not your fault dearest. We all struggled with things and it's best if you have a family to fall on. You didn't and we took your handwork for granted," he reassured her.

"But- but it's still all my fault," she whimpered, "I deserve to be in pain… I had so many opportunities to tell you guys and yet I didn't. I deserve everything. The- the hospital visits, the tubes, needles, and you guys de- deserve to yell at me. I deserve everything!" she cried.

Now she was crying into her hands. Rajah and her father could only look as she continued to belittle herself further.

"Jasmine dearest It's fine. You're not to blame for any of this. You're right about the fact that us yelling at you wasn't right,"

"No- no I deserve-"

"No you don't! We shouldn't have gotten angry at you,"

"You have every right to. I couldn't imagine how much patience it takes being with me,"

Her father took a deep breath in, "it does take a lot of patience. But being with you is better than not having you,"

"I don't believe that," she mumbled.

"Why not?"

"I just don't. I'm so difficult to be with. Anytime someone doesn't go my way I throw an absolute fit," she admitted.

"Well you do-"

"See! I'm just so difficult to be around! I don't even get how you guys still love me after what I've done to you. Running away, throwing fits, uh- uh draining our vaults for my medical bills,"

"Jasmine, don't worry about the money. It's fine,"

"NO it's not! We're have to raise taxes to pay them off and- and-"

"Jasmine, please don't worry about that. You have more things to worry about-"

"I CAN'T HELP IT!"

"Jasmine stop screaming,"

"NO!"

Jasmine pulled away from her father and cried.

"Jasmine please,"

"I don't want to! I'm so tired,"

"Calm down-"

"NO!"

Her father breathed in deeply. No matter how much either Rajah or him tried Jasmine was inconsolable. Anytime they would help her she would only back away and scream. It was clear to both that one of her episodes had been triggered. Something that happens daily now. Without further word her father quietly exited the room. After letting Rajah out he shut the door and turned around. HIs heart skipped a beat for a moment.

"Oh- oh uh hey there Aladdin," he said, shocked.

"Sorry to scare you. I heard screaming," Aladdin told the man.

"She's just having some problems. We talked about stress and other stuff,"

"Stress about being a princess? Like before we discovered she had an eating disorder,"

Her father gave a slight nod.

"Yeah… I heard it this morning as well,"

"Really?"

"Yeah. I think she forgets stuff easily. So we're just gonna keep hearing the same thing over again,"

Their attention was brought to a muffled voice coming from the other side of the door.

"Aladdin," the voice quivered.

Aladdin pushed open the door and peeked inside.

"Jasmine, what's going on?" he asked worriedly.

"I just want you," she cried.

Jasmine crumbled herself in Aladdin's arm when he came over and then began to cry again. Eventually Jasmine calmed down enough to where she wasn't crying anymore.

"I just want you to hold and love me forever," she whispered.

"I do. Love you. But you know I can't be with you 24/7,"

Jasmine nodded slightly, "I know… I just want for everything to be over. I'm tired of the stress and of just being tired. I wish I could wake up and not feel like I've pulled another all nighter. And I wish people knew how stressful it is being a princess and upcoming ruler. I can't handle it all alone and always being in a good mood," Jasmine looked away for a second, "I tried that once and well… you've seen how bad it ended,"

"I understand. Us royals don't always have the picture perfect life everyone thinks,"

Jasmine giggled a bit, "Yeah, oh and Aladdin,"

"Yeah,"

"I'm sorry if I keep portraying your life isn't hard as well. And fathers, and my friends. I know it's not just me who suffers. It's just that at times it feels like I'm the only one who's suffering and it's only for the kingdoms sake,"

Aladdin gave a slight smile and then kissed her on the forehead.

"I forgive you Jas. You're right it has been a hard push lately,"

"I know… and again I'm sorry I haven't been doing anything to help. You know like with my problems and stuff,"

Aladdin looked around the room for a brief moment. He noticed that her father had left. He sat down right next to her and placed her hand in his. Then he spoke.

"Well you know Jas… you are still a teenager. Your going through things and feel certain emotions that all people around your age do,"

"But I'm the- the princess. I can't let my emotions get the best of me. And here I am doing just that,"

"Jasmine, just cause you're a princess doesn't mean you have to handle the whole world,"

Jasmine looked down guilty," Then why do I feel this way?"

A cough nearby brought Aladdin's attention to them.

"You know. I probably have some blame to that dearest,"

Jasmine looked up toward her father.

"Huh?"

Her father took Aladdin's seat and lifted her hand.

"I will admit I'm not the best father,"

"And I'm not the best daughter,"

"No dearest you are. You've just been under so much stress due to me,"

"Yes, very. I'm sorry father but when you continue to play with toys it makes me feel as if I'm the only one in the palace whose brain is capable on ruling,"

"Even me Jasmine?" Aladdin asked hurtfully.

"Well I mean…," the princess fidgited her fingers, "Look I'm sorry Aladdin. But I can't always trust you with handling royal stuff,"

"Why? Because I wasn't privileged like you to be constantly surrounded by these things growing up,"

"No it's not like that at all. I know you've worked hard but you seemed clueless when it came to your Sultan lessons,"

"That's because it had reading. And math!"

"Well I'm sorry. I tried to teach you the best I could,"

"I still can do stuff you know. I've been the one to do all your stuff while you've been sleeping your life away,"

"I know! And I'm proud of you for doing that. I don't want you or anyone to see me as ungrateful. I just literally can't do it. I'm to tired,"

"You wouldn't be if you actually ate and took your medicine,"

"Aladdin you know I hate eating,"

"Really I had no idea," he mumbled sarcastically.

"Aladdin don't be like this. I'm sorry if I offended you. I really am, but I apologized and explained why. Unlike you who just does stuff and tells me I'll get over it,"

"Dearest, please let's stop pointing fingers and just get to the point. I'm a terrible father who puts too much stress on you with all this suitor business and stuff. And we're all partially to blame for forcing you to mature to fast,"

Jasmine put her hand up and screamed, "NO! No no one is to blame but me ok! It's all my fault,"
"Stop blaming yourself!" Aladdin yelled.

Jasmine looked around frantically before audibly grunting. Tears flowed down her cheekbones. She cursed herself for letting this happen again.

"You know what, both of you guys can leave. I'm too tired to hear you guys yelling at me again,"

"Jasmine we all are. You think that being told off doesn't hurt us?" Aladdin asked.

"Yeah of course I do. I- I," Jasmine groaned angrily and threw a nearby pill bottle to the ground. Upon impact the cap flew off which caused dozens of tiny pills to scatter all over the ground, "Oh come on!" she yelled.

"Jasmine, come on. Let's just leave and get some rest," Aladdin told her.

"No it's fine, Just go away,"

"Please Jas. We just want to talk with you," Aladdin said.

Jasmine sighed and looked back at the two, "I know. And I'm sorry. But I'm to tired right now to continue,"

"Dearest you've only been up for less than an hour,"

"Look I've been dragged around constantly and I need a break. Between meals and appointments I've had little time for naps or spending time by myself. This was one time I have had some and I don't want to waste anymore of it arguing,"

"I understand. We all need breaks dearest," the Sultan agreed heartbroken. With that the Sultan left the room quietly. Rajah got up from his position and left. But not before giving his owner a hurtful expression. Aladdin looked at her.

"Please Aladdin," she begged.

"I can't. I don't want you to suffer alone,"

"I already have. Please just let me go,"

Aladdin felt tears in his eyes brew, "I can't,"

"Please! Just this once. Let me go. Let me take a mental health day please,"

"If that's what you really want,"

Jasmine looked at Aladdin, "I do. For now,"

As much as it hurt, Aladdin had to back off and let her go for now. Their hands parted and Aladdin walked away. He gave a slight smile and then shut the door behind him. Jasmine sat on the bed for a while before the realization of what she had allowed hit her.

"Wait Aladdin!" she screamed. When he didn't come back she yelled his name louder.

"Aladdin please come back! I didn't mean it. Please! Don't leave me," she cried.

Again he didn't come back. After five minutes of crying Jasmine found her cries fade out. Unfortunately she had chased away him and the help she needed.

"I didn't mean to," she mumbled.

Jasmine found herself crying in her bed for the next half hour. She cried out of the misery of her situation. She cried for the pain she was enduring again. She cried for the stress she was put under. As quick as it started it ended. Now she was just letting out small muffles and her tears were pouring down her face not as often. She was half asleep by the time she felt an arm on her shoulder. She didn't open her eyes because she was too tired. Even though she couldn't see, she knew who it was.

Aladdin whispered into her ear, "Hey Jas. How are you feeling?"

Jasmine moaned and responded.

"Just sick and tired," Jasmine paused to focus on her breathing for a moment. After she seemed to get it under control she spoke again, "I'm sorry I got mad at you. I really didn't mean it. I just get so angry at time and I want to be alone,"

"I understand. It just hurts, you know. I'm here to talk with you if you need it,"

"I know. I just sometimes need time alone to think,"

"Yeah. You seem to need a lot of time to yourself,"

Jasmine opened her eyes and flipped over. Now she was facing Aladdin.

"I don't have that much time to myself anymore. All I do is sleep. I'm only up for like three hours a day,"

"Well when we have appointments it goes up to like seven,"

Jasmine moaned, "No…"

Aladdin giggled and then kissed her on the forehead.

"Aladdin?"

"Hmm?"

"Wha- what do you do in a day?"

Aladdin looked at her confused.

"I'm sorry what?" he asked.

Jasmine sighed, "I mean father keeps telling me how much you guys work now since I can't,"

"Well I mean we do work harder now. I've needed to take on your position and all that you did. And lemme tell you. You left of a lot of work,"

"I'm sorry,"

"No Jasmine, it's ok. I think now I really understand just how much you were taking on. And I probably didn't help either, did I?"

Jasmine looked at him for a second with a blank expression and then she nodded.

"Yeah. Please don't take this badly but it seemed like you guys just gave me all your work so you could go hang out. The only time I ever saw you was during your sultan lessons and at bed,"

"Yeah I kinda did,"

The two remained silent for a moment.

"Are you sure your ok with all the work I left behind,"

"Don't worry about it. Agrabah is safe and it's not on the brink of collapse like you think. It handled itself before you married me,"

"Yeah I guess. But I still was doing a little bit of work,"

"Jas stop worrying about this. Everything is fine,"

"I can't help it, Aladdin. It's all I think about,"

"Well let's try to put you as more of a priority," Aladdin told her, pointing to her.

"I'll try. But it's just so hard to forget. All this princess business has gotten to my head and has driven me insane lately,"

"Well again don't worry about it,"

Jasmine laid down in bed and curled herself into a ball.

"I can't help it. I don't know why. What's wrong with me Aladdin! Why can't I ever not stop thinking of myself. And why can't I get healthier. I- I mean it can't be that hard right?"

Aladdin looked at her. He had a saddened expression on his face, "Again I think you just need some more time to think this over,"

"Aladdin I don't have time. I'm literally starving to death every single day! I can feel myself dying everyday. Aladdin…" Jasmine looked up toward Aladdin with a scared look, "I can feel my body dying everyday… And honestly. I'm scared," her voice quivered.

Aladdin didn't know what to say for a moment. So the two went back to staring at each other again. Eventually the two had stared long enough Jasmine found it boring and turned her back away from Aladdin.

"I guess you're retiring for the day," he assumed.

"Yeah… just come up with something for dinner alright. I'll try to eat then,"

"Alright. Sleep tight for now," he said.

Aladdin leaned over and then gave her a kiss on the cheek. After pulling back a tangled lock of hair he silently slipped out of the room. Now alone the princess was left to wonder yet again. About life now and back in the past.

Jasmine awoke to a sound outside. She was confused at first but after a quick glance of the room she remembered. The office was a simple yet elegant one. Not too crowded but still decorated enough to Jasmine's liking. The desk she had slept on was made from an oak tree tailored specially for her relatively low body height. The shelves were stuffed with dusty books and gold decor. A vase full of jasmine flowers sat on a corner perched just perfectly as the sun rays hit it during every hour. An ink and quill were scattered upon papers nearby by her feet.

A knock at the door woke Jasmine from her tired trance.

"Wha- what is it?" she asked, trying to hide her weary voice.

"Breakfast is served,"

Inside Jasmine groaned. She hated breakfast. The idea of immediately stuffing your face full with food after getting up sickened her.

"Not today. I'll eat later," she replied.

"Princess, your father and friends want to see you," the person informed her.

Jasmine quietly moaned to herself and continued to rub her head.

"Tell them I'm heading to the… uh gardens,"

Without any further exchange of words foots leaving could be heard. For the next few minutes the princess contemplated whether or not to continue with her day. She was utterly exhausted after the tiring day yesterday. She recalled herself almost passing out in the gardens trying to water them. And she remembered how seemingly heavier the watercan had become. After a full ten minutes of just sitting staring at the scattered things among her desk the princess finally pulled herself together and walked toward the door.

After struggling to pull the door open Jasmine quietly stepped out. She found herself walking in the shadows half the time as if she knew she didn't want anyone to find her. Unfortunately on her way she ran into Rajah. The tiger perked up and then ran over to his owner.

"Oh Rajah," she moaned.

The tiger began to push up against her but when he did she immediately found her head to be light headed. On instinct she pulled away and her hands went to her head.

"Oh buddy. Please don't," she told him.

As if on cue a person walked into the room.

"Jasmine there you are," Aladdin greeted. His face turned to worry when he got a good look at her, "Are you ok?"

Jasmine looked up to him and then forced a smile, "Yeah. I just need a few moments to wake up,"

"You didn't show up at breakfast again,"

"I wasn't hungry,"

"We had omelets today. Your's in the fridge if you get hungry,"

"Ok. What's planned for today?" Jasmine asked.

"Not much. Just a couple signings and then another Sultan lesson for me. I was thinking maybe we could go out on a marketplace date later today,"

Jasmine cringed, "What time?"

"Maybe after lunch,"

Jasmine sighed, "I'm sorry Aladdin. I already scheduled a meeting for me,"

Aladdin's smile slowly faded, "Oh, I mean I guess that's ok,"

"I'm sorry… been busy lately,"

"I know but we haven't hung out a lot. The only time I see you now during bed. And even that's turning into a rarity,"

Jasmine looked down tiredly. The sheer thought of her upcoming day was enough to make her pass out.

"Look, I'm sorry. I really want to but I didn't realize you scheduled it for that time. I wouldn't have done it,"

Aladdin looked at her. He lifted up her chin and looked into her eyes.

"Jas you really need to take a break,"

"It's fine. I'll be ok I promise,"

"You sure?"

"Yeah,"

"Well… I mean if you want to. I could use some help with this policy,"

Jasmine looked at him confused, "About the trade route?"

"No, it's about a part of the city that needs a fixed foundation. After the Unkbuut incident there's still part of the city that's having structural problems,"

"I'll look into it later," she told him.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. I can handle it. It's not the most busy day,"

"Isn't that a good thing?" Aladdin asked.

"Yes. But I like work. I can work on that for you,"

"Well ok. The papers are left on my desk,"

"Ok. I love you goodbye,"

"Goodbye," Aladdin waved.

After Aladdin had turned the corner Jasmine took a deep breath in.

'Jas why…? Why do you agree to do even more work for yourself?' She ridiculed herself.

Rajah nuzzled her nearby. In response Jasmine pet him but soon found herself unable to keep her balance. It was as if her feet and legs couldn't take it any longer. She quickly found herself falling to the ground. Thankfully the tiger was able to safely lower her to the ground. She took deep breaths in and out as she focused on her surroundings.

Rajah chuffed a bit and stared deeply into her eyes. Jasmine looked up toward the tiger.

"I- I'm alright bud. Just really tired," she reassured the tiger.

Unfortunately Rajah didn't agree. He shook his head and then laid his head down in her lap.

"I'm fine Rajah. Just help me get up,"

Jasmine gripped onto the tiger's fur and used all her strength to pull herself up. When she did she felt out of breath. After a quick break the two made their way to Aladdin's office. While they walked through the hall Rajah couldn't help but notice the tiredness the princess had been showing recently. Her hair was tangled and undone. She had worn the same outfit for three days in a row now, something she used to say was unhygienic. Her eyes were the most shocking though. They were puffy and red either from crying or the pure exhaustion of doing work.

He had noticed recently that she had stopped hanging out with any of her family. Rather she'd lock herself in the office and stay there for the whole day. She never came down for any meals which worried him. The few times she did come down he would notice how little she would eat on the plate. And she would always ask for the plainest of all foods. Like white rice, just white rice. Or dry cereal. Though nobody else noticed it he had begun to take notice of her body. Everyday it seemed as if she was getting more and more frail. When she was undressed he took notice of her hip, cheek, and rib bones protruding.

Jasmine parted her way from her tiger and down the hall the Aladdin's office. After walking she pushed open the door. Inside held a big desk with scattered papers across the floor. Unlike her office, he was relatively clean. She found the papers he was talking about quickly, for they were the first thing she saw when she sat down in the chair. Her body tempted to fall asleep but she pushed past the tiredness.

She found herself staring at the papers. No matter how hard she tried to focus on reading she would either find her mind going places elsewhere. And her eyes were having a hard time focusing. Just as she was about to pass out a knock at the door startled her back awake. She looked up and was met by her father.

"Hello," she greeted, trying to hide the tiredness.

"Hello dearest. I'm here to inform you that you are requested for a meeting,"

"I thought you were going to that meeting," she told him. She recalled her father blabbering on and on about an upcoming meeting he was excited about.

"Yes… but I have found myself a little pressed for time. I'm in the middle of hiring new staff for the palace and it seems like it's going to go over time,"

Jasmine wanted to decline. But seeing her father and thinking how much he had done for her made her stop.

'I mean it's only one meeting.' she told herself.

"Yes. I can do that,"

She watched as her father jumped up and down and then ran over to her. He gave her a tight squeeze and thanked her.

"I love you father," she said.

Jasmine waited for a response, but it never came.

"Father?" she asked, confused.

"Dearest…" he said, concerned.

Jasmine could feel her heart beating. She cursed herself for letting this happen. For she knew what he was going to say.

"I'll eat soon, father I promise. I just wanted to sleep in a bit longer," she lied.

"Ok… but please. I didn't realize how boney you've gotten,"

"It's nothing. You must have just hugged a hard part of my outfit father,"

"Are you sure,"

"Yes. Now if you want me to head to the meeting I need you to leave,"

"Dearest-"

"Please. Just leave me. I'll see you later," she said.

Jasmine quickly shoved past her father and exited the room. All she wanted was to just get away. From her father and the palace. She stopped in her tracks when she heard laughing and giggling nearby. Jasmine looked down and saw her friends out in the gardens hanging out. They just seemed so relaxed. Too relaxed. Especially Aladdin. He had an upcoming meeting with important people within an hour. And he was just sitting around.

"Jasmine! Come on!" Aladdin called to her.

Jasmine shook her head.

"Sorry I have to go!" she yelled.

Aladdin watched as she quickly disappeared back into the palace. Inside his heart sank at the idea of her. She was leaving him yet again to do work. Something he found her doing often. Lately he noticed that she hadn't been hanging out with him or any of her friends lately. Instead locking herself away in her office to do busy work.

The day went on quickly. Next thing Aladdin knew he was sitting in his office waiting for Jasmine to start one of his Sultan lessons. He fiddled with his fingers as he waited for her to come. One minute passed, then another, and then fifteen. It wasn't like Jasmine to be late. Especially if it was something with Aladdin. Before he was going to get up the door slammed open and Jasmine came in. She looked frazzled, with tons of papers and her clothes he had seen her wear for three straight days now. She greeted him with a quick hello and he only waved back.

"Jasmine is everything alright?" the prince asked.

"Nothing. Why?" She lied.

"You looked stressed. And frazzled,"

"I didn't have time to do my hair this morning,"

"Jas it's more than just your hair. I've seen you wear the same outfit for three days now," he told her.

Jasmine dropped the papers on the desk and then straightened herself out.

"I wear this blue outfit all the time. I don't get what's the big deal,"

Aladdin shook his head and sighed, "You know what it's fine. What am I learning today,"

"I haven't really had that much time to think about one,"

"Really? You had all of yesterday,"

"Yesterday was busy,"

"And today wasn't? Why couldn't you work on it?"

"Look I was busy ok! I was working on both yours and my father's work. I was busy ok! And after this I have even more," she snapped.

Jasmine turned her back and crossed her arms. After the initial anger wore off she found herself more confused than ever. Did she really just snap at Aladdin like that? And why was her back turned. And what was going on? Soon she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around briefly and then found herself embraced in Aladdin's arms.

"I- I'm sorry I snapped," she whimpered.

"It's ok Jas. But for now I just want you to relax. Don't stress too much about work. Just be like me. There's no need to dress up and act fancy in front of delegates. Just be yourself. They probaly just want to see you, as a person," he told her Then he laughed, "I out of everybody should know that,"

"Yeah you're right," Jasmine laughed.

Aladdin broke away from Jasmine and the two stared at each other.

"Aladdin? Why can't I just relax? Why can't I be like you?" she asked.

The prince was about to respond but he stopped; he was now getting a good look at Jasmine. For the first time he noticed how frail she really was. He never bothered about her weight before. He knew she was a healthy weight despite her small size. But now it seemed like she was skinny, too skinny. The more he looked the more he took in how sick she seemed. Her hair was a mess, and needed a desperate comb through. Her ribs bones were starting to show.

"Aladdin?" she asked.

Jasmine could feel his stare on her. A million thoughts ran through her mind of what he was thinking. Had he discovered the truth? The truth of what she had been doing behind closed doors.

Aladdin had to think of something brief and quick to say before Jasmine caught on. He didn't want to be offensive and hurt her feelings. So he said the first thing that came to his mind when looking at her face.

"Your cheekbones are swollen, Jas," he blurted out.

The two stared at each other. Inside Jasmine's heart stopped. She cursed that her urge to purge got the best of her. She'd purged up the soup they had for lunch which caused her to be late to the meeting with Aladdin. And now he was starting to catch on.

"Dangit," she mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Oh- uh… nothing. I- I've just been off recently,"

"Ok… and you're sure you're ok?"

"Yes Aladdin," she tried to reassure him.

Against her will Aladdin walked up to her and cupped her face.

"Jas… You haven't eaten in like three days,"

Jasmine groaned and pulled Aladdin from Aladdin.

"AND? It's not like I'm not sick! I"M PERFECTLY FINE! I've eaten plenty, you've just not seen any of it!" she snapped.

Again the princess found herself turned away arms crossed. In reality all she wanted more was for Aladdin to come and hug her. To comfort her and tell her everything was ok.

"Jas… you know what. Maybe it's best if we skip this lesson. I can always do it with someone else,"

"NO! No you can't Aladdin. I promise I'll do more. Just don't stop doing them with me," she begged.

"What's so special about us doing it together? Won't this relieve stress?"

"No! No it won't. I like doing it with you. Besides you said that they aren't patient with you,"

"You haven't really been any better either of these past lessons. You're always confused on what's going on and when I ask anything you snap at me," he admitted.

Jasmine turned around full of rage.

"It's not my fault! It's the simplest task and you don't understand! I spent three weeks! Three weeks doing basic math equations and you still don't get them!" she snapped.

"It's not my fault. All of them include sentences and other elements I don't understand,"

Jasmine groaned and turned her back.

"What is with you recently Jasmine?! You're putting your work before everything you love! And your behavior toward me during these sultan lessons is not any different from what they were,"

Jasmine stared at him, eyes brimming with tears, "Why didn't you tell me sooner. We could have worked things out,"

"I saw how much you worked for me. And I appreciate that. So I didn't want to hurt your feelings,"

"Well it hurts more when you don't tell the truth and in the end it ends up hurting both of us in the process," she spit out. She knew she was being completely hypocritical. Due to the fact she was hiding her true feelings and her eating habits.

"You know what Jas. It's probably best for the both of us if we stop doing lessons together. I'll need to learn by myself anyway if one day you're not here with me,"

"Aladdin, that won't happen I promise. Please don't take this away from me!"

"Would you stop!" he yelled angrily. He stepped in front of her, his tall statue made her feel so small, "You always make it all about you! It's all you. You've only cared about you this whole month! Your work! You! It's all about you! What about me? I'm still here. Your family still exists. There's more to life than just your office. You need to spend time with me. With your family at the dinner table. Do you understand!?" He ridiculed her.

Jasmine nodded her head slightly before running out of the room in tears. Her cries echoed through the halls and traveled wherever she went. Once she made it to her room she threw herself on her bed and just cried. She had tried her best to hold her emotions of how tired, drained, and burnt out she had become. With only herself and her journal truly seeing how much she was holding back. She hadn't cried like this in so long, but after Aladdin had told her she was being a selfish narcissist she couldn't hold it back.

Jasmine found herself as a little child. One being ridiculed for the simplest task. She couldn't ever take the pain away from Aladdin scolding her, but she could take away one thing. Rolling off of bed she attempted to calm herself down. But the more she cried the more her stomach began to feel queasy. Maybe she was actually becoming sick. She quickly ran to her bathroom, flung open the door, and then vomited into the toilet. The plopping sound of her vomit hitting the water was enough to make her vomit even more. Never before had she smelled or heard anything so disgusting. And never had she imagined she would be willing to stick her head directly in it. Her eyes were red from the strength used to vomit, her hands were beginning to bruise from her constantly rubbing them against her teeth. Her head felt light headed in the end. But she still continued.

Jasmine purged until no liquid or food came up. Even when her body told her she was done she still continued. Eventually after 15 minutes she stopped. Jasmine pulled back from the toilet and leaned up against the bathtub.

Just a few minutes ago she had lost her temper and thrown a fit against Aladdin. An unnecessary one. For he was only suggesting they stop doing lessons together. But to her it meant the world. She liked the fact she was the one Aladdin came to when he was in dire need of help. But it seemed like that was being taken away too. As well as her ability to keep a straight mind. The past few days she had found her mind wandering places when she was supposed to be focusing on other more important things. Like political meetings, taxes, or even meals. But instead during them all she would just be wondering when the next time to purge was. And how much food she had eaten. Or how much her body seemed to shrink.

Jasmine rubbed the vomit on her face onto her outfit. After pulling herself together she picked herself up and flushed the toilet. She gagged at the smell that filled the room. Allah only knows what the toilet has seen throughout its life. Jasmine coughed before exiting the bathroom. She wanted to go find Aladdin, to go say she was sorry and she wasn't thinking. But she was just so tired. It felt as if her body could no longer go.

The princess walked over to the bed and then doubled over. The hunger of not eating for days was starting to take its toll on her. Her stomach growled and began to feel as if it was contorting to find any food. It felt like a hot burning blade that was stabbed into her chest. And something on the other end was wiggling it around.

"Oh…" she moaned. Jasmine let tears fall as the pains got worse and worse.

For the next hour or so the princess tossed and turned in her bed. In pain and sadness all she could do was cry. Alone once more she found herself unable to escape the situation she had put herself in. Lonely, alone to forever suffer. And nobody seemed to care. And if she did tell them they would probably not take it seriously. They'd probably just say the generic things and then just leave it off like that.

"Oh Aladdin, I'm sorry," she whispered. Finally the pains faded out enough for her to fall asleep. Hoping that someday they will understand. And that nothing more could go wrong.

Hello readers! I'm sorry if you might see this chapter as filler since nothing much really happened. Again it's just Jasmine crying. But I really wanted more interactions between Jasmine and her Father. And I wanted to do some more flashbacks. I also really just wanted to write more for this story but to me it seems like things are going a bit too fast. So I hope you enjoyed it. Also reviews are nice :)
