The Fic Lab Prompt #28: "You need to get laid" This is my second story for this prompt.

Alice knew tonight was the night. She'd been waiting for this night for a while now. She'd just been waiting until everything was perfect. She was finally ready to be with Jasper.
Looking in the mirror one last time, Alice knew she looked pretty. That's all she ever wanted to be. Her short black hair framed her face like a picture. Her bright red lipstick called attention to the plumpness of her lips. Her short black dress accentuated the curves on her petite body. Yes, Alice knew she looked very pretty tonight.
"You look gorgeous," Cynthia said. "He won't be able to resist you.
Cynthia was Alice's best friend. No one understood her as Cynthia did. Cynthia was always in Alice's corner, making sure she was safe from the demons that plagued her since childhood. Alice knew she'd never have made it on her own without Cynthia there beside her.
"Thanks, Cynthia. I do look pretty tonight, don't I," Alice said beaming.
"Absolutely, Alice. You are definitely getting laid tonight."
"Don't be so vulgar, Cynthia," Alice frowned at Cynthia's words. She hated when Cynthia talked so crassly. Her mother always said a lady doesn't talk about sex.
"I'm just saying what you really want to say…deep down," Cynthia playfully argued back.
At that, Alice started laughing. Of course, Cynthia was right, but Alice had been raised to be a good girl. No one but Cynthia knew the hell Alice's mother put her through when she was growing up. Her mother saw evil everywhere and was determined to keep that evil out of Alice. Alice knows she would have suffocated from the pressure if Cynthia hadn't been there to help her let it all out.
"Okay, I'm ready. Let's go," Alice called as she walked out the door.

Once they arrived at the club, Alice and Cynthia headed toward the dance floor. Alice stopped when she saw Jasper in the DJ booth. He was the most beautiful man she'd ever seen. He looked so confident up there, spinning records, pointing to people on the dance floor, his blond hair curled around his face with sweat from dancing to the music he played.
"Come on, Alice. You need to get on the dance floor where Jasper can see you," Cynthia called over the noise of the club as she pulled Alice to follow. They didn't seem to care as Alice was bumping into others as they made their way to the dance floor in prime view of the DJ booth.
Alice let herself get lost in the music, feeling Jasper's eyes caress her body as she swayed her hips.
"That's right, Alice. Let him watch you. Let him fall in love with you as you dance," Cynthia whispered in her ear.
Alice was so happy to have her best friend's support. There was never any jealousy with Cynthia. She had always just wanted the best for Alice. Cynthia had been her best friend for as long as she could remember. Alice didn't make friends easily, but she knew she'd never be alone because she had Cynthia in her life.
"You look so sexy, Alice. Jasper can't keep his eyes off you. Tonight is the night."
Alice tingled inside. She knew this night with Jasper would be all she'd ever dreamed about. She was a little nervous since she was still a virgin but she knew Jasper would be gentle with her. How could he not be? He seemed so gentle in everything he did. She had no doubt tonight he would be too.
After they'd danced for a couple of hours, Alice knew it was time to go to Jasper's apartment. She'd be there when he came home from the club after his DJ shift. She just had to wait a little bit longer.
"I'm going to go to Jasper's apartment now to wait for him, Cynthia."
"I know, Alice. But I'm coming with you. I want to make sure you get there safe first. Don't worry, I'll leave you two alone before it goes too far."

Alice and Cynthia were sitting on the sofa in Jasper's living room when Alice heard the key in the door.
"He's home," Alice whispered. "I'm nervous now, Cynthia."
"Everything will be fine, Alice. You've waited so long for this. I won't let anything bad happen to you, you know that." Alice started to calm down because she did know that.
Before Alice could worry anymore, Jasper was standing in front of her with a strange look on his face.
"You've kept me waiting, Jasper," she said in her most seductive voice.
"Who are you are and how did you get into my apartment," Jasper asked, his face full of confusion.
Alice wasn't expecting him to be playing games tonight. They weren't at the role-playing stage yet.
"Don't tease, Jasper," Alice purred. "You know I'm your Alice. This is our night…it's finally here."
"I don't know who you are and I don't know how you got into my apartment, but you need to leave. Now!" Jasper shouted angrily.
"Why are you doing this, Jasper," Alice cried out. "I know you want this. I saw the way you looked at me at the club tonight. I know you want me."
"I won't let him hurt you, Alice, you know that," Cynthia smiled at her.
"I know, Cynthia, thank you. You're always there for me," smile back at her.
Jasper watched this strange girl sitting alone on his sofa have a conversation with herself. He realized then that this girl was crazy.
Suddenly, the girl's eyes turned dark as she reached into her purse and pulled out a gun.
"You had your chance. I won't let you hurt Alice," the girl said, her voice now much deeper than it had been previously.
Jasper felt a chill run down his spine right before he heard the gun go off.

AN: I've always been intrigued by how Alice could have remained sane after everything she'd been through in her back story. Even as a vampire, waking up with no memory of who or what she was. I feel all of that sets the stage for insanity.
Also, I don't like to use the word "crazy" to describe a person with a mental illness but I figured in the situation Jasper was in, with a strange girl in his apartment acting like she knows him and seeming to talk to herself, that's how he would have viewed her.
