Nami was at Buggy's boat she stole, layed down, looking at the night sky.

Buggy asked her to kill Luffy. And the worst part? She blamed herself for the situation. She definitely should have thought about a better plan. Even though Luffy is a pirate, she was not on their level. She would never kill someone like Arlong did Bell-mère. Yet she was between her life and his…

"The resolve to put your own life on the line!"

His words stuck on her mind ever since.

Now that they left the town and Luffy left HER 5 MILLION BERRIES BEHIND - to help the people - she probably could bear to navigate with these pirates.

Maybe, just maybe, they are different…

– I have to sleep on this side, moron! – Nami heard a not so quiet Zoro whisper coming from the boys boat.

– But this side is better!

"Come on Luffy…" Nami thought. "Your scream is quieter than that!" She giggled very quietly.

– What if she sees?

"Oh… Sees? Sees what?" Now they got her attention. She sneaked at the window to watch them.

– Then cover with a sheet, so she can't!

Luffy was with his back at her boat. Zoro was movin' around his arms trying to explain something Luffy clearly didn't understand.

– What sheet, Luffy? We don't have shit! Not even food! Look at this boat! Unless you want the secret out… You know I don't care.

A secret? Zoro doesn't care… Does it involve him?

– No! Nobody can know. I don't wanna hide it, but… You know I can't. At least not now… – Luffy looked down.

"Are they… Are they in a relationship?"

After that "realization" (not really one, since it wasn't true), she spaced out a little bit.

"The sea sure is full of surprises! I thought Zoro would be the one who would want to hide a relationship with Luffy, not the other way around!"

While Nami was thinking that, she didn't pay attention to Luffy and Zoro coming to an agreement.

– Ugh, fine! – Luffy said.

Nami woke from her thoughts and hid, since they kind of stood and changed places. Now she was back to just listening to both of them.

– Night Zoro! – Luffy immediately started snoring.

– Night Luffy. – It's what Nami thinks Zoro said, since she almost didn't hear it.

"That was… Informational."

Luffy was sleeping with her butt up and her head kind of stuck on the ground.

That weird dude hypnotized her and she fell asleep. The three little kids were freaking out, saying "he is dead!".

"I can't believe she slept like this." Zoro thought.

She was doing a pretty good job at hiding herself, but without Zoro's help she would have been found for sure. Zoro can see that she is back at her woman's body, because her butt is bigger.

"Hopefully I'm the only one looking at her butt". He thought (thinking, of course, that she could keep her secret if anyone else noticed), but then he immediately blushed, because the phrase he thought seemed like he was lusting at her. Ugh, what a stupid thought process!

Zoro went to action. He advanced before anyone could see his blush and he crouched next to his captain. He pushed her elastic ears to his mouth.

– Oi, Luffy. Nami and the kids are here. Wake up! Hide yourself before getting up. Your butt is up, everyone is looking. – Zoro was going to flush again, but he held it. He is just helping her with the promise.

– Alright. Thanks Zoro! –She tried to say, but her face was still buried. Zoro let her ear go and it came back to its place with a snap. Luffy got out of the hole and she was in her boy body.

Nami is glaring at them, trying to figure it out. Sometimes it looked like the secret was indeed a relationship, sometimes it didn't. But if it wasn't an affair, what could it possibly be? Why would Zoro blush and then go talk to him in his ear?

Luffy cut her train of thought when he told them a murder was going to happen!

– Well, he is a pervert. – Zoro crossed his arms.

Zoro and Luffy (with her boy body) were on the balcony of the Baratie, looking at each other.

– No he's not! I like him. – That remark made Zoro's heart skip a beat. (What was that?) – I only like good people. Like you! – She smiled. Her compliment didn't disarm him. Ok, maybe a little...

– You know he will change once he realizes you are not a he but a she, right?

– Well, I guess that's inevitable. – She stretched her arms, holding the balcony in front of Zoro. She soon was seated in front of him and very much in his face. – You changed. – She looked directly at his eyes.

– What? I did? – He took a step back so she wasn't so close to him. They didn't have much time together with her secret, so he couldn't even place anything that may have changed. – What are you talking about?

– When I was in your personal space, you would put your hands in my face and shove me. After knowing I was a girl, you started to pull away instead. Like right now! – She pointed a finger at his feet. He was almost taking a second step back, but he stopped.

– Well captain, if that's what you like… – Zoro put his hands in her face and pushed her out his way. She slides to the right, still seated at the balcony. – I can keep doing it like this. – He took his hand out of her face and she was laughing. He couldn't help but smile.

– It's not just that! You also got way more protective and you keep looking after me in a way I don't think you would do if I was a boy...

– That's silly. I am protective of you since you're my captain, my friend and have a secret that needs to be kept.

– But if I were a boy, would you be talking to me now about a guy you think is a pervert?

Well, Zoro didn't have anything to say now.

Cause to him it wasn't about her being a woman. He doesn't give a fuck about that. He treats people the same way: interact with them the least possible. Doesn't care what they do, nor why. They can befriend whoever they want, do as they please. He couldn't care less. But it's different with her... He doesn't know what it is… Maybe he thinks she's too naive? He doesn't know…

Luffy sighed. She looked away.

– Look, people will treat me differently when they find out, it's inevitable. That's not entirely a bad thing either. Like… Nami, for example. She could be my girlfriend, and we would sleep in the girls room and talk about… I don't know… Girl stuff. – She was looking over her shoulder at the horizon.

– I didn't know you were able to talk about girl stuff. – Zoro mocked Luffy. She looked at him trying to frown, but she was clearly wanting to smile. She is so cute. (Wait, what?)

Luffy punched his shoulder.

– Of course I can! I am one!

– Oi, it was just a joke! Don't punch so hard! – Zoro complained. Luffy laughed.

– Sorry. – She smiled, not sorry at all.

Zoro and Luffy were silent for a minute, staring at the sea.

"Things will change, won't they? Just because Luffy is a girl... How weird is that?"

– Zoro… – The swordsman looked at her, leaving his thoughts behind. – I have just one question that I need you to answer. – He could see she had a concern in the back of her eyes.

– Do you trust me?

– Yes I do. Blindly.

His answer was so fast, and he didn't even blink. Her heart skipped a beat. (What was that?) She smiled.

– Then let's not worry about the future right now. Let's go back inside and keep calling me captain, so you don't mix up she and he! – She laughed.

– Hey, that happened just once!

Zoro entered the restaurant again with his captain. He was happy he could assure her that he trusted her. And if she thinks Sanji is a good addition for the team, he wouldn't question it. He knows she is even better than him at reading people. He was just worried she was thinking with her stomach instead. (Boy, she ate so much!) But even though she doesn't show it, she is pretty smart.
