Chapter 12
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Entoma ←
Entoma woke up early and eagerly. She was happy to serve her mother with every fiber of her being and also saw this character trait with nearly all of her new siblings, a certain exception being Ninya, at least in her eyes.
Why her mother kept Ninya around was beyond Entoma, but she accepted her mothers directive. If her mother decided to change her mind though she would not hesitate to dispose of the ungrateful brat.
Entoma grew close to Arche and Zesshi, since both had potential. She liked Zesshi a bit more though, since Zesshi submitted willingly even with her strength.
Arche on the other hand had quite some potential, with her talent and her drive to learn from mother. The smaller twins were just nice, though they would need to grow more and then show their color. But they were learning and taking to their new bodies the best. Enti also didn't want to agree with her mother that these troglodytes were adorable.
Entoma was preparing the breakfast, scrambled eggs with mauled cockroaches, salt and pepper together with bacon and buns. She also prepared a shake with chitin for them, gotta make the small ones strong and aid her mothers body as best as possible after all.
After the dish was prepared she prepared the table, with the help of Zesshi, Ninya and Arche. She then looked at who wasn't awake and realized that her mother and the twins were not awake.
She opened her mothers room and saw that she cuddled with the twins. Entoma nearly got a sugarshock while Mini-Entoma mused in her head. She then opened the curtain and opened the window. Mother and the twins stirred and Entoma now pulled out her figurative ace in the whole, the ready breakfast with all its smell.
The twins and mother stirred more and then Entoma heard three stomachs grumble. This was her moment. She walked closer to mother.
"Good morning mother. I prepared breakfast. Sadly you have to rise, since you have important guests today." Entoma soothed and saw her mothers eye shoot open.
"Mornin Enti." mother said and crawled out of bed, the twins following her. Mother immediately went behind Entoma and scooped her up. Entoma then reciprocated the hug and felt much better than her grumpy self in the morning.
The breakfast went by without any problems, much to Entomas' liking and she saw that everyone understood the orders mother had given them yesterday evening. Mother still had repeated her orders, to make sure everything went without any blunder. After breakfast all of the children except her went to the western part of the mansion. She herself started with cleaning up and preparing the room for the guest.
She stored the pillows and other web-products. She also prepared the wheelchair a bit more, placing the most comfortable pillow where her mother would sit.
She then went to the eastern part of the mansion and knocked at the office door from Yuri.
"Come in please." Yuri asked and Entoma opened the door.
"Good morning, Yuri," Entoma replied and walked in. She seated herself across Yuri.
"What can I do for you?" Yuri asked, placing her glasses a bit higher on her nose.
"I wanted to report that I prepared as much as I could, sadly my appearance might be too much to place in front of our guests. I will therefore stay in the western part today and help Zesshi with her movements." Entoma explained and Yuri nodded.
"I understand. I will have Foire watch over lady Arachama for today." Yuri smiled and Entoma nodded. She still felt a bit depressed about hiding away in the western part, sadly it was necessary.
Yuri stood up and hugged her reassuringly. It was a small hug, not one of the big hugs mother used.
"It is only today. All will be alright" Yuri petted Entoma and Entoma felt a bit better afterwards.
"I know." Entoma answered and then shook her head. She then bowed slightly and went to the western part, after telling Foire to take great care of mother.
And maybe a slight threat at the end if she failed, but that was details.
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Arachama ←
Arachama had waited a bit after breakfast. It was hard for her to let her children go to the western part, knowing that she wouldn't see them till dinner. But it was sadly necessary. She waited till one of the Homunculi-maids went through the door. It was Foire, since the twins were learning and Arachama didn't want them distracted too much.
"Good m-m-morning, Lady Arachama?" Foire smiles weirdly.
"Why are you so scared?" Arachama smiled and Foire fell to one knee and pleaded for mercy.
"What is going on?" Arachama was shocked while Mini-Arachama put on her detective-outfit.
"I am sorry, lady Arachama. Entoma instructed me to perform to perfection or else. I am deeply sorry." Fith weep while Arachama scooped her up.
"Ara ara. How about the following deal? You do your best and I tell Enti that you did your duty to perfection. But don't tell her about this deal ok?" Arachama smiled and Foire nodded vigorously.
"Yes mam. I am sorry for the bad image I left behind. I will do my best." Foire smiled.
"That smile is much better than fear on you." Arachama smiled and caressed Foire.
"Thank you, lady Arachama." Foire became much more happy and stroked her cheeks.
"Allright, let's begin our business for the day." Arachama smiled.
"It is one of my greatest honors, lady Arachama." Foire replied.
Arachama pulled a wheelchair just under her abdomen and placed the "Doppelganger Ring" on one of her fingers. A puff of smoke erupted, engulfing all of Arachama. After the smoke dissipated and both coughed a bit, both looked into a mirror.
Arachama now sat in the wheelchair and changed her looks drastically. She now had long and black hair, with some red streaks in there. She looked like in her early 20s and had a most alluring body figure. The only downside, planned as it was, was that her legs were so thin, that it was believable that she couldn't walk. Her arms were just strong enough to hold dishes or books, nothing like using her wheelchair to move around. She wore an elegant dress, which had her sigil on its back and had the color of red and purple. She then looked at the table and eyed the books she had placed there, to make her cover more believable.
"What do you think, Foire? Does it look good AND believable?" Arachama asked and Foire nodded.
"Yes, lady Arachama. It looks believable, but if you wish I could use the blankets to hide your legs a bit. That would be more comfortable and hide your "fragility". Maybe you are ashamed of your weakness?" Foire replied.
"You're thinking along. I like that. Please do as you proposed." Arachama smiled and Foire nodded. Foire placed one of the blankets around her legs and under her butt and one a bit higher, so that Arachama would stay warm.
"Is it too warm, lady Arachama?" Foire asked.
"It is definitely a bit warm. Please open the window and then bring me to my office. If I can't move, I can at least fight the paperwork." Arachama sighed.
"As you wish, lady Arachama." Foire replied and did as told.
→ Arwintar / Jircniv ←
Jircniv was walking through his palace in preparation for his visit. He knew from Fluder that this caster was probably disabled. He also knew, thanks to Leinas, that she looked beautiful. This made him a bit scared, since he knew that most casters were unique personalities and headstrong. He also knew that the nobility would try many things to get Arachama and Yuri Yamana under their thumbs. Sadly this was part of their practices, even though he was doing it.
He had Leinas Rockbruise on guard duty today, since she knew where this Arachama lived and had met her before. It also couldnt hurt to bring Leinas away from her family, since this stupid noble family is making his servant think about her loyalties, which he couldnt have around himself.
The day went as boring as the others, until after lunch. He decided to have a carriage prepared and also asked Leinas to buy a present, fighting for the host. Even though it seemed not fitting for a man of his status, he decided to get a nice present for Arachama, since he wanted her support and goodwill. Leinas had bought a few books. One about monsters, one about history and one about tales.
"Are you sure she will like those?" Jircniv asked.
"I am sure, since she is a scholar and not a soldier." Leinas replied and Jircniv nodded.
"I will trust your judgment then." Jircniv said and Leinas smiled.
While the final preparations were done Jircniv took a small nap, after which he dressed more appropriately.
The ride to the mansion didn't take long and Jircniv was surprised how well the Yamana had moved in this mansion, even clearing the foregarden. Such endeavors usually take much more time. All the trees were trimmed and the street in their foregarden was clean. Then he finally saw the front of the mansion. It was as he remembered it, only much cleaner.
The carriage halted in front of the front door and Leinas knocked. A maid opened the door and bowed deeply towards Jircniv.
"Good evening, Emperor Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix. Lady Yuri Yamana had prepared for your meeting with lady Arachama. Would you like certain refreshments?" the maid asked and Jircniv simply nodded.
"That would be great." Jircniv answered and the maid nodded.
"I will bring the refreshments then after I have brought you to lady Arachama. Please follow me." the maid replied and Jircniv nodded.
The walk was short. He was led through the foyer to the northern part of the mansion. He looked around with a sharpened eye and was surprised how clean the floor was.
"They are exceptional, everyone I have met from this bunch of people. This yuri Yamana is a good trader with exceptional goods. They have maids, which do their duty in extreme detail and then two caster, which are extremely strong." Jircniv thought and his resolve increased. He signed Leinas to carry the presents, which Leinas immediately took.
Once they reached the living room of the northern part Jircniv had to gulp. There was a beautiful woman in her early 20s with a book in her lap. She smiled sincerely and bowed slightly, obviously hindered a bit by her seating position.
"Good afternoon, emperor. Sadly I can't bow as deeply as I probably should. Please take a seat." The women said and signed for them to take a seat at the opposite part of the table.
"She is stunning, though I know of her handicap. But her face makes it much more worth it. I also know her strength isnt from her physical capabilities. Keep your cool Jircniv." Jircniv thought and took a seat.
"Good afternoon, Arachama. I came here, since I heard reports about your strength. I would also like to talk about business." Jircniv smiled and Arachama lifted her head and Jircniv got more and more stricter with himself.
"Ara ara. Since Foire is coming back with cake and tea, shall we eat and then talk about the boring stuff?" Arachama smiled and Jircniv nodded, feeling his cheeks flush.
"I would like that," Jircniv said.
Foire, as the maid was called, placed tea and cake on the table. She also asked Leinas if she wanted a portion, which Leinas agreed to try.
"I have a question, Arachama" Jircniv asked.
"Yes, emperor?" Arachama signed Jircniv to continue.
"I know that there is also a Yuri Yamana living in this mansion. What is your relation to her? I also want to ask who works for whom inside this mansion" Jircniv asked.
"It is a bit more complicated. Yuri Yamana is a close friend and she works our finances, while I am a caster, helping wherever I can." Arachama replied and Jircniv nodded.
"So you are her retinue?" he reiterated.
"Not really. It is more that we are roommates and share the same mansion. Sadly I am a bit dependent, thanks to my condition. This means that while I was a noble where I am from, I am more office worker and caster here." Arachama tried to explain and Jircniv thinks he got it.
"So, you and Yuri are friends, thus she helps you out because of your condition. You lost your title for some reason. I guess you want to help, since you don't want to be a burden to Yuri." Jircniv asked
"That is close enough. I didn't lose my title though. I could probably leave for my homeland and use my title. But I don't want to fight in a civil war. It is spiritually taxing and, in my honest opinion, quite boring." Arachama smiled and Jircniv again fought against the upcoming feelings.
"I see. I hope that my empire can prove quite peaceful to you." Jircniv replied and Arachama nodded.
They continued to eat the cake until there was no piece left. The tea was also drunk quite fast.
"That was delicious." Jircniv said surprised.
"Why so surprised? Did you think that we would eat dirt?" Arachama asked and obviously faked a pout. This humored Jircniv greatly.
"Please don't misunderstand me. I rarely eat food of this quality when I am a guest at another noble's mansion." Jircniv laughed and Arachama giggled.
"Sadly I can't say anything about the nobles from this country. But from what I heard about my former neighbors, they don't seem nice." Arachama confessed and JIrcniv nodded a bit saddened.
"That might be the case. Still, I have more power than they do." Jircniv smiled. Arachama then smiled again and Jircniv felt better
"Ara ara. That is nice to know. I have a nice gift for you. I have two reports ready for you. I took the freedom and infiltrated the eight fingers and managed to infiltrate the capital of the Slane Theocracy. You will probably like what you can read about the Slane Theocracy. You might even mobilize your forces. Re-Estize will take more time though." Arachama smiled and Jircniv nodded and saw two big bound books.
"I will look over them. Sadly I am not only here to know a beautiful lady, such as you, even if it is certainly enlightening. I am also here to do business." Jircniv tried to steer the conversation to the reason for his visit.
"Ara ara. You already told me what you want. I will help you in the annual war, though there are a few conditions on my part." Arachama pouted with puppy-eyes and Jircnivs heart nearly melted away.
"What condition would that be?" Jircniv asked.
"You must arrange the means of travel for me, since I am a bit, disabled. I also want Yuri Yamana to be reimbursed for the loss, she could get through my absence.I hope that this is acceptable." Arachama counted.
"That is manageable, though I want to know what means of travel you could not use?" Jircniv asked.
"Everything that requires legs is too hard for me, thus I am in a wheelchair." Arachama explained and pointed towards her covered legs.
"I understand." Jircniv nodded, slightly blushing embarrassed by this.
"I will also only cover a possible retreat and would like to only use healing magic." Arachama said and Jircniv gritted his teeth.
"There I hoped to get the annual wars over within this year." Jircniv sighed.
"It is not written in stone. Depending on the circumstances I will use my magic offensively. Though killing 120 000 enemies is a bit much for my consciousness." Arachama replied and JIrcniv nodded.
"That sounds fair, though I don't know your healing capabilities." Jircniv said.
"I can use faith-magic to heal. I can resurrect people. Though "old-mother" would be able to do much more in that regard." Arachama replied and Jircniv smiled.
"That sounds great. Could you potentially be able to teach more of faith-magic? We asked the Slane Theocracy time and time again, sadly they always rejected our pleas for that knowledge." Jircniv nearly had a watering mouth and was barely able to control himself.
"I am already teaching Fluder Paradyne. Afterwards I will decide again." Arachama replied.
"Though that would be great. I am also here to ask for more of the items we got from you. If it is possible. We would of course pay for those." Jircniv changed the topic slightly.
"I could get my figurative hands on around 90 000 of those swords. Though I can't give them away freely." Arachama visibly sweated.
"I would pay of course. How do 120 silver coins per sword sound?" Jircniv asked, trying to impress the cute women.
"Then I could get her abilities, her beauty and her nice character for myself" Jircniv thought, figuratively liking his own lip.
"That would be far too much." Arachama replied, shocked.
"How much would you deem acceptable?" Jircniv asked.
"How about 45, since I don't want to bankrupt your empire." Arachama replied.
"Then we have a deal. I will have a contract delivered to you tomorrow." Jircniv smiled
"Please let it be brought to Yuri, since I already need to inform her upon our agreement. I can't let her sit in the dark." Arachama sweatdropped.
"That would be possible. I also brought a gift for you." Jircniv looked at Leinas who nodded. Leinas placed a chest with three books on the table.
"I heard that you were a scholar. I hope you like those books" Jircniv sweated bullets.
"I love them. Thank you emperor. I didn't know that your opinion of me was this high." Arachama smiled brightly and Jircniv felt his heart beat much faster.
"I like how happy she is." Jircniv smiled at the reply.
"Sadly I have to go, since we have nearly dinner and I have to meet some people and make arrangements." he said and Arachama nodded.
"Then I wish you a good evening, sadly I can only accompany you to the door." Arachama smiled and looked at Foire, who walked behind her and prepared to steer the wheelchair.
"That would be more than lovely." Jircniv said and Arachama nodded.
"What a sweet girl. I will win you." Jircniv thought, trying to get the last bits of details of Arachama into his memory.
They walked towards the door and Jircniv said goodby there.
The ride back to the palace went smoothly and without a word being said. He thought mainly about how Arachama had made a giant impact on him. While he felt her weakness, he could also see her posture as someone strong. He thought that it was stupid, and without the talent of Fluder he wouldnt have bothered. It was confusing him and his emotions didn't help him.
"I guess I want her." Jircniv thought with a frown on his face. He hoped that his empire wouldn't be so dependent on one person, since great power corrupts completely. But here it was happening.
"Leinas, once we send the declaration of war for the annual war, you will be her aid. You will organize her transportation, protection, provision and her entertainment. I want to test her capabilities and I want her to be as happy as possible. Gods know what she could do to us if we become her enemies.
"As you wish. I am interested in the results as well." Leinas replied and Jircniv nodded.
"Then that is cleared. I will send you tomorrow with the promised contract. You will convince Yuri Yamana to let Arachama help us." Jircniv ordered and Leinas nodded.
After the trip was over Jircniv had only boring people around. It infuriated him. All of his concubines, who everytime managed to give him good and intellectually challenging discussions, were now dull. The papers on his table seemed far too easy for him. Even Fluder seemed much more dull and boring to him.
Though he couldn't complain, as he had managed his biggest goal for today.
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Arachama ←
After the emperor went and Arachama resumed her true form, Arachama walked to the western part of the mansion. She needed two things. One would be a big hug, the other would be lots of cuddles. The visit from this emperor took much out of her. But she was sure it was successful since she managed to make a price, though she had to bargain down. She didn't want to make the empire bankrupt and even said so.
All in all the finances would be safe, for now. But it would probably be advantageous to either invest a part of this money into other enterprises or to build a stronger enterprise themselves. Sadly this empire had one big disadvantage. Arachama had the feeling that all was going smoothly but slowly.
"But slow is smooth and smooth will become fast." Arachama remembered her former husband.
She entered the western part and found a strange scene. There was furniture thrown over itself and the silk was partly torn down. In one corner were an unconscious Kuuderika and Ureirika. Arche bowing over them and weeping. Zesshi meanwhile was looking angrily at Ninya, who was pressed into a wall. Fith meanwhile tried to help Arches attempt to care for the twins. Entoma meanwhile was on the ceiling, seemingly trying to avoid anyone.
Once she entered the ones conscious looked at her and Fith got a shock.
"What. The hell. Is going on?" Arachama asked in surprise, disappointment and rising anger.
Though the anger rose to even higher heights once she saw a broader picture of the situation. It seemed that her face mirrored her emotional rollercoaster, since Arche and Foire sprinted to Arachama and bowed, the unconscious twins on their shoulders and then placed before Arachama.
Arachama checked the twins and saw that they were alive and quite well, except their mental state. She also heard noises from Ninya and Zesshi.
"Now my child, what is going on?" Arachama asked and saw Entoma. She walked behind her Enti and hugged her deeply.
"Why don't you tell me Enti?" Arachama looked at Enti and placed her head on the maids.
"As you wish mother. After Zesshi saw the emperor left she remarked how he was not suited for a strong being like you. I agree with that. But Ninya said that "love knows no boundary" and Zesshi reacted. They both argued and Zesshi wanted to prove a point to Ninya. Ninya meanwhile tried to get away and decided to play with the twins. Zesshi followed and a small fight broke out. Ninya used the spell "Fireball" multiple times while Zesshi got closer. During the fight the twins were knocked unconscious and I fled to the ceiling. How did the appointment work out?" Enti replied and Arachama looked at her.
"It went well. With the situation here on the other hand." Arachama turned her head and looked at Zesshi and Ninya.
"Enti, Arche and Foire. You will take care of the twins and later Ninya. I want them to be able to move tomorrow since Enti, Arche, the twins and I will go to the spa on the 9th floor. These two bad girls will have a fitting punishment." Arachama smiled and Arche and Fith shuddered.
"As you wish" Arche replied and nearly sprinted out of the room, twins under her arms.
"Now you two lovebirds. Since you aren't good girls I have to punish you." Arachama hissed and Zesshi shuddered, seemingly only now realizing the terrible situation she found herself in.
"Sorry mother?" Zesshi tried to smile while Ninya simply pleaded with her eyes.
"You were a threat to the smaller children. You will clean up tomorrow, not only the western part, but all of my mansion. Foire and Fith then can relax while overseeing your progress. You will also not be with us at the spa on the 9th floor." Arachama grinned and Zesshi and Ninya simply nodded in defeat.
"And no fighting, either of you." Arachama hissed and both culprits simply nodded again.
With that cleared Arachama looked around and sighed. So much wasted silk. She also remembered to tell Enti to prepare dinner. She could wait now, since Enti was attending to the knocked out twins.
After a while the twins regained consciousness and Arachama decided they needed a long cuddle. Therefore she let Enti prepare dinner and cuddled with both of them. It even helped, since Arachama felt them calming down.
At dinner the mood was partly great, Arche and the twins asking Enti about the spa and Enti telling fairy tales about the spa. Ninya and Zesshi meanwhile looked defeated, since they were not happy to be excluded from this and had to clean their mess.
After dinner Arachama ordered all to sleep in their room, except the twins since she and them would need more cuddles.
→ Nazarick Ainz-office / Albedo ←
Albedo had a rough day. First she woke up, now officially living in Ainzs room, and then had breakfast. That was the easy part. Afterwards she had to do all the paperwork, since the supreme beings were outside. Not that she hated it, on the contrary. She liked to do this paperwork, since she was the one most capable at this, besides the supreme beings of course. For her it was just that the paper came in faster than ever before. Most likely because many of the subordinates outside want to relay as much information as possible.
This made her work harder, since she needed to read all of those reports and make a summary of those, if one of the supreme beings came back. She also wished to build a better connection with Ainz, sadly this would not work out that fast, since he had to build the "Adventurer Momon" persona up. Arachama also came rarely, being too involved with her operations in the empire. Albedo was now close to the end of the papertrail, when she looked over one of Arachamas requests.
"A day's reservation for the spa on the 9th floor?" Albedo asked herself confused.
"Why would she request it? She could simply take it." Thought Albedo and shook her head with a smile. She simply stamped "approved" on the document and placed it on top of the other documents, when Demiurge came inside. Demiurge had his hands full with more reports, in the form of a big pile. He placed it onto a free place on the desk. Albedo grimaced at him and he simply shrugged.
"I can't do anything about it. These are the reports on my progress with interspecies breeding. Then we have the progress on my experiments regarding the harvest of more albion sheep meat. I also included a progress report in regards to the Re-Estize kingdom. I also managed to get small patches of information. They are separated" Demiurge explained and Albedos frown just hardened.
"I see. How is progress with our master's grand plan?" Albedo asked.
"As far as I can deduce the plan, we are closing in on a small stepstone of the plan. Once we can pull it off we can access more easily any resource the kingdom offers. Sadly the reports on the nobility are much worse than expected. Only very few individuals that are tolerable and only one individual who managed to get the attention of a supreme being. This shows ignorance." Demiurge reported and Albedo simply smiled.
"Their stupidity will be their downfall. Though, aren't we a bit chackled at the moment? Are you sure they want to do it this way?" Albedo asked and Demiurge thought deeply.
After a short while Demiurge pushed his glasses up, making light reflect in it perfectly, and smiled even deeper.
"So that is their plan." He whispered, Albedo simply shrugged.
"Can you explain something to me? Why does a supreme being ask for the spa for one day? Shouldn't a supreme being simply take what they want?" Albedo asked.
"I once heard my creator speak with Shalltears. He said that the supreme beings want to be polite within the tomb of Nazarick. Outside however is a different situation. Maybe this request is part of the etiquette?" Demiurge replied and Albedo hummed.
"Such humble beings." Albedo mused.
"Truly. I also met the one on the reports you gave me. The princess" Demiurge continued.
"And how is she?" Albedo asked.
"She is cunning. At the first time she still had a bit of defiance in her eyes. But lady Arachama sniffed it out by showing her the capital of the Theocracy. She also has some similarities with you." Demiurge teased and waited for Albedo's outburst. It didn't come, but Albedo's aura became much darker and cooler.
"You dare compare me with a human child?" Albedo threatened.
"Tell me. Can't you see the similarities of someone chasing the love of her life and someone that did the same thing and got her goals?" Demiurge asked.
"Fair enough. Though I don't want to be compared. Besides, she was interesting to read about. If I hadn't known her to be a human I would have guessed her a heteromorph. I might visit her one day." Albedo replied.
"Sadly she already has her puppy, since she would be a worthy object to collect." Demiurge grinned and Albedo nodded.
"Not everyone can get the attention of a loved one in that way, right?" Albedo boasted and Demiurge nodded.
"Though lady Arachama did help you a great deal to get his attention that way." Demiurge chimed in and Albedo smiled.
"I hope he comes back soon. I would like to have something more permanent than a ring and my love" Albedo mused and Demiurge nodded.
"An Heir would be great." He said and Albedo smiled.
"We should prepare, since we have a small cooldown. We could rest our figurative muscles and prepare for eventualities." Demiurge sighed.
"Yes. Luckily the Theocracy is gone and we got the inventory of their vaults. It was quite packed." Albedo grinned.
"I wonder how bad it could have gone if the Theocracy would linger around. Now we have an easier game to play." Demiurge agreed and both laughed a bit.
"Lady Arachama and Lord Ainz are truly the supreme beings." Albedo thought while Demiurge took another stack of papers, copies made for him to read, and went through the door.
"When are you back lord Ainz?" Albedo whined and began to work on the pile of paper Demiurge had placed on her desk.
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Arachama ←
Arachama woke up and prepared the right clothing. She chose a summer dress. It had light blue and gray coloring and reached the tip of the abdomen in the back and her lower parts in the front. She would also wear a straw hat with a baby blue ribbon. A parasol with blue and purple coloring was fastened on her back. She also had taken a bikini top, blue, and swimming trunks. The trunks would reach the tip of her abdomen and cover the front a bit, it felt more like a skirt.
She also got the clothing for the children coming with her. Arche got a bikini similar to Arachama, while her sisters got a swimsuit. Arche got a summer dress with the colors red and blue while the twins got blue and white and red and white respectively. Enti decided to not wear swim clothes, as she disliked water. Enti asked Arachama to serve her while Arachama would bathe.
Arachama also organized a few toys and some things to help her teach the girls how to swim.
"I will definitely not need it myself right? Can I even swim with this body?" Arachama asked herself and decided to test it out.
At breakfast the mood was a mix of excitement and depression. Today it was a buffet with multiple sausages, cheese and more. All were seated and ate, when Arachama remembered something.
"Zesshi and Ninya. Since you will be cleaning the mansion today and I got the others' clothing, I decided to get you something cute. I ordered Foire to get you some as well and get it fitted. Foire please bring them in." Arachama said and Foire nodded, a small smile on her face.
After a short while she came back with two maid outfits, tailored to fit an arachne.
Both looked surprised and not happy, but Arachama helped them nonetheless to get into their new clothing.
The new dress covered their chest, even though it was a bit pronounced. The lower part covered all of their abdomen and legs, only leaving the tips. They wore tight socks over their legs and a headband with a white edge.
"You will wear those for the rest of today, you will also clean and keep it" Arachama grinned and Zesshi and Ninya simply nodded.
"Good. Now then. Foire, I will leave with my children, please test our new maids." Arachama said and Foire nodded.
"It will be done as you wish. Please, Zesshi and Ninya, show the proper respect" Foire replied.
"As you wish, lady Arachama" Ninya said while Zesshi looked flabbergasted.
"Do I need to repeat myself?" Foire asked and Zesshi shook her head.
"No Foire. I will do as asked by lady Arachama." Zesshi replied, her face almost glimmered red.
Arachama stroked the heads of Ninya and Zesshi.
"I hope you will understand that I don't like infighting between this mansion's occupants. I also hope that you will get closer." Arachama smiled and the casted "Gate" to the 9th floor.
Once there she led the whole group towards the spa resort within Nazarick. Arche and her sisters were ecstatic and looked around. They took in every detail they could. Arachama hoped to make it a trip without hiccups, which worked out fine.
Once they entered the changing room, they dressed in their swimsuits and helped the twins to get into theirs. Once all were in their respective suites Arachama had a hard time to not cuddle them to death, since they looked cute in her eyes.
After that they went into the spa reservoir and the children were stunned, Arachama had to fight to not show her surprise as well.
Big pools with water of different temperatures. The floor was wooden and some statues, which Arachama suspected to be golems, resided over the spa. She also saw that some pools were there for sport, while others were to relax. Arachama smiled inwards and Mini-Aarachama, in a swimsuit on a beach, was looking smugly.
"Ara ara. First we will bring our stuff to the lockers. Then we will go to a sport-pool. I want us to learn how to swim." Arachama soothed and used a chirpy voice.
"Yes mother." The twins smiled and ran towards the locker. Arche stayed behind and looked at Arachama.
"Can I help you?" Arachama asked.
"Can I hug you, mother?" Arche asked and Arachama simply scooped her up.
"Ara ara. Let's move, though I guess you like it now?" Arachama asked and Arche simply cuddled into the arms of Arachama.
Once they placed their belongings into the locker, Arachama led them to a pool, which was just deep enough for them to stand, but deep enough to swim. She hopped into the water and helped the twins and Arche inside. She soon realized that they got an easy grip on swimming. It warmed Arachamas heart when she saw how arche, Kuuderika and Ureirika swam and played in the water.
After a while Arachama tried to swim herself and felt that it nearly came natural. She went with her children and they played together, until all their stomachs grumbled.
"Mother, I can get us something to eat. But please stay at the edge of the pool." Enti said and Arachama nodded.
She guided the children towards the edge of the pool and they played a bit with a ball. She saw how they enjoyed their time there. After Enti had prepared lunch, she led them to a separated table within the reservoir and they ate and relaxed.
Afterwards they played again and forgot the time, when Enti walked to the edge of the pool.
"Mother? We have nearly dinner-time. Would you like to eat here or should we move to the mansion and eat there?" Enti asked.
"We will eat here after we change, then we move back?" Arachama asked and Enti simply nodded.
Arachama and the others played a bit more. Afterwards they learned why they should always plan their future spa-days. They needed an exorbitant amount of time to dry their abdomen. But all were happy, since it was worth the fun they had.
Afterwards the group changed into their summer dresses and walked to the place where they ate dinner. The dinner was roast meat with a nice sauce and potato. It tasted delicious and Arachama saw that she wasn't alone with that sentiment.
"Now then. Enti, get here please" Arachama asked and Enti walked to her, only to be scooped up.
After that she used "Gate" to Nazarick-mansion.
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Yuri Alpha ←
Yuri Alpha, or Yamana, had a set of orders for her. After she had done her paperwork she looked at the orders. Enti had brought them in an envelope. She also relayed that she wasnt to open them until she had done her duties of the day.
Once she opened them she saw that she had to look after the two unruly children. She immediately knew who lady Arachama meant and knew that lady Arachama wanted the mansion spotless before she returned. Everyone at this point had gotten aware of what had transpired in the western part.
Yuri walked out of her office and then into the foyer. Since it was only noon she hoped that they would be in the timeframe. She found Foire a bit later in the western part of the mansion. Foire simply looked to the floor, slightly ashamed.
"What is it, Foire?" Yuri asked.
"Ahh. Yuri Alpha. They both didn't even start cleaning and are just glaring at each other. Could you help me please?" Foire asked. Yuri simply nodded.
She walked to the room of Ninya, which was nearly destroyed. Both glaring at each other. Yuri simply sighed and began to place her glasses further up her nose.
"Now , now. Why aren't you doing your duty and cleaning the mess you created?" Yuri asked with a stern voice.
"Since I am not the one who started it." Both shouted and Yuri held up a hand.
"That is exactly what got you into this mess. While you are glaring at each other and getting further punished if you don't do your duty, the other children will have an amazing day. Wouldn't you rather place your differences aside and start the cleaning and repairs?" Yuri asked and both looked to the floor.
They looked sheepishly at each other for long minutes until Zesshi extended one arm.
"Sorry for getting it physical." Zesshi whispered sincerely while Ninya shook her hand.
"Sorry for provoking you too much." Ninya replied and both looked at each other. Yuri smiled and snapped her finger.
"Now that you have gotten over your problem. You should probably start cleaning, since lady Arachama will be back around dinner." The faces of both were now riddled with fear.
"It is already noon. We can't get all of this done till dinner." Ninya gasped.
"Now, now. Foire might help you if you are nice and ask her nicely. But don't make her do all of the work." Yuri smiled and both nodded and thanked her.
Afterwards Yuri got back to her study and reread a few notes from her lessons.
Close before dinner, Fith had prepared dinner in the eastern part. Yuri also ordered Zesshi and Ninya to partake in dinner. Once dinner was over both asked her to control their work. While both waited hopefully within the eastern part, Yuri walked through the rooms. The western part was like new. The foyer was cleaned and the northern part was well done. After that she looked over the eastern part and saw that only four rooms were left.
"Nicely done so far. There are only four rooms left. The two cellars, the kitchen and my office." Yuri smiled and Ninya and Zesshi nodded. She decided to oversee their effort for the rest of the evening.
They went directly and cleaned the kitchen and Yuri's office. The cellar took much more time. They managed just in time to get out of the cellar to see the ominous "Gate" appear in the foyer. Fith, Foire, Yuri and the two arachne went, as far as possible, on their knees. Arachama and the others appeared inside the mansion.
"Good evening, lady Arachama." All of them greeted the lady of the house and Arachama smiled.
"Yuri, did they do a good job, or would you advise them to repeat their effort tomorrow?" Arachama asked Yuri, who simply looked at them
"I think they learned their lesson." Yuri replied.
"That is great. You can change back now" Arachama said and looked at them.
"Ehm, mother?" Ninya asked shyly.
"Ara ara. Calling me mother? What is it you wish for?" Arachama was visibly shaken by emotions.
"I wanted to ask, if I could learn more as maid from Yuri, Fith and Foire?" Ninya asked and Arachama looked at her.
"If you wish. Ask Yuri for further instructions. I will get more maid-outfits for you. Can't have a maid running around with only one dress." Arachama smiled.
Afterwards all of the children, except Ninya, went to the western part.
"Yuri, could you help me become a maid?" Ninya asked and Yuri simply nodded.
"You will transfer into my wing tomorrow. Prepare to stand up early tomorrow. Tomorrow we begin to teach you, starting with manners." Yuri smiled and Ninya nodded.
Yuri prepared the first lessons and couldn't wait for the new maid to learn them.
→ Nazarick / Ainz and Albedo ←
Ainz had a turbulent time since he was thrown into this world. Working as adventurer and ruler of the tomb was cumbersome, though he certainly learned to relish the profits of the latter role.
The Lizardmen were no match for Cocytus and he had mowed through their army with ease. Though he pleaded for the resurrection of them. All planned of course, cough. Cocytus would now rule the Lizardmen without fear as a tool.
The scroll situation was solved by Demiurge, though he and Arachama didn't want to know how. Though Ainz had the suspicion that Arachama at least partially knew how it was done.
The small fights between Shalltear and Albedo had nearly completely ceased to exist, since Arachama had forced certain situations to evolve. Ainz didn't mind of course, since he learned to simply relish his future wife. The feeling of shame was washed away when Arachama told him to take action upon his decisions. He had changed the text and Arachama told him to make the text worthy as true as possible. Albedo and Ainz, though it was harder for the former than for the latter, decided to marry when the tomb would be much more secure.
Shalltear was an emotional mess. In her eyes she had betrayed Nazarick and then lost to Albedo. She saw it as eternal punishment and Ainz simply sighed at that. He needed a way to make Shalltear proud again. He already had an idea, though he would need to talk to Albedo and Arachama for this, since it needed more planning.
Sebas and Solution were gathering information. While Ainz knew he could read the "Spider Papers", he felt that they were too detailed and that Sebas knew to only report the most important news. Thus he barely read reports, since he was too exhausted when he came home. Albedo did not help in that regard, since she tackled and then threw him into their bed once he walked into the tomb. He simply had no time to read the reports from either Arachama, Sebas and Demiurge.
Ainz also realized that he had changed drastically. He desired the women of the tomb, at least a few of them. He also felt more relaxed. He tried to imagine himself left alone within the tomb and broke the attempt off immediately, since he disliked the mental image. He saw himself as shy and playing along with no relief in sight.
Ainz was slowly sneaking his way to his office when he looked around a corner. He opened the door and went inside. He breathed in until he felt an aura behind him. It felt like a mixture of love, lust and anger. A dangerous combination. He turned and saw Albedo before him. She simply pointed to the desk, where a "Doppelganger Ring" was placed and he sighed. Then Albedo smiled and winked to someone outside.
Shalltear came inside, looking to the floor.
"Now Shalltear. We talked about it. I am the top. But I will tolerate you for tonight." Albedo hissed and held her nose a bit higher. Shalltear did not grumble though, since she had dreamt of this for a long time, and Ainz shimmered green.
He resigned himself, placed the ring on his finger, turned into an incubus and decided to take both girls for the night. All his fears about taking advantage were gone the moment Arachama threw him to the wolves of the tomb.
AN: Thanks for reading to the end. I hope you enjoyed and please review the chapter.
I know it isn't much from Ainz in this fanfiction, but I think it fits a bit around here. Discussions between Arachama and Ainz with more depth might be more possible in the far future.
The reports are certainly important in the near future, though that will certainly answer the question of a review.
It might be a bit of a cliche for Ninya to become a maid, though it might be more interesting and easier in the future.
I can't wait for Christmas and have already planned something small.
Till next time.
