Mystic Falls Hospital

Same Day-Earlier

Damon met Dr. Fell in their usual spot near the loading dock. He gave her a few vials of his blood and got a cooler of hospital blood.

Meredith pushed a strand of her brown hair behind her ear, saying, "Haven't heard from you much. How are the twins?"

Damon replied, "Ah, good. They seem healthy, but Julian is showing some signs of magic. Actually, that's the understatement of the year. He can apparently communicate with animals. Ever hear of that before?"
"Animals? No, that's a new one. Tell Elijah I'll stop by to check on them soon. It's just been pretty crazy here. How about that quake last night? And that storm! The hospital was a wreck-everything went haywire," Meredith explained, indicating some construction vans.

"Yeah, it was weird. Look, I know you're busy. I'll see you when you come over," Damon said, giving Meredith one of his charming smiles.

She nodded and took out her hospital beeper as it went off.

"Duty calls," Meredith said, walking away. Damon took a moment to admire the view. After Elena, he hadn't been interested in other women...but it had been a while.

Before Damon pulled away from the hospital grounds, he saw Matt and Tyler coming out of the visitor exit. He slowed down.
He yelled, "What are you two numbnuts doing here? Are you supposed to be in school?"

Tyler gave him the finger, but Matt jogged over to the car. Tyler threw up his hands in frustration and then followed.
"Damon, Vicki took off. The hospital can't find her. She's sick, man," Matt said. "Can you help us?"

"Vicki, your sister?" Damon asked, not sure how he could help.

"Yeah, don't tell me you never checked out her ass," Tyler snarked.

"Shut up, Lockwood," Damon said. To Matt, Damon asked, "How long has she been missing?"
"Since last night during the storm," Matt said. "I don't know what to do."
"Did you call the Sheriff?" Damon asked, trying not to be sarcastic, but failing.

"Um, yeah, I think they already did. She was under a psychiatric hold for hurting herself in rehab," Matt explained.

Damon's phone buzzed, it was Liz Forbes.

"Oh shit, this isn't good," Damon said, picking up the call.

"Liz, I'm with Lockwood and Matt now," Damon said. "Yeah...Okay..." Tyler cocked his head, trying to listen in on the call. He did miss certain things about being a hybrid, super hearing was one of them.

"Oh, okay. I'll head over there now," Damon replied into the phone.

Matt asked, "What is it? Did they find her?"

"About that," Damon started. "Um...I think you better get in the car."

Salvatore Boarding House

Morning

Nadia walked part of the length of the property. It was huge. She had always wanted to live in a beautiful place like this, with her mother. Now that she was, it wasn't all she had dreamt of. Katherine did and said so many things that she didn't like or agree with. And Katherine didn't seem to care a wit about what Nadia thought. Katherine seemed mainly concerned with her appearance, herself, and men. Didn't she care about her daughter, Nadia wondered, lost in her thoughts.

On her way back, she noticed Harper strolling along. Nadia walked over to where the slight African American man was pausing to look at something on the ground. It was a rock.

"Hey, Pearl finally let you out of the house," Nadia joked in her heavy slavic accent.

"Oh, Miss Pearl don't keep me in," Harper said defensively, looking up at the strikingly beautiful woman. He let the colorful rock in his hand fall to the ground. There were so many pretty things here.

Nadia smiled, "Oh, I was just jesting with you, Harper."

"Oh," Harper said, abashed. "I see."

"It's a a lovely day out. We should try to come out here more often," Nadia commented.

"Yes, ma'am, I mean, yes, Nadia," Harper corrected. "I do want to, but there is so much to do. And so much to learn."
Nadia nodded, "I can help you with your letter, if you like. I saw you pouring over the books in the library. You know, everyone knows how to read now. The rich, the poor, they learn very young as children, but you are not too old yet."

Harper's face lit up. He responded, "I would love that, Nadia. I always wanted to learn, but of course, I was not allowed to. When I fled and joined the war, there was no time. Then, Miss Pearl found me nearly dead on the battlefield and saved me. A few days later, we was locked in that dreadful tomb. Now, I am here. God must have a plan for me."

Nadia chuckled, "I know nothing of God, but I would be delighted to help you. But I'm afraid I told Pearl I would watch over the others while they go shopping. Would you excuse me?"
"Of course, ma'am," Harper said politely. "In truth, I think I am supposed to attend to that trip. I have not been out yet..."
Nadia said that Harper was anxious.

"It will be different. There are very fast motor cars that can hurt you. Be mindful and stay out of the roads. If you get overwhelmed, just shut your eyes and take a deep breath," Nadia advised.

"I shall," Harper said, stepping away. "I will think of it as another adventure."
"Yes, come on. We should return to the house," Nadia coaxed. "My mother loves to shop so you may wish to take some refreshments before you leave."

The pair walked back to the house and found there were several new visitors awaiting.

Mikaelson Mansion

Same Day

Attic

After School

Enzo looked up at the python and cringed.

"Ah, so I went downstairs to get me a pint a blood and saw Aaron and Julian outside. Julian begged us to help him get the snake up to the attic," Enzo confessed, shuffling his feet. His English accent got heavier when he was nervous and he was very nervous now. It was difficult to concentrate with Elijah staring at him so intently.

"It's alright, Enzo," Klaus said. "You're not in trouble here. We just need to know what happened."

Enzo breathed out in relief.

"Aye, the bloody truth is that I did not want to do it," Enzo went on. "But the boy's eyes...somehow compelled me. I was thinking to myself, 'Don't do it!" and then I was doing it. I swear, it was mighty strange," Enzo said, shifting his attention to the snake which was moving now. I am sorry."

Klaus patted him on the back, saying, "It's okay. Go back to whatever it was you were doing."

"No, Enzo, go finish your lessons," Elijah said. "I will be done to check on you shortly."

"Yes, Elijah," Enzo said, giving Klaus a grateful look.

The brothers waited until they were alone again.

"Mind control of vampires?" Elijah hissed. "Believe me if Julian could do that on me, he would have a virtual zoo in this house."

Klaus paced and looked up at the rafters.

"Yes, but maybe it won't work on us," Klaus noted. "At least the rodent issue will be taken care of."
Elijah let out a rare laugh and Klaus joined him.

"Do you smell something else?" Elijah said after gaining control of himself.

"Aye, something...spicy?" Klaus started to walk to the other part of the attic when they heard arguing.

"Rebekah and Kol!" Elijah noted heavily. "He's supposed to me in his room."

"And she is not supposed to be feeding at school. I think they both need a damn good switching," Klaus snapped.

"Yes, I need to speak to Julian," Elijah said. "And you are in no state to whip either one. Ask Finn if he will take care of it."

Klaus nodded, "Good thinking, Brother. I need to gather up those things for Kol. Maybe when he is working with Damon on his magic, they can do something with them. In all honesty, I have no idea what most of those dark object can do."

"Probably nothing good," Elijah said, chuckling again, as they descended the stairs.

Klaus eyed him, "You are taking this well. The children have been a good influence on you."

Elijah shut the door firmly, thinking he needed to get a lock for it.

"Yes, but Indy asked me when they can do to school. I need to see to that," Elijah noted. "It will do them some good to be around other children."

"Yes," Klaus agreed, going to settle the fighting and then find Finn.

Rebekah's Room

"You thrashed me and then told them!" Rebekah screamed. "Now, we're both in for it again. You bloody dolt, I should tear out your heart."

Klaus came in and found Rebekah brandishing a silver letter open at Kol.

"Give me that, Sister," Klaus said firmly. "And Kol, you were to be in your room."
Kol held up his hands, "She came in and started shouting at me. I shall need to purchase some ear plugs. Nik, tell her to-! Or never mind, you will just lie. I am not speaking to either one of you."

Kol stomped back to his own room and Klaus silently counted to ten.

"What are you doing?" Rebekah demanded. "Praying?"
"Nay, I am counting and trying to rein in my temper. You might try it sometime," Klaus said.

"Or I can rip out his stupid throat and feel a bit better," Rebekah snarked, tossing her mostly blond, but now pink streaked hair.

Klaus bit his lip.

"You should not have fed off of that boy at school," Klaus started evenly. "Kol had every right to correct you on the spot."

"Did Kol tell you that he drank my blood? I was famished," Rebekah pointed out.

"No, he did not," Klaus said tiredly. "I have heard the children say, or rather one of their programs on the television, that 'Two wrongs do not make a right.'"

"Drivel. Can I go? Bonnie is going to pick me up. We have a study group tonight at the Grill," Rebekah said, her blue eyes narrow.

"You are not going anywhere. You said here and think about what you could have done," Klaus determined.

"Nik, no," Rebekah pleaded. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have fed from Matt, but he's a friend. I don't think he'd mind."

Klaus massaged his throbbing temples and said, "I cannot deal with this right now. Last night was a long night for us and I've barely had a wink of sleep. Stay here and I am going to see if Finn is available."

"Finn! Are you fucking serious?" Rebekah scoffed.

Klaus vamped to his little sister and turned her and swatted her hard across the seat of her tight jeans.

Smack! Smack! Smack!

"Mind yourself, Sister," Klaus warned. "There is more of that if you can't be mature about this!"

"Fuck off, Nik," Rebekah yelled. "That hurt!"

Rebekah rubs her backside. He was the strongest of them, but normally didn't swat so hard.

"Stay in this room," Klaus said sternly, walking out and shutting the door.

***
Finn's Quarters

"A switch?" Finn asked, surprised.

"Yes, we usually don't use that on them, but I think it is deserved," Klaus said tiredly. "Kol attacked Ric and usurped his authority. Rebekah fed at school and could have hurt this human boy. I think a good dose of the hairbrush impede their healing and then a few swipes of the stick to remind them to behave in the future. That will be a first for Rebekah, for sure. We've always spoiled her. Plus, she is getting quite the mouth on her. I'm going to get you a bar of soap if she curses you out like she did me."
"Fine. I remember Mother sent me to cut my own switch a few times," Finn recalled. "I hated that damn willow tree."

"You? You hardly even got thrashed, I mean, compared to the rest of us. Of course, many of my spankings were from when you told on me," Klaus commented.

"That's because I did not wish to get a striped behind myself," Finn laughed. "Mother always made me look after all of you, especially when she was off with Ayana. I thought they were doing magic, now I wonder if they were day drinking."
"Day drinking? Ha, you are catching on to modern life fast...Or maybe just watching too much tv." Klaus paused, "In all seriousness, you had a lot of responsibility on you as the eldest. I don't think we realized that. Sorry I was always such a pest."

Finn found his pocket knife on his bureau.

"Oh, you were not as troublesome as Kol," Finn laughed. "He was always getting into some mischief. I know my arse would be in trouble if I did not tell Mother the truth. I could never lie to her."

"Kol still is a pest, but I suppose he is right about the dark objects," Klaus admitted.

"Yes, he was. Go fetch me the hairbrush," Finn said, putting the pocket knife in his back pocket. "And that soap."
"Aye," Klaus said easily. He planned to take a nap. He was grateful that Finn was taking this on.

Finn went to tell Rebekah and Kol to go cut their own switches outside. He ordered them both into the corner in their pajamas after. The corner was effective on him and he thought it might focus them a bit. They both balked, but he was stern and brooked no arguing. He met Niklaus at the door.

"We shall take care of this now," Finn said, gesturing for Klaus to go back inside the room.

"What? I thought you were going to punish Kol and Rebekah!" Klaus exclaimed.

"You misbehaved, too. Now, in or I shall send you to cut a switch also," Finn warned.

Klaus cringed, "No, please, Finn. Finn, I'll take my punishment, but no switch."

Finn ushered in Klaus, taking the wrapped bar of soap from his hand and the magical hairbrush.

"You aren't going to stop out my mouth, too, are you?" Klaus joked.

Finn gave him a wry look, commenting, "You did lie, but no. I will need you to instruct me on how to do it, though. Back in our day, the only punishment we got was a hiding."

Klaus winced, "Oh, Mother was good at assigning extra chores. I cleaned that damn pigsty out more times than I wish to remember."

"Loki the pig did not mind," Finn teased. "But there were many Lokis, were there not?"
"Aye, poor fellows died and were magically reborn after each festival," Klaus said, as Finn pointed to Klaus' trousers. He nodded and took off his pants.

"Drawers, too," Finn said.

Klaus wanted to argue, but just bit his lip and removed his underwear. He was grateful that his dress shirt covered his backside.

"The shirt, too," Finn ordered.

"Finn! I'll be stark naked," Klaus pointed out.

"I do not aim to fight with your shirt. Take it off, Niklaus. Every time I need remind you, that is an extra mind over my lap," Finn shared.

"Bloody hell," Klaus muttered, taking off his shirt and undershirt. He still wore his socks and felt even more silly. Klaus was proud of his sculpted body, but felt ridiculous being nude. What if Sage walked in?

"You can leave those on," Finn said, sitting on his bed and patting his lap.

"Gee, thanks," Klaus snapped.

"Oh, you might want to lock the door. Sage is with the twins, but I suppose you do not want her seeing this," Finn chuckled.

"Ha, ha," Klaus said. "No, I do not. She might pick the more handsome brother!"

"Keep it up and you shall be shifting on your seat for supper tonight," Finn retorted.

Klaus locked the door and grunted as he placed himself over Finn's lap. Finn handed him an embroidered throw pillow to hold onto and locked his leg over Klaus'.

"Is that necessary?" Klaus asked anxiously.

"I think it might be," Finn said, tapping the flat side of the sturdy brush on Klaus' right cheek.

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

Finn snapped the brush down in the same spot and Klaus tried to kick his legs.

"Ow! You could give a guy some warning!" Klaus yelled, but Finn was now paddling Klaus' left check in the same manner.

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

"You will *whack* sit down with *whack* Kol and *whack* apologize," Finn said, punctuating his lecture with strong cracks of the brush.

Klaus raised his head as the onslaught and then buried it in the pillow.

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

"We cannot trust *whack* you when *whack* you lie!" Finn said, continuing to spank hard and fast.

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

Klaus couldn't answer but gasped an "Oh" with each swat. Finn was now paddling all over his lower cheeks with the hated brush. It smarted and burned terribly.

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

Klaus felt tears soaking into the pillow. He yelled, "I-I w-won't l-lie, Finn! Ohhhhhhh!"

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

"Good, because we need you to be trustworthy and trust us," Finn continued, the brush dancing all over Klaus' red and turning it a bright pink. His hybrid healing could not keep pace with the magic in the brush. He was really feeling it.

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

Finn lessened the force of the whacks and slowed down. He needed to make sure Niklaus understood.

"Kol is more hurt *whack* than *whack* angry," Finn reported. "He loves *whack* you and *whack* feels neglected. *whack* You need *whack* to show that *whack* you trust him *whack*, too."

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

"I-I, awwww, willlll," Klaus said, finally breaking into sobs. Klaus clutched onto the pillow harder, almost tearing it to shreds.

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap!

"Good," Finn said, now only swatting after a pause of a few seconds.

Crack!

Crack!

"Then, I think we are done here," Finn said, placing the brush on the bed spread and unlocking his leg. He rubbed Klaus' back.

"I-I'll s-speak to K-Kol," Klaus sniffed. "I w-want to be t-trusted again."

Finn helped Klaus up and offered him a handkerchief for his face.

"And you shall be. I know you have been wrapped up in Damon, of course. But please don't be so quick to discount Kol's feelings. Yes, he can be a pest, but he is our pest," Finn said gently, as Klaus stood and tried to rub his backside.

"Whew, Finn, that w-was bracing," Klaus stammered. "I think I s-shall need sit on a cushion for supper, as you said."

Finn laughed, as Klaus eased up his briefs carefully.

"No cushion permitted. You take this as a reminder that we are all beholden to one another," Finn said quietly.

"And who are you beholden to?" Klaus quipped.

"You, Elijah, and of course, Sage!" Finn intoned. "If I ever disrespected that woman, the hiding I just gave you would look like a pat. Now, come here."
Finn stood and embraced Klaus as he stood in his white briefs. Klaus tried not to reach back to rub, but failed. Finn laughed and gave him one last pat.

"I mean it, Niklaus. We all love you, but trust is earned. Show us that you respect us enough be trustful," Finn said, pulling back and looking his brother in the eyes.

"Yes, Finn," Klaus said. "Now, I am more ready for a nap than ever. I'll show you how to do the soap and then I'll retire."
"Good plan," Finn said as he followed Klaus into the bathroom.

Rebekah's Room

Rebekah and Kol went out and argued as they cut the switches. They were instructed to get three each.

"Here, I'll strip it for you," Kol said, taking the knife.

Rebekah lowered her head.

"Thanks, Kol. Um, I guess I'm sorry about all this," Rebekah said in a low voice. "I know I was out of line."
Kol used the pen knife to remove all the nods and bark from the slender branch.
"Yes, but I shouldn't have drank your blood or tried to vex you in class. I'm sorry, too," Kol replied.

"Did you really strip and spank Ric?" Rebekah asked, looking around. Sage, Julian, and Indy were playing a distance away.

"Yeah," Kol said sheepishly. "I'm going to catch it for that. But Ric didn't think it was very funny."

Rebekah took her switches and said, "No, it wasn't. And that stuff with Jane Austen? Clearly, she wrote a lot based on me, but no one cares about that now. We have to move on."

"Ha, we'll see how you feel in English class," Kol smirked, starting back for the house.

"That scene where Marianne sprains her ankle...That happened to me. I've been secretly engaged more than anyone in history. Of course, in the novel, no one gets murdered, but clearly it was my story," Rebekah fumed.

"Yes, yes," Kol said, as they walked up the stairs. "Don't argue with Finn. It will just cause him to add on more. Good luck, Bekah."

"I never fucking argue," Rebekah seethed, thinking about how her friend stole her story. She wanted to attend Oxford, but Elijah wouldn't let him. Damn, it just wasn't fair.

***
Rebekah's Room

Rebekah played on her cell phone as she tried not to look at the switches on the dresser. It was just a threat, she mused. Even the time she ran off to Italy to get married, she didn't get a switching. That was more a punishment for Kol.

Finn came in after knocking.

"I thought I told you to be in the corner in your pajamas," Finn said, his face growing more serious. If that were possible.

"Ughhh," Rebekah groaned. "Fine, you want me to change. I will."

Rebekah angrily wiggled out of her tight jeans and then glared at Finn.

"Very well," Finn started, but Rebekah was not done.

"Wait, I need to be in my pajamas," Rebekah snarled. She tore off her blouse and stood there in her pink bra and panty set.

She started to take off her bra, but Finn growled, "That is enough. You are here for a spanking, not to throw yet another tantrum. Leave it."
Rebekah huffed again, stomped her foot, and folded her arms across her chest.

"Fine, but I do not throw tantrums," Rebekah argued.

Finn ignored that, but pulled out the straight backed dresser chair.

"There are many times in the past, I should have been there for you," Finn began. "I regret that, but I do not think it is too late to set things straight. Over my lap, please."

Rebekah thought about her new friends at school. Surely, none of them had to suffer through this indignity.

"This is fucking absurd," Rebekah shrieked as Finn lost patience and grabbed her arm. He placed her over his lap and quickly hooked his right leg over her pale legs.

"Finn! Don't!" Rebekah whined. "Kol and I already made up. Goddammit!"

"Your language is absurd," Finn remarked.

"You want to hear bad language!" Rebekah screeched, letting out a stream of cursing in several languages that Finn did not rightly understand.

"Where did you learn such deplorable manners? Not at home, I shall tell you that," Finn said, taking the brush from his pant pocket and slapping it down across her panties.

"Owww, fuck," Rebekah moaned, she pounded the floor with her left fist.

"I brought a bar of soap with me. We shall wash those filthy words out of your vocabulary," Finn noted with a flurry of smacks that had Rebekah crying loudly.

Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!

Rebekah howled as Finn also landed several smacks on the top of each thigh and a bit lower. He wanted to make sure she didn't heal there for her switching.

Finn spanked Rebekah for several minutes until her bottom cheeks that peeked out of her underpants were red and swollen. Then, he stood her up.

"Into the bathroom for your soaping," Finn directed. He left the hairbrush on the dresser and picked up a switch.

"Nooooooo," Rebekah sobbed, hopping up and down.

Finn turned her and cracked her upper thighs with the switch. It left a welt that healed quickly, but it got her moving.

Finn took the heavy bar of Life-Buoy soap that Niklaus had given him and found a washcloth under the sink.

"Put your hands on the sink," Finn directed as he unwrapped the bar and let the hot water run. He held the bar under the stream as Rebekah danced from foot to foot, as she bent over the sink.

"Please, you s-spanked me r-really hard," Rebekah whinged, looking at the now sudsy bar. It was an ugly orange color and the smell was even worse.

"You will not feed from others at school, nor will you speak to others the way you have been speaking," Finn said evenly, soaking the bar in a mug of hot water, after lathering up the washcloth. "Open your mouth."

"Is that carbolic? I'm going to throw up," Rebekah sniffled, shaking her head.

Finn picked up the switch that he had leaned against the marble counter. He was glad this bathroom was so large. It would give him plenty of room to swing.

"No!" Rebekah said, lifting from the sink and covering her pantied behind.

"Move your hands or I am going to switch them," Finn warned.

Rebekah sobbed and opened her mouth. Finn took the opportunity to wash out her mouth, tongue, and lips with the soap rag as she gagged and fussed. He took the orange bar out of the mug and said, "Now, open. You will keep this in your mouth during your switching. Drop it and you will get more licks."

Rebekah finally opened her mouth and let Finn push her back down to bend over the sink.

Swish!

Finn cracked the switch against her underpants, catching some of her exposed skin as Rebekah clamped down on the bar of soap with her teeth. The taste was medicinal and harsh. She gagged and tried not to swallow but did a little as the switch lit into her behind again.

Swish!

Swish!

Finn lowered the cracks and worked his way down to above her knees as Rebekah's tears dripped down her face and mingled with the soap suds.

Swish!

Thwap! Thwap! Thwap!

Rebekah clutched onto the sink for dear life once Finn returned to whipping her bottom. Thwap! Thwap! Thwap! He was cracking down harder and her thin panties did little to protect her from the sting.

Thwap! Thwap! Thwap!

"If we have to do this again, you will not have the protection of your drawers. Do you understand, young lady?" Finn asked, leaning over to apply a few more licks as Rebekah lifted up her feet and wiggled.

"YESSSH, FINN," Rebekah tried, almost losing the soap.

Thwap! Thwap! Thwap!

Crack!

Finn landed a last hard swipe across the fullest part of her bottom before breaking the switch in half. He wiped off her face with a towel and then led Rebekah back into her bedroom by the arm.

Finn tossed the branch into the fire place and then moved the chair to the corner.

"You will do your corner time now," Finn directed, sitting Rebekah in the chair. "Do not move. When I come back, I will let you rinse. I need to see to your brother."

Rebekah squirmed and wiggled as she was sat in the chair. Her sore bottom and thighs feeling like they were on fire. Shifting did not help as Finn had covered her entire rear.

Finn removed the bar of soap from her mouth and tossed it into the trash. He hated to waste things, but there were bite marks in it and it smelled awful.

Now, he had to deal with Kol. Just in case, he brought the remaining two switches as well as the hairbrush. For what he did to his teacher, Finn did not plan to go easy on him.
