Non pairing prompts of Klaus and Damon for DarkAngel11278 and Chanelle (AO3) and someone also requested Klaus sleep in Damon's room. (Sorry, I'm having trouble keeping up with the prompts.)
"Home! That was what they meant, those caressing appeals, those soft touches wafted through the air, those invisible little hands pulling and tugging, all one way."

Mystic Falls Police Station
Afternoon
Mason Lockwood saw his reflection briefly and yanked open the heavy glass door of the police station. He had done the wash yesterday, but forgot to take his clothes out of the dryer. His blue plaid shirt looked rumpled, compared to the officer who was sitting at the reception desk.
Mason smiled awkwardly, he hadn't been here since he got busted for a drunk and disorderly charge years ago.
"Help you, sir?" the office asked, looking bored.
"Ah yeah, I'm here to see Sheriff Forbes. Mason Lockwood," Mason said, signing in on the clipboard. "I had called."
"Oh yeah, she's waiting for you, sir. Go on back. It's-," the man started to explain.
"I know," Mason said grimly. "Thanks."
Mason walked a short distance down the hall and found Liz at her desk. A big, tall deputy was leaning against a file cabinet.
"Hey, Mason. Welcome back to town," Liz said warmly, rising from her chair. She indicted the other man, with a hand gesture."George Singerman, meet Mason Lockwood. He's the Mayor's little brother."
The men shook hands and George took his coffee cup and headed out for patrol.
"He's new," Liz explained, shutting the door. "From Richmond. You said it was urgent on the phone."
Mason looked down and saw the pictures of Liz and Caroline on her desk.
"Um, I'm not sure what's going on, but my brother and Carol have been MIA. She called and asked me to look after Tyler, but I haven't heard from them since. Do you know where they are?" Mason asked, picking up a frame and then settling it back down.
Liz bit her lip and indicated that Mason should sit. He did.
"Ah, about that," Liz said with a frown. "I know you had some kind of falling out with Charles, but you are still a Founding Family member. I guess you have the right to know."
"That sounds ominous," Mason said, shifting in his chair. "Are they in danger?"
Liz pulled out a file from her desk.
"In short, yes. You know that the Council is also tasked with keeping the town safe, right? But did you know from what?" Liz asked, flipping out the folder slowly.
"Vampires," Mason said carefully.
"Yes," Liz confirmed. "Usually, when a member is inducted, we give them a run down about the real town history. Though, most family members are aware, only the Council activity defends the town. Had you stayed, you would have received an invitation."
"I did, but I threw it away and took off. I figured that I had my inheritance and I was free after the old man died. Didn't realize how fast I would blow it. Charles warned me, but I was a stupid ass kid. I thought he was trying to control me. Make me like him...Liz, what happened to them?"
Mason was worried now, he felt himself sweating.
Liz pushed the file towards him.
"The Augustines happened. Charles and Carol didn't think we were doing enough to keep an eye on things. After a few more animal attacks a few years back, they joined a secret organization that actively hunted and studied vampires," Liz began. "I only knew about it because Liz told me before she left. She said if they didn't come back that I should give this to you."
Mason picked up the file.
"This is all their financial information! Bank accounts, passwords, everything," Mason exclaimed.
"Yes. Carol said that they had gotten word that their names were leaked. To make things worse, the Mikaelsons are involved," Liz shared, looking uncomfortable.
"Shit," Mason said, putting the file back on the desk. "They didn't even say goodbye to Tyler."
Liz nodded, "Mason, there was no time. If you hadn't been able to return, I would have taken him in. All the custody papers are in there for him. You can make medical decisions as Tyler's guardian, but he can't access his trust until he is 21. But with him and Caroline dating, that probably would not have been the best course."
Mason cleared his throat. "I see. So how bad is this? Charles' staff thinks he is sick. Folks are getting suspicious."
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner," Liz apologized. "It's just that I was hoping they would be back by now."
"Damn, this is bad. Do you think they are still alive?" Mason finally asked, still recovering from the shock.
"I hope. I have to believe that they are just hiding until it is safe. They had an exit strategy, but that's not all...," Liz said.
"Oh Christ, I'm not sure I can take much more," Mason grumbled, he rubbed at his temples and wiped sweat from his brow.
"You know a Lockwood has always been mayor, right?" Liz pressed.
"Oh yeah, from old Jacob Lockwood to Barnette and so on," Mason said, not making the connection.
"There is paperwork in there to make you interim mayor, until Charles gets back," Liz confirmed, flipping to another sheet.
"Mayor?" Mason laughed roughly. "Look at me, I can barely hold it together for Tyler and Matt. You've got to be kidding."
"I'm not," Liz said, getting up. "Look, I didn't want to be on the force myself, but it was my duty. Now, I can't see myself doing anything else. This town has given a lot to us, Mason. Now, you have to give back."
Mason thought of the grand mansion, properties, and how the town's people had always treated them as royalty...but him as mayor?
"I c-can't," Mason stuttered.
"Why not? Give me one good reason and I'll shut up," Liz said, taking the chair by Mason to look him in the eye.
"You know what tomorrow is, right?" Mason said dully.
"Full moon...," Liz said.
"When I was in Florida, I met a girl," Mason started. "Kathy. So pretty and charming that I did anything she asked. One night, I got into a blind rage and killed my friend for nothing. I triggered my curse, Liz. I'm a full blown werewolf now."
Liz nodded, "My family has known about your family for almost a century, even when you all didn't...It's not a problem."
"But...," Mason protested. "How the hell did the Forbes know?"
"Gilbert journals," Liz admitted. "Someone tore the page out of the Gilbert journals before the Gilberts took them back. George Lockwood triggered his curse in the Civil War and came back and...Well, let's just say the vampires got blamed for his crimes. No one else knew, not even Charles until Tyler triggered."
Mason got up. "Kathy was a vampire, running from Klaus Mikaelson. I got away but still got dragged into this. Dammit, I should have been here for my nephew."
Liz stood up and grabbed his well-muscled arm, noticing how wrinkled his flannel was.
"You can be here for him now. Tyler and Mystic Falls needs you, Mason. In the charter it says that a Lockwood needs to be mayor or you forfeit the properties. All of them," Liz said.
"What? That house is worth millions," Mason gasped. "That's Tyler's...Oh Liz, you have me by the balls. You said it's only temporary, the mayor thing?"
"Sure. You know your brother has some kind of plan to get back here. Just give it a couple of weeks. I will help you and the Founder's Council, of course," Liz assured him, letting go of his arm.
"Isn't Damon Salvatore on the Council as well?" Mason inquired.
"Yes, he is. It's his right and we need his help now more than ever," Liz admitted. "The Mikaelsons have to be on our side. We can't fight them. Hell, we don't even know what we are up against. Those Traveler witches came way too close to destroying this town. And we still can't piece together what caused the explosion at the Young farm."
Mason shut his eyes.
"I guess I better get some nicer clothes," Mason announced wryly.
Liz chuckled, "Yeah, that would be a start. Let me call, Ben, the mayor's assistant. He'll walk you through the basics and get you started."
"That's it? No election or anything official?" Mason asked in disbelief.
"No, we'll take care of all that. Since you are interim mayor, you can be appointed...by the Sheriff," Liz said. "So just sign the paper and you have a new job."
"No matter how hard we try to run from our past, it always catches up, doesn't it?" Mason asked.
"Yup, around here it does. You might want to see about getting one of those moonlight rings. There is a fundraiser Saturday morning, you should attend. We don't want you showing up naked," Liz chided.
"As long as I don't have to kiss any babies," Mason muttered, signing the form with the pen Liz gave him.
"Oh, you'll be kissing babies and ass, maybe not as much as Charles," Liz laughed. "But enough. And you might want to shave."
Mason groaned again and stood up.
"The things we do for family. Tyler better appreciate this," Mason quipped. "That kid has never worked a day in his life, though honestly, either have I."
"No time like the present," Liz said, leading him out. "Come on, we'll talk more on the way over to Founder's Hall."
Mystic Falls High School
Lunch
Stefan found Kol sitting under a tree at lunch. He was reading on his side.
"You're not eating?" Stefan asked, taking an apple out of his backpack.
"Not hungry. Just reading," Kol said, waving his copy of Austen's Pride and Prejudice. "I'm more of a Shakespeare man myself."
"I prefer Faulkner," Stefan admitted, tossing Kol the apple.
"Thanks, mate," Kol said, catching it, but letting a small gasp escape from his lips.
"Problem?" Stefan asked with concern.
"Aye, I got my tail lit up again this morning," Kol confessed. "Ric put some cursed salve on my arse and gave me ten licks with that paddle. It's like I sat on a hot stove."
Stefan grimaced, "A salve? Magical? That doesn't bode well for any of us. Bonnie didn't make it, did she?"
"No, it was some kind of herb concoction with vervain in it. I know you were thinking about asking for hiding to get your driving privileges back, but don't," Kol advised.
"Really? That bad?" Stefan questioned.
"Yes, but Ric said I am off the hook for tomorrow since I got double today," Kol mumbled. "I will never fool with that man again. I fear I underestimated the humans here."
Stefan saw Elena, Bonnie, April, and Caroline congregating at their usual lunch table a few hundred feet away.
"Yeah, not smart," Stefan agreed. "They can really do a number on you."
Kol bit into the apple and followed his stare.
"You still love her?" Kol pressed, watching Elena laugh at something. Then, Rebekah joined them, talking a mile a minute.
Stefan tore his gaze back to Kol.
"Yes, I don't think I'll ever stop, but she deserves a chance at a normal life," Stefan said. "That's why I left with Klaus. I just couldn't let him take her away..."
Kol swallowed another bite of the apple.
"Damon loves her, too," Kol said. "Did you speak to him yesterday?"
Stefan took out his container of animal blood and sipped it.
"I saw him this morning," Stefan replied. "I don't think he's sleeping very well. Are you supposed to be training him in magic?"
"Aye," Kol answered. "I always ran with witches wherever we were. And when I got a chance, I took off and studied with them. I thought if I could find something that could dagger Nik, I would be free. All it did was get me put in a box for nearly the whole century."
It was breezy today, yet Stefan's blood hair never moved. Kol could smell the humans and their food. Even now, Kol at times felt overwhelmed by their beating hearts and hunger. He wondered how Stefan dealt with only drinking animal blood.
"Yeah," Stefan said. "When I met your brother in Chicago, he was a lot of fun. He told me about you, you know?"
"He did?" Kol asked in surprise. "I'm sure Elijah was the one he was pining after..."
"No, he didn't mention Elijah much. But he said that he thought we would get along. Klaus talked about some of your antics in New Orleans," Stefan mentioned.
"I am surprised," Kol said. "But we used to fall into depravity at times, until Elijah started harping on us. Then, after Marcellus, most of that stopped. Niklaus became a father and no longer had time for mirth."
"Sometimes I can't believe he's the same guy who used to laugh and cheer me on when I was on a ripper spree," Stefan went on. "I mean, now I see him watching Damon and looking after him...and I kinda feel left out. But then I realize that Damon never had that. My father never looked kindly on him. He was a drunk and a brute, but I knew deep down he loved me."
Kol looked at Stefan and hesitated, "I probably should not say this, but I wonder if Nik would have been so fast to leave your mum if Marcel twas not around. He catered to that boy from the first time he saw him in 1810. I think when Nik is looking at Damon, he's also thinking of Marcel. They had a bond, a real bond. I used to be jealous of that, I think. But now, I suppose I am happy for them. Damon will not have it easy with all that power. You know what the thirst for blood is like, well, for witches, magic is also a strong pull."
Stefan now looked at Bonnie, trying to elbow Caroline away from her fries.
"You have to help him, Kol," Stefan proposed. "Help my brother survive this. He's not as strong as people think he is. He's broken inside."
"Are not we all?" Kol asked, tossing his apple core at Stefan.
Stefan caught it and finished his blood.
"Yes, that is true. Try to stay out of trouble today," Stefan advised. "Come on, let's go sit with the girls."
"I'll stand, thank you," Kol said, getting up. "But I do need to chat with Bonnie. There has to be a spell that can counteract this bloody throbbing. I am just not used to it."
Stefan shook his head and laughed, but Kol stopped him.
"But yes, Stefan," Kol said seriously. "I'll help Damon the best that I can, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun. Right?"
"Uh, Kol? Whatever you are thinking. Don't," Stefan warned, but Kol was already approaching the ladies.
Jeremy saw Anna and blinked.
"Hey Anna, what are you doing here?" Jeremy blurted out.
Annabelle looked at him in amusement.
"Um, I'm a student here now. Matt and Tyler were just showing me around," Anna said. Tyler went to join Caroline and Matt went to get a drink.
"So no more homeschooling?" Jeremy joked.
"No, Mother thought I should get out of the house. You know, your old girlfriend turned," Annabelle said quietly.
Jeremy flushed, "Vicki...Yeah, I heard. She wasn't really my girlfriend technically. How's she doing?"
Anna put her tray down.
"Honestly, she's pretty wild. My mother is trying to get her settled down, but she is testing her patience something awful," Anna admitted.
"So I shouldn't try to visit?" Jeremy prompted.
"Right now, no," Annabelle said, feeling strange. There were so many students around. Nadia had told her to call if she got overwhelmed, but this is what Annabelle had wanted.
"So how's it going with your mom? I heard they caught that guy who attacked Vicki. That's a relief," Jeremy said.
"Yes, he was rotten to the core," Annabelle said. "I haven't heard about the others. I guess they got away?"
"I really don't know," Jeremy said. "Might if I join you?"
"No, of course not," Annabelle said in bemusement. "Hungry?"
"I packed a sandwich," Jeremy said, taking it out of the brown paper back Jenna had packed. "Let me see your schedule."
Annabelle gave Jeremy the sheet they had given her.
"Hey, you're in my art class," Jeremy said. "I'm in the second course, but since now one else signed up for it, we'll be in the same room!"
"Splendid," Annabelle said, cracking up her soda. "I tried to call you..."
"Yeah, sorry," Jeremy said. "I've been busy. I take an art class on some weeknights and I'm trying to make up some old homework I blew off. I have to sit with Ric every night and study and stuff."
"Oh," Annabelle said. "Maybe we can hang out this weekend? You know, at the library?"
"Oh, we're heading to our family's lake house," Jeremy explained. "Maybe next week?"
"Sure," Annabelle said. Matt came back and they talked about Vicki some more.
Matt confirmed that Vicki was struggling.
"You don't want to see her now," Matt said with a grimace. "She's real hungry."
Jeremy looked down. "Sorry to hear that, Matt. When she's better, I'll stop by. I promise."
"I'm sure she would look that, but right now, you look like a juicy steak to her. Me, too," Matt conceded. "Miss Pearl is taking real good care of her. Nadia, too. Katherine, though, man, I think all she does is her nails all day. She's a real piece of work. Funny that she and Elena are doubles. They are like nothing alike."
"Yeah," Jeremy said, chewing on his peanut butter sandwich. "Vicki will be okay, though, right? Like Anna and Stefan is...I mean, how long is it gonna take?"
Annabelle shrugged, "Depends on the vampire, I suppose. Some aspects of your personality really take over. And I think for Vicki, it's impulsiveness. Mother doesn't care for that..."
Matt chuckled a little.
"Yeah, Vicki is getting a real mom now. Miss Pearl said she will whip her into shape as soon as she can. Annabelle, I need to get your mom some flowers...I just have to get some cash from Tyler first," Matt joked.
Annabelle smiled, "That is very kind of you, Matthew. She would love that. Now, Jeremy, I should go say hello to your sister. I haven't met her properly."
Mikaelson Mansion
Damon woke up and felt Klaus stretched beside him.
"You were here all day?" Damon yawned.
"Yes, but I got you some blood and some lunch," Klaus said, pointing to the tray. "Eat and drink, you need to get your strength back."
Klaus got out of the bed and got the tray set up for Damon. There was also a cloth napkin and a bottle of sparkling water.
Damon was hungry. He gulped down a bag of blood and then started on the food.
"Salade niçoise," Klaus said. "Elijah has a fancy for Italian foods. Try it, it's good for you."
Damon bit into the salad comprised of tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, olives and tuna.
"Oh my God, this is so good," Damon exclaimed. "Wow, this dressing!"
"Elijah made his own vinaigrette. I think he even had the children helping. I hope they washed their hands after constantly touching those dogs," Klaus contended. "They even took them to the lake and got filthy. Good thing there was a hose out there. You should have seen the mess. Elijah ruined his suit."
"I literally don't care if the dogs licks this," Damon said, his mouth full. "Uncle E. should open up a restaurant!"
Klaus smiled, enjoying watching Damon relish his meal. He seemed to be in much better spirits.
"You know, it's alright to be angry at him," Klaus said. "Your 'Uncle E', I mean. There were times we feuded for decades. But in the end, we are still family."
"Okay," Damon said, taking a drink. "I know he feels bad, it's just I'm not used to be treated like this. You know?"
"It is an adjustment for us all. Having Finn around again has displaced Elijah's position as the eldest. And Elijah is trying to save all of his patience for the children, but I do not aim to make excuses for him. Let us speak of other things. Did you sleep better at least?" Klaus asked, checking his cell phone for messages, he had missed a few calls.
"Yeah, no nightmares finally," Damon said, chewing.
"Good," Klaus said. "Maybe I ought to sleep by your side more often."
Damon looked up sharply, about to say he wasn't a child, but pausing.
"What, Son?"
"Um, actually, could you stay here? I mean, if I start to have them again?" Damon asked shyly, his blue eyes troubled again.
Klaus leaned over and lifted his chin with his hand.
"Of course. Or you could come in my room if you need to," Klaus added. "Anytime, you need not feel ashamed to do so. Is that understood?"
Damon nodded and Klaus smiled and wiped at his mouth with the napkin.
"A bit of tuna, I think," Klaus stated. Unable to resist brushing back Damon's curling black hair. Such a handsome lad!
"Ah, thanks," Damon said, taking another bite. He might need seconds.
"I will leave you to finish. There is more in the kitchen. I need to call back Lucy about making some moonlight rings. The full moon is tomorrow and Ava may turn. I think I saw some black kyanite in Greta's old stores. Perhaps you can help with the spell?" Klaus prompted. "But only if you feel up to it."
"I feel good," Damon said, finishing the delicious salad. "I'll do what I can."
"Perfect. That's all we can do," Klaus said, leaving.
Mikalson Mansion
Downstairs
Klaus went to phone Lucy back in his office and saw Enzo sitting in Elijah's study.
"I thought you were let off from your studies for the day?" Klaus asked.
Enzo grimaced, "Me, too, but apparently, I did a poor job. I have to finish all this before the others get home from school."
Klaus walked in and took a look at the notebook Enzo was scrawling in.
"Ah, your penmanship is rather poor. Didn't you learn your letters?" Klaus asked, trying not to cringe.
"Nay, I grew up in a bloody work house. I could barely write my name," Enzo said. "Damon taught me how to read when he was a captive with me. We had little else to do aside from plot our escape and get tortured. Is he up?"
"Aye, he seems much better. He should be down shortly," Klaus said. "You are writing a theme?"
"Yes, I have to read this and answer these questions. But I keep drifting off, these books are for children," Enzo complained, tossing down Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in the Willows.
"Oh yes, I see that," Klaus noted. "I'll speak to Elijah about getting you some more appropriate readers. He taught Marcel with a copy of Hamlet, I think that is a bit much, though. Perhaps we can find a compromise?"
"That would be helpful," Enzo said.
"Where is everyone anyway?" Klaus asked, noticing the quiet.
"Oh, Sage and Elijah took everyone to the mall to buy new clothes," Enzo shared. He snickered, "Sage really chewed him out about going outside in that silk suit. She said she was going to put him over her knee if she caught him doing that again. You should have seen his face!"
Klaus smirked, "I can't believe I missed that. Come now, take a break. I'm going to call Lucy and then you can help me go through the magical objects. We should start to catalog what we have. I also have to sort through Kol's dark objects. They have been in boxes since 1915 or so."
"Yes, I can help," Enzo said, popping up. "But I better get this done first..."
"I'll help you," Klaus said, giving him a few responses and waiting while Enzo painstakingly wrote. Klaus called Lucy from Elijah's desk phone and arranged for her to come over to discuss the moonlight spell. Maybe she could discern what some of the dark objects did also.
"Ah, my hand is cramping," Enzo complained after a few minutes.
"We ought to get you a computer for your studies. I do not think they write much in university, you should learn to type," Klaus stated.
"Anything would be better than writing with that big pencil," Enzo laughed. "Even Julian writes better!"
"You will learn. You are a clever lad, Enzo," Klaus said confidently.
"No, I am not," Enzo said, turning the page to write some more.
Klaus put a hand over his.
"Nay, you are. Think about how many other vampires the Augustines slaughtered! Yet, you survived and are here now. That takes bravery and courage and I won't hear otherwise about it."
Enzo faltered, "If I was clever, I would have escaped like Damon. I had to become a monster for Wes so he would let me out. I wouldn't have survived if it had been up to me alone."
"Do I have to put you over my knee, young man?" Klaus threatened. "You are here and thriving. Many would have given up. Now, forget this nonsense. You need a break. Come, if Elijah gives you any grief, I will speak to him."
"Alright," Enzo said slowly. A heat crept up his neck at Klaus' attention.
"Oh, I need to get my mother's grimoire," Klaus said. "And I mean it about your comments, you have a lot to be proud of. No more tearing yourself down or..."
"I know, I know, I'll get a right good hiding," Enzo quipped. "I've been here long enough to know you mean it."
Klaus threw an arm around Enzo.
"Aye, I do," Klaus said fondly.
Salvatore Boarding House
Katherine took Mason's call and laughed.
"You, the mayor of this shitty town? That is hilarious," she said into the phone.
Pearl stiffened and continued pouring her tea as Katherine took her phone in the other room.
Nadia came in from walking with Harper outside.
"It's another beautiful day, Pearl. A little windy, but it feels so good. You should take some air," Nadia enthused. "I can take this tray down to Vicki."
"Victoria threw the last two trays and smashed them," Pearl said firmly. "I thought Annabelle was a stubborn child, but this one is giving me fits."
Harper frowned, "You have been real kind to her, Miss Pearl. But I remember how you tamed my vampire thirst. Remember that?"
Pearl smiled and nodded.
"You were wild from turning and battle, but I think my spoon settled you down quite a bit," Pearl mused.
"It sure did, ma'am. I learned not to fuss and beg for more blood or I would be too sore to sit," Harper pipped up. "There's plenty of good spoons in this here kitchen!"
Pearl nodded and went to plunk a spoon out of the container on the marble counter.
"I was going to give her some more time, but I am postponing the inevitable," Pearl stated. "I suppose if I do not start being stricter, Victoria will never leave that cell."
Nadia's eyes got wide.
"I tried to clip her nails, but she nearly scratched my eye out," Nadia commented. "Need some help?"
"No, this is vervain tea. I have been mixing some in her blood to start her training," Pearl shared, gesturing towards the antique tea pot. "You two, enjoy your afternoon. I'll be up shortly with Victoria..."
Nadia looked dubious, but Harper nodded enthusiastically.
"Yes, Miss Pearl, if anyone can do it, it tis you," Harper said, as Pearl lifted the tray and carried it down to the cellar.

Basement Level
Vicki screamed and pounded her bloody fists on the rough walls of her cell.
"Let me the fuck out of here!" Vicki wailed. She cried, she pounded, she vamped around until she was exhausted. "I'm fucking hungry, you bitches!"
Pearl unlocked the cell and then entered, setting the tray on the floor. Vicki had smashed the metal table and tried to impale her with it earlier.
"I brought you some blood and tea," Pearl said sternly. "Now, sit and we shall have a nice chat."
"Fuck you, you witch," Vicki snarled, licking the blood off her fists.
Pearl took a breath.
"I also brought my wooden spoon, but I was hoping you would try to behave like a civilized being," Pearl said calmly.
"Civilized being! Ha, not human because I am a fucking monster now. And I'm goddamn fucking starving. It burns," Vicki wailed hysterically.
"I know, dear," Pearl concurred. "And it always will. You will grow used to it. More blood only makes it worse. Now, if you can sip your blood, you will start to grow more in control. Here, have a sip."
Pearl poured a bit of the blood into the cup and swirled some vervain tea in it.
"If you smash that cup, I'm going to whip your behind," Pearl warned. "Now, sit and have a drink."
Vicki's fang popped out and her tear streaked face darkened in rage.
"Victoria, I mean it, no blood until you sit," Pearl said evenly, holding the delicate tea cup in one hand and the spoon in her other.
Vicki growled, smelling the blood in the tea cup, saying, "You hit me and I'll stake you with that."
Pearl ignored this threat and waited until Vicki finally sat on the bed.
"Now, practice sipping," Pearl said carefully.
Pearl handed her the cup and Vicki gulped it down.
"Ahhhhh," Vicki hissed, feeling the vervain sting her mouth and throat. "You fucking bitch!"
Vicki smashed the cup and stood, coming at Pearl.
Pearl sighed and simply grabbed the thin, snarling vampire and dragged her to the metal bed chained to the floor. That was the one thing that Vicki hadn't been able to destroy.
"Now, you are getting punished for disobeying. You will learn to sip that blood. We all need vervain to protect us from mind control and it will help you learn control," Pearl said in a commanding voice. She held Vicki tightly and then laid her over her lap. Vicki wore a long nightshirt as she had tore the other clothes to shreds.
Pearl brought the heavy spoon down on Vicki's rear with a crack.
Whack!
Vicki clawed and ripped Pearl's skirts as she got soundly paddled with the spoon.
Whap! Whap! Whap!
"Owwwwww, you bitch!" Vicki moaned as she kicked and tried to force her way off Pearl's lap. But the elder vampire was strong, she pinned Vicki with her left hand and spanked up and down with the spoon. Soon, Vicki's night shirt rode up, baring her bottom cheeks.
Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Pearl swatted the quivering behind with the spoon until it was red and glowing.
Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!
Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!
Pearl finally heard the formerly enraged baby vamp crying and stopped. She put down the spoon and spanked Vicki with the flat of her hand another few moments.
"Now, are you ready to try sipping again?" Pearl asked, rubbing Vicki's back. "If not, I can keep paddling."
"Nooooooo, I-I'll t-try," Vicki shrieked.
Pearl stood her up and Vicki hopped up and down sobbing at she rubbed her sore behind. Pearl took the spoon, mindful that it could be used as a stake, and got another tea cup. She prepared another mixture as Vicki's crying halted and the vampire eyed the blood bag. She eyed the shreds in her long skirts and sighed, maybe she would try trouser pants. This skirt was a bit cumbersome. There was no use sewing it and Nadia said they didn't make many long dresses such as she used to wear.
"Here. Take it slowly," Pearl reminded her. Vicki did sip and gulped down the rest, this time smashing the cup with her fist. Blood spurted out of Vicki's hand and her fangs again appeared. Vicki looked like a wild creature, ready to attack.
"Fine, we will can try again," Pearl said, flipping a howling Vicki over her lap again and bringing the spoon down with another sharp crack. Vicki's bottom had healed, but Pearl quickly lit it up again.
Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!
Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!
Pearl pushed aside thoughts of strolling outside, she may be here all afternoon. She hoped Annabelle was faring better at school today.
"S-Stopppppp," Vicki screamed, kicking wildly and clawing at Pearl's left leg as she stared at the hard stone floor.
Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!
Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!
