Mall

Morning

Elijah had just gotten fitted for a new tux at the tailor shop in the mall when he heard a tapping on the glass. He slipped the clerk his credit card and looked up, not expecting anyone he knew.

But it was Katherine. She waved and pivoted into the store.

"Katerina? Are you following me now? Have the tables turned so abruptly," Elijah said with a small upturn of his lips.

Katherine ignored his words, and started speaking.

"Fancy meeting you here. I brought the fam here on my lunch break to shop. You know I'm working at the mayor's office now...For the mayor!" Katherine clarified.

"Ah yes, I heard that a new Lockwood would be stepping in. How nice for you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get back home," Elijah said, taking his card back from the cashier. Katherine positioned herself right in front of Elijah, pushing out her chest. She was looking as gorgeous as ever, but Elijah did not have time for this. He suspected she was up to something, she always was.

"Your tux should be ready by Thursday or before you leave town. We'll call you," the man said politely.

"You're leaving town?" Katherine prodded.

"Unfortunately, I have business back in New Orleans. It's something that cannot be helped. Now, if you'll excuse me," Elijah said, trying to side step her.

"Elijah, don't be like this. I know we might have had something once and that's over, but I worry about the boys," Katherine said in a quiet voice. She licked her glossed lips and pouted, "Are they okay? The boys? They are different...Just tell me what is going on. Pretty please."
Elijah breathed out a sigh.

"Yes, they are. Damon and Stefan are hanging in there. I think they worry a bit about the house, but I'm sure you are taking good care of it. Do you need something, Katerina? I really do need to be going," Elijah repeated.

"No, I have to go, too. I have an event and I need a new signature gown. I thought I should just get something made," Katherine replied.

"The boys are fine," Elijah said. "I know that Sheriff Forbes said that Pearl reached out about the incident. If that is what you are worried about, it's taken care of."

"Good, but it's just Stefan said he'd come by a few times and never did...," Katherine said, her eyes raking over Elijah several times.

"He lost his driving privileges for speeding, if you must know," Elijah confided. "I can drive him over some time this week. I think he did want to check up on the vervain supply."

"I guess Damon is too busy to visit his sire," Katherine scoffed.

"Actually, he is. We'll be in touch, Katerina. Goodbye," Elijah said, putting his slip in his jacket pocket.

As he left, Katherine muttered, "It's Katherine now...Katerina Petrova is long dead. Your asshole brother made sure of that."

"Ma'am? Miss? May I help you?" the clerk asked, snapping her out of her revelry.

"Yes, is the tailor here? I need a dress for tomorrow...It will have to be a rush job but I'm sure he'll be happy to help me," Katherine smirked.

Lake House

Dunham Lake , Virginia

It only took the group three bathroom breaks, one gas station stop, and one fast food run before getting to the lake house.

"Oh, it's beautiful," Ric gushed, getting out of the driver's seat. Elena had ridden down with Bonnie and Lucy, and Jeremy and April had stayed with Jenna and Ric. Damon and Enzo rode in Damon's convertible with the top down despite the chilly weather.

"Wow," April said, also impressed by the large vacation home built to look like a log cabin. There were a few detached buildings, including a garage and a wood shed.

"Ah, look at that lake. It's pristine," Jenna smiled. She had been here many times with her sister's family, but it now belonged solely to Elena and Jeremy.

"It might be too cold to swim today," Jeremy said, grabbing his back pack and the food cooler.

"You guys have clearly never heard of the polar plunge," Ric laughed.

"You jumped into freezing cold water?" Jenna asked incredulously, taking her purse, coffee cup, and sunglasses.

"No, I didn't say I did it...but I watched other, more adventurous souls do it," Ric quipped, exchanging a high five with Jeremy.

Enzo and Damon parked beside Ric's car and hopped out.

"Smart, Ric," Jeremy said. "I'll invite the guys in. Jeez, Lucy is a slow driver."

"Cautious is a better word," Jenna corrected, fishing for the keys in her purse. "I'm heading to the little girl's room. You guys have the luggage?"
Ric smiled, Jenna's coffee addiction was going to be the death of him.
"Yeah, you run. We got it," Ric said with a shake of his head.

April followed Jenna in, leaving the guys to get the heavier bags.

"Hey, before we go in, some ground rules," Ric started. "No one takes off alone. We'll get a bit of a perimeter set up, but Klaus was real clear that he didn't want you guys going off on your own."
Damon groaned, "Ric, I'm a big boy. I'm not going to get mauled by a bear out here."
"There are bears," Jeremy laughed. "We saw one the summer I broke my arm on the dock!"

Enzo was intrigued, "Bears, really? That forest does look pretty big. You doing any hunting here?"
"Ah, my uncle did, but my dad didn't like hunting," Jeremy recalled.

Damon wanted to say that he probably only liked hunting vampires, but bit back the comment. He threw an arm around Jeremy, taking the cooler.

"Let me get that, Little Gilbert. Then, you can invite us in," Damon said lightly.

They heard yelling from the house. Damon dropped the cooler and vamped to the door way as Ric ran.

"Jenna!" Ric exclaimed.

Jeremy followed close behind.

"I don't believe this," Jeremy grumbled, stepping in.

Ric pushed past Jeremy and saw a slight blonde man that Jenna was clearly not happy with.

Damon hissed, "Invite us in!"

Jeremy did and Enzo and Damon stepped in.

"Hi, Jeremy. I didn't know you all were coming this weekend," the man said dryly.

"Fuck. Uncle John, what are you doing here?" Jeremy blurted out.
Ric would have swatted Jeremy on the back of the head for the language, but he was too surprised.

"That's how you greet your only uncle," the man snapped, turning his eyes from Jenna to Jeremy. April stood open mouthed at the whole scene. She had no idea what was happening, but it was clear that no one liked this man.

The man stepped forward extending his hand. Ric noticed he wore the same ring that Jeremy did. The Gilbert ring.

"You must be Ric," the man said.

"John Gilbert," Ric replied, shaking his hand.

"John, this is the kids' house. You have no right to be here," Jenna interrupted.

"Oh, I have every right to be here. This is still half mine," John argued. "But I don't care about that. I think you better sit down."

Mikaelson Mansion

Afternoon

Aaron and Finn got back from the hardware store with some new paint, an army green instead of the black for his room.

"Are you really going to build stables?" Aaron asked as they came into the kitchen.

"Aye. You are welcome to help me. I can teach you a few things and then you can help the children with their tree house," Finn said, setting down the paint on the kitchen island.

"Oh, I never built a thing in my life," Aaron said. "But it might be kinda cool. Can I use the nail gun?"

Finn shrugged, "Sure, after I figure out how to use it. There are so many new things..."

Klaus heard them and came in. Indy was on his back and he was carrying Ava.

"There you are. I thought you were buying the whole store. Did you get what you needed?" Klaus asked, putting down the girls. Indy ran to Aaron.

"Did you get the paint? Can we help? I love to paint," Indy chirped.

Aaron showed her the color on the paint can.

"Yeah, I guess. We have to prime the walls and stuff first," Aaron explained. "You guys can help me take down the stuff on the walls."
The girls followed him into his small bedroom.

Klaus watched them.

"My, your thrashing did the trick, I see," Klaus noted.

"Perhaps, perhaps not," Finn said, getting himself out a blood bag from the refrigerator. "He was really cross with me this morning until I got him food at the Grill, then he changed back into a reasonable human again. Where's everyone else?"

"Sage took Julian and the dogs to the groomer to get their nails cut. Julian said their paws were 'hurting,'" Klaus smiled. "I look forward to seeing if he'll be able to speak to the horses, once we get them. Did you order the lumber?"

"Aye, the shop owner was very pleased. He said his sons would drop it off this afternoon, for a cost," Finn shared.

"Stefan said he'd be happy to help. He's with Caroline now," Klaus added. They heard the door open again and Elijah came in.

"What happened to you?" Finn asked, seeing the expression on his face.

"Katerina Petrova," Elijah groaned. "She accosted me at the mall and was pumping me for information on Damon and Stefan. I am not sure what she was really getting at. Apparently, she was shopping on a break from her new job at, get this, the mayor's office."

Klaus laughed, "Oh, she'll be running the bloody town. Woe to us all. I scheduled a meeting with Mason Lockwood. We need to get up to date on this Founder's Council. With Caroline Forbes being attacked, I am sure they will be plotting and doing their usual mischief."

Elijah nodded and took out some frozen meat for dinner to thaw.

"I thought I would just make a roast tonight. I ordered the tux," Elijah said wearily. "The thought of having to be with Tristan and his minions, makes my blood run cold."

Klaus put a hand on Elijah's shoulder.

"You are surely taking one for the team," Klaus smirked. "I would go with you but..."

"The nine covens of New Orleans would revolt," Elijah finished. "Exactly, what did you do this time?"

Klaus frowned and looked down at his hands, picking at a hang nail.

"Messed with the wrong witch, I suppose," Klaus said. "Come, let's go into your study. I have some ideas and I should fill you in on what you may be facing. Finn, are you coming?"

"Nay, I am going to scope out the site for the stables. I think I saw a flat spot near that copse of trees. I will bring the girls and Aaron," Finn said, heading to knock on Aaron's door.

"Very well," Klaus said.

Lake House

By the time, Bonnie, Lucy, and Elena arrived, Ric and Jenna were sitting at the kitchen table of the house drinking coffee.

"Uncle John? I didn't see your car here," Elena said as she saw her father's brother sitting with her aunt and Ric.

John got up and gave her a stiff hug.

"I parked it in the garage. I've run into a little trouble, I'm afraid," John said. He noticed Bonnie and said hi and then introduced himself to Lucy.

"We're going to start the thing," Lucy said.

"Come on, I'll show you around," Elena said, giving Jenna a 'What-the-hell-is-he-doing-here?" look. Jenna mouthed, "Tell you later."

John waited until the girls left.

"Look, I know this looks bad, but the Augustines were not always bad people," John went on. "My brother only cared about medicine and helping people. I encouraged him to join to keep the town safe, but I fear we put everyone in more danger. Especially Elena."
Jenna almost choked on her coffee.

"John, what the hell are you talking about? Spit it out," Jenna demanded, glaring at the man she had come to loathe.

John leaned back. "How to start...how to start."
Ric looked at John's ring and then at Jenna. The others were all helping with the boundaries spell or checking out the lake. Ric got up to check that the kids were still outside, before pouring more coffee and sitting down again. The room was filled with a pregnant tension.

"Want to start by telling me how the hell my first wife had a Gilbert ring?" Ric growled.

John leaned back in his chair.

"That's an easy one. I gave it to her," John said.

Ric wanted to get up and grab the man by the collar, but he couldn't with Jenna there.

"Tell me about the ring, dammit," Ric ordered.

"Ric, what's going on? You hardly said anything about your wife except that she is dead," Jenna lamented.

John gulped down the dregs of his coffee.

"You were married to Isobel and she never told you about me? And you never told Jenna why you came to Mystic Falls, I suppose," John retorted smugly.

"You little worm, tell me what the fuck is going on?" Ric hissed, his eyes blazing with an anger that Jenna had never seen.

John took off the ring.

"It's a family heirloom. Johnathan Gilbert made it, or claimed to," John started. "It can bring back a person if he or she is killed by a supernatural. She told you that part."

"Yes, that's why I gave it to Jeremy," Ric said. "But how did my late wife get it from you?"

John didn't look up from the ring.

"Isobel was always obsessed with the supernatural. We met during high school through friends. I didn't realize until later that she had arranged it to find out more about vampires. She knew about the town's past and how it was really founded," John started.

"So you knew Ric's wife? In high school?" Jenna asked, her voice several octaves higher.

"Yeah, we fell in love and she got pregnant," John stated in a far away voice. "Rather, I was in love with her, she just wanted the diaries."

"Johnathan Gilbert's diaries," Ric determined.

"Yes, but I didn't know where they are were. There were a few in Founder's Hall, but the rest...I couldn't find. My father had hidden them, even from me," John said. "I wanted to keep the baby, but we were just kids. She..."
Jenna's eyes grew wide, "No, no, no!"

Ric looked at Jenna with concern. "Jenna, what do you know?"
"Elena," Jenna whispered.

John nodded, "Miranda and Grayson had been trying for a baby for years. It seemed like the perfect solution."
"What? Elena was adopted," Ric spat out.

"And you're her-," Jenna tried, but couldn't say it aloud.

"I'm her biological father," John confirmed. "But my brother and your sister were her real parents. I never thought of her that way. I gave Isobel the ring to protect her because I knew what she was doing."
"Trying to turn herself," Ric said in a hollow voice.

"And she did," John said evenly. "But now that the Augustines are on the run, they are looking for who betrayed them. They are closing ranks and hunting down members. I still have a few contacts and one reached out saying I was on their list."
"But you didn't even know we were coming, you son of a bitch!" Jenna hissed. "Where you going to tell us?"
"I wanted to...b-but," John attempted, but he had no defense. "I know she was with you and had those vampires protecting her. I was going to send Jeremy my ring, but it wouldn't work on Elena."

"So you knew she was a doppelgänger?" Ric said, reaching across the table to steady Jenna's hand, which was shaking with rage.

"Yes, I knew. Grayson couldn't have faced the truth, but Isobel is a descendent of Katherine Pierce. That's why she become obsessed with finding her," John said, seeming exhausted by unloading his secrets.

"Oh my God, that's why she looks like Katherine," Jenna wailed. "You are not only a terrible father, but a lousy uncle. Did you ever hear of a fucking phone?"

"Jenna, it's too dangerous. They were monitoring everything. And I might have made it worse," John said.

"How is that possible?" Ric asked, rubbing his temples.

"I stole from them. I have the money from some of their accounts that I directed," John said. "Grayson raised a good bit of that money at Whitmore for research, but it's in the millions due to my investments."

"So that's the real reason they are after you," Ric stated.

John swallowed, "Yes. I never thought it would go down like this. I have it in a suitcase. It's yours now. I need to get out of the country."

"Just like the Lockwoods did?" Jenna asked wryly.

"Yeah, most of the town council was involved with the Augustines," John explained. "'Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know' is true here. Someone made a deal with an even worse organization and now the hunters are being hunted."
"I should kick your ass," Ric threatened. "You were just going to take off and leave us with your mess? Your own blood?"

"I'm a coward, I'll admit that," John confessed. "But I am trying to do the right thing for once. And before you kick my ass, there's more."

Jenna laughed bitterly, "Of course there is."

"No, it's a good thing. I found the diaries," John said. "Come on, I'll show you."

Jenna and Ric followed John into the main bedroom that had been Miranda and Grayson's. It was a large room on the ground floor with a spectacular view of the lake.

Jenna's eyes filled with tears when she walked in and saw her sister's things as she had left them. Her perfume, her sweater, and her reading glasses. She picked up the sweater and held it to her nose.

"Oh Miranda," Jenna sniffed as Ric put an arm around her.

Jenna looked up at Ric, "They never told her, Ric. They meant to, but there was never a good time. Oh my God, if she finds out now..."
"Shhh, we'll deal with that later. Let me see what he found," Ric said, turning at John pulled the cord on a light bulb in a walk in closet.

"My old man was found of secrets, too," John reported, moving some boxes of clothes and shoes. "There's a hidden door here..."
Ric watched as John activated the latch and the door popped open with a click.

Ric sucked in his breath as he said the small room lined with weapons, guns, crossbows, and even swords.

"There's enough wooden bullets for a war," John shared. "But I found the journals back here."

"What exactly is in these journals that is so important that Isobel found you?" Ric prodded.

John dragged out a chest and opened it.

"I don't know. Johnathan made a bunch of inventions and then went crazy. I only found them today right before you came. But whatever is in there, I bet Katherine Pierce has something to do with it," John proposed.

"You think Isobel is still alive?" Ric whispered.

"Who do you think warned me?" John replied. "But Ric, she's not the same girl. You know how a vampire can change? She's bitter, cruel, and ruthless."

"She turned off her humanity, I bet," Ric said, reaching to pick up a leather bound journal. He opened it and found the text was scrawled and barely legible.

"Yeah, it looks like the rantings of a crazy person," John confirmed. "I want you to take my ring."
"Your ring?" Ric asked in confusion.

"Yes, you need it more than me. If you are to fight what is coming, that is," John said stoically, slipping off the heavy inscribed ring.

Ric took it.

"I'm only taking it to protect the kids and Jenna. We don't want anything from you," Ric said. "And not that damn blood money."
"Then, give it to the Mikaelsons," John begged. "They may be the only ones who can save her...Elena, that is. I need to go. The money is in those suitcases." John pointed to two old suitcases that he hadn't noticed in the cramped space.

"You put millions of dollars in two suitcases?" Ric asked in disbelief.

"Some of it I changed for diamonds," John answered. "I need to go. Can I have your car. My Lexus is in the garage, that may buy me some time."

"Yeah, whatever," Ric said, his mind swimming. "But what are you going to do?"

"I know people. We all had a backup plan. That's all I can say," John said. "And Ric, I did love her."

"Isobel or Elena?" Ric snapped.

"Both of them. Tell them I said goodbye," John said. He went back into the bedroom and took a backpack and another small suitcase. "Your keys?"

Ric gave him the car keys and gathered Jenna in his arms.

"You're leaving again? Go, John, and don't come back," Jenna said bitterly.

"You will never see me again," John promised. "Take care of them. I know that my brother would be disappointed in how I handled it, but I was never the man or father that he was. I never thought I'd say this, but the Mikaelsons may be the only defense against this. Tell them what I told you, but no one else. Goodbye, Jenna."

They watched him leave.

"I can't believe I slept with that snake," Jenna whimpered.

Ric winced, "Oh honey, we all make mistakes. I should have told you why I came here...I'm sorry I didn't tell you more about Isobel. I didn't know."
"Ric, it's okay. I know it was painful for you. I just don't know how I'm going to tell Elena," Jenna said, wiping tears from her face.

"Let's give the kids this weekend. Then, we'll tell her," Ric said. "You gotta see this closet. It has an arsenal in it."
Jenna gasped and leaned her head on Ric's shoulder.

"It's like they were preparing for a war," Jenna acknowledged.

"Yeah, and I think we are right smack in the middle of this," Ric replied, shutting the door after taking out the journals. The Gilbert ring felt heavy on his finger, though he had worn a similar one for years. "I'm going to get the grill started. I'm sure everyone is getting hungry."

Lockwood Mansion

"She's really good?" Matt asked, as Tyler explained how Caroline was doing.

"Yeah, man. You know Care. She's still worried about the decade dance and that stupid car wash," Tyler said, coming out of the shower. He sat down on the bed and started putting on his socks.

"I should go see Vic later," Matt said.

"You said she called," Tyler answered.

"Yeah, I guess they were going shopping. Ty, she actually sounded happy on the phone. Maybe they were listening in or something," Matt proposed. "I just keep replaying what happened last night over and over again. Like how the hell did that happen?"

Mason came to the open doorway.

"Yeah, that's what I was wondering, too," Mason said.

"Uncle Mason? I thought you were at work," Tyler said, giving Matt a nervous look.

"I was. But I figured it was time to have that talk," Mason said. Tyler started to slip on his shorts.

"Oh yeah, um, great," Tyler grunted.

"And don't bother with those pants," Mason grinned. "You ain't gonna need 'em. How's Caroline?"

"Good. Real good, in fact," Tyler confided. "She probably would be pretty pissed if you killed me though."

Mason came over. "Oh boy, I'm not gonna kill ya. But I want to hear what the hell you two were thinking having a keg party on the night of the full moon?"

Matt tried, "Well, we were just gonna have a couple of the guys over and then..."
"Stumpy brought a keg over," Tyler added. "I mean, it just got out of control."

"I'll say," Mason said. "And you thought going outside in the back was a good idea?"

Tyler shrugged, "People were messing up the house. But it's all cleaned up now."
"Yeah, cause Matt cleaned it. Right, Matt?" Mason inquired.

"Yeah, I had nothing else to do. Only a few things got broken," Matt said glumly.

"Like Caroline's neck?" Mason growled.

Tyler flinched as if he had been slapped.

"Come on, Uncle Mason, that's not fair," Matt said defensively. "Tyler was trying to get Vic off of her."

"And why was your sister even there?" Mason questioned, looking into Matt's blue eyes.

"I guess we let it slip that we were going to be drinking," Matt confessed. "That is on me."

"Any reason I shouldn't punish you?" Mason asked pointedly.

Tyler gulped, "I guess not, sir."

"Matt?" Mason prompted.

"No, we j-just wanted to let off some steam," Matt said. "And now Caroline's a vampire and my sister did it..."

Mason said how guilty they both looked.

"Guys, I am the last person to lecture you on partying or having a couple of beers. But I am punishing you for not calling me when shit was getting out of control. I could have been here in five minutes," Mason reported.

"I know," Tyler responded.

"Now, I'll give you a choice. Two weeks of being grounded. No phones, cars, going out, nothing but home and school. Or...," Mason started.

"Or we get our tails roasted," Tyler finished.

"Yeah. Need some time to think about it?" Mason asked.

The boys exchanged a look.

"I'll get the paddle," Matt said.

"Good. We'll going to take care of this and then I need to get back to work," Mason said. "And Ty, now that you triggered your curse-again. I need to use the wolfsbane."
"What? No way, that stuff burns!" Tyler moaned.

"Yeah, but you'll heal too fast without it," Mason noted. "I'll spray it on. Lose the towel and flip over on the bed."
Tyler's face got hot and he spread the damp towel on the bed and positioned himself over it as Mason got a spray bottle of wolfsbane.

"Ohhhhh," Tyler groaned as he felt the liquid coat his well-muscled backside and upper thighs. "Why do you even have that?"

"I have connections," Mason grinned. "We'll let that dry. I don't want to burn my own hand."
"Hand? Uncle Mason, come on, just give it to me like this," Tyler begged.

"Oh no, pal, I know you can take the pain of a licking. You act like a silly little wolf, and I'm gonna treat you like one over my knee," Mason informed him. "Come on. Get over."

Matt came in carrying the school paddle from the coach and saw Tyler getting a brisk hand spanking from Mason in the nude.

"Shit," Matt breathed, knowing he would be next.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

"Yeah, hand me the paddle, please," Mason retorted, pausing to grab the paddle and put it on the bed. "Then, strip yourself. You need a hot shower, too, 'Matthew.' Miss Pearl called and invited us over for supper at the boarding house. Ty, I figured you'd be with Caroline, but you were invited also."

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

"Owww-Ohhhhh, Tyler exclaimed as Mason swatted all over his bottom with his hard hand. "Yeah, aw, n-no t-thanks. Ouch! I-I be with my g-girl. Ahhhh!"

Matt shrugged off his pants and then his shirt and watched Mason turn Tyler into a sobbing little boy again. Matt noticed his backside was turning a bright pink.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

Mason had Tyler kicking and crying after two minutes and then he gave him a solid 15 whacks with the solid wooden paddle.

Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!

"I-I ammmm sorrrrry," Tyler bellowed as his behind was lit up like a torch.

Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!

"AHHHHHHH," Tyler wailed.

Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!

"There, now get your butt in the corner. Hands at your side," Mason directed, giving his nephew one said hard swat with his hand to get him up across both cheeks.

Crack!

"OWWWWWWWW," Tyler cried, dancing around when Mason set him on his feet.

"Corner or I can paddle you again," Mason warned.

"N-No, oh, got i-it," Tyler yelped, stumbling to the corner of his messy room. He tripped over his backpack, but finally made it.

"Matt, come on," Mason coaxed. Matt took his hands off his privates and leaned over Mason's lap.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

Matt's head shot up and his legs stiffened as he withstood the first flurry of hand spanks descending all over his bottom.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

Mason pushed Matt down flat but the boy was wiggling heavily. Mason finally shifted him and locked his right leg over Matt's, pinning him down.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

"You are getting this licking whether you think you deserve it or not," Mason chided.

Matt yelled out, "I d-do...It's my f-fault! Sorrrrry."

"It ain't your fault," Mason said, smacking Matt's sit spots firmly. "You made a mistake and things happened, but you didn't let Vicki do what she did. Got it?"
Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

Matt agreed, "Yesssss, owwww. Stop!"

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

"I'll stop when your butt is as red as your friend's there's," Mason quipped, but Matt was now crying and gripping Mason's pant leg.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

Mason wasn't spanking Matt as firmly as he had Tyler because he knew when the wolfsbane wore off, Tyler would heal fast. But he was turning his rump a uniform pink color.

"You are getting 15 with the paddle, too," Mason said, as he shifted to get the wooden board.

Pop!

"OWWWWWW! FUCK!" Matt screamed.

"That one didn't count. You don't curse over my knee during a spankin'," Mason reprimanded.

Pop!

"Oh! Owwww," Matt wailed, still trying to bounced up and down to deal with the sharp stinging.

Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!

Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!

"Okay, now join your friend," Mason said, lifting Matt up. He had stopped at giving Matt the last three whacks as his bottom looked like it was ready to bruise.

Matt hopped and rubbed his behind until Mason got up and swatted him to the corner.
"You two are gonna start minding me," Mason said, cracking Matt's bottom as he marched him to the corner.

Tyler's hands were on his red cheeks.

"I said, hands by your side," Mason snapped, moving Tyler's hands and spanking him four times on each cheek.

Slap. Slap. Slap. Slap.

Slap. Slap. Slap. Slap.

They were lighter slaps, but caused Tyler to break into fresh tears.

"Oh, sorry, U-Uncle," Tyler shouted, dancing again from foot to foot.

"Maybe I ought to be popping your butts more? That seems to be the only thing that gets through to you," Mason mused, looking around the filthy room.

"Nooooo," Matt whined. Mason smacked his glowing bottom once. Smack!

"And I want your rooms cleaned up today!" Mason said. "Laundry started, too."

"Okay...," Tyler sobbed.

Mason let them calm down another five minutes as he sat back down on the bed. He texted Kathy that he'd been back at the office soon.

"Okay, you two tell me what you learned from that," Mason said, picking up the paddle and holding it between his legs.

"Um, we should have called you last night," Tyler sniffed.

"And it wasn't all our fault," Matt said in a small voice.

"Right," Mason said standing up. He leaned the paddle up against Tyler's dresser. "You can come out now."

The boys wiped at their faces, but let Mason give them both a big hug. He patted their flaming fannies gently.

"I mean it, these rooms better be clean. If I can keep mine clean, so can you," Mason warned. "I love both of you. You know that, right?"
"We know," Matt sniffled.

Mason kissed Tyler on his dark hair and Matt on his blonde hair and started to leave.

"Leave that paddle on display, Tyler. Maybe that will help remind you two to behave," Mason said.

Matt guffawed, "Ha, it looks good next to your trophies."

"I'll get one for your room, too, Matthew," Mason smiled. "And wear something nice for tonight. Be good."

Tyler considered snapping the paddle in half after Mason left, but figured that wouldn't be wise. He laid down on his bed as Matt got down beside him.

"My ass is burning," Matt cried.

"Don't expect me to rub it," Tyler snarked.

"Yeah, I'll leave that to Caroline. Hey, I guess her blood could heal us...," Matt noted.

"Oh, don't even go there," Tyler warned. "It's not worth another paddling. You know you only got 12 swats."
"Bullshit," Matt said, reaching back to rub. "I got the same as you."
"Nope. I counted," Tyler said confidently. He reached over and slapped Matt's bottom three slaps.

"Awwww, you fucker," Matt said, trying to slap Tyler's rear back.

"Boys! I said behave. Do I have to spank you two again?" Mason snarled, putting on his jacket. "Those red behinds can get a lot redder. I ought to take a picture."

"No, sir," the boys shouted, blushing wildly.

After Mason left, they burst out laughing.

"You know, you could ask Annabelle for her blood," Tyler suggested, after realizing that his butt wasn't going to stop throbbing anytime soon.

"Screw you," Matt roared, as he went to slap Tyler on the back of the neck after licking it.

"Don't wet willie me, you prick," Tyler laughed, as they broke into a fresh wrestling match.
