"There is nothing like puking with somebody to make you into old friends."

-Sylvia Plath

BOOM! Another strike, this time more powerful than before. The Tarakava was not messing around. Her weapon was still waterlogged and for now, it was all she could use. The Tarakava swung again. This time, she was ready for it. She spun her scythe and jumped over and behind the Rahi. The Tarakava followed to the village square.

Ruby turned around and struck one of the tubes near its treads. The Tarakava roared in pain. It was then that the Rahi glared at Ruby. The huntress stared back and soon noticed the infected Hau in its eyes surrounded by black fire. The fire grew until it enveloped and began to burn out from the eyes as the Tarakava roared louder than before and charged Ruby.

Ruby braced herself only to be socked in the gut by one of the arms of the Rahi. That sent her flying into the hut. Ruby got up and looked at the looming Tarakava.

"Was it about the lizard thing?" she asked. The Tarkava's glove-like "hands" crackled with black and red electricity. Ruby dodged its attack and landed on the Rahi's back. She noticed the infected mask on its snout and wedged the back end of her weapon into a groove between the top of the snout and the mask. The Tarakava began to panic and like a bull tried to shake her off. Ruby held on with one hand while trying to pry off the mask with the other but what happened next caught her off guard. The lizard Rahi sped towards and dove into the water.

The villagers looked on as they waited for the outcome.

Ruby held her breath as she continued to try and pry the mask off. However, the Tarakava was now in its element. Its movements were more intricate and flexible. Plus, there were advantages to being amphibious. It could breathe through its skin but Ruby could not.

This was what decided the struggle as Ruby was shaken off and thrown deeper into the sea. The Tarakava raced down towards her and she readied her weapon. At least that was the plan. She quickly realized her weapon's absence and fled to find it. Using her semblance put some distance between her and the Rahi that pursued and she quickly found it but she was almost out of air. Ruby began to swim for the surface and breached the surface for air only for the Tarakava to rise and strike.

BOOM!

The Tarakava hit her square in the jaw and to her shock, her aura was depleted. Not only that but the punch felt stronger and Ruby noticed the dark electricity sparking along the arm for a brief moment. Ruby didn't have time to think as she soon found herself flying through the water with the Tarakava continually beating on the 15-year-old huntress-in-training repeatedly as she felt blow after blow struck her jaw, her shoulder, her chest, and her stomach. Eventually, the Tarakava socked Ruby in the face again, sending her head first into the side of one of the lily pad platforms that carved a trail ending in Ruby hard pressed into the side of one of the huts nearby.

Takua, Nokama, and the Matoran could only watch as this massive display of power and speed by Makuta's beast unfolded. Nokama was concerned, Takua felt sorry, and the Ga-Matoran were afraid.

Gali approached the outer edge of Ga-Koro and quickly caught sight of the battle unfolding. As soon as Ruby came out of the water, Gali made a dash for the huntress. Macku looked and saw Nokama and her people watching the fight

"Looks like they got Nokama and my people out in time." Macku said

"Indeed but it seems one of our friends is in danger. You meet up with the Turaga. I'll deal with the Rahi." Gali said. Macku nodded and jumped off of Gali's back. The Toa of Water quickly dove under the water to catch the Tarakava by surprise. Sneaking up behind the Rahi, Gali jumped out of the sea and above the Tarakava.

Ruby lay inside the hut. She felt aches and pains all over. She tried to get up but immediately felt sharp pains where she was hit. It was unlike anything she had felt before. Every breath felt labored and pained. A leg felt like it was aching with needles jabbed in her shins and knee and her left stomach felt bruised.

However, the sensation of something warm on her lip and the left side of her face really concerned her. She couldn't see it but she knew she was bleeding. The Tarakava did a number on her. Speaking of, the Rahi slowly approached the broken and beaten huntress. It examined her as it gave a defiant stare. The flames in the eyes had died down as Ruby stared at the Tarakava's eyes. This time, the mask was gone but its influence was there. The Tarakava turned around and moved towards Nokama.

It sought to repeat its attempt to assault the Turaga. Only this time, a figure in blue armor, Gali had appeared and blocked the strike. Gali stared down the Tarakava. The Rahi then swung at the Toa of Water but with each attack, Gali dodged and maneuvered away from the attack. The Tarakava corners Gali and strikes again but Gali deflects the punches.

Now backed against the wall of one of the huts. Gali stares at the Tarakava and sees the infected mask. Gali latches her hooks into the hut behind and pulls herself up and onto the roof of the hut as the Tarakava misses her with its next attack. Gali stares at the Rahi as it punches at Gali who leaps into the air and dodges the attack causing it to hit the roof of the hut instead. Gali lands on the Tarakava's back causing it to panic and dash into the water with Gali in tow.

Gali activates her Kanohi Kaukau and places her hooks in the grooves between the infected Kanohi and the snout of the Tarakava. The lizard Rahi tried to shake her off but the Toa wrapped her legs around the Tarakava to keep herself in range of the mask. She continued to pull on the mask and while she had yet to get her Pakari, she could feel the mask beginning to loosen.

However, something caused the Tarakava to contort itself and Gali was forced to unwrap her legs to finish the job. She pulled as she felt the Tarakava strike her stomach.

Takua, Macku, a Ga-Matoran with a powerless Kaukau named Hahli, and another Ga-Matoran, Kotu carefully pulled Ruby out of the hut and onto a stretcher of dry seaweed. Nokama had ordered it while she observed the battle between the Rahi and Gali. Hahli and Kotu carried the stretcher as Macku went to Nokama's side.

"It's done. I don't know how we can help Ruby now. She's in bad shape, Turaga. What do we do?" Macku said. Nokama stared with the mass of Ga-Matoran at the churning water before them but she heard Macku and spoke.

"There is not much we can do now but wait. In her condition, we would Gali to help heal the Child." Nokama answered.

"The Child, Turaga?" Macku asked Nokama's eyes widened at what she said and turned to Macku.

"Ruby, by her people's standards, is a child. Unlike us, Ruby's kind ages and are not immune to the effects of time as we are. According to her people's customs, she is a child at 15 years of age." Nokama answered.

"I see, I never knew. I'll have to ask Ruby later before she leaves." Macku said. Nokama returned her attention to the water. The Turaga let out a silent sigh. She hated lying but ever since the day they learned of the prophesied travelers from beyond the Great Barrier. Only a select few knew about the prophecy of the Great Integration and for good reason. If all of the Matoran knew about such a prophecy, Makuta would surely know about it. Only those who were most trusted were told and if memory served her well, the Sun Dragon too would carry this burden for a time until she shared this with the Snow Queen and the Traveler. The Sun Dragon was a protector and she was to be entrusted with such knowledge for the Child's safety lest she fall into Makuta's hands and free him from his chains.

The waters continued to churn and curl as the struggle between Toa and Rahi continued. The disturbance grew more violent with each passing second. It soon became apparent that something was coming out of the water. The people of Ga-Koro took a step as the Tarakava rose from the depths. However, something was different. This was made all the more obvious when it fainted on the lilypad and Gali stood victorious. In her left hook was the infected mask she pried from the lizard. The Toa stepped onto the lilypad and dropped the infected Kanohi before crushing it underfoot. The infected mask was instantly vaporized and was no more. Gali panted as she stood in front of the Matoran and the Turaga.

Soon the village erupted in cheers and celebration. Finally free from their prison and able to rebuild their home.

Gali looked down at Nokama who bowed in gratitude with a smile. Gali smiled back being happy to help.

It was then that Gali spotted a familiar face. Macku came running and bowed before her.

"Thank you, Toa Gali. We are eternally grateful for what you've done." Macku said.

"My pleasure," Gali said. It seems Mata Nui still watches over the Matoran even as he sleeps. Maybe this was more than simply retrieving a map. Thought the Toa of Water. Macku then spoke up

"If it is not too much trouble. One of the rescuers needs your help. The Tarakava got her pretty badly. Would you be willing to help?" Macku asked. Gali smiled.

"Yes, lead the way." Gali asked. Macku smiled and led Gali to the stretcher as Nokama followed behind. When Gali saw Ruby her eyes went wide and began to run at the sight of the silver-eyed huntress's condition. She wondered if this was who she thought it was and turned to Macku.

"Is she Ruby?" Gali asked. Macku nodded.

"She is."

Weiss followed the Toa of Earth and Ice underground. She opted to stay toward the back as she did not want to be next to Kopaka. Onua stood between the two as they walked through the cavern while guiding the heiress by the hand to compensate for the dark environment of the underground. The atmosphere was somewhat tense. Onua felt the tension in the air. While Kopaka remained his usual self, he sensed a change in Weiss from when they started the meeting. What started out as animosity towards the Toa of Ice was replaced with what he believed to be quiet remorse and regret. The heiress also seemed to look towards her arm as if it were hurt.

"Is something wrong, Weiss?" Onua asked.

"Hmm?" Weiss looked up at Onua.

"You seem distracted. Is there something bothering you?" Onua asked. Weiss shook her head.

"No, I'm fine. Just thinking…" Weiss answered.

"About what?" Onua asked. Weiss looked at the Toa and back at Kopaka up ahead and back to Onua.

"Nothing major. Just things back home." Weiss said.

"I see," Onua said and continued to walk along the trail. Weiss looked at Onua. His hunched-over posture helped fit with his environment. Unlike Kopaka who could see in infrared thanks to the Akaku, Onua had excellent night vision and offered to help Weiss navigate the cave. She found Onua's considerate nature quite refreshing. Still, she was a stranger in a strange place and had so many questions about both Mata Nui, its inhabitants, and its prophesied heroes, the Toa.

"Onua," Weiss asked. Onua turned his head.

"Yes, Weiss?" Onua asked.

"What happened when you first arrived? Do you know where you came from? Why did you go into those canisters?" Onua's expression was saddened by this question.

"I can't say I remember where I came from. My first memories were when I came out of the canister. I was scattered across the beach and quite literally pulled myself together." Onua said,

"Wait, what do you mean scattered?" Weiss asked.

"Well, when I first opened my eyes, I was missing my left arm and claw, both of my legs and feet and my mask." Onua replied. Weiss's eyes widened.

"You lost several limbs and you just snapped them back on like that?!" Weiss asked, stunned. Onua nodded.

"Yes, I will admit, it did hurt at first but as the tissue began to meld with the machinery again, I felt good as new. They all work quite well actually." Onua said, looking at his raised left arm and claw. Weiss just couldn't believe what she was hearing, how can someone just rebuild themselves after being torn apart by sheer force?

"How is that possible?" Weiss asked, "Normally, people with those types of injuries are either traumatized for life or they don't live very long after that."

"You must understand, we aren't fully organic like you. A good chunk of our bodies are mechanical and they contain a minor charge that can be used to repair ourselves in the case of serious injury. It would take a large amount of energy to disable it. Though I wish that we all had that." Onua said. His expression turned somber as he reflected.

"What happened?" Weiss asked. Onua sighed.

"After I reassembled myself and put on the Pakari I went on instinct and I saw smoke. I followed and I found a ship of some kind." Onua said.

"Wait, a ship? What did it look like?" Weiss asked.

"It was mostly gray with a cockpit for one pilot. One of its wings was missing and the other had just fallen over. It had an engine of some kind on the end of it." Onua answered. Weiss immediately recognized the description. Though she wanted to be sure.

"It must have been the ship me and my team were on before we crashed." Weiss said, "Di you find anyone else inside?" she asked. She wondered where the pilot was and if it was at all possible to find him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't. When I finally got inside I found out that something had broken through the window of the cockpit. It seems that Rahi had breached the ship and taken whoever was inside. I followed their trail until it vanished. I don't know where they went." Onua replied. Weiss was disheartened. She had hoped that if her team survived then the pilot might have too.

"Did you find anything that belonged to him?" Weiss asked with sad worry. Onua lowered his head.

"Just one thing. I'm not sure if it belonged to the person that was in that ship but I wanted to ensure it was buried with respect." Onua answered.

"What did you find?" Weiss asked worriedly.

"After the trail ended, all I found was an arm belonging to a masculine flesh creature. I can only assume he was of some help to you." Onua replied. Weiss was mortified. The thought of local wildlife mauling someone to death made her stomach churn and stop dead in her tracks. Onua felt this and paused to give her a moment.

"So, he's dead?" Weiss asked.

"I don't know, Weiss. I don't know." Onua said. The two caught up with Kopaka who had found the Pakari on the other side of a cliff over a chasm of lava. It was decided that they would camp for the time being and rest. Weiss had to admit this was the first time sleeping without Pajamas or a bag, something that baffled the Toa further. Onua buried himself up to his chest in the soil and did the same for Weiss before settling in for what was assumed to be the night. Kopaka did the same by encasing himself in a crystal of ice. However, unlike the heiress and the Toa of Earth, Kopaka was restless. The mask was right there, why didn't they rest after they had acquired it. It made the most sense. Why didn't they just walk over there and take it? Just then, Kopaka had an idea.

"That was fun." Yang said sarcastically between breaths as the Rock Worm fled underground. What originally had been her, Pohatu, and Tahu quickly devolved into her and Pohatu. Granted it was not by choice as they had been separated by a pack of Muaka and a herd Kane-Ra. Needless to say, the two combined groups of Rahi quickly split the group. Yang and Pohatu forced were forced to retreat and made it to Po-Wahi. Thus, they opted to find one of Pohatu's other Kanohi. According to the map, each Turaga wore one of the noble Kanohi that were hidden on the island. However, Turaga Onewa had recently summoned Pohatu to help prepare for an impending Rahi attack. There they pelted rocks and stone dust at swarms of poisonous rock worm Rahi. The same Rahi that had retreated underground.

Deciding to book it to Po-Koro, the two raced to the city and arrived quicker than planned and were soon informed of the threat of the Rock worms. Despite how formidable they were, the worms were easy prey. Yang saw it as "target practice" and soon the worms were driven away as Yang was left nearly exhausted as she was now. By then, night had fallen on Po-Koro, and the stars and shattered moon were the only sources of light.

"Do you think that's all of them?" Yang asked the Turaga.

Turaga Onewa wore the same white robes as his fellow Turaga while his noble Kanohi Komau, a tan mask with circuits merging to make a circular mouthpiece with vents on the top. He wielded a brownstone hammer and bore armored in tan and brown. Though the solemn expression in his orange eyes did little to comfort the Sun Dragon.

"Please tell me they won't come back." Yang exhaustedly pleaded. The Turaga shook his head.

"They aren't retreating." Onewa replied.

"Then what are they?-" Pohatu was cut off as a rumbling came from beneath them. Pohatu turned as his eyes widened in shock.

"Turaga, hop on! We need to evacuate the market now!" Pohatu ordered. Turaga Onewa jumped on his back and Yang used Ember Cilica and propelled herself toward the market as Pohatu ran in a mad dash to collect the Matoran and Get them out.

"Pohatu, mind telling me what's going…" Yang then felt the ground shake and rise before realizing what was happening. Jumping out of the way, Yang turned to see a giant, biomechanical worm emerge from the ground. Its maw wide open baring its teeth for all to see. Yang's eyes widened.

"Oh, crap." Yang said. The worm turned toward a fleeing Po-Matoran and charged. Yang sprang into action and grabbed the Po-Matoran as she ran. The two evaded the Rahi as Yang slid across the ground. Yang looked at the Po-Matoran. His body was a metal frame of tan and brown while he wore a powerless, black Kanohi Rau. The Po-Matoran blinked in surprise at the arrival of the Huntress.

"Epi-Toa?" the Matora of Stone asked. He never got an answer as Yang pushed the Po-Matoran away and jumped as the worm rammed at the earth.

"Ha! You'll have to be faster than that you overgrown-" Yang saw something that gave her pause. What she saw was a strand of hair. Not just any hair, but her hair. Her lilac eyes turned blood red and her hair began to glow. Rage engulfed her and at that moment, she slammed her fists together in rage.

"YOU MONSTER!" Yang screamed. In the heat of rage, she ran toward the worm as more emerged from the ground.

Pohatu rushed to the scene, having been alerted by the rage-filled screams of Yang, and saw her as she charged at the worms. Pohatu gasped and charged using his Kakama to grab Yang. Yang, however, saw him running and fired two shots into the ground, and jumped over the Toa of Stone. With a roar of fury, Yang unleashed her wrath on the Rock Worm. Blow after blow, shot after shot, the Rahi wailed in pain. The other worms charged and attempted to maul her. Pohatu acted fast. Kicking up rocks and boulders. Pohatu kicked the debris at the Rahi. Soon, Yang ran up the Rock worm which bore its maw to meet her as she jumped in the air. This was what she wanted.

The Rahi had no mask to remove and Makuta's influence was strong. There was only one option. The Rock Worm charged. Yang grabbed the brim of its mouth. Staring down the beast's numerous teeth. Yang raised one of her fists and fired shots into the worm's mouth.

"I!" one.

"HOPE!" two.

"YOU'RE!" three.

"HUNGRY!" four.

Yang fired one more shot and the Rahi screeched in pain. Smoke came out of the Rahi's mouth as it fell down. Yang jumped off and landed with a slide as the Rock Worm crashed into the ground. Yang got up and stared down the other Rahi. Pohatu took the opportunity to use his Kakama to strike down the remaining Rahi at break-neck speed. Yang's eyes widened in shock. The surviving Rock Worms retreated as they burrowed underground and fled. This time, for good.

"And… stay out!" Yang wheezed. Her red eyes returned to lilac. Yang looked at Pohatu who looked at her, worried.

"Are you alright?" Pohatu asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Yang answered.

"You sure? Those rock worms look like they did a number on you." Pohatu said

"I'm fine. I got one didn't I?" Yang responded. Yang's breathing got heavier. It was then she remembered something.

"Wait, don't Rock worms secret poison on their skin?" Yang asked. The Toa nodded. Yang's face looked tired.

Oh crap. She thought.

"Take me to a doctor."

It was easy as 3.14 and so simple too. Kopaka had formed the ice bridge over the lava and retrieve the Pakari.

Kopaka smiled, something he never did often. He got the mask without trying. He then saw Onua emerge from the ground and pulled out Weiss. Kopaka picked up the pace. Something told him things were about to get messy. A feeling that only grew strong as a faint rumbling sound was heard that grew louder and as the ground began to shake and the lava began to rise. Not good.

Kopaka began to skate across the cracking ice. He had to make it. Onua turned and looked at the Toa of Ice with terror.

"Kopaka, get out of there!" Onua exclaimed. The ice behind Kopaka shattered and quickly began to crumble. He was just feet away from the cliff. His skating turned to running. His running devolved into a sprint. He was almost there. Kopak lept into the air and raised his arm.

"Catch!" Kopaka yelled and threw the Pakari toward them. Onua caught the Kanohi and stored it away. Kopaka used his outstretched hand to reach for the ledge. He felt pain in his gut and blacked out. Weiss and Onua acted quickly and rushed to pull Kopaka further in but the quake only got worse. The ground began to crack beneath them. Onua saw what was happening.

"Oh no you don't." Onua stomped the ground as a green aura held the ledge together as they pull Kopaka up and away from the edge. Weiss began to pant.

"Well, that's one problem down, what about the cave?" Weiss asked between breaths. Onua only responded by digging and digging away.

"Follow me!" Onua said facing the wall. Weiss looked back at the unconscious Kopaka and picked him up and carried him with his arm over her shoulder and entered the tunnel as Onua continued to dig.

Kopaka was floating. He wasn't quite sure what his current situation was. Was he dead? Unconscious? He wasn't sure. What he was sure of was the black void that surrounded him.

Where… am I? Kopaka thought. He then saw a faint light in the distance. The Toa of Ice attempted to reach it but was prevented when the light immediately brightened. Kopaka covered his eyes until his eyes adjusted. When he finally looked in front, his ice-blue eyes widened in shock and awe at what, or who stood before him.

"Who are you?" Kopaka asked.

One of the two titans looked at him and spoke.

"We are what you and your fellow Toa must become?"

The ground was more stable now. The quakes had stopped. The three were safe.

"Close call much?" Weiss asked rhetorically. Onua had no response. He had continued to dig in silence. With the immediate danger now gone, the Toa of Earth was able to slow down to a more steady pace. Soon, he found a lightstone and set it down.

"Until Kopaka wakes up, we'll have to wait here." Onua said as he turned to help Weiss lay down Kopaka. The Toa and the Heiress sat down. Onua took out the great Pakari.

"At least we got the Kanohi before the chamber collapsed." Onua said

"Yeah, but it almost cost us our lives." Weiss said.

"True, but we still have it and that is a start." Onua said. Weiss grew curious, both Onua and Kopaka had to collect six great and noble kanohi masks each and so far they found five masks in total between both noble and great masks.

"How many does that mask make for Kopaka?" Weiss asked. Onua began to think.

"Let's see…" Onua began. The Toa of Earth recalled all the noble kanohi they had found mixed the number of great kanohi. Onua hummed in surprised.

"That makes three noble masks for Kopaka, one noble mask for me, and two for me with two great masks for both of us." Onua stated. Weiss was confused.

"What about the fifth one we found. The one that looked like Tahu's?" Weiss asked. Onua smiled.

"Ah, that second Hau we found. Remember that first one we found was my Kanohi Hau and Kopaka has already found his. I assume we will need to hand it over to one of the others when we meet again." Onua answered

"When do you think that will be?" Weiss asked.

"Soon." Onua answered. The two were surprised as Kopaka gave a quick gasp as he jolted awake. He quickly rose to his feet with his ice sword drawn towards where they came from. Visibly shaken Kopaka looked ahead and quickly realized he was still underground. Kopaka patted his chest and stomach, then touched his face and mask with one hand. The Toa of Ice exhaled and sheathed his sword and put away his shield.

"Is everything alright?" Onua asked. Kopaka turned to see Onua and Weiss looking at him Weiss was visibly scared by his sudden reaction while Onua had a look of concern. Kopaka shook his head as she tried to let go of his brief panic.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." Kopaka answered. The Toa of Ice still wasn't sure what had happened in his mind.

Was it all a dream?

"Kopaka, catch." Kopaka looked up as Onua tossed him the Pakari he gave him earlier. He looked at the mask and back to the Toa of Earth. Who smiled.

"Next time, please do try to be more careful. We won't win this fight without you." Onua said as he returned to digging. Kopaka glared at Onua as if he had been insulted and began his walk again. Weiss saw this and had enough. The heiress grabbed Kopaka's arm and he stopped.

"Let go." he said.

"No" Weiss replied. Her voice as stern as the ice Kopaka wielded. The air quickly became dense and cold around the two as Kopaka yanked his arm away from Weiss.

"This is not the time to be standing around. We need to move." Kopaka replied. His tone of voice never rose or fell but his demeanor and wording held the weight of a glacier and blizzard wrapped in one.

"And you need to apologize." Weiss demanded. Kopaka glared at the heiress.

"For what?"

"For how cold you've been and not just to me but to Pohatu, my friends, the rest of the Toa. It's like you don't care about what happens to us." Weiss said. Kopaka glared at Weiss for her accusation.

"None of us asked to be here. We'll split up soon eventually. You'd be safer if you went and found your friend." Kopaka replied.

"I don't need protecting and while Ruby doesn't either, the sooner we find her, the sooner we can go home." Weiss said.

"Good, that way you'll be safe." Kopaka said. Weiss paused. She never thought she'd hear him say that. Though the fact he said it raised several questions.

"Why safe?" asked the heiress. Kopaka stayed silent for a moment before pulling his arm away.

"None of you should be here. I don't why or how you got here but you are. You have your own world to protect and yet Mata Nui brought you here. Something about that doesn't seem right and if Makuta finds out, you and your friends might be in danger. I won't let that happen. Besides, even if nothing happens, it won't last. Everything grows cold like ice and in time, it consumes and preserves everything. All in an attempt to save life but never truly saving it. In the end, ice will be all that remains." Kopaka said. His words cut like the sword he wielded. Weiss was surprised.

"Wow." Weiss said.

"What?" Kopaka replied.

"For someone as cold as the element he wields, I never thought you had such a warm heart." Weiss answered, empathetically. Kopaka didn't reply. Simply giving a small, genuine smile before turning away. Kopaka put on the Pakari as it faded away back to his Akaku and began his walk forward. As they caught up to Onua, Kopaka kept to himself and looked at the Toa of Earth.

"Onua," Kopaka called. Onua turned to his fellow Toa.

"Yes?" he asked. Kopaka only said one word in response causing Weiss to smile as he did so.

"Thanks."

Ruby opened her eyes, slowly. She felt an ache in the back of her head and began to rise. Then the feeling of being stabbed by a thousand needles covered her chest. Ruby winced in pain.

"Easy, friend Ruby. You need your rest." a voice said. Ruby slowly turned her head and saw two masked faces. The familiar mask of Turaga Nokama's Kanohi Rau and the new mask of Gali's Kanohi Kau Kau. Nokama walked towards Ruby.

"You're lucky to be alive. Had Gali not arrived when she did, we all might not be here today." the Turage of Ga-Koro said. Gali leaned forward to face Ruby while giving enough space to call her own.

"Hello, Ruby." Gali said. Ruby smiled.

"Hi… there." Ruby groaned out in response. Gali placed her hand on Ruby's. Water began to envelop her arm and seemed to seep into her flesh and bones. There was a brief pain followed by a soothing sensation. Gali then took her other hand and joined both on the one Gali held in the enveloped water.

"Your injuries may be severe and it will take time for you to recover but this comfort I can give. My name is Gali, Toa of Water and my fellow Toa and I have met your friends. They are all alive and they are with us looking for you." Gali turned to look outside and saw Takua as he was talking with several Ga-Matoran. A smile brims his face as he tells him about his adventures on the island. Gali turns back to Ruby.

"I believe that you and Takua are destined for a greater purpose but for what reason, I cannot say. Mata Nui works in ways that we cannot fathom. When you recover, follow Takua and be there for him. If you do, I believe you will find your friends. This, also, is my promise. When we have defeated The Makuta, I promise you we will get you and your friends home." Gali says. Ruby smiles at the Toa of Water's comforting words. Gali rose to her feet.

"Until that day, rest and recover, stay with Takua, and find us." Gali said, the Toa lets go of Ruby's hand as water begins to cover her whole body and yet, she still breathes. Soon the water dissipates, and Ruby feels a sense of relief wash over her like a wave. Ruby closes her eyes and sleeps. Gali leaves and walks away.

Not long after, Ruby smiles as she sleeps, dreaming of her reunion.

A/N: So like I said, a lot has happened between now and the last chapter. Volume 9 wrapped up for one and I have to say, while I think the Volume still suffers from many of the problems that other volumes have had, it is probably the best volume since Volume 4 with the last three episodes being the best in the volume overall. I really can't wait to see where we go next with Volume 10 and I hope it gets greenlit as the final volume for the series. It would be a nice even number to end the series and give it a proper send-off.

Also, Transformers Rise of the Beasts came out and it was a blast. Definitely a great start to Hasbro and Paramount's trilogy of films for Transformers. Truthfully, I want to see Frank Welker as Megatron and Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime one more time at least. With Transformers One coming out next year and RWBY x Justice League being a little fun ride, I can't wait to see what's next.

As for my other crossover, I may start uploading that after this story is done. It's a much smaller tale in comparison to The Legend of RWBY but definitely a fun ride. To give you a hint as to what the crossover is, imagine if a certain vampire went to Japan.

That's all for now. See you next time When we wrap up the Arrival arc and begin to move forward.

Until then, God bless and live life to the fullest.
