DarkFoxKit: Oh dear, looks like we were a day late from the planned update day. Hey, Onyx- … Onyx? You okay?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': *Is in a heap on the floor, surrounding by different piles of items* So… many… chores… Need a day off.

DarkFoxKit: Yeesh, look at yourself! You've overworked yourself to the bone! We need to get you some R&R! Let's get you into a nice hot bath.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': But… we need to do the ANs and then the reviews. Maybe I can bathe before the reviews?

DarkFoxKit: Oh, you can bathe while talking to me, it'll count as an AN~

Darzdragon 'Onyx': *Blushes* Fox, I would rather not bathe with the readers nearby. I know this is a mature story, but I am a dragoness that prefers her privacy.

DarkFoxKit: Well, you might want to brace yourself for future ANs then.

Darzdragon 'Onyx': W-why…?

DarkFoxKit: Weeeeell, you know how Mew would often talk to us in our Child of Mew stories?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Are you saying Echo is going to be joining us?

DarkFoxKit: Maybe not Echo exactly, but another… mischievous, god-like feline.

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': No… you don't mean… her do you?

DarkFoxKit: … Sooooo… how about that bath?

Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Have fun with chapter two, readers! Bye! *Sprints off to the bathroom*

Chapter 2: Back to Amity Park

Echo all but jumped out of the closed door of Ember's lair, and yelped as he tried to swim up to Juliette. Juliette noticed that Echo looked and probably felt awkward as hell in this strange place. The gravity was non-existent, at least that was what it felt like to Juliette. Echo also looked like he was having a hard time breathing.

"Just fucking great…" Juliette cussed as she spun herself around, looking in every direction. "How the hell are we supposed to get to the living world now? I don't see anyone around anywhere. All I see are thousands of doors."

"You really do like cussing when you're under pressure, don't you?" Echo remarked, trying not to appear strained. "I'm like, three years old, maybe you shouldn't be cussing so much."

"You may be 'three' but you're a teenager and know what cursing is," Juliette retorted. "Meaning it doesn't matter if I cuss like a sailor."

"Fine, but don't cuss if you meet Danny. He's too pure for that," Echo warned. "Anyways, I suppose since we're here, we'll have to try to float our way out. Whatever you do, don't try to envision gravity."

"Oh? What happens if I do?" Juliette asked with a thoughtful expression.

"You'll fall into the endless abyss," Echo warned.

"That's if I think gravity is automatically down," Juliette pointed out with a grin. "What if I think that the gravitational force is coming from in front of me? Like… say that floating island in the very distance."

Juliette gave it some critical thought and suddenly found herself being pulled towards the island before Echo could say anything.

"Good~ It works just like I was hoping." Juliette smiled as she began to envision a swirling portal pulling her. "What color is the portal to the Ghost Realm?!"

Echo was trying to swim towards her, though he was looking exhausted even though he barely moved. "Stop falling and maybe I can tell you!"

Juliette gave a nod before she envisioned herself being pulled equally by every direction.

"You know what? You're crazy," Echo bluntly stated when he caught up to her, sweating quite a bit.

"I may be crazy, but sometimes crazy works best," Juliette countered with a cocky smirk. "If I can imagine the ghost portal in perfect detail, perhaps I can envision it pulling on me and I'll actually be pulled towards it."

"You can try." Echo frowned. "But I don't think it'll… ah, what the heck. It's a green swirling portal."

"Any extra details will help," Juliette said. "Any extra colors, or perhaps what direction the swirl is flowing?"

"Not much to say. It's just a neon green swirl, with some darker shades of green between it. It's… umm… swirling to the left… I think? That's not a detail one would pay attention to," Echo informed. "Oh! It also has a tiny bit of white swirling in it."

Juliette did her best to envision this. However, there was no pull of gravity.

"Hmm… it's probably not close enough for it to actually pull me," Juliette concluded. "There might be a tiny bit of a pull, but not enough to move me or enough for me to feel."

Echo gave a thoughtful look, before he decided on something. "Maybe we can ask Foxfire then, she might be able to sniff a way out for us."

"Foxfire?" Juliette raised a brow.

"Uh-huh," Echo answered before he frowned a little. "... I think she's shy though. So a representative will have to do. You don't mind, do you?"

"I don't mind, I guess." Juliette shrugged.

"Good, then let's get started," Echo snapped a finger.

Suddenly, a small blue flame appeared in front of Echo, making Juliette float back a little. The small blue flame then shaped itself into a tiny fox. The fiery fox looked like a cuter, baby version of the intimidating blue fire fox Juliette had seen when she was with Toriel.

Huh… was Foxfire that big fiery fox that saved Toriel and I? Juliette inwardly asked as she looked at the small blue flaming fox.

The fiery fox kit made a small noise.

"Could you sniff a way out of here for us?" Echo asked.

The fiery fox kit began to sniff around. Juliette watched in fascination as the fiery fox kit floated in different directions, trying to pick up the strongest scent of… whatever a Ghost Portal would smell like. Eventually, the fiery fox kit stopped and tilted its head.

"She wants us to follow her," Echo noted. "Come on, let's go. And no using gravitational pulls, you'll end up falling past both of us."

"Then how am I supposed to move? Doggy paddle?" Juliette questioned, a little annoyed at the prospect that she would have to 'swim' through the world in a leather outfit that would no doubt quickly get uncomfortable.

"Then how about you step into the Void so I can just get you to the portal faster?" Echo suggested. "If you don't want to go into the Void, then you'll have to settle for swimming. Though I don't know how long I could… um… nevermind."

Juliette sighed and grumbled a little, weighing her two options. I don't sense any Void Creatures nearby, so I'm probably safe to go into the Void… let's just hope I won't need to step out for another hour or two… "Fine… give me a moment and stand to the side a little, I've never entered the Void with anyone too close to me and I'd rather not find out if anything special happens if someone is near me."

Echo and the fiery fox kit both floated away from Juliette, giving her a wide berth to do whatever she needed to do.

Juliette closed her eyes and concentrated. Juliette mentally reached into her, grasping at a faint, static-filled heart.

"Here we go." Juliette stepped forward, the air around her shifting and warping again before there was a soft explosion of noise.

Echo let out a whistle. "So that's how you do it, pretty cool. You went from color to gray in the span of a second."

"I'm not gray, just a bit more dull," Juliette pointed out. "I'm still black and silver. The biggest change is probably that my eye colors now are a very dull shade of what they normally are, which is one red and one pink colored eye."

Echo looked closely at Juliette before giving a small nod. "Huh… that you are. Anyways, this will be much quicker now."

Juliette suddenly had a harder time breathing, her lungs almost felt like they were burning, and the air itself started to sting her skin.

"Good gods… what the hell is up with the air…?" Juliette grunted.

"Oh… that's what happens to Void beings who come into the world of the dead… we're not exactly welcomed here…" Echo answered softly.

"So… are you feeling this?" Juliette questioned. "If so… how are you not showing any signs of strain or pain?"

"I've had… practice… but it will start to get worse if we stay here too long," Echo warned. "Foxfire, I think you know what to do."

The little fiery fox kit approached them, before it suddenly grew into a much bigger fox. It wasn't as big as it was when she first saw it, but it was pretty big.

"We can ride her back to the portal now, and she's really fast," Echo explained.

"Her flames won't burn me, will they?" Juliette worriedly asked, trying her best to ignore the constant caustic feeling of the air. "I'd… rather not be set on fire while already feeling like I'm being dissolved by the air…"

"She…" Echo frowned a little. "Huh… come to think of it, I never had anyone other than me ride on her before… I mean she doesn't burn me, so I doubt she'd burn you unless you provoke her."

"Well, just to be sure… Foxfire, would you please mind not burning me?" Juliette requested.

Foxfire looked at Juliette, before giving a slow nod.

"If you're still unsure, you could reach out your hand and touch her. That way if it does burn, you can quickly pull back your hand," Echo suggested. "Not that you would feel any real pain here, but since you're part living, better safe than sorry."

"I was planning to do that after I made my request to Foxfire," Juliette responded as she reached out a hand towards Foxfire. I swear, if I came to the Void only for me to not be able to ride Foxfire and still have to swim to the portal, I'm going to lose it.

Juliette stopped for a second or two before her hand reached Foxfire's head. Foxfire's head felt incredibly warm, but not burning, thankfully. The flames almost felt like really warm fur.

Juliette gave a smile. "Thank you, Foxfire."

Echo looked a little embarrassed, and Juliette was sure that if he could, he'd be blushing.

"I'm going to climb onto your back now," Juliette informed, waiting a few moments before she moved herself to be sitting on Foxfire's back.

Echo made a jump, despite not having gravity, and landed in front of Juliette. As soon as both passengers were on, Foxfire took off. Juliette had to hold onto Echo's waist, because Foxfire moved so fast that she almost fell off. Echo coughed a little, likely surprised by Juliette's touch, or maybe it was the acidic air.

"Let me guess, the first time in three years that someone has touched you or wrapped their arms around you?~" Juliette snickered, hoping to distract herself from the pain in her lungs.

"It's so weeeeeird," Echo admitted, whining a little.

Juliette laughed at that. "I'd rather not fall off, so you'll have to put up with it for now."

"Oh gosh, you have actual body heat. I can feel you squeezing me, so this is what it's like being squeezed in the torso area," Echo observed, looking a little freaked out.

"Well this isn't technically a full blown hug, but it's similar," Juliette informed. "Now please, try to stay calm."

It was then Juliette felt some rips in the boy's clothes that she didn't notice were there before.

"Echo… what are these rips I'm feeling on your shirt?" Juliette raised a brow. Hmm… they could be a sign that Echo wasn't actually born here like he thinks… he could've ended up here while being attacked or something.

"What? Oh, those have been there since I came into being," Echo answered, confirming Juliette's suspicions. "I couldn't tell you how they got there though."

"Have you ever thought that you got them when you were forced here by something?" Juliette inquired. "I mean, if you truly simply came into being in the Void, why would you have clothes? Why wouldn't you be a child? Also, I don't think many beings that start in the Void would have powers like yours."

"What? Like the power to summon a fiery fox?" Echo chuckled. "The fox came to me actually, though I don't know why she would. While I can't actually talk to her, at least I know I'm not completely alone."

Echo didn't answer Juliette's questions about why he had clothes or why he wasn't a child. It was likely Echo forgot to answer the questions, but it could also be because he didn't want to answer them.

"I don't think you're a simple Void Walker, Echo," Juliette bluntly stated. "I… have a feeling that you are more similar to me, that you were once living, and something cast you into the Void. But unlike me, you were completely cast into the Void instead of just half cast."

Echo gave a sigh. "Come on, Juliette, we've been over this. It doesn't matter if I had existed before or not. I don't exist now, and I never will again."

"I wouldn't say never," Juliette responded. "I don't know… perhaps the next time I step out of the Void, I can try to bring you with me."

"No! Don't you ever talk like that," Echo hissed, turning his head back to Juliette. "Talking like that will bring more Void Creatures towards you. And besides, no matter what you do, you can't 'help' me. So stop trying."

"I should probably let you know something, Echo," Juliette chuckled. "When I set my mind to something I won't stop, no matter what gets in my way. Meaning you can try to tell me not to try, but since I make decisions for myself, I can decide if I want to help you or leave you as you are. Oh and guess what… I've decided to try and help you~"

Echo groaned, turning his head away. "A choice like that will lead the road to madness. You can't help what doesn't exist. Why would you choose that road? You hardly even know me. Not that there's much of a 'me' to get to know."

"Frankly, I think you're wrong," Juliette pointedly replied. "You definitely do exist, considering I'm touching you right now. As for there being hardly any of you to get to know, I think you're cutting yourself short. I mean the fact that you have a larger variety of emotions without being a Void Creature shows that there is a bit more to you."

"What you see as emotions in me, is just my way of projecting how I see the living act," Echo retorted. "None of it is actually real."

"You're wrong." Juliette shook her head. "If you were simply faking some of the emotions, then they wouldn't feel genuine. Since we've met, I have actually noticed some genuine emotions coming from you. For instance, curiosity."

Echo rubbed his head, as if he was getting a headache. Foxfire finally stopped, floating in front of a swirling portal.

"We're here," Echo announced, still not looking at Juliette.

Juliette gave a nod and unwrapped her arms from Echo's waist before she got off Foxfire's back.

Foxfire dissipated into nothing as soon as Juliette had gotten off, making Echo float down. Juliette was about to go through the portal, but Echo took her arm. Echo let go immediately after, looking as if his hand that touched her arm just burned.

"Hm?" Juliette asked as she turned to look at Echo.

"You should let me go out first. I… don't think we'll be alone when we get out," Echo said quietly.

"Why would it matter who went first? We're both in the Void," Juliette pointedly asked. "Are you asking me to let you go first?"

Echo frowned a little before Juliette smirked, and took his hand with one of her tails, making him yelp in shock as she pulled him into the portal.

"If you aren't going to answer, then we'll go together~" Juliette giggled as they entered the portal.

"W-wait a minute!" Echo yelped.

As soon as they got on the other side, Juliette could see they were in the middle of a lab. There were all sorts of strange gadgets that looked pretty high tech and dangerous. Juliette also noticed that the air was much easier to breathe now, no more stinging feeling, and burning lungs to worry about.

"Interesting…" Juliette commented as she unwrapped her tail from Echo's hand. "Everything here looks pretty high tech and expensive… as well as explosive."

"You really are crazy, you know that?" Echo grumbled. "When I was saying maybe I should go first, I was more concerned about there being Void Creatures on the other side. They often come to this place."

"They do?" Juliette raised a brow as she looked around. "I can see why, but I can also see that this place could be easily protected."

"If only the ghost shield worked on Void Creatures…" Echo pouted. "Then again, if they did, I probably wouldn't be able to come here."

"If you'd like, I could teach you how to put up Void Barriers," Juliette offered. "Ones that would let you and those you trust pass through, but would keep Void Creatures out. I've used it occasionally when I set up a longer duration home."

"Void… Barriers?" Echo blinked. "That's a thing?"

"Yep." Juliette confirmed with a nod. "Though I can't really teach you now with these mittens on me as I need my hands free to create barriers."

Echo looked at her mittens. "You can't take those off?"

"How do you propose I take them off with no way to grip them?" Juliette pointedly asked in response.

"No need to bite my head off," Echo rolled his eyes before he walked to the stairs that lead up. "You coming or what?"

Juliette nodded before she followed Echo over to the stairs. Echo and Juliette easily walked through the door, and came into a kitchen. Juliette was surprised to see a large man wearing a bright orange jumpsuit with some black on it, rummaging through the fridge.

Hmmm… Juliette looked at the man. I feel like I've seen him on the cover of a magazine at one point…

Echo looked at the man fondly, yet with also with a little bit of resentment. "In case you're wondering, that's Jack Fenton. He's a ghost hunter, he often invents stuff to harm or capture ghosts. His aim isn't too great though. He often comes down here for his midnight snack around this time. He can be a lovable goofball though, I can tell he truly loves his family, and will do anything to protect them."

"Ahhh, so that means it's around midnight right now," Juliette surmised.

"Most likely," Echo stated before he walked on.

Juliette followed Echo into, what she assumed to be, the living room. There, they saw a woman wearing a teal jumpsuit with a black belt, black gloves, and black boots. She had red goggles on, and appeared to be messing with a handheld device on the coffee table.

"That's Maddie Fenton," Echo explained. "She's Jack's wife, and is also a ghost hunter. She's much more deadly with her aim, and much more… competent. She and Jack really hate ghosts, they have this idea that all ghosts are evil, and can't feel pain. She-"

"She's also a world renowned inventor," Juliette remembered.

"Yes, that too," Echo confirmed. "But she is also a loving mother, while fighting ghosts keeps her and Jack busy, they are protective of their children. Though that might also be a bad thing, especially if Danny tried to approach his own sister in his ghost form…"

"So does that mean Danny Phantom's human form is Danny Fenton?" Juliette raised a brow. "Really? Nobody has put those two together?"

"Well, nobody had considered it possible for someone to be a human and a ghost. People make themselves stupid by coming up with other explanations to something they don't understand," Echo shrugged. "Jack and Maddie, two people who absolutely despise ghosts, especially Phantom, would never want to see Phantom as their son. I guess that's why Danny never told them, he feared they would never accept him if they knew. That and he's also worried about hurting them when they realize they've been hunting, hating, and hurting their own son."

"That's… honestly stupid," Juliette remarked. "According to you, they value and cherish family above all else. Meaning if Danny told them, they very likely would listen to him and not try to attack him. However, the problem with that is that they either would have to accept he's half ghost and possibly help him out, that would be the best outcome. Or… they might try to separate him from his ghost half, which… probably would end very poorly."

"I've seen some possibilities like that…" Echo sighed. "There aren't that many that leads to the best possible outcome."

"What… do you mean by 'you've seen some possibilities'...?" Juliette questioned.

Echo turned his head to the stairs. "I sometimes get visions of possible futures. I ask questions of what could happen, and I see the possibilities. Though it's not like it helps, since I can't warn anyone of it."

"Yeah… that's… not normal," Juliette informed after a few moments. "First off you have Foxfire as a companion, or something, and now you're telling me you have the ability to see possible futures? Yeah, you definitely aren't a run of the mill Void Walker."

"How would you know? There's nothing normal about a Void Creature," Echo darkly hissed before he started going up the stairs instead of going through the front door.

Juliette looked up the stairs and sighed before she started walking towards the front door. I've… laid out a lot already, I should give him some time to process it all…

"Juliette," Echo suddenly called. "There are two more people I would like you to see before you leave."

"You sure?" Juliette questioned. It's not polite to stay in someone's home for too long without permission…

"Yeah, please?" Echo slightly begged. "It's just… I want you to at least see the people I spend most of my time observing… and protecting."

Juliette let out a small sigh. "Fine… I still have an hour or so until I can return to the living world, so why not?"

Juliette turned away from the door and started walking up the stairs. I won't point anything else out to Echo for now.

Echo led Juliette into another room upstairs, this room was a bit pink. There were shelves of books, a desk with a laptop on it, and of course, a bed with someone sleeping on it.

Looks like a stereotypical girl's room… well minus all the books that look like they would be college level. Juliette observed. The person laying in bed must really be into studying and gaining knowledge.

"This is…" Echo looked down at the person sleeping in bed.

Juliette looked closer at the figure in the bed, seeing it appeared to be a teenage girl with long, bright orange hair, cuddling with a teddy bear that had gray, spiky hair, and a lab coat.

"Jasmine Fenton, or as most call her, Jazz. I don't know why, but that teddy bear she's cuddling with gives me the creeps," Echo informed.

"I think it's fitting," Juliette responded. "After all, the girl looks like she really loves knowledge and that bear is styled like one of the greater human scientists named Albert Einstein."

"Yeah, Jazz loves studying psychology. She once believed herself to be mature enough to be considered an adult mentally. That unfortunately made things harder for Danny when he had to fight with a ghost called Youngblood. She found out Danny's secret one day when he, unknowingly, transformed in front of her. She kept it from him until something really big happened, and he found out. Jazz… wasn't quite in sync with the team, in fact she kept capturing Danny in his own Fenton Thermos over and over again," Echo chuckled.

"Sounds like a scene out of a cartoon," Juliette chuckled as well.

Echo nodded. "Yeah, but eventually, she managed to get her footing on the team. She knew a lot of first aid, so she could help patch Danny up when he came home. She also helps him mentally whenever he needs to talk to someone. One last thing she does for Danny is that, when he is home, she helps him with his homework so he won't be behind as he has less time for homework with ghosts always showing up."

"That's very nice of her," Juliette stated.

"She's Danny's big sister, and she loves him. She would do whatever she could to help him…" Echo sighed. "Something I wish I could do as well."

"Perhaps-" Juliette started before she shook her head. "You do plenty for him. After all, you said you protected him, I assume from Void Creatures."

"Of course. Nobody else could, so that's the best I can do for him," Echo answered. "Danny is half living, like you are, but he's also half dead. That makes him extremely unique, even among Void Creatures."

Juliette gave a nod of understanding. "It would make him twice as large a target. Both something they could feed off of, as well as something to fear and want to destroy or at least corrupt."

Echo suddenly shivered, not a small shiver, but trembled as if he was terrified.

"Something wrong?" Juliette inquired.

"I get… I don't want to say nightmares, since I can't dream, but… I can't help but get these… images in my head, of a very… scary, evil-looking, powerful Danny Phantom, who was corrupted by… something," Echo admitted, still shaking a little.

Could be a memory. Juliette silently commented. "Perhaps it's just your… visions showing you the worst timelines or something? Or perhaps you are daydreaming, as you don't need to be asleep in order to do that. Daydreaming nightmares can simply happen when you dedicate a lot of focus, concentration, and energy onto something like your worries."

"I don't know, maybe? But my visions never affected me… so… strongly like that," Echo remarked.

"There's only one other possibility it could be, but you probably won't accept it," Juliette informed.

Echo sighed before he turned around. "You're probably right. Now… there's one more person to show you before we go."

"I assume the last person you plan on introducing me to is the half ghost celebrity himself?" Juliette questioned with a small smile.

"How ever could you have guessed?" Echo chuckled.

"Process of elimination," Juliette answered with a straight face, even though she knew it was a rhetorical question, in hopes she might get some other emotions from Echo.

"Right…" Echo sighed. "This way."

Echo led Juliette out of Jazz's room, and walked down the hallway a little. There was another door on the left side of the hallway, while Jazz's room had been on the right side. Echo took a deep breath and walked through the door. Before Juliette could walk through herself, however, she suddenly heard Echo screaming.

"Echo?!" Juliette called out before she ran into the room.

There were Void Creatures all over the place. Someone who looked like Echo was in bed, groaning as if he was in a nightmare. But Juliette took a second longer to look at these Void Creatures, and realized that they weren't exactly Void Creatures, they were similar to Void Creatures, but they weren't hostile.

"Okay!" Juliette yelled, seeing Echo was frozen. "All of you are trespassing! Leave immediately or you will be purged!"

The Void Creatures all stopped what they were doing and looked at Echo and Juliette.

"You will not be allowed to continue what you were doing," Juliette informed. "You all have two choices. Leave and be spared from being purged, or stay here and try to futilely fight us."

"How did I not sense these guys!?" Echo growled, looking ready to fly off into a raging frenzy.

"Calm yourself, Echo!" Juliette ordered. "It's because these Void Creatures aren't entirely Void Creatures. They're not mindless beings simply moving around on instinct. These Void Spirits, as I call them, are able to hide themselves due to their level of sentience. They aren't completely Void Walkers, but they are still aware and can think for themselves."

"What the devil are Void Spirits?" Echo demanded in confusion.

"Like I just said, they are beings of the Void that aren't as sentient as Void Walkers, but don't run off of instincts," Juliette repeated in annoyance. "Now, all of you have to the count of 5 to leave otherwise you will be forcibly removed."

"What are you all doing in this room in the first place?!" Echo shouted to the Void Spirits.

The Void Spirits didn't give an answer, but some of them flew out of the walls and windows. A big, bat-like Void Spirit floated over the sleeping boy's head.

"One," Juliette started counting. "Two." Juliette's eyes began to glow a bit more brightly, regaining their original color as she started focusing on the energy she had regained. "Three."

The bat suddenly spread out its wings, and its eyes glowed a bright red. Suddenly, a projection appeared before them. A powerful looking ghost, who looked a little similar to Danny Phantom, but older, with flaming white hair, and teal skin, was grinning evilly before them.

Juliette stopped counting and looked at the projection in confusion. "Are you… trying to console the boy? Get rid of his nightmare?"

The bat nodded in response. Juliette's eyes returned to it's duller pink and red as she let go of the energy she was gathering.

Juliette let out a sigh. "I assume there's been very little progress?"

The bat looked down, its ears lowering.

"Do you have Transference?" Juliette inquired before looking at Echo. "The ability to take someone into the mind of a living being."

Echo stared at Juliette, blinking, before looking back at the projection of the older, evil Danny Phantom.

"This isn't my first rodeo with going into someone's mind to clear them of a serious nightmare," Juliette informed. "Normally I could try and go into the being's mind myself, but with these GODS DAMNED MITTENS, I can't exactly do that. Besides, I've only done it a few times and the ease of entering one's mind differs from person to person."

"Go into a living being's mi- DO YOU KNOW HOW CRAZY THAT SOUNDS!?" Echo all but shouted.

"Echo, please remember everything I've done so far," Juliette pointed out. "I don't give a crap if something is crazy if it is the best way to do something. If we don't go into Danny's mind, he could be consumed by his nightmare or create a new, very powerful, Void Creature that even Foxfire won't be able to stop."

"Look, I'm not saying that it's crazy as in impossible. Danny himself has gone into people's dreams before, but…" Echo frowned. "You… you know how I am with ghost lairs, right? I… I can't handle going into someone's mind."

"Tell me, Echo, would you rather discard your fears of going into ghost lairs and minds this one time and help out someone you try your hardest to protect? Or are you going to let me go in alone with no way to defend myself in the hopes that I can somehow single handedly help Danny?" Juliette questioned.

"This… this isn't the first time Danny's had this nightmare though…" Echo frowned.

"Then perhaps we should help him out and stop it from ever happening again," Juliette replied pointedly. "The more often he has this nightmare the more likely he will unknowingly spawn an ungodly powerful Void Creature that will kill everything in this city. One that could even affect the physical world and flatten buildings."

"Uuuugh…" Echo groaned, looking at the boy's struggling face. "Uuuuuuuugh… Okay… Juliette, I'll do it, for Danny. But I must warn you, the mind of the living, even the dead, are very complex. There's a good chance we could get lost in there, maybe even forever if we're not careful."

"Like I said, I've had some experience before." Juliette shrugged before she looked back at the bat. "So, do you have Transference?"

The bat nodded.

"Good," Juliette said before she wrapped an arm around Echo's shoulder and made him step towards the bat with her. "We're both going to go in to help this boy out. When he is no longer having a nightmare, bring us out."

The bat nodded again, before it spread out its wings. The wings began to glow a mysterious white light.

"You better brace yourself," Juliette warned.

"This is going to suck," Echo groaned.

"No, it's just going to feel strange for a few moments," Juliette chuckled, knowing that Echo wasn't talking about the Transference but actually going into Danny's mind.

The bat released a white beam of light that hit both Juliette and Echo. Echo let out a yelp as they were sucked into the white beam and were being carried through a vortex.

When Echo managed to open his eyes, he found himself in a strange looking hallway.

"Hmmm… not as bad as some minds I've seen," Juliette commented. "There aren't many signs of extreme stress that would be a warning sign of a mental collapse. I mean sure, there are a few bits of heavy strain here and there, but he won't become a vegetable due to mental collapse anytime soon."

Echo stood up and looked around at his surroundings. Juliette was beside him, her arm no longer around his shoulder. The hallway looked long. The walls looked green and black, and there were lots of doors on both sides of the hallways. The doors had an eerie glow to them, each one seemed forbidden to enter.

"So… now what do we do?" Echo asked, feeling nervous.

"We look for the one door that is open," Juliette answered. "As there will be a door open that is causing this nightmare. Once we find said door, we go in and stop the nightmare from continuing."

"Um… which door?" Echo frowned. "There's like hundreds of them here."

Juliette sighed and rubbed her head in frustration. "LISTEN TO MY WORDS, Echo! Look for the OPEN door! That is the one that is active and is causing the nightmare! As you can see, all the doors around us are closed!"

"I'm sorry! I just don't like being here!" Echo responded with a small whine. Wait… why did I just make that noise? That's something only living beings or ghosts are capable of doing when they are forced into a situation they are uncomfortable with. Ugh, the longer I'm with Juliette, the more I'm acting like a living. It's so weird.

Echo and Juliette began walking down the hall. The hall started to shift the longer they walked. Suddenly it felt colder, the hallway grew larger, wider, and snow began to cover the place. Doors spread out, floating, similar to the doors in the Ghost Zone.

"We're getting closer," Juliette commented. "These are more recently made memo- doors. They also clearly seem to be made since the time he became half ghost."

"Mm-mmm…" Echo shivered, feeling incredibly cold. "I envy your fur right now." Wait… how am I feeling cold? Is it because I'm in a living's mind? Could my own mind grasp the concept of being cold?

Juliette's fur stood up a little and her ears stuck straight up in alert.

"We're getting close." Juliette frowned. "I can sense… something up ahead. I'm not sure what to describe it as."

Echo looked up, surprised, yet not afraid. "I know this feeling…"

Suddenly, a ghost boy flew over them, but stopped. The ghost boy looked around, as if trying to find something. The ghost boy looked very similar to Echo and the sleeping boy outside, only his hair was white, his eyes were a neon green, and he wore a black and white jumpsuit.

"I should probably mention…" Juliette whispered. "If Danny pays enough attention while we're in his mind, he will be able to see us."

Echo suddenly paled at that. Just the very thought of Danny seeing him made his non-existent heart race in fear. How am I feeling what I'm feeling?! How am I feeling at all?!

"He doesn't seem to be looking directly at us, so calm yourself," Juliette quietly commanded.

"This place is messing with me…" Echo hissed before he lowered himself to the snowy ground as the ghost boy began to fly closer. "We should move."

"You can move if you want," Juliette replied as she stayed standing. "If Danny spots us, he'll most likely simply think we're dream beings, creatures he fabricated in his mind."

"I don't care. I don't want him seeing me period," Echo stated stubbornly.

"Fine, then you better hide," Juliette said before she started walking towards Danny. "Hello?!"

Danny turned to Juliette and Echo.

Fudge cake sundaes! Echo fake cursed to himself a little before he dove under the snow and began to move under it like a speeding gopher underground.

"C-can you help me…?" Juliette asked in a frightened tone. "There's this… scary being flying around."

The ghost boy, whom Juliette could easily tell was Danny, landed in front of her. "Oh, don't be scared. I won't let him hurt you. Um… who are you?"

"Juliette," Juliette answered, knowing Danny most likely wouldn't remember her or her name. "I… just moved into Amity Park… and then that big bad being showed up and destroyed my home…"

Danny frowned. "I can't believe he's already made it to Amity Park… I was hoping I could've sealed him away in this frozen wasteland… Are Tucker and Sam… my family…"

Danny looked down, not wanting to finish that question.

"There… was a large barrier that I was trying to run to… I think people were calling it a 'Ghost Shield' or something… but I somehow ended up here…" Juliette frowned as remembered Echo mentioning something about a 'Ghost Shield' before.

"So the city might still be safe?" Danny asked, his eyes filled with hope as he looked back up at Juliette.

"I think so," Juliette replied in an unsure tone.

"If the Ghost Shield is still up, then that means he hasn't used his Ghostly Wail on it yet…" Danny muttered. "Juliette, stay close to me, alright? It's too dangerous for you to be out here on your own."

Juliette nodded as she moved closer to Danny, keeping up her nervous and scared act. "R-right."

"Oh, my name is Danny Phantom by the way. You can just call me Phantom though," Danny introduced.

"I would say 'nice to meet you, Phantom' but we could definitely be meeting under better circumstances…" Juliette responded with a nervous chuckle.

"Yeah…" Danny sighed before he looked at Juliette. "Hey, you wouldn't mind if I carried you, would you?"

Juliette shook her head. "It'd be better than me slowing you down by trying to walk in this outfit… I can't believe my luck…"

Danny sweatdropped. "Should I even ask…?"

Juliette forced a small blush, which showed up on her silver cheek fur. "Someone put me in this to mess with me… and I… would really rather not say any more than that…"

Danny nodded in agreement before he picked up Juliette, holding her bridal style, before he took off into the sky. The scenery started to change as Danny flew, however, it suddenly began warmer, and the snow melted. They were now flying through a canyon, with doors lodged in the walls of the canyon.

Meanwhile, Echo was still digging down under the snow, until his head clonked on a stone. Echo slowly stood up, rubbing his forehead until he willed the pain to go away, which always worked. After all, pain is psychological. I can't feel pain in a body that doesn't have any organs, let alone a nervous system.

Echo looked around, seeing some kind of museum-like hallway ahead of him, despite being outside in the snow. Echo walked forward into the museum, the temperature inside being much more bearable than the frozen wastes he had been moving through.

The mind is a weird place… Echo grumbled. Now what do I do? Thanks to Juliette's oh so brilliant idea, we're now separated, inside a halfa's mind! What was she thinking? Maybe I should have let her go in alone.

Echo groaned. "And now I'm actually thinking to myself! This is not normal! Someone please explain to me what is going on!"

Suddenly there was a loud WHOOSH as torches all along the walls lit themselves. Echo flinched back, not sure what was going on. Besides the torches, little inlets in the wall, that apparently had some kind of oil or something in them, lit up as well, lighting up what appeared to be an actual museum.

"Okay… didn't expect an actual answer…" Echo noted uncomfortably. "Um… could Danny actually hear me…?"

To that, there was no response other than the sound of the torch flames flickering. Echo noticed that the flames of the torches were a frost colored bluish-white with more blue towards the base of the flames.

Curious now, Echo gathered his supposed fake courage, and walked through the museum, wondering if the torches wanted to show him something. There were more doors, but Echo noted that there were also small stands, and pieces of artwork on the walls. One piece of artwork showed space in an abstract way, there were no planets in a solar system, but just different planets and stars in the picture. Echo believed this represented Danny's dreams of the future of becoming an astronaut.

The next piece of artwork Echo saw was more pristine. It showed Amity Park, as well as the people closest to Danny: Tucker, Sam, Jazz, Maddie, and Jack. Though there was, strangely, a faded print of some kind in the picture. It sort of ruined the pristine of the picture. Echo wasn't sure why there was a weird faded print there, but otherwise, he could tell this was Danny's precious present, those he kept close to his heart.

Echo continued moving down the hallway, looking at more artwork that represented Danny's mind. There were some that showed Casper High, Mr. Lancer of all teachers, some showed Paulina, then there were some that showed Dash with a genuine smile instead of a smirk ready to beat Danny up to a pulp. Echo believed most of these were Danny's desires with the people at school. More artwork showed the ghosts Danny's had to fight with as Phantom. One piece of artwork had scratches on it that showed Jack and Maddie glaring at Danny with hatred, lifting up their weapons to shoot at him. The artwork next to that showed Valerie as the Red Huntress, chasing him down.

Echo frowned at the artwork, and put a hand on them, expecting his hand to go through, but to his shock, he touched the artwork. Echo pulled his hand back in shock. "... If only I knew how to lead you to a better future with them… well that, and being able to do that…"

Echo looked at the next artwork, seeing the frame surrounding the canvas was completely black. The canvas itself had an older, evil Danny grinning sinisterly down at Echo, which sent chills down Echo's spine. Echo felt that the eyes of the painting were staring at him, but in truth it wasn't.

Then there was another artwork next to the terrifying older Danny. Both the frame and the canvas of this piece were completely black. Echo couldn't see what picture was supposed to be there.

After the completely black artwork, Echo saw tapestries of Sam and Tucker side by side. "Huh, must have gone from fears to friends… I wonder if this museum is somewhat alphabetical…"

After the tapestries of Sam and Tucker, were tapestries of Jazz, Jack, and Maddie, which debunked Echo's theory that the museum was somewhat alphabetized. After spending a few moments on the tapestries of Danny's family, Echo moved onto the next one, which made him frown. Instead of a complete tapestry, what Echo saw was a torn and shredded tapestry that appeared to be of Danny. At first, Echo wondered why there would be a shredded tapestry of Danny here, and made him worry if that meant Danny hated himself. But the longer Echo stared at it, the more sure he felt about something.

"No… that's… not Danny," Echo commented, unsure why he felt so sure about the tapestry not being of Danny. "But… then who else could it be? Why is this here? Was it one of Vlad's clones? … No, then that'd be Danielle… this isn't Danielle… It looks like Danny, but… there are some differences."

At the base of the tapestry was a shattered stone tablet that had a strange set of letters near the bottom. It took a few moments for Echo to read them as they looked similar to regular letters but were oddly shaped. What he could make out, however, had him thoroughly confused. "'Ululncl'…? What does that mean?!"

Echo started thinking of possibilities in his head. "I mean it kinda… looks like 'uncle', but I don't think it is... Is this a different language? Danny doesn't know many other languages though… and none of those languages' characters fit this."

Echo looked behind the tablet, to see if he could find any pieces of it that he could possibly put back on to help him decipher it, noticing that the top of the stone tablet was practically sheared off. As he was looking down, Echo noticed two letters underneath the first set near the center.

"A… n…?" Echo read. "An…? An what? Is it related to that 'Ululncl' thing?"

Echo rubbed his head, feeling a sense of a headache, though he wasn't sure why, let alone how. Juliette gave him a headache before when she kept asking him questions about himself, which was already strange in and of itself, since he was sure he couldn't get headaches.

Echo tried to will the headache away, as he always did whenever he thought he felt pain, but the headache wouldn't leave. Echo gritted his teeth, starting to worry what was happening to him. Is this a Void Creature thing? Could I have been tainted while I've been in here? What would happen to Danny if I turned into a Void Creature while in his mind?

In a rush of panic, Echo quickly stumbled away from the tablet. The headache finally subsided when he did. "Was it that tablet that was causing me to have the headache? If so, I should stay away from it…"

Echo took some time to calm himself down and recover, which was weird as he shouldn't have been able to feel panic because he wasn't alive. After recollecting himself, Echo moved further into the museum, seeing more tattered and shredded tapestries as well as more broken tablets. Echo, not wanting to give himself another headache, stayed clear of them.

At least, he did until he saw a strange, almost complete tapestry of Danny beside the other not-Danny. Walking over to it, Echo saw underneath was a mostly intact tablet that had the worlds 'Danny and dy'. What came before the 'dy' was scratched out and illegible.

Echo started thinking about what this could mean. "Could… could Danny have had a twin brother before? … But that's impossible. If he did, where's the twin now? Why hasn't anyone spoken about him? Nobody seems to care about this twin, even if he died earlier. This looked too recent to have been several years ago…"

Then Juliette's words echoed in his mind. "You could've been a version of him that didn't exist or perhaps something akin to a twin?"

Echo shook his head, and backed away, not wanting to believe that was the truth. It was too preposterous, too laughable, too arrogant even, to be true. Echo held his forehead, feeling the headache returning.

"I need to get out of here…" Echo hissed, starting to run through the corridor of the museum, trying his best to ignore the other artworks.

I'm not a twin brother, I'm not someone Danny knew. I'm only a Void Walker who took the form of Danny, that's it, that's all I am. Echo tried to convince himself as he was fighting against the headache that refused to leave. Stop it! Stop right now! I can't afford to think like that!

Echo ran to a light up ahead, and yelped. He suddenly found himself teetering on the edge of a ravine. Echo was trying not to fall as he was stepping just over the edge.

Screw this crap! Echo snapped.

"There, I see it." Danny smiled as the scene changed again to look more like a city that was covered in a large green barrier of some kind.

"It looks like there are multiple layers to the barrier… that's cool," Juliette commented, hoping to plant the idea that the barrier has multiple layers into Danny's mind to help him beat the nightmare once and for all.

"You think so?" Danny asked, looking at the barrier again.

Just as Juliette hoped, the green barrier now had a teal colored barrier over it, and a red barrier over that.

"Yeah," Juliette replied, pointing out the multiple layers. "Those colors… I think the ones on the outside are the strongest. It would take a few rockets or something strong to burst that barrier."

Danny gave a thoughtful look. He started to look a little more relaxed.

"We better get through before he shows up then," Danny remarked.

"Can you even get through it?" Juliette asked. "Isn't it a Ghost Shield?"

"I… uh…" Danny hesitated.

However, before Danny could think of an excuse, both of them were hit by a strong ecto blast. Juliette yelped as she was sent flying, while Danny was trying to get out of a tailspin.

"Juliette!" Danny cried out before he flew at her and grabbed her before she could hit the ground. "A-are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Juliette nodded, though she was actually a little shaken up from how close she had come to hitting the ground.

Suddenly, a large shadow towered over them. Danny turned, gasping. It was the older, evil Danny, though he looked far bigger than just a simple grown version of Danny, and he looked distorted, more evil. His skin looked more reddish than teal blue, his teeth looked much sharper, and the fire on his head looked bigger.

"Where do you think you're going, Danny?" The older Danny sneered. "Do you honestly think you could get away?"

"I wasn't trying to get away, I was trying to trap you!" Danny snapped.

The older Danny looked at the kitsune in his arms. "Nice new friend you got there. Would you mind if I broke it?"

"Stay away!" Danny shouted as he fired a ghost ray from one of his hands at the older Danny, which didn't seem to do anything.

"This… can't be the big bad being that blew up my house…" Juliette commented. "This guy looks… pathetic."

The older Danny glared at Juliette. "Pathetic? Perhaps you don't know fear when you see it."

"I know fear all right, and you aren't it," Juliette retorted, hoping to make Danny think less of this fear. "I fear you about as much as a person fears a puppy."

"J-Juliette, are you sure you want to provoke him?" Danny hissed.

"Look at him, Phantom, this guy is weak," Juliette said, frowning a little at Danny's reaction. "You're way stronger than he is. I doubt he could even scratch you."

Danny frowned before he quickly flew away, the evil, older Danny fired ghost rays. Danny yelped as one of them hit his back and he fell to the pavement below, though he managed to lift up Juliette before he did, to prevent harm to her.

Danny groaned as he managed to get his face off the pavement. "If he's so pathetic… what does that make me…?"

"Someone who doesn't believe in himself," Juliette answered. "Someone who needs to believe in the incredible strength within him, control it, harness it, and use it!"

"Believing in myself isn't going to save everyone," Danny groaned.

The evil Danny landed in front of them. "Time's up, Danny. You can't protect everyone forever."

Danny launched at the evil Danny, who just laughed as he backhanded Danny away from him.

"Believing in yourself will save everyone!" Juliette cried out. "If you don't believe in yourself, you won't be able to use your strength!"

Evil Danny glared at Juliette. "You talk too much."

"Stop! Don't hurt her!" Danny shouted when he saw Evil Danny about to fire ghost rays at Juliette.

Out of desperation, Danny flew in front of Juliette, taking the blows himself. Juliette frowned, she had been hoping she was helping Danny, but this appeared to be rooted deeper than she thought. How can I help Danny with a deeply rooted fear…?

"Why…? I… I can't do this alone…" Danny whimpered.

Juliette glanced down at Danny before she let out a small sigh and stepped forward until she was standing beside him. "You aren't alone."

Danny slowly lifted his head to look at Juliette. "What… what do you mean…? I'm the only one with ghost powers… I'm the only one who… who can save them…"

Juliette was starting to see what Echo meant by Danny being so stressed out.

"You may be the only one with ghost powers, but that doesn't mean you're the only one who can save everyone," Juliette stated comfortingly.

Danny looked back at the evil Danny, who was laughing at him. Danny managed to push himself back up. "Maybe you're right… I don't have to be the only one… I feel like there's something… missing."

Danny shut his eyes and appeared to be trying to do something. Doors in the area suddenly opened, and more Danny Phantoms came out. They all looked a little different though, some had more white on their hazmat suits than black, some had red instead of white or black, some had different eye colors, like blue, yellow, orange, and red, some of their hair colors were half black, and half white, or just all black.

Is he… why do some of them look like Echo? Juliette questioned herself.

One of the Danny Phantoms in particular caught Juliette's attention, though she wasn't sure why. This one had a dark navy blue hazmat suit, though he strangely didn't have a 'D' logo on his chest like the others did, his eyes glowed an eerie purple, and his hair was white. This Danny Phantom flew closest to the original Danny. Danny looked at this Danny Phantom before giving a warm smile. The Danny Phantom looked at the original Danny, though his expression was unreadable, before he looked at the evil Danny.

"See, Phantom? You aren't alone," Juliette pointed out. "You aren't the only one who can save everyone. Now, do what a hero does, and go defeat the villain!"

"Yeah!" Danny spoke up, suddenly brimming with confidence. "Let's get him!"

All the Danny Phantoms swarmed the evil Danny. The Evil Danny tried to destroy them, and even blew a number of them back with the Ghostly Wail. Juliette was glad she wasn't standing in front of that attack. The blue Danny Phantom pushed the original Danny Phantom from behind, making sure he didn't get blown too far away.

"See how weak he is?!" Juliette shouted. "He can't defeat you, Phantom!"

"He won't, not anymore," Danny agreed as he and the blue Phantom flew up together, before they both shot out their ghost rays.

The two ghost rays mixed into one, and when it hit the evil Danny, he let out a cry before his body dissolved into nothing but mist.

Hopefully this means Danny defeated that nightmare for good. Juliette smiled to herself.

The other Phantoms smiled before they all began to fly back into the doors they came out of. Juliette watched as they all scattered until they went into their doors. All, but one. The blue Phantom was still floating beside Danny. Danny was smiling at the blue Phantom. The blue Phantom himself looked like he was trying to resist, but the corner of his mouth started to twitch upwards until he was smiling back. It looked a little awkward though.

The blue Phantom turned and was about to fly away, but then Danny suddenly reached out and grabbed the blue Phantom's arm.

"W-wait, please," Danny spoke up.

The blue Phantom flinched a little, before looking back at Danny.

"You aren't like the others… I can tell," Danny stated.

The blue Phantom tilted his head at Danny, making Juliette wonder if he could even speak.

"What's… what's your name…?" Danny asked.

The blue Phantom only shook his head.

"You have a name… I know you do… but I can't remember it…" Danny frowned, his tone filled with desperation. "Please… tell me, what is your name?"

The blue Phantom let out a sigh, before speaking very quietly, so quiet that Juliette almost missed what he said. "I don't know…"

Danny looked like there was a spark of recognition for a moment before he gave a sad frown. "I… can't remember… why can't I remember? It's so important and it's something I shouldn't have forgotten… but I did…"

Danny looked like he was starting to cry. The blue Phantom frowned before he suddenly wrapped his arms around Danny and pulled him into a hug.

Well done, Echo… Juliette smiled to herself, having put together that the blue Phantom was actually Echo, somehow in a ghost form.

Then the entire area around them turned white. Danny disappeared from Echo's arms, and Echo's color turned gray.

"It's time for us to go," Juliette said to Echo, realizing what was happening. "We helped Danny beat his nightmare, hopefully for good. And perhaps we even helped with his stress a bit, making him realize he doesn't have to be the only one to bear the responsibility of keeping the world safe from ghosts."

Echo looked distracted, and Juliette wasn't sure if he even heard her. After a minute of silence, however, Echo turned to Juliette.

"... Yeah… let's go," Echo said quietly.

Juliette was about to say something before Echo picked her up, carrying her bridal style like Danny did before. He didn't even flinch from her touch this time. Echo then flew up towards the light, and then, they were back in the bedroom.

Echo put Juliette down, and when Juliette turned around, Echo was just human-like again. No ghost form, nothing ghostly about him, making Juliette wonder if Echo only became a ghost in Danny's dream.

"You… okay?" Juliette spoke up after a couple moments before she noticed that all of the other Void Spirits, besides the bat, had left.

"I don't know…" Echo admitted softly, turning to look back at Danny, who was sitting up in bed.

Danny yawned and stretched out. "I feel like I dreamed something really good… I wis- I would like to remember it…"

Echo looked a little hurt from that, but did his best not to show it. "I couldn't even tell you what I was thinking at the time. I just… saw a bunch of Danny Phantoms and… thought I could blend in. It felt like the perfect opportunity to help Danny a little more directly. Then… when I looked at Danny, and he looked at me… it just… I don't know… it felt… right. Like I… actually belonged…"

Echo shook his head, giving a humorless laugh. "Pretty stupid, right?"

"No," Juliette softly replied.

"Of course… it's more like pretty damn selfish," Echo hissed at himself. "Why did I think that? Did I just want to insert myself into Danny's life? That's probably a natural thing for someone to do, I guess. But why did I do that? I knew the risks, yet I did it anyways. I had wanted it though, I… I almost craved it… like a… Void Creature…"

"You aren't a Void Creature!" Juliette snapped, annoyed at how often Echo jumped to the most outlandish conclusion. "Don't even try to convince yourself of it."

"What am I supposed to think then, Juliette!?" Echo shouted back. "Maybe that's why I stuck with Danny all this time, maybe I do have the instincts of a Void Creature, but I only seem to want Danny. I was… content with just watching him, and protecting him my own way, but now… I interacted with him, even though it was just a dream, I still interacted with him. And I… I wanted it…"

"Maybe you wanted it because you were once his brother!" Juliette yelled. "I mean look at this room, Echo! Doesn't it seem a bit big for a single kid?! Why not put Jazz in here, she could definitely use the space more. Like I said before, you practically look like his twin. There is no doubt in my mind you weren't born in the Void, but you did end up here. Perhaps you somehow got erased from time, but not completely. That could explain why your clothes are torn. It would also explain your ghost form back there. It could even possibly explain Foxfire and your ability to express some emotions."

Danny got out of his bed. "Glad no ghost attacked during the night for once. I actually got decent sleep."

Danny walked through the middle of Juliette and Echo, completely oblivious to both of them, heading to his personal bathroom.

Echo had been rendered speechless for once, he didn't know what to say to Juliette's assertion.

Juliette sighed before looking at the bat Void Spirit. "Thank you for your assistance."

The bat gave a bow of respect to Juliette, likely thanking her in its own way, before it flew up and out the window.

Juliette then looked back at Echo. Echo wasn't looking at her anymore, he was looking down instead, still as quiet as ever.

Juliette sighed once more. Looks like I may have broken Echo…

"I… have to… go sort some things out…" Echo said quietly before he ran through the wall, falling to the ground since he was on the second floor of the house.

Juliette looked out through the window, seeing Echo getting up after falling on the sidewalk, not seeming bothered by it, and walked down the streets.

"I… should leave him alone for now," Juliette said to nobody in particular before she left Danny's room and started walking down the stairs.

Irusha the Kitsune: DarkFoxKit: I will say, the kinks and fetishes are gonna start out pretty tame. But they do get… more later on, just a fair warning. There will be times the plot will slow down or come to a halt while we do some of the fetish stuff, cause like I said, the story is self serving. I hope it doesn't turn you off too much though. If it's not your cup of tea, you could try skimming through it to get back to the plot. The story wasn't written to be posted originally. ^^' But I'm glad to know you're enjoying it so far at least.

Also, we rather not put it as a crossover since the crossover characters don't play any major roles except for one or two things, and listing it as a crossover would put this story somewhere a lot more obscure, making it harder for people to see it. Also, congratulations on being the first reviewer to this story. XP

The Moonfox Collective: Darkzdragon 'Onyx': Glad you found it interesting. While we knew going into the upload that it's definitely not what is expected of us, we didn't want to keep something we had poured our heart and soul into. While it does have fetishes and kinks, it also does have a story to it. Hopefully you will like where we take this story.

DarkFoxKit: I do apologize if the upcoming fetish stuff isn't your cup of tea and you find it irritating to read through. For those, I would suggest skimming through because, like I said, those were us indulging ourselves during the writing.

ZAFT Convoy: DarkFoxKit: I'm glad to see you're liking it, but be warned, it is Rated M for a reason, it was a story meant for indulging ourselves, so if you get to a scene that you're not into, you can skim through it until the plot continues from there. The whole Andy being lost in the Void was something I had been thinking about for a while, and this seemed like a good story for me to put that idea into motion.
