Quick note: I am getting your submissions and reviews and I am working on them. However, I like to make sure that content is spread out. For example, I don't want a million Stella posts in a row so I want to create a nice spread of content. So please be patient. I will get them done.

Tecna and Timmy- The Convention

"I'll be fine, girls. It's just for the weekend and then I will be back." Tecna smiled, "Honestly, it's going to be okay."

"Yeah," Musa replied, "I think Tecna can handle herself with a bunch of nerds."

Tecna glared over at her musical friend and roommate.

This weekend was the annual Innovations Conference and Convention at the Magix convention center. Tecna was going with a few students from Alfea to attend presentations and to present work of their own. Her friends were excited for her but of course they were anxious for Tecna to be at a big conference.

"Well, I hope that some of those nerds will be offering out jobs." Tecna said as she placed her laptop and power cord into her backpack.

"You shouldn't enjoy your time there." Bloom smiled, "Try to have some fun."

"Finding a job at a top tech firm is the most fun a girl can have."

"Yeah," Stella winked, "the most fun a girl can have while keeping her clothes on."

Tecna gave her blonde friend an agitated look before she looked up at the clock and quickly grabbed her bag.

"Well, I am off. Try not to burn down Alfea when I am gone." Tecna said as she threw her bag over her shoulder. Tecna had been regarded as the voice of reason on many occasions. That was one of the perks of being the logical one.

"Don't worry," Flora placed a soft hand on Tecna's shoulder, "Bloom, Aisha, and I will watch over Stella and Musa."

"What?!" Stella exclaimed, "Musa and I are not children."

Ignoring the angry blonde, Tecna walked out of the dorm room and down the hallway to the courtyard where she met the rest of her class.

"Tecna!" one of the students exclaimed, "There you are!"

"Am I late?" Tecna chuckled, "I thought that I was on time."

"You are," the student replied, "we are just excited to see you."

"We are going to be spending all weekend together," Tecna smiled, "I doubt that you will feel the same way come Sunday evening."

"Nonsense," another girl said, "you are the leader of our project and we have worked together all year and we still love you."

"Girls," Wizgiz called out, "time to get going. Put your bags in the luggage compartment and get in the bus."

Tecna walked over to the large bus, curious as to why they were traveling in something so primitive but she didn't have a say in their mode of transportation. She threw in her purple bag into the luggage compartment under the bus with her backpack and walked on to take her seat.

"Are you excited?" a girl sat down in the seats in the spot across the bus aisle from Tecna.

"I am," Tecna replied as she pulled out her laptop from her backpack, "but of course I am nervous to present tomorrow. I thought that my parents were going to come but they said that they couldn't make it."

"I'm sorry that your parents can't make it."

"Oh, don't be." Tecna smiled, "I think knowing that they aren't going to be there relaxes me. Plus the presentations will be archived so they will be able to watch them whenever they want. It will allow me to focus on the presentation."

"My parents are coming so you can always spend time with us. I think we are going to get dinner after the presentations." the girl replied.

"Thanks, Della." Tecna replied.

Tecna turned to her laptop and began to work on some last minute edits to her presentation. The bus roared to a start and the group of girls and their professor were off to the convention.

When the group reached the convention center, Tecna closed her laptop and looked out of the window. There were hundreds, maybe even thousands, of people at the convention center and Tecna felt a knot grow in her stomach. With so many people, she was concerned over how many people would be at her presentation. She knew that the material was sound but she was not the most comfortable with public speaking. She was not inspiring like Bloom, energetic like Stella, confident like Aisha, passionate like Musa, or comforting like Flora. Tecna and people didn't mix.

"Alright, girls." Wizgiz announced, "We are here. I am going to check us all in and get you your badges for the weekend. I will also give you your hotel keys so please partner up."

Tecna put her laptop in her backpack when she heard someone call her name.

"Tecna, do you want to room together? I promise that I won't be a bother." Della asked, a smile plastered onto her pale face.

"I'd love to." Tecna replied. "And don't ever feel like you would be a bother."

Della smiled as she hopped up from her seat on the bus. She threw her pink backpack over her shoulder before she walked off the bus to grab her things. Tecna slowly rose from her place and took a breath before grabbing her bag and walking off the bus.

Tecna grunted as she tried to pull her bag out of the luggage compartment on the bus as it was caught between a pole and a heavy case of equipment. The rest of the group had headed into the convention center, leaving Tecna to struggle with her bag. Tecna knew that they probably didn't notice that she was struggling but she sure could have used some help.

"Do you need some help?"

Tecna turned and came face to face with a boy with red hair, olive skin, and red glasses. He smiled at her waiting for her response.

"I think that I can get it." Tecna replied.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," Tecna turned back around and pulled on the bag, "I am sure."

The man scoffed as he walked next to Tecna and held up the equipment to allow for Tecna to pull out her lavender bag.

"I told you that I could get it." Tecna huffed.

"Maybe," the man chuckled, "but you would have torn off the handle."

"Either way," Tecna turned to glare at the young man, "I could have gotten it."

"A simple thank you would have sufficed."

"Thank you." Tecna rolled her eyes before throwing the duffle bag over her shoulder and walking to catch up with the rest of her group in the convention center.

"So, are you here for the convention?" the man asked, following Tecna inside.

"I am." Tecna responded dryly.

"Are you presenting?"

"I am."

"Are you staying at the hotel here?"

"I am not answering that." Tecna huffed as she continued to walk.

"I noticed that you are here with Alfea." the man said.

Tecna turned on her heels and looked at the man.

"Look," Tecna pinched the bridge of her nose, "I don't know who you are but you following me and asking me all of these questions is a little weird."

"Timothy."

"What?"

"My name is Timothy, but everyone calls me Timmy." the man with the red glasses replied.

"And you think me knowing that about you lessens my trepidation about you or diminishes the creepiness of you following me?" Tecna asked.

"No," Timmy replied with a smile, "but I was hoping that telling you my name would then give me the honor of knowing yours."

"I don't think so." Tecna turned and continued walking.

"That's okay." Timmy smiled and gave a small shrug, "I will see you around then, Tecna."

Tecna froze in her place, "Wait, how did you know my name?"

When she did not hear a response, Tecna turned around and saw that the man was no longer there. While she was glad to be rid of him, she was curious as to know why he knew her name. Shrugging it off, Tecna turned back around and walked into the convention center where she found the rest of her group and regained focus on the mission for the weekend. A good presentation.

The next morning, Tecna woke up and got ready for the first day of the convention and conference. Today was a free day as she would not have to present until Saturday. Though they had to run over their presentations with Wizgiz this afternoon, Tecna felt good about everything and was looking to learn.

Pulling on a white sundress, a purple blazer, and a pair of purple heels, Tecna grabbed her conference information packet, access badges, a water bottle, and her purse that held a small notebook and pen before walking out of the hotel room.

She thought about waiting for Della but she was fast asleep and Tecna was ready to start the day.

Tecna walked down the hall before she reached the elevator. She put her hand out to press the elevator button but someone else beat her to it. Looking up, Tecna groaned when she saw Timmy.

"Good morning, Tecna." Timmy smiled, "Aren't you up early."

"Lots to see." Tecna turned back around and kept her eyes trained onto the silver elevator doors.

"Have you gotten breakfast yet?" Timmy asked.

"No."

"Do you want to grab some coffee and check out some presentations together?"

"Not particularly." Tecna rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

The elevator doors opened and Tecna walked inside and pressed the button for the ground floor where the convention was being held. She did her best not to look at the tall man in front of her.

"Alright," Timmy smiled as he stepped inside of the elevator, "I do hope that you enjoy your time at the convention."

The doors closed and the air was thick inside of the elevator. Tecna and Timmy stood as far away from each other as possible but against Tecna's better judgement, she was the first to break the silence.

"How did you know my name?" Tecna asked as she looked up at Timmy. She noticed a grin come onto his face.

"Come on," Timmy chuckled, "you are one of the greatest young minds in technology."

Tecna felt a blush creep across her face. Tecna never wanted to brag about her awards and hated being in the spotlight. She was hoping that people would not recognize her here. She had dyed her hair purple from her natural blonde. She even insisted that Wizgiz enter her presentation under a pseudonym.

"Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable." Timmy said.

"Maybe don't follow women in a parking lot, vanish, and then ask them to breakfast the next morning."

"See," Timmy smiled, "this is why you are the smart one."

The elevator dinged as it reached the ground floor. The doors opened and Timmy and Tecna stepped out.

"Well," Timmy straightened his back, "I hope that you enjoy the conference."

"Wait," Tecna sighed, "I could really use some coffee."

Timmy gave Tecna a bright smile before he turned to walk with Tecna to the small coffee shop in the conference center. Tecna looked up and saw that Timmy's eyes were focused in front of him. She also noticed the way that his orange hair fell into his eyes and the slight crookedness of his glasses.

"So what are you interested in seeing today?" Timmy asked as they approached the small coffee stand.

"I am not sure," Tecna shrugged, "I didn't have much time to look at the information packet last night. All I know is that the girls and I are going to support the boys from Red Fountain. They are the school across the forest from us."

"I have heard of Red Fountain." Timmy smirked.

"So do you have any presentations you are interested in seeing today?" Tecna asked.

"I might go to the Cloud Tower presentation this morning," Timmy replied, "they are doing a presentation on advancements in software that can help limit the impact of the dark web on the user."

"Hm, I might check it out." Tecna shrugged as she and Timmy stepped forward in line.

"What can I get for you two?" the barista asked.

"I'll have a large latte with a shot of vanilla." Tecna replied.

"And I'll have a small black coffee." Timmy said.

The barista read out their total and Tecna reached for her purse.

"I got it." Timmy said as he reached into his back pocket and pulled out his small black wallet.

"My drink cost more than yours." Tecna reached into her purse and pulled out her card, giving it to the young barista.

"Fine," Timmy shrugged as he watched the barista swipe Tecna's card, "you got coffee, I'll get lunch."

"What?" Tecna's head snapped to look up at Timmy.

"You need to eat lunch, don't you?" Timmy smiled as he and Tecna walked over to the side to wait for their coffee. "I didn't want to be too forward and insist on dinner."

"You really are persistent, aren't you?" Tecna rolled her eyes.

"Not usually but you interest me." Timmy replied.

"Because I am some tech prodigy." It came out more as a statement than a question.

"No," Timmy crossed his arms and looked down at Tecna, "because I find you interesting."

"Well that just begs the question." Tecna sighed as she walked up to the counter to grab her coffee.

Tecna and Timmy walked down the corridor of the conference center where they came to the entrance of the convention center.

"So why are you here?" Tecna asked, "You seem to know a lot about me but I am afraid that I don't know a lot about you."

"I am just a man who likes watching pretty women talk about technology." Timmy answered as he took a sip of his hot coffee.

"Seriously?" Tecna scoffed, glancing up from her cup of coffee.

"No," Timmy chuckled, "I am here to learn just the same as everyone else."

"Are you presenting?"

"No." Timmy replied.

"You are a strange man." Tecna shook her head.

Timmy was silent but gave her a small smile when she was not looking and took another sip of his coffee.

The convention was loud but both Tecna and Timmy knew that the space was going to grow more crowded as the day went on. Some vendors were still setting up their stations to sell the latest technology and there were groups of people in suits preparing to set up their presentations.

"So what do you want to see first?" Timmy asked.

"I'm not sure." Tecna shrugged, "the first presentations are not supposed to start for another half hour."

"For a genius," Timmy looked over to Tecna, "you don't seem to know a whole lot."

Rolling her eyes, Tecna took another sip of her latte, "I don't see you offering any suggestions."

"Alright then," Timmy stopped in his tracks, "I hear that Galatea Enterprises is unveiling their new headphones if you want to check them out."

"Will it take long?" Tecna asked.

"Only a few minutes." Timmy smiled as he drank the rest of his coffee, "Come on," Timmy threw his cup away, "we can be the first to see them."

Tecna followed Timmy as he made his way through the convention, weaving between the tables and seeming to know where exactly to go.

"How do you know where to go without looking at the map?" Tecna asked.

"I memorized the map." Timmy gave a smug smile.

She looked up at him and pursed her lips. There was no way that he could remember a whole map of a convention.

"Let me guess, you also memorized when and where all of the presentations are."

A laugh escaped Timmy's lips, "Of course not, I'm not that big of a freak."

"Could have fooled me." Tecna murmured under her breath.

"I heard that." Timmy scoffed.

Tecna blushed at being caught. Everything about Timmy had baffled her so far. From knowing who she was to his confidence, even if it was annoying her just a tad. Why had he seemed to take an interest in her? Was he one of those people who traveled the tech circuit in the cities and tried to hookup with women? Well she certainly wasn't going to give in. He could accompany her for the morning but there was no way that they were spending any more time together.

"Do you think that I am a freak?" Timmy asked, a little more quiet than the bravado that Tecna had come accustomed to.

"You memorized a whole map," Tecna answered, "And I am still trying to figure out why you are so interested in me. If you think that I am going to sleep with you-"

"Woah woah woah!" Timmy held up his hands in defense, "I don't...I'm not...no. Is that what you think?"

"Well why else would you want to hang out with me? I am not the only person to be labeled 'genius' here but I am the only one that is a woman. The place is crawling with 'geniuses' and yet you find me 'interesting'? If you don't want that, then what do you want from me?"

Timmy's face hardened, "I have read your work and I was wanting to get to know you."

"Then why the creepy behavior?"

"I am sorry," Timmy glared at Tecna, "some of us are not as comfortable around people like you are. Sorry if I came off as creepy. It was not my intention."

Tecna's eyes widened, "You think that I am comfortable around people? You seem to be the one with all of the confidence."

"I have seen your videos at conferences and you look like a natural talking about the thing that you love. You draw people in and I thought that you wouldn't have wanted to hang out with me if I wasn't confident."

"I am the furthest thing from confident. Believe me when I say that I am terrible around people. I would much rather be around technology than people." Tecna sighed.

"Then I guess that makes two of us." Timmy gave Tecna a shy smile. "Let me start over," Timmy held out a large and strong hand, "my name is Timmy."

Reaching out for his hand, Tecna placed her small pale hand in his, "Tecna."

"Well, it is nice to meet you, Tecna." Timmy shook her hand. "I hope that you will allow me to spend time with you this morning, no catch."

Tecna took back her hand and looked up at Timmy's hazel eyes, "As long as you promise to not be so weird."

"I make no such promises." Timmy laughed.

Tecna rolled her eyes as she finished her coffee, throwing away the cup.

Reaching the Galatea Enterprises booth, Tecna and Timmy's attention was caught by the sleek set of headphones encased in a plexiglass case.

"Are those the new headphones?" Tecna asked.

"I think so." Timmy smiled as he leaned over to read the small label.

"They look...fancy." Tecna shrugged.

"Not impressed?" Timmy chuckled.

"I am." Tecna snapped her head up to look at Timmy.

"You don't sound impressed."

"They are just...headphones."

"Headphones can be fun. And this is Galatea Enterprises, they make the most state of the art music technology."

"Musa would be more interested in this. I might take some information back to school for her." Tecna smiled as she read over the headphone information.

"Is Musa your friend?" Timmy asked.

"My best friend and roommate." Tecna replied as she thought of the young woman that she roomed with back at Alfea.

Timmy gave Tecna a nod as he turned his attention back to the information in the packet that he held. He snuck a glance at Tecna as her brow was furrowed in concentration as she read the information. He looked at the way her pink lips downturned just slightly and her pale cheeks had a hint of color. Her purple hair was slicked back and he would have never guessed that a woman like her would be that beautiful and so interesting. He wanted to tell her who he was but he couldn't tell her. But maybe honesty was the best policy.

"Tecna..."Timmy sighed.

"Oh look!" Tecna exclaimed as she walked over to another booth.

Sighing, Timmy followed Tecna over to the next booth. His heart dropped when he saw which booth it was.

"I love these games!" Tecna exclaimed, "I read that they were going to be here but I didn't know that they were going to show it here."

"You like these games?" Timmy asked incredulously.

"They are so much fun!" Tecna beamed, "And the gameplay is incredible!"

"They are alright but not really my cup of tea."

"I guess that we agree to disagree."

Timmy gave Tecna a small smirk before he turned his attention back to the booth. He had no idea that Tecna would have been interested in the Nims Game franchise, his franchise. He had created the games during his first year at Red Fountain and by the time that he graduated three years ago, the company took off. He wanted to tell Tecna that he was here as one of the sponsors of the convention and as the owner of the games. He wanted her to join their development team but the more that he got to know her in the short period of time, the more that he grew attracted to her. Better yet, he was interested in the fact that she had no idea who he was.

He was pretty reclusive in his part as the owner of the company. While he was in school, he promoted his father as the face of the company, mainly because he was so shy and his father was a lot better at explaining and presenting than he was. He was terrible with people but everybody knew that he was the owner of the Nims Games. Everybody but Tecna.

"Good morning," one of the Nims workers walked up to greet Tecna and Timmy, "oh, s-"

Timmy waved his hands behind Tecna, signaling for the worker not to reveal who he was.

The worker cleared his throat, "I'm sorry, good morning. Is there anything that I can show you?"

"I had no idea that you were showing the new game here at the convention." Tecna smiled as she read through the information on the table.

"It was a last minute surprise." the worker shrugged, "Our boss thought that it was a good time to unveil the game."

Tecna looked over the table and a bright green sign caught her eye, "Are you hiring?"

"Um, yeah but just for internships and more ground level jobs." the worker replied.

"Can I have an application?" Tecna asked.

"Of course," the worker replied, "just give me a few seconds to get it. We haven't completely finished unpacking this morning."

"Thank you." Tecna smiled.

Tecna and Timmy watched as the employee walked to the back of the booth and dug through the large box.

"Are you sure that you want to work there?" Timmy leaned over to whisper in Tecna's ear.

"Yes I am sure. I love the Nims franchise and it has been my dream to work there."

"But you are better than an intern or some grunt employee." Timmy folded his arms.

"Everyone has to start from somewhere."

Timmy gave Tecna a knowing smile as she turned back around to face the employee that walked back up to the young pair.

"Thank you," Tecna smiled as she took the application from the employee, "where should I turn it in to?"

"Um...I think that it should be obvious." the worker chuckled.

Timmy rubbed the bridge of his nose in exasperation. But maybe it was his fault that he went to the convention "undercover".

"No?" Tecna replied, confused and feeling like she was missing something obvious, making her look like an idiot.

"I guess that you can mail it to our offices or turn it back in here if you finish this weekend." the worker pulled out a business card and handed it to Tecna. She took the card and the application and placed them in her large purse.

"Thank you," Tecna shook the worker's hand, "I will have it turned in as soon as possible."

The worker walked away to greet other guests that had walked up to the table.

"Oh, I will have to fill this out right away." Tecna patted her purse, excited to start filling out the long application.

"Yeah..." Timmy rubbed the back of his neck.

Tecna, oblivious to Timmy's discomfort, continued to read over the information about the new game. The smile never left her lips. Timmy smiled as he looked at the way that her eyes crinkled up when she smiled and how her nose turned up.

"What?" Tecna asked as she caught Timmy staring.

"Nothing." Timmy's smile remained on his face. Tecna's cheeks flushed a pink color before she returned her attention back to the information.

The morning passed and Tecna and Timmy parted ways so that Tecna could spend the afternoon with her school colleagues. Tecna and Timmy had spent the morning exploring more booths and attended the morning presentations. They went to the one being held by Cloud Tower and another by the computer giants Golden Company Systems. Timmy unfortunately couldn't hold to his promise of buying Tecna lunch.

When Timmy had left Tecna, she couldn't help but to feel a bit sad. Sure he had been annoying at the beginning but she was starting to enjoy his company. After their rocky start, he began to loosen up and she could start to see what a big nerd that he was. Something that she found comforting. She would watch as he hung onto every word of the presentations and would ask questions about the research that she did not even think to ask about. He was smart and yet she had no idea who he really was.

He said that he was no longer in school and that he wasn't here with any group or company. She was still curious as to why he had shown an interest in her. He had made it clear that he was not interested in her for physical reasons but that still didn't tell her why he was here. No matter, she would either get down to the bottom of it or she would forget about him by the end of the weekend.

The evening rolled around and after dinner, Tecna was in Wizgiz's hotel room with Della and Stephanie as they went over their presentation. Tecna admired the way that Della commanded the room and how comfortable and warm that Stephanie seemed. Timmy had said that he had loved the way that she showed passion when she talked about her work but that didn't make her feel any less nervous about tomorrow.

"Tecna," Wizgiz asked, "is everything alright?"

Tecna's attention snapped back to the small professor who was sitting at the edge of the hotel bed as he looked up at the three women.

"Oh, sorry. I guess my mind started to wander." Tecna held her head down.

"I know that you hate presenting but you know everything that you need to know. There is no need to be nervous. You will do great." Wizgiz gave her a small smile.

"Thanks, professor." Tecna sighed, "I just get in my head."

"Tec, you'll be great." Della placed a hand on her shoulder, "You know this material better than anyone. You were the lead researcher."

"I would much rather just stay in the lab than present." Tecna giggled.

"But everyone has a right to know how brilliant you are." Stephanie said, "Plus you can't leave Della and I hanging like that."

"All three of you will be magnificent tomorrow afternoon." Wizgiz clapped his hands as he stood from the bed. "But now, I think that it is time for all of us to get some sleep. We have a long day ahead of us. Plus, I need some alone time so get out of my room."

The three girls laughed as Wizgiz pushed them out of his small hotel room.

"Della and I are going to head down to the pool. The Red Fountain boys invited us down. You should come. The rest of the girls will be down there as well."

Tecna stopped outside of the room shared by her and Della and smiled, "I think that I am going to stay in. But you girls have fun."

"Are you sure?" Stephanie asked.

"I am," Tecna took out her room key, "I had a long day and I picked up a lot of applications that I want to get filled out."

"If you insist." Della shrugged, "I will try to be quiet when I come back in."

"Thanks," Tecna smiled as she opened the door, "you two have fun."

Stephanie and Della waved to Tecna before they headed towards the elevator. Tecna felt the door close behind her and she walked over to her bed before she fell back onto the plush mattress. She reached for her heels and undid the buckle before sliding them off her feet. They were red and throbbing. Maybe wearing heels during the convention wasn't the best idea.

Sitting up, Tecna walked over to her duffle bag and pulled out her purple pajama shorts and her white cropped tank top. She took off her clothes and changed into her pajamas, trying to get comfortable before she began working on the applications. It was her last year in school and it would be nice to have some job opportunities lined up by the time she graduated.

Tecna pulled out the stack of applications and sat at the small desk in the hotel room before getting started.

Her pen clicked as she pressed on the top and Tecna laughed to herself as she began filling out the paper applications. She was surprised how many paper applications there were at a convention for technology. She knew that there were electronic applications for all of these places online but if she was able to turn in a paper application while at the convention, she was able to put a face to an application. Not that it would really matter since she changed her look that nobody would recognize her anyways.

An hour passed and Tecna needed a break from filling out what seemed to be the same questions for different applications. Her hand was hurting and she was growing hungry.

Standing up from her seat, Tecna adjusted her purple shorts and grabbed her purse. She dug through the purse and pulled out her wallet and the hotel room key. Heading out into the hallway, Tecna walked down the carpeted hall to the vending machine. She looked at the various snacks and weighed her options.

"Anything catching your eye?" Tecna spun around to see Timmy leaning against the wall.

Tecna's heart skipped a beat as she saw Timmy wearing a pair of blue sleep pants and a tight grey t-shirt. She had never really looked at him until now and she had to admit that he was attractive. Well attractive in his own nerdy way. He was tall, muscular, and she would do anything to be wrapped in his arms.

What was she thinking?!

Turning back around Tecna focused her attention back onto the snack options, "Should I get the fruit chews, the pretzels, or the chocolate?"

"Why not all three?" Timmy asked as he stood up straight from his leaned position and walked up behind Tecna.

Tecna could feel her breath becoming heavier as she felt Timmy coming closer to her. The hairs on the back of her neck felt as though they were standing up. The way that she was feeling was completely illogical. She had only known him for a short amount of time and she was feeling this way. A way that she had never felt before and she had no way to explain it.

"I don't think that I should have that much sugar." Tecna replied.

"You don't have to eat it all in one sitting." Timmy laughed as he put in money into the vending machine, "Plus you could share."

"What are you doing?" Tecna asked as she watched the money go into the vending machine.

"Well, I never got to buy you lunch today." Timmy smiled down at the purple haired woman, "I thought that I could at least buy you a late night snack. What are you doing up so late anyways?"

Tecna watched as Timmy clicked the button and the pretzels fell to the bottom of the vending machine before he inserted more money into the vending machine.

"I was filling out applications." Tecna answered.

"Do you need any help?" Timmy asked.

"How would you help me?" Tecna giggled as she looked up to Timmy. Her face immediately blushed as she didn't realize how close he was standing to her, his chest hovering over her and his arms branching over her shoulder near her ears.

"Moral support." Timmy clicked another button and the chocolate fell into the bottom of the vending machine, "Good company."

"Whether the company is good is subjective." Tecna's voice began to waver.

"What do you consider to be good company then?" Timmy smirked as he put in another dollar.

"I don't know. It just is." Tecna shrugged as she watched the fruit chews come down the vending machine.

"So do you think that my company can be good?" Timmy asked as he put in a final dollar and pressed a button before a bag of chips came down.

Tecna turned around and found her chest touching Timmy's. She looked up and found his face mere inches from hers. She gulped as she once again looked into his hazel eyes. They pulled her closer to him like magnets.

"I did enjoy our time together this morning." Tecna's voice came out as a whisper.

"So is that a yes?" Timmy asked, his cool breath hitting Tecna's face.

"I...I guess." Tecna answered weakly.

Timmy gave Tecna a smile before he reached down behind her and pulled out the snacks.

Did he have no idea what he was doing to her? Did she have any idea? She usually had all the answers but when it came to Timmy, he had left her baffled at every turn.

"Are you going to show me where your room is or are we going to eat these in the hallway?" Timmy laughed.

Coming back to reality, Tecna walked past Timmy and led the way back to her room. Reaching the door Tecna took out her hotel key from the waistband of her pajama shorts and opened the door. She walked in and Timmy followed in closely behind her.

Tecna took a seat back at the desk, a pile of completed applications on one side and incomplete applications on the other side. There was an open application that she was working on in the middle of the desk.

Tecna grabbed the bag of pretzels and began to eat as she took a seat at the desk. Timmy grabbed the chips that he bought and opened them before starting to eat them one by one.

"You must have been really schmoozing after I left." Timmy gave a breathy chuckle as he looked down at the desk. Grabbing the other chair at the edge of the desk, Timmy sat across from Tecna and picked up a completed application. "Impressive resume."

"Give me that." Tecna snatched the application from Timmy.

"Sorry," Timmy blushed, "still trying to figure out this whole people and socializing thing."

"Maybe you could start with not standing so close behind people."

"Oh," Timmy furrowed his brow in confusion, "I just wanted to be close to you. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable."

Tecna's eyes widened, "What?"

"What?"

"You said that you wanted to be close to me." Tecna repeated what she heard.

"Yes," Timmy replied, "I do. Am I being creepy again?"

"I...I...Why would you want to be close to me?" Tecna asked as she resumed work on the application.

"Because I think I like you." Timmy answered bluntly.

Tecna's head shot up, "What?"

Timmy stood up from his chair and walked over to where Tecna sat and placed a hand over hers as he looked down at hers.

"The way that I am feeling for you is illogical and my friends from school said that when they found their girlfriends that everything about them defied logic. Tecna, everything about you defies logic."

Tecna looked up at him in shock, "But..."

"I know that we just met and I bet the creep factor just went way up but I don't know, I just want to be with you, all the time."

Timmy let go of Tecna's hand and walked back to his seat at the desk.

"Can I tell you something?" Timmy asked as he looked at Tecna, his eyes serious. Unable to find any words, Tecna gave a small nod of her head.

"My name is Timothy Powers." Timmy began, "I am here at this convention because you are here. I am the owner of Nims Games and I came here to seek you out and offer you a job."

"You? You're the Timothy Powers? I don't...why didn't you tell me earlier?" Tecna asked, surprised that Timmy was the owner of the company that she really wanted to work for.

"Well, I was going to. However, when I came to the convention I was looking for a blonde, the way that I had seen you in pictures and videos. But then I saw this beautiful, purple haired, woman struggling with her bag and I needed to help. It wasn't until that we reached the convention center entrance that I realized that it was you. I thought that by this morning that you would realize who I was. But when you didn't, I became more intrigued by you. Would you have acted the same way if you knew that I was Timothy Powers, billionaire, and tech 'wizard'? I wanted to tell you who I was and offer you the job but I think that I let my feelings and attraction for you get in the way which is probably one of the most illogical and creepy things that I could do." Timmy gave Tecna a shy look, "I told you that I am terrible with people."

Tecna's face was frozen in shock. Everything that she knew about this man had blown up in her face. She didn't really know how to react.

"But at the booth?"

"There was a lot of hand waving and silent threats going on behind you." Timmy chuckled.

"The old man that presents at conferences?" Tecna asked.

"That's my dad. I decided to make him the face of the company. I was eighteen and a bumbling idiot that barely knew how to talk to people when I started my company, I still am an idiot. And me talking in front of people?" Timmy dumped the crumbs of chips into his mouth, "That would have been a disaster."

Tecna glanced over to see her completed Nims Games application. She ran a finger over the printed logo at the letterhead and looked up at Timmy.

"So what am I to do now?" Tecna asked.

"Well, you can give me the application or you can rip it up because I don't think that you will want to have me as a boss. Someone who told you that they were interested in you and you don't feel the same way. Then again, I know how to be professional and I wouldn't cross business and pleasure." Timmy shrugged as he stood up and walked over to the small plastic garbage bin in between the hotel beds. He threw away the empty bag of chips and turned around to see Tecna standing right behind him. His heart jumped when he saw her. Her blue eyes were glistening and serious.

He stared at her silently, the air in the room grew more and more dense as hazel met bright blue. Timmy dared not to break the silence, he figured that he had done enough talking. He told her how he felt or how he thought that he felt. But the thing is that with her he didn't know how to feel and that was equally the most scary and exhilarating thing that he had ever experienced.

Tecna didn't know how she felt now that she knew all about him. Well, knew the important parts about him. She knew why he was here and the reason was her. What surprised her most was the fact that she felt the same way and he didn't think that she did.

Everything that she felt for him was illogical but at the same time, it felt right. He was a big, awkward, cute, insufferable, and kind dork. He was the antithesis of the men that she thought that she wanted. She had wanted a Specialist like her friends. A man who was strong and confident. Timmy tried to be that and she hated it. She much preferred the bumbling idiot that she had spent the morning with. He was oblivious to the way that he had made her feel only a few moments at the vending machine. Even now, her head was spinning.

Everything about this was illogical but Tecna never felt more sure about anything in her life.

Breaking the small space between them, Tecna took a step towards Timmy. She held her breath and noticed that he held his. She dared not to breathe in fear that if she did the moment would be gone.

She placed a soft hand on his chest, careful to not touch him too hard. Did he want her to touch him? She felt him shudder under her touch and she wanted to pull away but instead leaned forward and placed a shaky kiss on his lips.

Backing away, her hand still on his chest, Tecna's cheeks reddened and her eyes refused to meet Timmy's. She felt a hand under her chin and her head was lifted so that her eyes would meet his soft gaze. His hazel eyes were warm behind the cool lenses of his glasses. She gasped as she felt his lips on hers.

His lips were warm, unlike the cool breath that hit her senses at the vending machine. They were both stiff as their lips met for a second time. Tecna's eyes began to close as she melted into the kiss, her legs becoming jelly and her arms wanting to reach out for more of him. She was smarter than this. More in control of her actions and emotions. But with him, her mind went blank and if someone were to ask her her name, she wouldn't be able to tell them.

Placing his hands on Tecna's hips, Timmy slowly began to move his lips exploring the ways in which her lips felt on his. He had kissed a girl before but never before had it felt like this. Her mouth moved with his and slowly their kiss became more hungry. Her hands snaked up his chest and wrapped around his strong neck. She stood on her toes as she deepened the kiss.

Their lips moved together in tandem, small gasps escaping their mouths as they begged for air but refusing to be the one to end the kiss.

Timmy's hands moved from her hips, to her waist, to finally wrapping around her back and pulling her close to him. Tecna's tongue grazed across his lips and Timmy parted his mouth for her. The taste of salt from the pretzels hit his taste buds as their mouths opened for one another. A moan escaped her mouth and Tecna pushed Timmy off of her in shock.

"I am sorry." Tecna gasped. Her face was red and she was out of breath.

"What do you have to be sorry for?" Timmy asked, his face as equally red and his chest heaving up and down. "I am the one who wanted more."

"Did you not hear that?" Tecna asked as she glanced up at Timmy, her eyes filled with terror for her sudden noise of desire.

"I think so," Timmy stepped closer to Tecna, "but maybe that was just my imagination hoping that you actually wanted me."

"I do," Tecna sighed as Timmy ran his hand across her warm cheek, "but it is late..."

"And you have a presentation tomorrow." Timmy smiled down at Tecna. He pulled back his hand and placed a small kiss on her cheek.

Tecna walked over to the door and placed his hand on the small silver handle.

"Good luck, tomorrow." Timmy glanced back at Tecna, a warm smile on his face, "I know you will do amazing."

Tecna watched as Timmy walked out of the room, taking the warmth and the joy out with it.

Tecna paced the small conference room, slapping her notecards against her small hands. She ran through the presentation in her head as Della, Wizgiz, and Stephanie were setting up the technical equipment. She would usually be the one to set up everything but at the moment, she was trying to remember how to string together a coherent sentence.

She had been a wreck since last night. When Timmy left her room, she couldn't bring herself to work on any more applications. Every part of her mind was consumed by the ginger boy with the red glasses. His laugh filled her ears, his smile clouded her vision, his touch lingered on her body, and the taste and feel of his lips brought her to a point of no return. She fell asleep and resigned to the fact that she may never be able to think about anything else again.

Her heels clacked against the carpeted floor. She looked down at the shiny black material of her heels and saw her reflection. She looked like the picture of professionalism on the inside but inside she was ready to explode.

"Tec," Tecna spun on her heels to see Della standing in front of her, a sympathetic smile on her face, "you are going to be fine."

Tecna nodded her head and took in a deep breath, "Sorry, I am just a bit nervous. I have a few job offers depending on this presentation."

She couldn't admit the reason that she was a wreck was because of Timmy. She was always so calm and logical and now she felt like a computer on the fritz and she needed mending quickly.

"Alright," Wizgiz clapped his hands together and smiled, "I think that we are ready to go. If you girls just want to run through your presentation and make sure that everything is working, that might help calm down some nerves. Mainly mine."

The girls laughed at the small professor, he always knew how to lighten the mood of everyone around him.

Della, Stephanie, and Tecna took their places at the podium with Stephanie being in control of the slides. Tecna looked out to the supportive faces of the rest of her classmates but each face began to turn into that of Timmy's. She shut her eyes and shook her head, trying to rid her brain of everything Timmy.

They ran through their presentation and worked out the kinks before it was time to present. Tecna walked over to the small table and took a sip from her water bottle. Timmy's words wishing her good luck ran through her head.

"Alright, ladies," Wizgiz wrapped his arms around the girl's shoulders and pulled them down into a huddle, "you have worked hard on this. I know you can do it!"

The three girls nodded and thanked their professor as he released them from the huddle. Tecna, Della, and Stephanie took their places at the front of the room as Wizgiz opened the door. A sizable crowd started to file into the room but Tecna's eyes searched for a certain tech owner. So far she had not seen him. She had told him the pseudonym that she was entered under, the time, and the room that she would be in.

It was time and Tecna felt her heart drop when she didn't see him in the crowd. Did she just imagine what happened last night? He said that he would be there yesterday morning or did she imagine that as well? This weekend nothing made sense and logic eluded her more times than not.

Della began to talk and Tecna couldn't think of anything else other than Timmy. As hard as she tried to block him out, she couldn't. She felt like she was going through the presentation on auto-pilot, never missing a beat. But she knew that she sounded like a robot as her concentration was on not letting the tears fall from her eyes.

The presentation was over quicker than Tecna had noticed and it was time for questions. She turned under the guise of grabbing a drink to wipe her eyes.

"Are you okay?" Stephanie whispered.

Tecna took a drink from her water bottle as she nodded.

"Are you sure?" Stephanie asked.

"Yes," Tecna's voice shook, "just an overload of adrenaline and nerves."

Stephanie turned to face the crowd, not wanting to press Tecna any further. Tecna took a deep breath before she turned back to the crowd with a smile and began fielding questions.

The questions ended just as quickly as the presentation and Tecna had gotten through with nobody being the wiser on what was really running through her mind. Thank goodness for late night practices and knowing the research inside and out.

"Tec," Della skipped up to Tecna, a man and woman behind her, "these are my parents."

Tecna smiled as she held out her hand to greet the two older adults, "Very nice to meet you."

"We have heard so much about you." Della's father smiled down at the purple haired woman. "Dellarose tells us how much she looks up to you."

Tecna blushed at the compliment, "I am afraid that it is I who looks up to her. She is one of the kindest people that I have ever met and it has been an honor working with her."

Della's parents smiled at Tecna, thankful for her kind words.

"Are you going to join us for dinner?" Della's mother asked.

Tecna sighed and held her head down, "I think that I am going to have to decline. But thank you for the invitation."

"Are you sure?" Della's mom asked, "We would love to have you."

"Yes," Tecna looked up and gave her a small smile, "it has been a long day and I would love to turn early. Thank you for the invitation. You three have a great time."

To be honest, Tecna didn't feel like eating. She just wanted to get out of the stuffy conference room and lock herself away in her room. She politely dismissed herself before she quickly grabbed her things and walked out of the conference room and made a beeline for the elevator.

She quickly pressed the small round button, praying that the silver doors would open before the tears that she had been holding in finally broke through and rushed down her cheeks. The doors opened and she rushed into the elevator and pressed the button for the doors to close. She leaned back on the rail in the elevator and held her mouth as sobs threatened to escape her mouth.

There was a hand that stopped the elevator doors from closing and Tecna's heart stopped. She didn't want to be caught in this vulnerable position. What if this had been somebody important? When she looked up, she froze. It was much worse than that.

Timmy walked into the elevator, dressed in a sleek dark grey suit. He had a smile on his face but when he saw Tecna and her tear stained cheeks, his smile fell.

"Tecna," Timmy whispered, "what is wrong?"

Tecna glared at the tall man in front of her as she felt the elevator begin to ascend.

"Did something happen?" Timmy asked again as he stepped closer to Tecna.

She raised a hand and swatted her away from him. He jumped back in shock at her sudden aggression.

"You didn't come." Tecna's voice broke through silent tears.

"I...I didn't think that you would want me there." Timmy shrugged as he looked down.

"What would make you think that?" Tecna asked.

"I thought that I would just make you nervous but once again," Timmy sighed, "I think that when it came to feelings and people, I was wrong."

"I looked for you in the crowd, you told me that you would be there. You weren't there." Tecna cried.

"I'm so sorry. If I had known how..." Timmy lingered before he groaned and pulled at his hair, "I am an idiot. You have to know that I had your best intentions in mind. I thought that you wouldn't want me there. I knew how much this presentation meant for your professional career and I didn't want to screw it up for you. I thought that I was doing the right thing but I guess not."

Tecna silently looked up at Timmy who had leaned back on the wall of the elevator, his head resting back on the cold metal.

"Ever since I have met you, I have turned into a fucking imbecile. I thought that I had people down and I thought that I knew what to do in almost every situation. Every situation has been predictable, methodical, mathematical. But with you," Timmy straightened his head to look at Tecna, "nothing is predictable. The way that I feel about you has defied logic and I don't know how to act. I didn't prepare for someone like you."

The tears in Tecna's eyes ceased falling as she looked up at Timmy. His face was pained and for two people who relied so much on logic, they looked like emotional wrecks in the middle of the small elevator. There was ding and the doors opened but Tecna and Timmy couldn't move. Their eyes were trained on each other.

"I wanted you there." Tecna whispered, the first one to break the silence.

Without thinking, Tecna lunged forward and landed in Timmy's arms. Her lips smashed against Timmy's and her hands ran through his hair. The smooth strands of his hair felt like cool silk and his lips felt like fire.

The kiss was frenzied and hot. Anger, sadness, desire, love, and joy was poured into the kiss. Timmy's arms squeezed around Tecna's waist and held her close. He lifted her off the ground and her legs wrapped around his waist. He pushed himself away from the cold metal wall and fumbled around trying to find the button that would open the door of the elevator once again. His lips moved against Tecna's before they broke away and began kissing down her slender jaw and down to her neck. She threw back her head as she let out soft moans.

The elevator door opened and Timmy carried Tecna out of the elevator and down the hall where at the end was his room. He pulled the key card out of his pocket and swiped open the door. Swinging open the door, Timmy came tumbling with Tecna in his arms, her hand traveling to his suit jacket. She tugged at the arms as his mouth still made heavy work on her pale neck.

Tecna hissed as she felt him bite down on her neck, sure to leave a small mark that she would either need to cover up or explain away to her friends. She would have to think of something because telling them that she had spent the night making out with a billionaire tech mogul would have been unbelievable to them.

Raising his head to meet her lips again, Timmy held onto Tecna's small frame with one arm as he shrugged out of his suit jacket, switching arms before the jacket fell to the floor. Timmy walked over to his bed and threw Tecna onto the plush mattress. She was finally able to look around the room and found that this room was twice as big as the room that she shared with Della.

Timmy crawled onto the bed and settled between Tecna's legs, tracing his hands up her stockinged legs. The material rough against his finger tips. Tecna shivered under his touch. She pulled him down to her as her lips met his again in a heated kiss.

Gasps, moans, and pants escaped their lips as they continued to kiss. Tecna's hands moved to the buttons of Timmy's smooth burnt orange shirt, quickly undoing the buttons. Her hands shook with anticipation as she undid each button. Timmy broke the kiss to help her and took off his shirt.

Tecna couldn't but to help but to gawk at his strong chest and torso. His muscles were lean and his olive colored skin stretched across the dips and mounds of his muscles.

"Is everything okay?" Timmy asked, his eyes trained on Tecna's wide eyed face.

"You are beautiful." Tecna exhaled as she ran a hand over Timmy's chest.

Timmy blushed as he looked down at Tecna. He never thought of himself as beautiful or attractive. He had been one of the smaller men at Red Fountain and he was not considered to be the strongest or most desirable. Women would run after his friends which left him alone at his computer most nights as his friends would go on dates.

"No I am not." Timmy replied as he ran a soft hand through Tecna's short purple hair, "If anyone in this room is beautiful, it is you."

Tecna smiled as her eyes met Timmy's. She reached up and brought Timmy's lips down to hers in a soft and tender kiss. Her hands slowly went down to her purple button up top while Timmy's hands continued to softly and slowly travel up Tecna's legs until they reached the hem of the charcoal pencil skirt that she wore. He paused to wait for her presentation.

His hands hovered over the seam, waiting for indication that he could travel further. Tecna opened her legs slightly and Timmy decided to test the waters. He moved his hand slowly, shaking as he crossed over her knee and settled lightly on her thigh. He painfully tore his lips from Tecna's to look for some form of affirmation but was surprised that in his trepidation over her legs that she had removed her blouse to reveal a black, lace bra.

"Tec..." her name caught in his throat as he looked down at her. He had never been this close to a woman before and never a woman as beautiful as Tecna.

Tecna's body flushed as she looked down and away, growing self conscious. Maybe he didn't want to go that far? Maybe he really was serious about just being at the convention for business and did not want to mix in pleasure. She would have never thought that she would be even remotely close to being in this position, especially at a tech convention. But here she was, lost in the sea of her emotions and Timmy serving as both the storm and the lifeboat.

"Have I gone too far?" Tecna asked, her blue eyes filled with worry.

"No," Timmy exclaimed, maybe a little too fast, "I was hoping that I wasn't. I just don't want you to think of me as more of a freak than you already do."

"I don't think that you are a freak," Tecna smiled, "sure you came on a little strong when we first met but I think...I know that you are what I want. You are not a freak and if you are, then I am too."

Timmy smiled as he placed a kiss on Tecna's forehead.

"So are you going to undress me or do I have to do that by myself?" Tecna smirked as she readjusted herself under Timmy's body.

Timmy wasted no time returning his mouth to Tecna's and his hands back down to her stockings. He pulled down at the thin fabric on her legs and shed them off of her. His hands then focused on taking off her skirt. She lifted her hips as he tugged down on the fabric. The material slowly fell down Tecna's slender hips and Timmy pulled them away from her legs and the fabric met the floor with the rest of her clothes. She was now left in her undergarments.

Olive and freckled hands were placed on her stomach as she breathed in and out. He felt the muscles of her abdomen move underneath his hands. It felt like waves under his fingertips and her skin was smooth and soft. His hands made their way down her abdomen before landing at the waistband of her underwear. Once again, Timmy waited for permission.

Tecna arched her back and lifted her hips into Timmy's hold.

"Timmy," Tecna whined, her lips moving against his as she spoke, "don't make me beg for it. Touch me."

Timmy smirked before he dug under the waistband and his hand was met with the smooth mound above her sex. His breath hitched as he felt how wet she was. There was no way that she was wet for him? Was he imagining it? What was to say that all of this wasn't just some illusion or simulation? He would worry about that later but for now, he would enjoy every moment of it.

He began to rub at the small nub at the top and moved his fingers in small circles. She gasped as she gripped Timmy's muscular arms, her back arched and her chest met his. Timmy's mind began to swirl as he heard her moans and gasps, knowing that he was the one to give them to her. He began to place small kisses on her collarbone, feeling the air that ran through her chest and out of her mouth. He could feel the blood pulse through her body against his lips and he finally understood what all those old poets were going on about.

His lips grazed her skin as her hands ran through his hair and down his back. Logic could not explain the way that he felt about her.

"Tecna." Her name came out in a breath. Her hands made their way down to the buckle of his belt and began fiddling with the silver metal. The buckle fell onto his hips with a clank and her hand made quick of his buttons and zipper.

Kicking off his pants, Timmy felt her hands slip down his boxers and free his hardening member from its cloth confines. She began stroking causing Timmy's hands to still above her wet sex. He huffed as her hand moved up and down, her other hand moving her underwear off of her lower half. Timmy removed his hand and tore away her underwear.

"I'll buy you new ones." Timmy grunted in her ear as she continued to stroke at his now hard cock. For good measure, Timmy reached behind Tecna and yanked at the clasps of her bra, breaking the plastic hooks and threw the bra off of her body to the floor. He promised her another one of those as well.

His head fell down to her chest and began to kiss the white mounds on her ribs. The kisses were gentle and Tecna sighed with every kiss. Every part of Timmy that touched her body was more than she could handle.

"Timmy," Tecna moaned out his name, "I need you."

Timmy's head lifted, "Are you sure?"

"Yes." Tecna kissed his cheek as she lifted her knees. She closed her eyes as she felt Timmy at the edge of her entrance. He rubbed his cock against the wetness between her legs before he slowly pushed in.

A gasp escaped Tecna's lips as she felt herself being stretched and filled. Her eyes shot open and her hands instinctively reached for Timmy. Wrapping her arms around him, Tecna felt as Timmy moved slowly inside of her. He exhaled as he reached the bottom of her shallow depths. His head flopped down and his breath was ragged.

"Timmy," Tecna moaned, "don't stop."

That small encouragement gave Timmy the strength to continue. His hips began to move slowly back and forth, his cock sliding in and out of her. She moaned and he had never heard such sweet music. She panted his name and he had never been so glad to be named Timmy.

He saw stars and they were designed in constellations that looked like her. He moved faster and faster, wanting her to feel the same way that he did.

Tecna's mind was foggy as she looked up at Timmy. She took in the way his eyes became softer and his mouth upturned into a small smile as he moved in and out of her. His name came out like a mantra, familiar to the ones that she would hear as Bloom would pray to the Gods that they had on Earth. In Zenith, the concept of God was irrational as everything had a logical explanation but right now, feeling Timmy move within her, she was in heaven. She became a believer in an unexplainable deity because what she was feeling with Timmy was also unexplainable.

"Oh God," Tecna exhaled as she gripped the soft sheets underneath her. Her back arched and Timmy's hand held her up as he continued to rock his hips in and out.

He held her in his arms as he felt a tightening consume his entire body, threatening to tear him from the inside out. He could feel every atom of his being reach the edge of being destroyed because of her. He wanted to weep or cry out but his body would not let him. Seeing her face contorted to one of pleasure made him hold on to her for dear life as he began to come undone.

"Tecna," Timmy cried out as he held onto Tecna and pulled her up to his chest as his other arm held them up, "I...I..."

"Timmy," Tecna moaned, "cum for me. Please."

Timmy found the strength to pump inside of her a few more times. He felt her sex clench down on him and he lost it. His mind went blank and he felt his core explode.

Tecna moaned as she felt Timmy unload inside of her, the warm liquid coating her walls and threatening to spill out what he pulled out. He collapsed on top of her and she ran her hands down his back. The sticky sweat of their bodies mixing together and their bodies entangling with one another.

The room was filled with the sound of their breaths and the smell of their overheated bodies. Timmy gasped as he struggled to catch his breath.

"Tecna..." Timmy swallowed in a gulp of air, "that was...I don't think that I have the words to explain what you have done to me that would make any sense in any language."

Tecna giggled as she brushed back Timmy's damp hair from his sweaty brow. She laughed when she realized that he had not taken off his glasses and they were crooked on his face. Her hands reached for his glasses and she took them in her hands. She smiled as she finally looked at Timmy's face, free from the thick red-framed glasses.

"I tried contacts..." Timmy shrugged as he looked down at Tecna.

"I like the glasses." Tecna grinned as she placed them back on his face. Cupping his face, she placed a gentle kiss on his lips.

Timmy rolled over to his side and turned to look at Tecna. Her body on it's side, facing Timmy. He didn't know what to say to her so he said nothing. He ran his hand lightly up and down the curve of her waist to her hips.

"So, what do we do now?" Tecna asked as she looked at Timmy's serene face.

"What do you mean?" Timmy sighed.

"I go back to Alfea tomorrow and you go back to being a successful game developer. I don't know where I fit into all of that."

Timmy gave Tecna a smile, "I did come here for you. To give you a job."

"Was the sex part of you getting me on your team?" Tecna's eyebrow cocked up.

"No," Timmy laughed, "trust me when I had no intention of any of this happening. Even coming here to ask you to join our development team was a long shot on whether you would say yes."

"I don't think that I could work for you." Tecna blushed.

Timmy placed an elbow underneath him and propped his body up to look down at Tecna, "Why do you say that?"

"I think that I broke the number one rule of not sleeping with the boss. Could you imagine what people would say? That I got the job because I fucked the owner of the company." Tecna chuckled.

"Then don't work for me," Timmy pulled Tecna close to him, "but I want you in my life. We can communicate when you are at school and when you graduate at the end of the semester, come and live with me."

"As long as you help me with my job applications." Tecna looked up at Timmy, "I don't want to be seen as some gold-digger."

"Of course I will help," Timmy placed a kiss on her chest, "I will write you the best recommendations."

"I don't want you doing that. I want to get jobs on my own."

"Fine," Timmy lifted his head and placed a kiss on her cheek, "but tomorrow, get breakfast with me. You still need to eat. I'll pay."

"Logically."

I hope that you liked this one. I think that I like writing longer one-shots but do you like them? I don't know how fast I will be able to get them out but if you like them, I will work on them in addition to shorter stories as well. As always, review and leave suggestions and I will try to get to them in a timely manner.
