Here's chapter 5! Enjoy! Please let me know what you think! :)

Meanwhile at Adrian's apartment...

"Oh honey, I am so sorry to hear that about Ricky." Cindy said sincerely as she hugged Adrian.

"Thanks Mom...I just don't know what to do." Adrian said sadly through her tears.

"Well you should view this as an opportunity to find a new guy, eh? Eres joven, diviértete!" Cindy said happily.

"I know I'm young Mom but how can I have fun when I'm hurting?" Adrian said seriously as she wiped her face with a tissue.

"Just forget about Ricky...I know it won't be easy since he goes to your school but there are plenty of fish in the sea, no? I know you can do better than him because you are my daughter and you won't settle for some jerk. Solo se fuerte." Cindy said honestly as she smiled.

"Heh...Gracias Mamá...I love you." Adrian said kindly as she gave Cindy another hug.

"Of course, Adrian! I love you too. Let's make some tacos...What do you say?" Cindy said sweetly as she rubbed Adrian's back and then let go of her.

"You don't have to work tonight?" Adrian asked as she looked at Cindy.

"Nope...Not until Monday...Let's eat!" Cindy said enthusiastically as she got up from the couch.

"All right...Sounds good!" Adrian said excited as she stood up.

Meanwhile at a park...

Amy was walking on a path when Jack accidentally bumped into her running.

"Ow! Oh man! I am so sorry, miss...Oh it's you!" Jack said after he fell and then slowly got up as he looked at Amy.

"No I'm sorry...I didn't see you there." Amy said kindly as she put her phone in her jean pocket.

"Nah it's all good...I guess I was running a little too fast...You're the french horn player right?" Jack said a little out of breath.

"Ha ha I guess so...Yes, it's Amy...Jack right?" Amy said as she giggled and then nicely.

"Yeah and I thought Amy was your name...Sorry again for bumping into you...Uh, I had a question for you actually." Jack said smiling and then seriously.

"It's ok...What is it?" Amy said nervously.

"I was wondering if you would like to go to this dance thing at our church...It's actually my Dad's church...He's the pastor there but it's next Friday night after the game...We can just go as friends...No pressure." Jack said honestly.

"Um...Are you sure, Jack? I don't really know you." Amy said a little concerned.

"Yes Amy...It will give us a chance to know each other better...If you're interested...Since I play football and you're in the band I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of each other." Jack said in a genuine tone.

"Oh ok...Yeah sure! It sounds like fun!" Amy said happily as she blushed a little.

"Ok awesome! Also are you doing anything tonight? I just have to run for another half a mile if you want to get dinner?" Jack said excited and then nicely.

"Uh...Not really...I would like that actually." Amy said a little confused and then sweetly.

"All right, cool...Here's my number...Just text me your address and I'll pick you up at seven." Jack said smiling as he wrote his number on Amy's palm.

"Sounds good! I'll see you then!" Amy said joyfully and Jack continued to run down the path.

Meanwhile at the movie theater...

"That movie was awesome! So much action!" Henry said excited.

"Yeah dude! I really enjoyed it!" Ben said with a huge smile on his face.

"Ugh...Yeah if you prefer guys shooting at each other while they dangerously drive cars through a city and they don't experience any consequences for their actions." Alice said annoyed as she rolled her eyes.

"Geeze, Alice lighten up...Next time we'll take you to see a chick flick...If you want to." Henry said a little irritated and then nicely.

"Ok fine, whatever...More importantly what did you think of Chelsea, Ben?" Alice said aggravated and then curiously.

"Oh...Well she was nice I guess...Although she seemed anxious to leave after the movie." Ben said seriously.

"Hmm...I wonder if that means she liked you?" Henry asked inquisitively.

"Probably not...The fact that she wanted to get home right away tells me that you two didn't hit it off." Alice said as she put her helmet on.

"At least we had a good time, right?" Ben said positively.

"No doubt! We'll have to do this again sometime." Henry said happily as he gave Ben a high five.

"Ok settle down, children...Let's go get some ice cream...I'm craving some sugar after all that salty popcorn." Alice said sarcastically as she got on her bike.

"I could give you some sugar later." Henry smirked as he climbed onto his bike.

"Heh, in your dreams...Let's go!" Alice said a little annoyed and then she started pedaling her bike.

"Wow, you two sure a perfect match." Ben said kindly as he started to pedal his bike.

Meanwhile at Ricky's house...

"So you officially broke it off with Adrian?" Margaret asked Ricky as she sat at the kitchen table.

"Yeah...What's your point? It's not like we were together." Ricky said in an irritated voice.

"Hmm...But you two were together physically, correct?" Margaret asked honestly.

"Again, what are you trying to say? Just because we had sex doesn't mean we were together." Ricky said seriously.

"Maybe not to you but in her mind she probably viewed that as being with you...Like in a relationship." Margaret said calmly.

"What? I thought she just wanted to have fun...I don't understand." Ricky said concerned.

"Listen, son...Once you have physical intimacy with someone it's not just fun...Like going bowling or to the movies...It's a very serious thing and I don't think you're ready to be doing it." Margaret said kindly.

"Well it's fun to me...I don't care what you think...I can do whatever I want." Ricky said stubbornly.

"Ricky Underwood! You will care about what I think because I'm your mother! Is that clear?!" Margaret said angrily as she raised her voice.

"Ok, ok...I'm sorry, Mom...Please continue." Ricky said sincerely.

"Thank you...Now what are you going to do if you get a girl pregnant? Have you really thought about your actions?" Margaret said nicely and then concerned.

"Get a girl pregnant? Heh...Like that's going to happen." Ricky said a little annoyed as he rolled his eyes.

"How do you know it won't happen? I am being serious about this." Margaret sad with a worried look on her face.

"Because I'm very careful...Don't worry, everything's fine." Ricky said as he smiled.

"I sure hope so...For everyone's sanity." Margaret said honestly as she gave Ricky a hug.

"Love you, Mom." Ricky said nicely as he hugged Margaret.

"I love you too, son. We're always here for you." Margaret said happily as she patted Ricky on the back.

Meanwhile at Grace's house...

"Please Dad...Can I go to the Dairy Shack? All the cheerleaders are going to hang out and get some food." Grace begged.

"All right, fine...But I want you back home by 10...We have church in the morning." Marshall said sternly.

"Is 11 ok?" Grace said smiling.

"Sure, honey...Not a minute later." Kathleen said sweetly as she sat on the couch.

"Thanks Mom! I'm going to get ready!" Grace said excited as she walked out of the living room.

"11? You don't think that's too late?" Marshall asked concerned.

"No, she'll be fine...We used to be out past midnight." Kathleen said nicely as she smirked.

"Ha ha...As I recall that was when we were in our late 20s...Grace is only in high school." Marshall said honestly after he grinned.

"Come on, dear...Tom is out with a friend and we'll have the house to ourselves for awhile." Kathleen said kindly as she rubbed Marshall's hand.

"Ok fair enough...I'm glad Tom has a friend he can do things with...What was her name?" Marshall said smiling and then intrigued.

"Uh...I'm not sure exactly...We'll have to ask him later." Kathleen said confused.

"Well he knows to call if he needs anything...But do you think I was too hard on Grace?" Marshall said smiling and then concerned.

"About Jack? Of course not...He is definitely not the right guy for her...You did the right thing, honey." Kathleen said honestly.

"Ok good...How about we order pizza? I'm starving from all the frisbee from earlier." Marshall said nicely as he stood up from the couch.

"Sounds great to me!" Kathleen said happily as she got up from the couch.

Later at the Dairy Shack...

"So have you been here before?" Jack asked as he sat in the booth.

"No...Have you?" Amy asked nicely as she sat down across from Jack.

"Yeah a few times...My friends and I like it...Heh...You're not nervous are you?" Jack said smiling and then concerned.

"Um...Maybe a little...I mostly hang out with my girlfriends so this is...sort of new to me." Amy said nervously.

"Don't be nervous...Like I said at the park, no pressure...How long have you been playing the french horn?" Jack said kindly.

"Ok...Since 6th grade basically...I love it...How long have you played football?" Amy said as she smiled.

"There's a smile...Heh...Since middle school too...I've always really liked sports." Jack said happily.

"Heh...Thanks for making me smile, Jack...That's something I haven't been doing much of lately." Amy said sweetly.

"Anytime, Amy...I really like your smile, actually...But how come you haven't been smiling lately?" Jack said gently.

"Um thanks...Well my parents haven't been getting long...It's exhausting." Amy said smiling and then honestly as she pushed her hair back.

"Oh...I'm sorry to hear that...My parents are pretty cool I guess...But we don't have to talk about our parents right now...I don't want to upset you." Jack said sincerely and then seriously.

"Ok...Heh...Sorry if I'm not that interesting." Amy said nicely and then sadly as she looked down at the table.

"No it's ok...I like talking to you, Amy." Jack said kindly as he started to grab Amy's hands.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Grace said angrily from behind Jack.
