Just got back from a trip and wanted to put up a new chapter for you all. Shorter and probably worse than my last chapter since I kinda rushed this one, Sorry! I promise I'll put a lot more time into the next chapter.

Chapter 4: Arriving at Water 7

After a long night of eating and drinking to their hearts content, the strawhats and their two new members had all fallen asleep except for Robin. She was lying down in her chair on the deck and thinking about everything that had happened in the last day. 'This is truly fascinating,' she thought, 'Two strangers from a foreign place and culture must have some interesting ideas and perspectives, they certainly will fit in with this crew of misfits.' She had also noticed that while on the surface Percy and Annabeth seemed to enjoy themselves, they were clearly hiding a deep pain that only someone else who has experienced immense trauma could understand.

She was brought out of her thoughts when she heard someone coming up to the deck. Percy appeared and quickly saw Robin before coming over and taking a seat next to her. They sat silently for a couple minutes while Percy stared at the night sky and Robin watched him curiously.

"The stars, the constellations, they aren't anything like back home." Percy said quietly.

"Do you miss it? The sky where you come from?"

"Yah," Percy replied, "I had a friend back home, one of the bravest people I knew, she gave her life bravely protecting what she believed in and was given a place in the stars. I always felt comfortable and at peace knowing that she was watching over me and my friends every night. Before coming here, Annabeth and I spent weeks in a….dark place and I just hoped I could see her in the night sky again someday but I guess that dream won't ever come true now."

They were silent after that, Percy sadly remembering his home while Robin sat there both curious about her new crewmate as well as determined to befriend this boy and his girlfriend who had clearly lost so much and need some happiness in their lives. "I know this may not seem like much given you lost all your friends and family, but now that you are a part of this crew, everyone is here for you both. You have new friends now who will stay by your side.

Percy was extremely grateful at Robin's words, and felt relaxed and hopeful as he sat there for another couple minutes before he returned to Annabeth and went to sleep next to the woman he loved.

The next day.

"Wow! It's so cool!" Luffy said excitedly as Water 7 came into view.

"This place is amazing!" Usopp agreed looking at the unique city of water and ship builders which sat in front of them.

Annabeth and Percy, hearing the commotion, got up from their bed in the med bay and walked onto the deck to see what had everyone so excited. Once they saw the city, they were both amazed. Percy looked like a baby with (blue) candy as he saw the city built into the sea in front of him. Annabeth was just as amazed looking at the architecture in wonder.

"This is amazing! They use the surrounding sea water around the island to create canals to use for travel, we need to get a closer look at the city Percy! The city is built like a combination of Venice's ingenuity and renaissance French architecture." Annabeth was more excited than she had been since finding Percy after he had been missing for months, this city island was something she just had to learn more about.

Robin was happy to see the two so excited knowing what they had just recently gone through.

The strawhats docked their boat on the outskirts of the city and made their way in with Nami doing her best to keep the crew on task And focused on protecting their money and fixing the ship.

Everyone ended up getting split up, Annabeth and Percy decided to go explore the city on their own in their first real date alone since they reunited in New Rome, while Nami, Usopp, and Luffy took the money to the shipwright "Iceburg" That had been recommended to them and Robin, Sanji, and Chopper went to get supplies.

Percy was content as he and Annabeth walked around the city. He loved listening (And maybe zoning out a bit) as Annabeth ranted about the amazing Architecture. They grabbed a bite to eat and walked around the city before the day began to turn to night and they decided to return to the ship.

They were not expecting what happened once they got back from a great day. They returned to an angry and beat up Usopp storming away from the ship and towards the city.

"What has him in a hissy fit, and why does everyone look like they fought through a horde of scary clowns?" Percy Joked before becoming silent seeing everyone's serious faces.

"We were robbed by the Franky gang, Usopp tried going in alone and got hurt. We couldn't let that stand and destroyed them. We also found out the Going Merry can't stay with us anymore on our journey, she's too damaged. Usopp didn't take the news very well." Luffy said more seriously than Annabeth and Percy had ever seen him in their short time together." Percy, seeing everyone's sadness, decided to try to help. "Let me see what I can do." Using his powers as the son of Poseidon, he felt out around him and into the ship they were in and concentrated on every aspect of it. He quickly felt the problem, the damage to the ship couldn't be repaired. He said apologetically, "I'm sorry, but the shipwright who told you about the ship is right, the merry likely wouldn't be able to last another voyage." While the rest of the strawhats didn't understand how he could know that, they were still saddened to hear the truth being confirmed by their new crewmate.

Annabeth stepped in, "I know we don't know each other that well, but Percy is an expert on boats and sailing, and I'm an architect, I promise we'll help you guys build the best ship to sail these seas." despite not knowing the Going Merry like the rest of the crew, the fact that their new friends were so willing to help touched the strawhats and lifted their mood a bit.

"All right, Everyone get some rest, tomorrow, we're meeting with Iceburg and building a ship worthy to succeed the Merry." Luffy said, and everyone tired after a long day followed captains orders and decided to go to sleep. Tomorrow would be a long day as they would try to fix what they could with both the crew and the ship after the difficult day they just had.
