Requested by Owl. Hope you like it, it was a really odd concept, and it was really fun to write.

Russetfur woke up in the middle of the warrior den to the racket that had since become normal for Shadowclan mornings. She padded outside, tail twitching as her eyes adjusted to the light. Sol was once again standing on the Pinebranch, the place reserved for the leader of Shadowclan, and yelling down to them about his teachings. Starclan had abandoned them, the warrior code is not worth pursuing. She had no idea how Blackstar believed anything the loner was saying, and was worried about what the apprentices were learning. It had already caused Tawnypelt and her kits to leave, she didn't know what would happen next.

As she stretched, enjoying the sunlight and trying to ignore Sol, she felt a familiar itch in her loins. She sighed.

"I've spent my whole life ignoring my heat every time it's come around, I can continue doing it now."

She padded over to Blackstar, who was gazing up at Sol with admiration. His nose started twitching as she approached. She knew what he scented, but didn't care.

"Blackstar I- "

"No Russetfur." He interrupted. "My name is not Blackstar, it is Blackfoot. I am no longer leader, and you are not my deputy."

"Blackfoot, I'm worried about living a lawless life." She spat the word 'foot' like it was mouse bile that ended up in her food. "That was the life I left behind when I joined Shadowclan as a loner. I'm not sure if I ca- "

Once again Blackstar interrupted her, his gaze hardening. "Starclan has abandoned us. Sol has shown us more than those dead warriors could in just one prophecy. With his guidance, Shadowclan will live an easier, more carefree life. Now please, go catch yourself some prey, or do whatever else you want to do."

She started padding out of the camp to go catch some prey, but only because the warrior code told her she had to obey her leader. On the way out, she bumped into Littlecloud, who was hurrying back into camp. She smiled. Someone who still saw sense.

"I have an urgent message for Blackfoot." He said, spitting the word 'foot' like it was an insult.

"Good luck getting through to him this time." Mewed Russetfur.

"Thank you, I will certainly need it. I'm trying to make him leave camp, and come near the Thunderclan border." Grumbled Littlecloud

Russetfur stifled a laugh. "You'll never make it that far! You'll be lucky if you get him a step out of camp!"

Littlecloud grimaced and turned towards Blackstar. Russetfur left to obey her leaders request.

She made quick work of two rabbits and a toad, and buried them so she could collect them later. She had an idea to get a few apprentices, and see if they could track where she buried the kills off of scent alone. It would make good training for the apprentices, she'd separate Shadowclan's young from Sol (at least for a while) and she wouldn't have to carry the prey back to camp.

She smiled to herself thinking of what a devious plan she had come up with, and the smile promptly dropped when she thought of Sol, and how she'd have to see him when she got back to camp.

She had reached the entrance. Russetfur slowly padded under the brambles and branches, tail hanging low at the thought of having to see Sol's smug face as he tore apart everything that was important to her.

"I joined Shadowclan all those moons ago, only because of the warrior code. Had Shadowclan not had honour, I would have been crowfood. I would have lived and died a loner, and never had any meaning to my life. He stands on Blackstar's Pinebranch and teaches my clan about how the warrior code is not important."

She walked into the camp expecting to see the thin white and brown tabby talking down to her clan, but instead saw a muscly white tom with black paws yowling in fury to Sol, who was sitting below him.

"I don't know why I every trusted you. My ancestors have abandoned me? Hah! You may have predicted the darkness that covered the sun, but you yourself are like that darkness. Blinding me from seeing what was truly right for my clan. You have until nightfall to leave the clans, or my warriors will kill you."

Sol merely looked humoured by this statement, but Russetfur noticed a sharp gleam in his eye. This wasn't over. She was sure that for Sol, this was just the beginning of his treachery and manipulation.

"Don't think you can seek refuge within another clan either. I will gladly fight tooth and claw to get to you if you even try trick another leader, mange-pelt."

Sol turned and walked quickly out of camp, his nose crinkling in fury. Russetfur simply stepped out of his way, shooting him a smirk. She turned to pad over to Blackstar, but before she could, she was interrupted by a terrible screeching from behind her.

Toadfoot had a firm grip on Sol's shoulders and was covering his skinny back with scratches, pummelling him with his hind legs. Toadfoot's pelt was absolutely covered in mud, so much so that she couldn't see any of his fur. Even so, his spine was clearly fluffed out in fury as he brutally attacked Sol.

"You're a pile of fox dung! You lied to my clan! I saw them, I saw Raggedstar and Runningnose! Starclan hasn't abandoned us! You manipulated us into following you, feeding you, protecting you, when all you wa- "

He was cut off suddenly as Russetfur dragged him off the miserable loner. He struggled momentarily until she spoke.

"You follow the leaders orders, not your own rage!" She hissed at him, her face pressed against his own. "How dare you attack him, when Blackstar has given him until nightfall to leave!"

Toadfoot stiffened. "I didn't know Blackstar exiled him, I only just returned."

Toadfoot flinched away at the fury in her eyes. "And the warrior code has taught you to attack cats unprovoked? Without knowing what your leader wants, or what's best for the clan?"

Toadfoot shook his head slowly, unable to meet her eyes any longer. She saw his nose twitching, and knew he had scented her heat, and that made her want to claw him.

Russetfur's whiskers twitched. "I'll discuss your punishment with Blackstar later. Get inside the camp, you're confined there for now."

She looked around. Sol had slunk away without her noticing during the excitement. She snorted. "Good riddance." She turned and padded after Toadfoot. She finally had her clan back.

Blackstar jumped down from the Pinebranch as she approached, disappointment and self loathing in his eyes as he realised just how misguided he had been.

"Good to see you've stopped being such a mousebrain Blackstar."

"I'm sorry, both you and Littlecloud expressed your doubts, and I was so stupid to have ignored both of you! My deputy and my medicine cat! When I promised I'd lead Shadowclan to a peaceful, better life, this was not what I meant! I swear to you I will be a better leader from this point forth."

"That was a bit of a wordspew, holding that in for a while have you?"

"Yes. I truly am sorry. I have done and said horrible things and neglected my clan and- "

"Stop apologising! What's done is done. Let's go pick up the prey I caught, its about time the fresh kill pile gets replenished." While Russetfur did need to pick up the prey, she had a better, more devious idea. It was time to see how far her leader's apologetic behaviour could go.

As they walked through the pine forest, Russetfur lead the way, tail over her core but purposely walking upwind to ensure that her scent wafted to Blackstar walking behind her. Once she was a decent distance away from camp, she turned toward her leader, whiskers twitching in amusement as she watched his nose drinking in her heat scent.

"Blackstar, I think I know part of the reason you were so easily tricked by Sol. You're pent up. You don't have a mate. When other cats are in heat, you can barely think of anything else but mounting them. The leader of Shadowclan must be single minded toward the betterment of the clan, and you cannot be that if you don't mate and get that off your mind."

She padded slowly up to him, and licked his shoulder. Blackstar looked like he might turn tail and run. She may have been in heat, but she honestly believed he needed this, and it would improve his decision-making skills significantly if he wasn't so pent up. If she got a little something out of it too, that was just an add on. Shadowclan's betterment came first.

"I offer my body to mate with you. Not because I love you, but because I love Shadowclan. I will give anything to make it the best clan it could be."

Something inside Blackstar seemed to change. He padded behind her, forced her to the ground with his powerful black paws and took a hold of her scruff. There would be no formalities or foreplay, he was just going to mate with her.

She bit back a moan as she felt the tip of his member line up with her core. He gave three failed humps, teasing her lips until his aim was true and he entered his deputy.

Russetfur felt underwhelmed. She was expecting to be furiously rutted by her leader, ending her heat and causing her endless feelings of ecstasy. However, the length of Blackstar's member was quite a lot shorter than she expected. She experimentally bucked back, testing if he was hiding any more length back there. She rubbed against his groin, finding nothing. She sighed.

"oh well, if he at least gets off, I'll have completed one of my goals."

Blackstar didn't seem to notice her disappointment, and started thrusting his entire length in and out of Russetfur at an uneven pace. Her core was squeezing and tugging at his small member causing him large feelings of pleasure. Russetfur was essentially just waiting for him to finish.

Once Blackstar managed to get into a rhythm, she started bucking back against him, wanting more length. Blackstar gripped her scruff harder and sped up significantly. He was now thrusting into her as hard and fast as he could.

The rapid pace caused Russetfur slight feelings of pleasure, as she felt his barbs scrape on the same section of her core over and over again. This caused her core to tighten, even though she wasn't feeling very euphoric from her treatment.

The tightening of her core made Blackstar thrust even faster into her for a few minutes before losing his pace from the exhaustion. Knowing that was the best feeling she was going to get from their mating, she began moaning, egging him on.

He stopped thrusting and due to being on her back, was unable to see her roll her eyes.

"Beg for me Russetfur. What do you want?"

That was a no-brainer. "Shadowclan to become the most powerful, respected clan."

He paused before replying: "Anything else?" he hilted his member in an effort to get the reply he wanted.

Russetfur thought for a moment before she realised. "Oh, your kits! Please fill me with your seed, so my belly will become rounded with your kits!"

"I don't want that actually, that would be so bad. Wait, if I had kits, would that be the greatest benefit for Shadowclan? Oh never mind, his seed probably won't reach far enough inside me due to his short length."

Having heard what he wanted he resumed thrusting, matching the pace he was at before. Russetfur had caught on, and began moaning, begging him to fill her with kits, to grant her Shadowclan's future.

A combination of her moans, her core weakly coaxing him on, and his rapid thrusts brought him to his climax, as he hilted and held. Wave after wave of his seed was sprayed inside her, while she went without her climax. She was confident he had not gone deep enough inside her to give her kits, but there was still a much larger volume of seed than she was expecting. In spite of herself, she smiled and giggled.

"Wow, you really were pent up." She mewed as he collapsed on top of her.

"Th-thank you Russetfur." He murmured

"Just promise me you won't make any mouse brained choices, and you'll at least listen to me and Littlecloud next time."

"I will. I promise."

"I may not have gotten much pleasure, but he'll be a stronger leader now. Good. That's all I could ever ask for."
