Hok'ken took his time wandering to what most of his fellow's jokingly referred to as 'The Repository." Weapons of ages long past, and droids to help practice them. Also with some self-deprecation to store Jedi who did not always act like Jedi. Out of recognized paths and specialities the path of the Weaponmaster was very rarely practiced, why would a Jedi need any weapon other than their symbol the Lightsaber?

The Bothan would not speak for the others, but for himself it was to try and connect himself to the ancient Jedi for the time before the creation of the lightsaber. The fact that Shii-Cho had been built upon the foundations of bladework, made working backwards from the Lightsaber to move forward with the blade an appropriate path to walk.

His ears perk up with the sounds of metal on metal coming from the room. Too fast for the few Padawans and Younglings who have been looking to the blade themselves and Baleros and Leree do not use weapons that would make that particular tempo of sounds.

Poking his head through the door he sees the blue-silver and sickly green blur of one of the Order's newest members between three training droids. The lights on the back of the neck of one lets him know, she's let them go lethal, and fast. Even the average jedi would struggle with this continued tempo. He sees a block she's about to miss as the droid is about to stab her, so he pulls the droid away with the Force sending it to the mat with a clatter.

"Program, Hold!" Callera's voice sharp causes all three droids to freeze in place as she glares at Hok'ken. The glare she is leveling at Hok'ken leaves him as frozen as the droids. "That blade wouldn't have hit me."

"If it did not, then the one you were facing would have slashed you."

She sets herself with her back to him, "Take the droid's place, and I will show you why you were wrong."

Normally Hok'ken would be the one to give commands like that, but he draws his blade and approaches cautiously. His stance settles into the one the droid had and starts his thrust, trusting in the... his breath leaves him as she slams her back into him, his sword arm caught mid thrust and intent clear. The droid that had been behind her had been about to be spun into the others to serve as a shield and offensive blow, controlling the flow.

She relaxes her grip and his stance eases. Understanding passes.

"I am sorry for doubting your ability," Jedi Bladesinger."

As she turns back to face him, her ice blue meets his green. "Apology accepted, Jedi..." she lets it trail off.

"Hok'ken"

"Jedi Hok'ken." her head tilts with formal acknowledgement.

"Common rules for the room are to not use the droids on that level of lethality without another present as well as a medkit." He tries to be more informative and not combative after how things started between them."

She nods in acceptance, "I have a few bacta patches in easy reach and had my comlink set to fast call the Halls of Healing. I wasn't trying to break any rules, I just set them to their highest setting after the medium setting was far too predictable."

"I find their average settings to be a good warm up myself and test of muscle memory more than the Force." The words bring Callera and Hok'ken's eyes to the rooms entrance, a slightly older human leaning on his spear and a Gand holding three pieces of metal with a set of slightly glowing links between them.

"Leree agrees, but to use all three at that setting, most unusual." The Gand's voice steady yet curious.

"Before meeting up with Master Qui-gon and Jedi Kenobi, my usual training routine was almost at that intensity per individual droid, but four to five droids programmed to coordinate with each other better."

"What would cause you to have to train like that?" The older human chimes.

"Fighting in a conflict against people who prefer to engage in melee, outnumber our order one hundred to one in the best of conflicts and because of that very nature the Force or more appropriately our ability to perceive the Force could not recognize each individual threat.

"So you have to be good enough and fast enough to react to anything and everything before the Force can even guide you to a response." The older man hypothesizes.

"Correct, Jedi..."

"I am Chiaro Baleros, and if you could not already tell, the third of our group is Leree."

Callera tilts her head lightly to the two of them, "And I am Callera Bladesinger." as she says her name she lets her trusted blade reform in her hand before slowly changing it to spear, then to throwing hatchet, and then back to her sword."

"Impressive," Leree steps towards Callera, "it is one thing to hear that you can make multiple weapons and another to see it. Can you create a weapon with multiple parts like this one?" She holds up her own sectioned staff.

"I could, but I won't." That causes her fellow Jedi to look at her closely, "I have not spent time working on using a weapon like yours. It would be disrespectful to the weapon, those who have mastered using it, and myself to create one."

Callera could actually feel the respect for her grow instantly with that statement.

"Leree thinks that is a good position to have. What weapons do you feel like you can claim to use?"

Callera chuckles softly, "If I were to list them we would be here all day, I think the list might be shorter for what I know I cannot wield."

"What do you mean?" Hok'ken brings the focus back to him.

"I know forms and rhythms for four different types of swords but all of them can be interchange ably to varying degrees and help each other. I could say I know staves and spears but they have varying lengths or haft holds that again can be multipurpose between them, and with a little focus I can change my spear or staff to meet the stance and grip needed."

"Jedi Bladesinger?" All four Jedi turn to the entrance to see Korshae is there with his staff in hand, followed a young girl who starts walking to the wall and pacing along the weapons presented there.

"Hello Korshae, how are you doing?" Callera voice picking up warm tones after her clinical breakdown.

"I am doing well, Master Drallig just informed me that Master Sirae asked for me to be delivered to her. The only reason she is not here to take me on directly, is that she is working with the Treasury and Audits Division on Nemoidia right now."

The sharp chuckle from Callera startles the room, "So I help you get a Master, but I am also the reason your Master isn't here to collect you herself."

The boys eyes shining slightly, "Yes, you did." he turns to Baleros, "I have been working on my forms everyday like you requested. May I try two droids today?"

Chiaro turns to Callera, "You evaluated him more recently then I have, do you think he's ready for two droids with staves?"

"Do you want two droids, one droid set to a higher level, or a more direct teaching from me?"

That brings the padawan to be up short. Callera had been helping him with his stances and strikes but they had not crossed staves since her 'evaluation' of him.

"I would like to spar with you."

"Let me get the droids out of the center of the mat, and then we will begin."

The boy's smile is answer enough.

As Callera slowly and steadily ramps up with the young boy, finding his limit and Hok'ken takes the young girl through basic sword forms, Leree and Baleros look on.

"She controls her space masterfully."

"Leree agrees, that seems to be her strong suit. She knows her body and the range of anything she wields and reacts appropriately."

"Did you watch any of her matches with Master Drallig?"

"Only her lightsaber duels."

"Hok'ken's little student over there watched her demonstration with Master Drallig and immediately sought out this room on her next free period."

"Leree is surprised that she did not ask Bladesinger to help her."

"She was not a Jedi yet, but Hok'ken has taken to her like a mother Nexu. I think we see his first Padawan, thanks to the ripples Bladesinger has created."

"Think will drive more interest in our arts?"

"One can only hope, Leree. So few of us hold to these ancient paths, would be shame to the Order if they disappeared."

"Shall we recommend her elevation to Weaponmaster?"

"Not yet, but I will ask that Master's Windu and Bulq formally evaluate her."

"Rumor has it that Master Windu does not like her."

"I think that he has seen enough of the galaxy to recognize that even if he does not like someone, they still can be good for a task or role at hand."
