Episode 11: [GROUP 2] / Episode 12: [GROUP 3]

As the rain passed, the two waited. It was a little after 1:00 P.M. when the storm passed, they were losing daylight. The two searched an abandoned apartment building, no bodies or any life to be found. They did though, come across some canned goods and building materials, then Genma broke the silence.

-Ryoga I can't take all this walking anymore, lets take a car or something!

Ryoga didn't want to waste breath so he tried to end the argument before it started.

-Well good luck finding any-

The sound of jangling keys was heard from Genma's hand as he grinned and showed Ryoga the keys to a Toyota. Ryoga mumbled under his breath

-better hope it has fuel you lucky panda.

-What was that Ryoga?

-NOTHING, lets get find the damn car and go!

The two searched until they found a 1997 Toyota 4Runner to which the keys matched. They climbed in, feeling the surprisingly well-kept vehicle. It started and had a full tank of gas to go with it. They were of to go further west.

As they drove, the scene was as per usual these days, abandoned cars, abandoned luggage, and other abandoned wares that held less value than life itself.

-What is that?

Saotome fumbled with his glasses as Ryoga looked away from the window.

-Huh. OH SHIT! BARRIER!

-Genma quickly slammed on the brakes and stopped a few hundred meters from the barrier, which had a section that seemed to have been rammed by another vehicle. It was an abandoned military checkpoint.

Why was it abandoned?

The two go out and looked on the other side of the barrier. There were miles of abandoned vehicles trying to leave Nerima, but that wasn't even close to the worst of it.

There were also bodies in most vehicles, others were lying as if they had tried to run away from the military. It was a mortifying scene that they wouldn't soon forget.

-Ryoga. You don't have to go through there, but we need to look for supplies.

Ryoga spun his head towards Genma, dumbfounded by what he just said, as if he needed to hear it again for clarification. But Genma hid his eyes behind the lenses of his glasses.

They go out and started checking cars, mostly limiting themselves to the trunks as to not get near the bodies.

At point, Genma was walking past a car when he mistakenly looked at the occupants of one SUV.

He pressed both hands on the windshield as he looked with pure horror in his eyes.

Ryoga stopped searching a car to make his companion focus.

Hey, we don't got time for this, LETS GO!

Genma slowly turned to his partner, with tears in his eyes.

-Ryoga, come look at this.

Genma said this in a monotone voice, setting alarm bells off in Ryoga's mind. He went to look at the vehicle knowing what to expect. But what he saw, almost made him vomit.

Inside the vehicle were two individuals that looked almost identical to Ranma and Akane. They were sitting in the front seats, the male had his left hand on the door panel and the other in the female's hand. But the female, in her other arm, held a child that was long dead.

The two has to stop searching for a moment to realize, the military would've killed every man, woman and child to contain this infection, just to save their own asses.

They searched a few miles before they decided to head back. They managed to find food and water but no weapons. That was until they reached the checkpoint.

-Hey Mr. Saotome, what that right there?

-Hm?

There was a body under a car. The person was a soldier that had been hit when the barrier fell. There was something behind his back. Genma rolled the body over and he smiled a little. He lifted a carbine rifle from the ground and tossed Ryoga a holster. He jumped but caught the holster with an actual gun in it! He inspected the weapon for identification. He saw on the side that there was print that said [H&K USP] along with kanji on the other side that spelled out [Special Forces].

Ryoga and Genma rejoiced and jumped happily to the truck and Ryoga hurriedly fumbled with the phone to call Soun. Ryoga put the phone in between them so he could hear both of them. The phone rang and the line connected.

-Hello you two, hows the search goin? You find anything?

-Well Tendo, I'm glad you asked! Me and Ryoga found a pair of weapons! An assault rifle and a pistol used by "Special Forces"!

-That's wonderful to hear, now how far are you two anyway, it already looks to be around 3 or 4 o'clock.

-We're on the highway near the hospital, but we should make it back in time before 8. We got a working truck that we'll bring back okay.

-Alright, just be careful, we don't know what can happen out there these days so just be careful.

-Understood Mr. Tendo, see ya then!

-Later Tendo!

The call ended.

The two put their findings into the trunk with the rest,Genma put the keys into the ignition and the two started for home.

After Genma saw the pair of bodies, he vowed to keep it a secret until he died. The only problem was . . . . . . . he kinda forgot to tell Ryoga.

Episode 12: [Group 3]

As the two waited for the storm to pass, the two were already finished in a house a few blocks from the school they initially searched.

Nadoka was sitting on a recliner and Shampoo opted for a sofa. Nadoka didn't see the harm in a little rain, but her companion insisted, so she asked.

-So Trampoo, why are we supposedly "stuck" here until the rain stops?

-Shampoo, still upset that Nadoka knocked her out and took the phone, responded.

-Water could be deadly, you want to die, fine by me, but I no go out in rain.

Nadoka perked up and smirked.

-Wait a damn minute, are you . . . cursed?

Shampoo froze. She knew her lie was terrible, but she thought her companion was at least stupid enough to buy it.

-Oh my GOD, what do ya turn into huh? A dog? A rat? C'mon, tell me or I throw your ass out into the storm!

-A CAT OKAY!

The girl looked away. She remembered that fateful and bloody morning.

The sun hadn't even risen yet and she heard their painful and terrified screams. She was in a daze when her Grandmother burst into her hut, screaming in a scratchy voice.

-SHAMPOO, WE HAVE TO GET OUT, NOW! THERE'S NO TIME, WE HAVE TO GO!

She snapped out of her dazed slumber and grabbed her Saber, ready to fight, but also to run. She had never seen her Grandmother so frightened before. She ran out of her hut, but not before looking back at it for the last time. She got out in time to see the carnage Girls in her village were fighting their own. Friends were fighting their friends, daughters, slicing their own mothers, it looked like an idea for a horrible nightmare.

Her grandmother grabbed her arm to get her attention.

-Shampoo, wake up, this isn't a dream, we need to leave!

Cologne then shivered for a moment.

-Something enormous is coming this way!

There was a large ruble nearby. Shampoo saw as Rin Rin and Ran Ran stabbed the eyes out of a 12 foot tall infected that got turned into a was as if time slowed. She saw the pair struggling to defeat the demon with only their sickles in hand. The blind demon roared in pain and grabbed the pair, throwing them with unimaginable force towards the ground, killing them instantly. The demon then flailed it arms and wings, blind with no direction to guide it.

She looked at her grandmother, who just looked away and started running. She swung her saber at anything that go near her, so she killed a few infected, and bloodied her saber. They made it to Jusenkyo, a once quiet and serene place, now unnerving and just terrifying.

They ran and ran, get closer to the exit before Shampoo tripped and fell. She looked back, it was the Jusenkyo guide that led martial artists through the grounds. But, what seemed normal was made horrifying by the fact that he had been ripped in half but was still conscious.

- e. e.

He then died of blood loss before her very eyes.

Mortified by the sight, Shampoo then started running again, now in a state of psychosis.

-This cannot be happening. *hah* *hah* *hah* This only nightmare, right? *hah* *hah* *hah* Then why? T?

She then lost her balance and fell into a hot spring before she knew it. Not realizing where she was, she ran on her now, four legs before she was hit with hot water, returning to her original form. It was her grandmother, who had saw her fall the second time. The two ran for miles longer before they stole a large boat and headed east.

Shampoo then snapped out of the memory, not realizing that she had vocalized her thoughts.

Nadoka looked at her with a sorrowful look.

-So that's why you were so hellbent on killing Ranma when you saw his female form... You just wanted to relieve the pain you felt and my son turned daughter seemed to be the best way.

By now, Nadoka had lost her anger and frustration, only to be replaced by sympathy.

The rain had ended and the two continued on until Nadoka spotted something she had a good feeling about.

It was a normal house but there was something about it that she had a good feeling about, and that was, the oversized American flag hanging from the rooftop. She hoped the stereotype about American having a lot of guns were true, or else they would have to keep searching for guns and ammunition.

But As she opened the door, she was severely disappointed. There were no guns, just a normal American looking home.

-DAMN!

She hit the wall, HARD, and then something magical happened.

A pair of guns fell from under the dining room table, a gun fell from under the cupboards and a few hidden storage containers opened to hold an American shotgun and assault rifle, with what looked like enough ammunition for each weapon to take out a small army.

The two dropped to their knees, they had barely seen starting pistols and flares, but nothing compared to the armory she found in here.

She called Soun excitedly and the conversation went like this:

-Hello Nadoka, is there anything to report right now?

-Bet your ass there is! Here let me send you a photo of the place!

Nadoka hung up, snapped a photo of the arsenal and sent it to Soun. The call resumed.

-Nadoka, tell if I'm wrong, but is all that shiny stuff guns and ammunition?

-YES SOUN YES! We found this place while searching east in a house with an American flag on it! We didn't know if we would find anything, but we hoped the stereotype would be true, if only for this once.

-Okay then, call your husband, he should be able to help you get all that to the house.

-How? There's so much here, that he wouldn't even be able to pick it all up and carry it, even if he were a panda.

-Oh, well when he called me to let me know of their progress, he let me know that he had found a working truck that could probably fit all of those items.

-Alright them Soun, see ya soon!

-Farewell Nadoka.

The call ends. The two start packing all of the weapons and ammunition. Shampoo was starting to sweat after a while because of the weight of all the ammunition.

-Why Americans need so much!? This much probably illegal.

-Who cares right now, this might just save our asses.

It was 7:30 P.M. When all the groups were home safely. Each telling the others of what they saw and what they did.

Akane and Ranma showed everyone their new weapons, the two also talking about the strange survivor they found in the street.

Ryoga and Genma told everyone about the truck and the military checkpoints.

Shampoo and Nadoka talked about Shampoo's curse and the American house with a vast arsenal.

After the gloominess of the lesser parts went by, the families and friends went to sleep, except for four people.

Akane and Ranma wanted to be there when the stranger awoke, Genma and Nadoka volunteered to be the watch people for the night and the two sat atop the roof, gazing at the emptiness of the cityscape around them.
