Starfire stood frozen in place. The very breath she drew had been ripped from her making her feel like she was suffocating. Never in a million years would she expect her sister, her own blood, go as far as to say she wanted to destroy her own home and family. Yet she just heard it with her own ears. She was having a hard time accepting it, like she wanted to say something in protest but her tongue was tied in knots within her gaping jaw.

"The look on your face is absolutely precious," Blackfire said dark as she turned and approached her sister entranced in a stupor, "now that I've held up my end of the bargain all my plans for Tamaran are finally within my grasp." She held up an outstretched hand infront of Starfire's face before closing it into a tight fist as if physically performing the metaphor she just recite.

Starfire was still dumbfounded, she had no idea what to say... let alone the capability of saying anything after seeing and hearing everything that just took place. Even her sister's fist didn't snap her out of it. It wasn't until a guard behind her shoved her with the shaft of his spear that she finally woke from her trance...

The push from behind wasn't even that forceful but it was as if Starfire's legs had turned to cement and she couldn't move them so she nearly collapsed falling right on her face. That feeling of falling in a dream that jolts you awake... that is what saved her from crashing to the floor and stirring her emotions, snapping her back to the reality that had just been dropped on her like a nuclear bomb as she was lead away to the location that she would be "displayed."

She looked back over her shoulder at her sibling with a rage, "YOU WILL NOT SUCCEED! MY FRIENDS WILL STOP YOU!" She screamed with all the force she had.

"Right..." Blackfire blew off her sister's threats in a mocking tone, "the very friends who couldn't protect you from a single human... thats who's going to stop my army." She smiled with a huge sense of confidence and arrogance as she watched what was felt of her family be escorted away in chains... again.

Starfire grit her teeth. She was beyond furious. She was ready to bring down an Armageddon like her dear friend Raven. If she were an interdemensional demon herself at this very moment... not even Trigon would be able to match her rage.

The two guards continued leading her away as two more then came from the opposite direction towards the leader of this planet. The took a knee in front of him and lifted their heads to speak clearly.

"My lord, Trogaal," one of them began, "we have a matter that requires your attention immediately, sir."

Trogaal looked down at his subjects to see they had genuine concern on their faces and decided he'd hear the issue immediately.

"What is it?" He said with a sense of annoyance.

"We've heard reports of a foreign spacecraft entering our atmosphere shortly after our guests arrived. Its suspected someone may have followed them here to retrieve the girl," they finished their report by lowering their eyes to break eye contact.

Trogaal raised an eyebrow before turning his gaze to his guests.

"I expect you will be dealing with these intruders you've brought to my doorstep?" He snarled with a raspy voice. He narrowed his eyes as if expressing his resentment for such a novice mistake.

Blackfire looked at Ravager and the same look of resentment that Trogaal was throwing at her, she now threw at Rose.

"Hey," Rose started with an irritated tone, "don't look at me like that," she said without a care in the world, "it was your plan in the first place." She shrugged her shoulders as if she harbored no blame at all.

Blackfire returned her gaze to the ruler of this foreign planet. With a sense of embarrassment she respond, "yes. We'll handle it." She growled half of her sentence at Ravager then steadily marched past her with the guards that brought the message to their leader.

Rose huffed as she blew a frustrated puff of hot air up towards bangs revealing both her eyes for a split second. She then followed closely behind Blackfire to help as she had been ordered to. She hated taking orders. It annoyed her to her core.

Starfire watched her two capturors walk away before turning a corner at the end of the long walkway. Her intense and angered stare was interrupted by the smell of a monsters breath with absolutely zero regard for oral hygiene.

"You must be wondering where you'll be staying, isn't that right?" The raspy and fowl voice said directly into her right ear from behind her, "I think you'll find it feels more like home than you think..."

A sinister tone echoed past his yellowed teeth with a grin so vile it would make children cry. This sent a chill down the Tamaranian's spine. For how resilient she can be... there were still things that could even scare her.

Blackfire and Ravager were escorted to the surveillance room where there were cameras being displayed on a multitude of screens and multiple humanoid lizard like beings observing all of them. Rose entered the room then quickly stepped to the side of the doors leaning against the wall with her arms crossed infront of her chest and a pout on her face like that of a scorned child. It was as if she couldn't be more annoyed.

But Blackfire walked right past the escorts as if they were just messengers and marched straight to the leader in the room standing above all the others with his hands clasped behind his back. He was clearly a solider of high rank supervising all the troops in his command.

"Where are they?" Blackfire wasted no time in trying to fix this mess.

"Don't you address me so casually, Troc," he snarled the insult at Blackfire, "you might have a truce with Lord Trogaal right now, but I owe you no allegiance."

Blackfire grit her teeth in anger as she grew more frustrated at that word her people had suffered for generations. She bit her tongue before she did something she would regret and managed a sentence through clenched teeth, "where are they, sir?"

"You filthy other worlder's are like pests," he huffed again enjoying the power he had over the would-be ruler, "one of you shows up and more follow. Before you know it the whole planet would be infested."

Blackfire scoffed and looked away from the screens as she continued to hold her tongue. Meanwhile Rose cracked a wide smile loving every second of this interaction. Seeing suffering of any kind no matter who was receiving it seemed to give her some sick pleasure. It could have been her best friend getting insulted and she would still enjoy it...

"Ah," the commander finally said, "there they are," he pointed at one screen in particular, "looks like they're headed for hangar 13. Thats where your ship docked wasn't it?"

The screen showed two young males dressed head to toe in black disappearing in and out of view of the cameras as they did their best to kept their presence hidden in the treeline next to the airfield. They looked like small insects afraid of the light and trying to stay hidden in the kitchen after someone had turned on the lights.

"Disgusting," the commander sneered, "you creatures should know your place."

"We'll take care of it," Blackfire said angrily as she turned and headed for the door Rose was casually leaning next to.

"Be sure to exterminate all the pests. If you don't... I will," he insulted further reffering to her. He turned his head and spoke over his shoulder towards the door.

With that Blackfire stormed out of the room with Rose following shortly behind her.

The boys continued their assault on foot using the shadows and cover of night to their advantage. With both of their uniforms so dark, it wouldn't be too hard for them to slip past guards in the darkness...

"There," Red X said softly trying to keep his voice down. He pointed to a hangar across a long cement runway infront of them, "the signal is coming from in there." he then put the tracking device away in his belt as they continued to hide in the brush of the thick jungle as much as possible. Once they got as close as they could using the trees as cover... they had no choice but to expose themselves to light in order to get inside.

"I'll go first," Nightwing said just as softly as X, "I'll signal to you if the coast is clear."

Red X nod his head in agreement and Nightwing looked everywhere. Left to right. Top to bottom. He saw nothing that would alert his presence to any enemies. With that, he made a mad dash for the hangar. His sprint was shockingly quick and quiet as if his teachings from the master were on full display.

He got to the hangar doors that were wide open revealing a massive empty room where flying objects should be. It shocked him no one was there... He started to get a bad feeling about this but the coast was clear so he looked back to the tree line and waved his hand back and forth.

In a flash, Red X appeared out of thin air next to Nightwing.

Nightwing's eyebrow began to twitch with rage, "you could have done that the whole time?!" Nightwing said as quietly as possible in the most angry tone he could muster.

"You said you wanted go first..." Red X said sarcastically.

Nightwing's face went red with anger and he was about to scold his partner while smacking him upside the head, but instead he let his frustration out in loud sigh. What did he expect? Thats exactly how X operates.

With his rage under control he peaked around the hangar doors once more to see the empty space again...

"Looks like your device is wrong," Nightwing said with a sense of hostility, "the ship that took Star isn't in here."

"That's impossible," Red X quickly respond as he peered over Nightwing's shoulder into the hangar.

To his surprise, his partner was right. The entire building was empty. He pulled put the device once again and looked at it closely. The red dot on the map was incredibly close not more than 100 yards away.

"It says it's in here," X said confidently, "maybe they have cloaking devices on their ships?" He stepped into the hangar after observing for a minute and seeing no signs of anyone.

Nightwing hesitated before swallowing the knot in his throat and followed in after X. This didn't feel right to him. There should be guards here... or at the very least... a ship of some kind. They continued walking towards where the tracker was indicating... The silent beeping of the device started to pick up speed so fast that it almost sounded like one long droning tone...

"It should be right here," Red X said confused. But as he looked around there was nothing in sight until they both heard a voice from a walkway above them...

"Looking for this?" It was Blackfire. She held in her hand an X with a red light blinking incredibly fast, "sorry boys, but you're damsel in distress isn't here..." She tossed the blinking X at the feet of the man with the mask bearing an identical X across it. She could only assume it belonged to him.

As the X hit the ground with a high pitched metal bounce, the hangar doors closed quickly behind them and the walkway above them started pouring out Gordanian soldiers in a "U" shape around them all bearing long spears pointed at them with an ominous glow like they could be used as ranged weapons.

"You'd have more fun with us anyways," Rose decided to join in the taunting.

Nightwing clentched his teeth and tightened his fists as he saw the woman that kidnapped his only love. It made his blood boil.

Blackfire looked down at Red X. This must be who Rose was talking about earlier...

All the same skills, all the same gadgets... but he is definitely NOT a hero.

Blackfire cracked a grin... She hadn't been excited to fight someone in a long time. Her eyes and fists began to glow purple as she levitate off the ground...

"I don't think we've met," Blackfire said to Red X in a flirtatious tone, "allow me to introduce myself..."

With no warning she let out a loud and aggressive warcry with a powerful starbolt launched straight for the X on his mask...
