*Sound*

(Thoughts)

The stars are so pretty on my home planet. They shine like jewels. It's amazing to see a pink star shoot across the night sky.

I listened to the water from the waterfall rush into the still water below. I finally felt some peace.

*Snap*

Damn it, I spoke too soon.

I stood up calmly and turned towards the sound. "Show yourself, or I will get violent," The sound of the bush rustling made my body tense.

I gasp feeling my stomach drop. My mind can't comprehend the person that is standing in front of me. My body was moving faster than my mind and I had gladly thrown myself into the open arms of my lover.

"Whis!"

I enjoyed the hug until I noticed Whis's soul tune hadn't changed. it still felt distanced.

I tried to rip myself from this imposter but he was really strong. "I finally get to meet you." I yanked back so I can see his face "Who are you?" I wanted to be hostile but seeing Whis's face makes it hard.

"I'm sorry if my appearance is causing you stress." That's not Whis voice. "My name is Adam, I am Daichi's father,"

"You're the devil?"

"Smart girl."

"What are you doing here?" (Why am I being nice? maybe it's because he's not being hostile)

"Well, I wanted to meet you and help you." I was finally able to pull myself from Adam.

"Help me how? maybe send your son to humiliate me more?"

"I am embarrassed about my son's behavior. I am truly sorry." I sigh and hugged myself. We sat in silence for a few minutes before he spoke again.

"Jasmine, how much do you know about your heritage?"

"I get bits and pieces but never the whole truth when I was on the roof. I could only think of the pain I was feeling,"

Adam stood next to me at the edge of the water. He pats the top of my head in a fatherly matter which felt weird but comforting.

"Jasmine, your origin story started a long time ago. your grandmother's mother was the first woman to take a position on the council of life. Her name was Cypress. none of the members knew about her until someone mention that their now-deceased member had a child. They eagerly invited her because they thought that Cypress was a male name.

to their shock and horror, a woman showed up. the amount of hate that was thrown her way was ridiculous. Years passed and the hate still grew but only because people outside of the council could see who was truly the perfect ruler. the men would take Cypress's ideas and give her no credit. It was getting too much for Cypress one day and she finally spoke up threatening that she would tell everyone the truth about the dirty deeds the other council members were doing.

The council of men decided that they would have her assassinated. Cypress was not afraid. she wrote everything she could about the council and had her newborn daughter, jasmine, sent off-planet along with her loyal maids who sobbed none stop." In the book, she wrote that the name Jasmine would be a powerful symbol of vengeance.

The next woman or man to set on the throne will take the name Jasmine if the previous ruler has been mistreated.

"Did my mother have a name?" Adam nods and kept talking.

"She was defiled and left for dead," It was hard to swallow hearing that. "News that the Loved Queen was dead spread like wildfire and everyone pointed their finger at the council.

Your grandma was out for blood and the council was scared. She was the youngest to sit on the throne when the council decided to try to exterminate her people. Your people were reduced to half but thanks to your grandmother's leadership. Your kind thrived and became popular scholars and feared warriors.

The old Omni king was in love with your grandmother but they knew they couldn't be together because others saw your kind as a threat and didn't want to see your kind on a higher throne.

When your mother was born, the old Omni king blessed your mother. Hellebore's beauty was talked about everywhere. people came up with legends and stories about your mother. The face that launched a thousand ships. She was the reason many families fell apart."

"My mother was a homewrecker?" I asked concerned. Adam chuckled. "She wasn't sleeping with these men; men were leaving their families to chase after her."

I sigh in relief.

"She did a good job on the throne, developed the city, brought in other cultures and some say, killed off the council without raising a finger. you see the last set of men whom your grandmother killed off in battle had sons and grandsons who were now sitting on the council. Helle managed to make two friends both men. An effeminate male named Peri from an animal hybrid tribe and Poldo an elemental user from a magic tribe. both men were elvish of some type. these two warn your mother of the plans the council was trying to come up with. By the next meeting, only those three remained.

Everything was peaceful until your grandmother finally passed. When she passed the Omni king was so sad the multiverse suffered."

Adam seems uncomfortable and gently pets my head again.

"I'm sorry my little star shine,"

I was confused, why apologize?

"My job and Eve's job is to just sit back and watch everything. I've watched her destroy for her own selfish needs and I am tired of seeing it. it's only fair that you know what she's done and why. To stop the Omni king's destruction Eve convinced your mother to lay with the Omni king."

I could feel the tears building in the corners of my eyes.

"Your mother had a powerful and beautiful baby. Eve erased your mother's memory and took you. She took advantage of the fact she erased your mother's memory and convinced your mother to have another powerful baby. This killed your mother and the Omni king finally died,"

"Why," I cried. "Why did she do this!?"

"She was scared of how much power you had shown while being a newborn."

I was sobbing.

"Do you have faith in your teaching Daichi?"

"Well, Eve, if you are asking if I believe in Coco's ability. Then yes." Daichi replied blandly to the blue skin Goddess.

Eve gasped and stop looking at her crystal ball. "You are upset with me?"

"Yes,"

"I am your mother. why are you upset with me?"

"Your treatment of Coco is horrible. My wife has told me how you have affected her pocket dimension."

"I have done no such thing!"

"Liar. you have been trying to mess with something fragile and important!"

the blue goddess huffed and almost snarled. "If the link breaks then it wasn't meant to be."

Daichi looked at his mother with disgust. "Do you hear yourself!" Eve flinched never being yelled at by her youngest.

"My son, one of your many grandchildren, is going through the worst pain because you are feeling a little pissy! My wife is trying to keep up with her duty and comfort our kids whose partners had to abruptly leave. But because you want to beat Coco into submission you are hurting three couples' soul link because you want Coco to keep fearing you. After all, you are scared of her."

"That's not true!" Eve yelled. "It's true and you know it! When my wife finally told me the truth about Coco's intelligence level it set off all red flags. You fear Coco would be a better ruler. when her intelligence is at 100 there is nothing that will stop her from fixing your wrongdoings. admit it. You are scared of that transfer of power because you're no longer dealing with a child you can manipulate.

Eve looked at her son stunned and kind of disgusted at her behavior. "I didn't think,"

"Exactly you didn't think! You never think about whom you are hurting! You just do what pleases you!"

"Daichi,"

Daichi took a deep breath and turned his back to his mother. "just drop it. I'm going back."

~Coco pov~

"Don't be sad my little star shine, I am here to help you."

"How?"

Adam wiped the tear off my cheek and looked back at the forest he came from. "You are in a bad mood my son."

Daichi stood unamused "What are you doing here?"

"Relax, I'm a fool that loves my grandchildren."

"Where is the other one?"

"Your brother is sedated right now. I didn't know he was planning anything but I should have figured it out." Daichi hummed then came closer. "You said you wanted to help?" Adam nods "I found out what Eve was doing and wanted to help the link that's fading away."

I choked on a gasp. "I knew I wasn't crazy. it seems like every few years we were slipping away from each other."

"Don't panic, I know how to fix this. I will work on the cure."

"Daichi, she needs a few weeks before she faces her final test. Let me teach her how to master ultra instinct. I've been watching and I know why she's failing to maintain ultra instinct."

Daichi looked at his father for a minute but then nods.

Adam nods back "Excellent,"

I guess I'm trusting the devil now?

Zamasu pov~

Whis was sleeping right now which isn't normal. His mother was the reason for that. she told me that if he gets too stressed he could snap the link he has with Coco. it's tragic and I'm starting to miss Coco as well. I sigh and finish cleaning, I was trying to help Whis by keeping the place clean.

"Finally done," I said to no one and sat on the sofa. my eyes caught sight of the flower floating in the case.

I gasped. theirs only a few petals left just earlier there was a big chunk of petals.

"Please Coco, come back home soon, it's kind of weird and sad not having you around."

"I miss her too Zamasu,"

"Whis! You should be sleeping."

"I can't sleep anymore. I need answers."

His hair was undone, he looked so drained. I watch him start to leave and followed him. "Wait! Where are you going?!"

Whis pov

All of my forced naps bring me crazy dreams. they feel too life like to just be silly dreams. The only good thing about these dreams is that I can feel Coco again. I don't feel crazy anymore. We aren't fading. Thank the Gods. I thought I was going to have to do something drastic.

Maybe...

I shook my head knocking that dark thought.

"Are you ok Whis?"

"I'm ok, I'll be even better once I get some answers." we arrived at my parent's home in the clouds and I could see my mother standing there. Zamasu was quick to bow.

"You kind of look like a madman." She said taking in my appearance. "Please come here," I walked over and she placed her hand on my forehead. "My stars! you're burning up!"

Ms. Bo gasped lightly. "My lady, do you think?"

"Yes, if she has hit her mature age then their bond is probably sending out a signal."

"Mom, what are you saying?"

"Sweetie, don't be alarmed, you're probably trying to have your first heat."

"What!"

"Have you been having more possessive thoughts? Maybe feral, darker thoughts?"

I looked away from my mother not wanting to talk about it. "I didn't come here for that!" I stutter out. "What did you come here for?" "I need answers about dreams, also I want to know where Coco is."

"So you are trying to go into heat. Also, your dreaming?"

I nod "But they are dreams of things I don't rem"

I saw my mother's eyes get big along with Bo's so I stopped talking. "Shhhh, you two come inside and we can talk about it."

Coco pov~

before sunrise, Adam made it back and brought me to the water. I was terrified to walk into the water with him but he reassured me and let me hold on to him while we walked deeper into the lake. when we got deep enough, he told me to float on my back.

"I don't think that's possible. I can't relax enough to do that,"

"I am right here, I won't let go of you,"

I sigh and gave it a try. his hands didn't leave my back so I relaxed.

"Good job, now close your eyes and just listen to the water and follow my instructions. Inhale,"

I breathe in

"Now exhale"

I breathe out

"Now inhale deeply,"

I breathed in deeply, Then felt my body drop fast like a rock. the lake I was in now felt like the ocean. I began to struggle until I opened my eyes.

"Look ladies she recognizes me. Hi my little flower petal"

(This lady, she's.)

"My lady, your daughter will be celebrated across the land." an older maid praised.

"Queen Jasmine, she has your eyes." Another maid said from nowhere.

"Oh, my look at those little stars, I wonder if she gets hearts in her eyes also?" A younger maid squealed. My eyes roamed around but stopped at the bassinet and the maid pushing it to the door. A wail burst out of my baby body bringing the joyous mood down.

"I know my sweet little petal I'm sad that Helios is leaving as well,"

(I have a brother!?)

"Remember my little dew drop. That's not your brother, he's your other half just like you're his other half. You two are something so amazing you just couldn't stay in one body. Hopefully, you will both be strong enough one day to complete each other."

My mother's pretty eyes are filled with tears. "I can't wait for the day I see you two whole and complete."

I closed my eyes and was floating in the middle of the water again.

My tears were floating upward like they were filled with oxygen.

What did she do to Helios when he left the room? Why was Helios being pushed out of the room?

My eyes felt like they were burning so I closed them again.

I opened my eyes at the feeling of rain on my face.

(it's not rain, it's the grand priest crying.) "I don't know why you decided to cry, but I hope you can bring my wife some happiness." Daichi knocked on the bedroom door and walked in. The grand priestess was laying in bed staring at the ceiling unmoving.

"Honey?"

She slowly looked over. She was going to turn her back to him but the sound of a cooing baby made her sit up.

"Is that a baby?"

Daichi nods and comes to her side of the bed and passes her the baby. Honey didn't hesitate to move the blanket off the baby's face.

Honey gasped looking at the baby. "Is this?"

"It is. I figured out the riddle she gave you."

"She looks so healthy."

"She had her under a sleep spell. In her bedroom in a bassinet in the escape passage in her walk-in closet."

"We were so close last time."

Daichi nods. "Well, this time when I tried to find a hollow space by knocking, she started to cry."

"Aw, you wanted to be found." Honey coos at me and I just look at her and try to suck on my hand. "I'll get her a bottle," Daichi said quietly and left the room.

Hey Arum lily, you came at a perfect time. Maybe you can help me fix my broken heart and I can help you? You lost your mother and I lost my babies. All except one."

I could feel my eyes get heavy and before I could close my eyes fully, I heard her cry again.

I woke up and felt my tears flow up again. A few minutes of complete silence pass before I felt something tugging on my wrist. I looked and realized it was a red ribbon on my wrist and it led to the dark unknown parts. I tugged on the ribbon and was yanked into the dark water.

I'm running?

I opened my eyes and saw my child self being pulled down the moonlit hallway.

"What going on?" I stuttered out trying to keep up with my short legs. "Shhh, we have to stay quiet or my mom could find us," we finally stop at a big door and I was able to identify the person pulling me.

"Whis!"

"Shhh,"

child-size Whis pulled me into the dark room. "Mom showed you her jewelry closet, so I'm showing you my grandma's," the lights pop on and I gasped at the pretty gem sitting on a pillow under a glass case pedestal. "It's so pretty."

"One day, I'm going to give it to you," Child Whis stuttered.

"Why give it to me?"

"Because my mom said, when you like someone a lot, you give them a pretty gem,"

"What did your father say?"

"He gave my mom a shiny pebble. He also told me to follow my instincts so giving you a shiny gem feels right,"

(Bird behavior?)

We looked at each other before child Whis placed a wet kiss on my cheek. My child self-placed my hands over my eyes and squeezed my eyes shut. I was fading away again back underwater.

I felt a smile on my lips as memories of my childhood came rushing back. All the training, long nights studying, All the time Honey took to groom me for the throne. They were all good memories no matter how much something hurt me. These are my memories I'm glad to have them back.

Everything was going well until an angry memory hit me hard. I felt myself fading into the memory.

If I could gasp I would of. I was sitting on a throne looking for planets that need to be destroyed. The floating space system in front of me was hypnotic I almost miss the maid coming in.

The maid bowed and stayed low. "My highness, your presence is needed at the ball soon." I waved my hand and the planets I selected blew up. I stood and looked at the maid. "Please stand Ms. Bo, you and the grand priestess have raised me. I hold you both dear to my heart."

She stood and she escorted me to my room where Eve was standing in the middle of the room. I walked over to the changing screen ignoring the woman I've come to abhor. the maids silently swarmed me getting me undressed.

"And a good evening to you too," She huffed sarcastically.

"How can I help you today Eve?" I asked in a monotone voice.

"I need to talk to you about your baby brother,"

"I can pencil you in at ten thirty,"

"In the morning!?" She yelled scaring the maids. "You spoiled bitch, I see you've been raised wrong. When I said we need to talk I meant right now damn it!" the maids gasped and quickly scurried away when I waved them off. I stepped from behind the changing screen with a silk bathrobe on.

"Don't you dare insult the woman that raised me,"

"Why are you telling your brother to not trust me!?"

"Because you're not to be trusted,"

"What!" I yawn at her outburst and she was livid. "I should wring your damn neck!" I was unamused by her threat and looked at myself in the floor-length mirror.

"I'm beautiful, young, smart, and powerful. Everything you're threatened by," I could see her jaw drop in the mirror. "What are you trying to say?" I sigh and turned away from the mirror and look at her. The Kais have been telling on you. you've been asking them if they think I am a good fit for the throne. Careful Eve your hate for me is showing, people are going to catch on."

"I am not scared of you! I have nothing to fear!"

"You can stop lying, the results came in yesterday. Everyone voted and agreed. your position is obsolete. As long as I sit on the throne you're no longer needed. You and Adam can retire. it would be good for your health."

If anyone thinks I'm being mean to her.

I am.

She's been trying to break Whis and me apart since we announced our engagement.

"That's it!" She yelled storming towards me. I felt a wicked smirk grace my lips and surprised her by moving out of the way with ease. The look of pure fear on her face was like a drug to me.

"When!" she screamed backing away from me.

"When what?" I asked innocently. "Who taught you ultra-instincts!"

"Oh, that little trick? I can't tell you, but do know I obtained this power with blood, sweat, and tears." I looked away from her and looked at myself in the mirror again. I look damn good in silver. "Any true God should be able to tap into it and master it." I stop looking at myself and turned my head to look at her. I playfully gasped "Oops! I guess you can't call yourself a real God." I said in a smug tone.

I gave her a closed-eye smile hoping she would admit defeat and leave. The impact of her punch to my forehead was enough to knock me out.

I finally opened my eyes once more and instead of floating in the ocean, I was where I started. "What a pathetic way to lose." I huffed out softly.

"You're back and it only took two weeks, that's good. Now I will warn you. You have two options. You can confront Eve, or play stupid."

I pulled myself up and we walked back to land. "I crave revenge, I wish nothing more than to destroy Eve." Adam raised an eyebrow.

"But I know that woman wouldn't hesitate to deliver a low blow. As long as she has her influence over my brother and her fingers dug deep into the Royal families, I'm kind of backed into the corner."

Adam chuckled. "Trust me, you'll have royalties wrapped around your fingers."

I looked at him confused. "What makes you so sure?" He chuckled again but didn't answer. "Are you up to some nighttime training dear?"

I nod and with a snap of his finger, I was in a new set of training gear. It was a little risky, but very comfortable. Nights on my planet are warm and during the summer it can get hot.

It's been 4 weeks, and I am now in top shape. "This is as far as I can take you, my dear." I nod and brought my ki down so I'm not seen as a threat. "I'm going to work in silence. She will never see me coming." Adam chuckled. I will gladly watch your performance for lower hell." I watch Adam slip away and turn towards the person coming my way.

"You look ready for the apple." I gave a confident smile and looked at the pretty waterfall.

"Father?"

"Yes?"

"So, your memories were messed with also?"

"Yes, it wasn't until Honey many tears made me remember. I felt like a bad partner just listening to my mother and not noticing my partner's mental health."

I hugged myself. "I have a plan, but we have to play nice until the plan is finished." Daichi hummed understanding and looked at me with his eyebrow raised.

"Are you ready to redo your story?"

"That's part of the plan, I won't look at this as a redo. I will just doom myself to repeat my actions." I chuckled.

"It's a new dawn, it's a new day, It's a new life for me." I turn to him and felt my magic bloom across the ground growing Jasmine flowers everywhere.

"And I'm feeling good." The sun finally peeked over the waterfalls giving the ground we stood on a healthy glow.

"It's good to have you back," Daichi smiled. I nod, and he begins to walk away. "Let's go and get this over with."
