Katsumi what are you doing? Will this get you what you want? Katsumi thought,

No but it is fun.

Katsumi closes the distance between herself and Miroku in a flash. She slams him against the walls of the cage, holding the dagger to his throat. "Hey! He's not the one who tried to kill you, just let him go," InuYasha yells to her.

"Please… what do I get out of letting him go?" Katsumi spits back in response.

" Yoichi's haori!" Sango blurts out , successfully getting Katsumi's attention. "What?." Katsumi's response. "Yoichi's haori, if we bring it to you will you let him go?" Sango asks eagerly.

Katsumi's eyes move from Sango to Miroku with a mischievous smile. "Well… that is tempting…fine," Katsumi says as she removes the dagger from his throat. "Hey little puppy, go fetch, would you," Katsumi says with a large grin now, pointing the dagger at InuYasha. He growls at her in response then takes off to get the haori. When he gets to the little shrine there is still a small group of villagers in front. He swiftly makes his way up to the altar and snatches the haori. "Hey drop that!", an old woman yells. "Sorry it's kinda important!" he yells as he runs back.

When he makes it back he finds Katsumi waiting passionately and Miroku by the door with Daisuke's body in his arms. He hands over the haori to Katsumi who snatches it out of his hands.

She holds the haori to her face taking in the smell of the fabric. One of the monks unlocks the door and Miroku quickly makes his way out now that Katsumi is distracted, now on her knees looking heart broken. "Yoichi," She whispers. She takes the smell of the haori once more then looks up to stare down Yoshito. "Yoshito, you will pay for taking my Yoichi from me. The last thing you'll see is me with your still beating heart in my hand!" She roars, with her face full of rage.

She quickly recomposes herself and puts the haori on and smiles at Yoshito, making him shiver.

"WE..WE NEED TO GO!" He announces to the crowd. Obetanily everyone files out, Yoshito tries to join the crowd.

Is he really trying to run away? InuYasha though, as he stayed in front of the cage with his arms crossed waiting for the crowd to move forward.

"Yoshito!" Katsumi yells. "Yoshito, where are you going?! Hide if you want. I'll cut down everyone in my way!" she screams as she grabs the bars causing sparks to fly.

"You won't lay a hand on anyone!" InuYasha says, as he turns and growls at her.

Katsumi's attention moves to InuYasha. She smiles, " Little puppy, you should really mind your own business."

"You made it my business. Try hurting anyone here and you'll be the one cut down." InuYasha says moving closer to the cage. Katsumi lets out a small laugh in response. "Half of them are disgusted by your very existence. You're an abomination to them. I can't tell if the fact that you want to protect them is funny, or just sad,"

"You talk a lot of shit for someone locked- " Inuyasha starts but is cut off by Katsumi grabbing him by the throat and pulling up against the bars. Sparks fly once more, as InuYasha tries to pull away, his hands firmly gripping the bars. Katsumi digs her nails into his neck trying to pull him in.
"InuYasha!" Kogome calls out. He hears Kagome approach.
"Stay back!" InuYasha yells.

He's hand meets one of the scrolls on the bars, burning his skin. He finds the edge of the scroll and peels it from the cage and slams it against Katsumi's wrist. She screams out in pain as the scroll burns her skin. She releases InuYasha and they both fall to their knees.

Kagome runs to his side, "Are you alright?" she says as she brushes hair away from his neck to examine it. Sango and Miroku come up to have a look as well.

"I'm fine," InuYasha reassures them.

Katsumi breaks out into laughter as she holds her wrist. "Well… at least you'll be entertaining," she purrs as she glares at InuYasha, making his blood run cold.
