"Incinerate!" Genos' right hand radiated extraordinary heat and blasted a clear line of hot flame toward the monster in the sky.
However, instead of showing a hint of worry, Mosquito girl dove forward at incredible speed and circled around the skin-melting attack to land a piercing strike on the cyborg with her sharp foreheaded horn.
Geno's beam incinerated the roof of the building it made contact with but failed to hit its initial contact forcing him to quickly adapt to close-quartered combat.
"Hah, such easy prey. Should I take your legs next?" Mosquito girl gloated as she returned to the sky with a metal arm pinned to her horn. Yet, there was an odd lightweight feeling on her lower half, and when Mosquito girl glanced down to where her legs should be, she'd found that they were no longer a part of her.
Mosquito girl glared at the one-armed Genos, who tossed the monster's severed limbs to the ground and met her eyes with a fierce scowl.
Panic etching into her being, Mosquito girl buzzed back and ordered her loyal insects to cover her retreat.
Genos huffed and ignited his second arm. "It's no use, you cannot escape me."
He launched a consecutive onslaught of scorching beams, but the mosquito masses proved to be a sufficient deterrent and burned alive in explosive agony.
"Who is that?" Mosquito girl snarled. "If this keeps up, he'll kill me!"
"Repel!" Shouted a voice that foretold a mass of metal aimed at Mosquito girl.
The monster ducked and flapped her wings in annoyance. The humans she'd planned to feed off of weren't running away anymore and were now running after her with determined expressions. Were those humans insane? Mosquito girl thought. To witness her dismembering of the stupid cyborg and to still have the courage to challenge her, what a riot!

"Kid!" Killer called but his captain was more than motivated to squash that blood-sucking monstrosity.
"You heard what that cyborg said, didn't you, Killer?" Kid smirked and amassed more metal from nearby buildings and cars. "This is an easy fix! All we gotta do is crunch that bug till there's nothing left of her, then we can go back to building our new base!"
Killer felt as if his captain had lost a few of his senses, but then again... that's one of the reasons Killer had decided to follow him out of the South Blue. Thus, with his role as vice-captain tested, Killer ran to the nearest structure and started to climb it at impressive speeds.
Massacre Soldier wasn't like the Magnetic Flame in that he could send out long-ranged attacks, so in order to do the deed, Killer needed to be upfront and personal about it.
"Oh, look at you boys, so eager for death?" Mosquito girl chuckled as she swatted Killer down with a backhand much more powerful than he expected.
"Killer!" Kid grimaced as his comrade barrelled into a junk pile.
"Aw, don't worry, you won't have to mourn after your friend if I kill you first!" Mosquito girl cackled and swiped for Kid's head with her razor-sharp claws.
"Clang!" Kid's metal defense was barely enough to keep the monster's attack at bay, but he'd gathered enough scraps for a suitable counterattack.
"W-What?" Mosquito girl flinched as both her arms were clasped in metal bars and bolts.
"You're a fast critter, so I figured I'd nail you down before I caved in your ugly face!" Kid smirked and forced Mosquito girl to the ground. Unfortunately, the pirate had overlooked the horn atop the monster's head, which whipped upward and struck him across the cheek leaving a deep, bloody cut.
"Let go of me, you filthy human!" Mosquito girl lashed out, freed one of her claws, and struck Kid's shoulder.
"Who're you calling filthy you bloody parasite?!" Kid hollered, then repelled Mosquito girl into an overturned truck.
Forced to a knee from his injuries, Kid hated to admit it, but he hadn't completely healed from this morning's wounds. He glanced to Killer, who'd come around, but the vice-captain was definitely woozy when he staggered to his feet.
"Damn it all!" Mosquito girl pouted. "If those pesky humans keep interfering, that cyborg is bound to finish me sooner or later."
A ferocious buzzing took over the sky in the form of a blackened mass of hunger, all genetically modified mosquitos within a fifty-kilometer radius were summoned to pour their gathered essence into their master.
"Yes, come to me!" Mosquito girl cheered. "Pour into me the juice that you've stored up!"
"Holy crap, what kind of power does that horrid bug have?" Kid frowned at the storm that was to come and hurried over to Killer to lend him a hand. He wouldn't dare lose his best friend, not after all they'd been through and accomplished until now.
"Kid, we have to get out of here, whatever that monster is doing in the sky, it's not anywhere near the realm of humanity..." Killer coughed as his captain served as his crutch.
"Don't worry about that bug, I'll deal with it as soon as you can move on your own." Kid said confidently.
However, according to Genos' analytical scanners, the threat at hand was much more than a mere blood-sucking parasite.

"If these mosquitoes controlled by this monster gathered blood from the whole town or even a broader area, then it's common sense to assume that blood is more than mere food for that creature." Genos surmised and narrowed his eyes at the swarming mass of insects.
"There are still more gathering, thus the sooner I finish this the better-"
"Wait you damn bug, we aren't finished yet!" A bald man yelled as he rounded the corner and entered the street. The man was in hot pursuit of a rogue mosquito, attempting to drown the parasite with a can of pesticide.
"Whoa, what's that cloud?" Said the man as his eyes widened at the revelation that the black cloud in the sky was made of mosquitoes.
"You there..." Genos said sternly to the man, "the swarm has a will of its own, if it notices you it will suck you dry without remorse."
"...Seriously?" Replied the man in worry. "You should get outta here too if it's not safe... wait, who're those guys?"
The man raised a hand to two rock-themed men who staggered over toward them and grunted.
"Are you guys planning on killing that huge nuisance up there?" Said the one with the red hair. He had a hill's worth of metal scraps behind him, for some odd reason.
Before any verbal reply could be made, the swarm of insects divebombed the group, and in his hurry; Genos slammed his palms on the road and activated his thermal incinerators. The radius of the blast roasted all the bugs and left charred marks on the buildings behind him.
"Oh no!" Genos broke into a sweat, though he could not achieve this because he was a cyborg, "I registered that the surrounding area wasn't inhabited within a five-hundred meter radius, so there was no need to hold back... but my carelessness blinded me to those within the first three feet of me."
"Whoa, what was that? You got rid of all the bugs too, what a bug zapper!" The bald man praised, though he hadn't noticed he'd been reduced to no more than bare skin.
"Oi, you bloody asshole!" Yelled the man with fiery hair as his metal wall was reduced to nothing more than a hot puddle of slag. "You almost toasted my buddy and me!"
"At least the bugs are gone." The masked man coughed out.
"Teeheehee!~" Mosquito girl cackled and flew down to the street below at a breakneck pace. "You foolish simpletons, I had no more use for those insignificant pests! Because, as of now..."
Before Genos could mount a defense, his midriff had been sliced open by a pair of claws like a sharp scythe through dry grass.
"Look how strong I've become!" Mosquito girl laughed as Genos whirled around for a haymaker. The monster blitzed passed this punch and twirled around to Genos' back leaving deep claw marks from his forearms to his skull.
"I'll make sure to take care of you first since you're the strongest threat," Mosquito girl licked her lips and went on the offensive.
"Ahahaha! That punch wouldn't kill a mosquito!"
"Hahaha! So fragile!"
"Next time I'll take your head!~"
Dismantled from ankle to scalp, Genos could no longer properly function and his heated arsenal was no longer accessible. With deep regret, Genos admitted that he'd underestimated his opponent and was now ready to pay the price. His core, the energy source of his being, engaged in a self-sacrificing function; gleamed a hot white and was about to erupt with Mosquito girl closing in...
If not for the sharp fly-swatting slap of the naked man who sent mosquito girl through five lampposts, three cars, and a multi-storied building before she became no more than a twinkle in the sky.
"Damn, stupid mosquitoes!" The bald man said with a smile and wiped the blood and dust off his hands.
The naked stranger was about to leave, but Genos called to him while he lay on his stomach.
"Wait! I am a lone cyborg fighting for justice, my name is Genos! Tell me your name!"
"Huh?" The bald man turned around and tilted his head. "I'm Saitama."
"Take me as your disciple!" Screamed Genos.
"Oh... Okay... wait, what?" Saitama said, completely dumbfounded by the entire interaction then noticed the red-haired man and his masked companion.
"So uh... who're you guys?"
"...Kid." The Magnetic flame grumbled.
"...Killer." The Massacre Soldier answered.
An air of silence looming over the group, they nodded to each other... and decided to have tea at Saitama's place after a subtle offer.
