"Give it a rest, Emily, those two C-rank heroes are already old news." Said Billy, a boy with bushy brown hair with a green Hoodie, and jeans.
"Yeah, didn't you hear that Amai Mask is holding a concert to support the citizens who were affected by the recent monster destruction!" Squealed Miranda, a girl with short peachy hair who wore blue shorts and a white long-sleeved shirt.
"Amai Mask is really cool, but it was the Magnetic Flame and Massacre Soldier who saved me! I can't just brush them aside once the news stops talking about them!"
"I don't know, they look cool, but didn't they trash a fast food restaurant this morning?" Billy shrugged, then flinched back when Emily shot him an angry glare.
"That's right, and when an interviewer tried to get a scoop from them, the Magnetic Flame told them to piss off! That's not very hero-like." Miranda said with crossed arms.
"I like them..." Emily felt slighted as her friends continued to ramble about how cool the A-class and higher heroes were, but there was something special about humble beginnings wasn't there?
"Well, I've gotta head out and bring bag the groceries my mom wanted. I'll catch you guys later." Billy said with a wave and crossed the street to the bus stop down the road.
"I have to go too," Miranda sighed, "I promised to help my mom with the laundry today and she'll kill me if I don't show up."
Left to her lonesome, Emily drew a long breath and headed toward her favorite park. The recreational space didn't have any playgrounds or pools, but there was a baseball field that was often occupied by older groups with a few seniors watching them while they played.
"Hah... what am I going to do today?" Emily grumbled and plopped herself down on an empty bench. Her parents worked in the hero association and took their jobs very seriously, which Emily found to be amazing of course, but it did mean that she didn't see them very often despite being within a walking distance.
She pulled out her phone to see anything interesting like a hero attack, but when she saw an ugly monster on the screen, she shivered and set her phone down. She was still riled by what happened yesterday, as she was nearly crushed by that terrifying purple monster, but it was also because of that encounter that she met her two favorite heroes!
"I wonder when I'll see them again..." Emily wondered as she strolled aimlessly on the park paths. She landed on a bench without care and hummed a soft tune to herself until she realized the bench was currently occupied. His eyes were hidden behind the pages of a hero guidebook, the bald spot on his black bob cut was visible as was his white T-shirt with the letters B and G imprinted on it.
"Oh, I'm sorry..." Emily said awkwardly and rubbed her neck. "Is that the new hero guide? I think they updated the recent rankings in it too..."
"Y-Yeah, they did..." Replied the boy and lowered his book to present a pair of fish lips and kind round eyes. He was a tad chubby about the face and could be described as ugly. Though Emily couldn't care less about these traits and hoped she could make a new friend that shared her adoration for true heroes.
"My name is Emily by the way, what's yours?"
"T-Tareo," the boy said meekly, "it's nice to meet you..."

"Punk Gibson!" Kid yelled as he came down with a giant fist of metal that struck Armored Gorilla head-on and sent the monster straight into the wall.
Seemingly down for the count, once the metal scraps around him fell, Armored Gorilla slumped, but this was a ruse and the beast was back on his feet in a heartbeat. It slammed its giant fist against the pirate captain's head and sent him in a messy spiral across the pavement.
"Kid!" Killer yelled and jumped into the fray. He blocked an incoming swing of the gorilla's arm, but was sent soaring as a result and skidded across the street. To think such an advanced technological beast could exist, this world Killer inhabited was truly exceptional.
"Damn bastard..." Kid grunted and wiped the dust from his face. He raised an arm as the gorilla made another broad swing, and directed it toward the ground with his devil fruit powers. The pull was unexpected, as Genos also found his person affected and face-planted.
"A magnetic disturbance?" Genos hopped off the ground and scanned the area. The sensors in his mechanical eyes locked on Kid, he used the propulsion from his leg rockets to boost him out of range so he could bombard his enemy from a safe range.
"You two are naive to assume such a primitive attack would have any effect on me." Armored Gorilla growled at Kid and Genos.
"Your manipulation of metal and fire is impressive, but at the end of the day, all you are is a magnet. The professor will put your genes to proper use after he's altered your DNA and implanted it in a worthy vessel." Armored Gorilla spoke in a robot-themed voice.
"What the hell are you going on about?" Kid furrowed his brows at the idea of having his mind put in another body. The robot had a few screws loose that was for sure.
"The only vessel I'll ever need is the one I have right now, so you can tell this professor of yours that I'm not interested!" Kid hollered and activated his magnetic powers. The metal scraps took shape again, and Armored Gorilla did lean forward at the attractive pull, but the duel was interrupted by another cyborg with blonde hair.
"Oi, what the hell are you doing you bastard!" Kid shouted at Genos who blasted a beam of fire at their armored foe.
"I'm sorry," Genos said calmly, "but there are things that I need to ask of this unregistered cyborg. That, and his underlings decided to tear down master's roof."
"Listen, this gorilla picked a fight with me, so I don't want you butting your nose where it doesn't belong!"
"It seems I will have to take drastic measures. Fortunately, there is still the house of evolution's second strongest, the beast king, to deal with the professor's initial target." Armored Gorilla huffed and lunged forward at Genos and Kid.
"Argh, why is everyone around here so damn strong?" Killer shook his head and sat himself up. There were a few light bruises on his back and arms, but those weren't worth complaining about.
He could see Kid and Genos arguing while they tussle with the enemy cyborg, but before Killer could rejoin the fight, he was grabbed by the ankles and forced into the ground.
"What the?!" Killer tried to move but he was set in concrete and hardened soil.
"Haha! That's a sample of Ground Dragon! I hope you're comfortable because this is the last view you have before you're put to rest!" Laughed a large rodent-looking creature with brown fur and long claws.
"Oh, he did the same to you too?" Said a familiar voice.
"Saitama?" Killer blinked at his bald acquaintance who was submerged a few feet from him.
"I kinda feel like a plant," the bald man mumbled, then yawned lazily.
"Hahaha!" Chortled a powerful voice. "He can't move his arms or legs, good job Ground Dragon!"
Killer snapped his head upward to see a giant lion who stood in the likeness of a man. Its pulsing muscles were gigantic, and every step the monster took made heavy clomps that echoed across the street.
"...Oi, what's with the face you jerk?" The lion monster snarled at Saitama's lackluster reaction and felt a vein bulge on its forehead when the bald man yawned again.
"It's cool yet warm down here. I just wanna stay put, so lemme be would ya?" Saitama hummed as Killer could only watch the scene unfold in shocked silence.
"Gahaha! I don't think you understand your situation! I am the beast king, and I will pierce both your eyes with my claws so you can't resist!"
Beast King lowered himself to a pouncing stance while pointing two sharp claws in front of Saitama's face.
"...Alright, enough games. Now's the time if you want to apologize." Saitama said and effortlessly lifted himself out of the ground.
"Aw man, I got dirt where the sun doesn't shine..."
Beast King could only feel rage at his victim's ignorance.
"Very well then!" Beast King howled. "I'll show you my true power!"
With a flexed claw, the beast king swung down his raised arm and the sheer force of its movement created a wind slash that chopped through the building behind Saitama like a knife through hot butter.
Yet, the bald man showed no expression and went about dodging his opponent's attacks with lackluster enthusiasm. The beast king continued its assault, but with one step forward and one hand raised, Saitama dealt out the usual consecutive punches that obliterated the slashing monster.
"...What." Killer was rendered speechless and his eyes were wide beneath his mask. He could barely comprehend what had transpired and was only knowledgeable of the end result. That Saitama was absurdly strong.

"Answer my questions or face destruction." Genos aimed at Armored Gorrilla's head as its robotics limbs were severed thus forcing the beast to slump against the wall.
"I'd rather just crush his head in," Kid scoffed and flexed his fingers, "he picked a fight with us so he's gotta face the consequences."
Killer nodded as he sheathed his punisher blades after he and Saitama got the dirt out of their respective pants. A look of murder plastered on the pirate faces, Armored Gorilla dropped the act as the bald man approached with Beast King's eyeball dangling from the tips of his fingers and revealed the reasons as to why the professor wanted to study Saitama and Kid and managed to do it all in twenty words exact.
"Tsk, guess we gotta give this arrogant professor a piece of our minds, eh?" Kid grinned.
"We need to do it now then," Saitama sighed, "I can't afford to do it tomorrow because the weekend sales are right around the corner. Come on, Genos, let's go."
Two pirates, a cyborg, and a Baldy joined with the sole mission to gain back their easy lives, the master of the house of evolution had not the mind to comprehend the events that would soon unfold...
