A/N: Hello everyone.
I'm back *wink*
So, we're at the part where Inumaki goes home. I can't find any other information on Inumaki's manor, clan people, clan character and any other associated characters with the name Inumaki on them. So, Haruka and Saya would have to do.
Not much fluff as of yet due to introducing the family members. But it'll be soon.
Soon.
Enjoy~

80. I'm Home
Basically, they got a very warm welcome.
The grand door opened to reveal a neat line of servants in yukata, giving the little party from Tokyo college a respectful bow.
"Welcome home, Young Master," they chimed together.
Itadori was mighty impressed, and he just couldn't keep his mouth closed just by how bizarre all these is. He had never been inside a real old manor before, but this is…wao.
Beyond wao.
It's so thrilling to be here, surrounded by so many servants it made him felt so honoured to be here.
Honoured indeed. Not everybody can be invited to the Inumaki clan's manor like this. Itadori recalled the Kyoto batch – they were watching with such green eyes when they boarded the transport Gojo-sensei had arranged for them. It was like they wanted to come along too.
Sukuna, on the other hand…
"Stop gawking like a country bumpkin, boy," the cursed spirit had said, materializing a mouth and a pair of eyes on Itadori's cheek. Itadori casually smacked Sukuna off his face with a slap and continue gaping at the rich manor with a mini waterfall and a pond with a small bridge on top and a gazebo with an array of potted plants and bonsais.
And they looked plenty old and expensive.
This is an otherworldly place he has stepped into, and he fully immerse himself into admiring every inch and corner of this place.
And for Maguro?
Well, Maguro was starstruck by how gorgeous Toge's parents are, and had eyes for no one else apart from the pair waiting to greet them all near the entrance to the manor.
Toge's earlier description of how he looked like his father's younger self was spot on. His father is definitely the adult version of how Inumaki Toge would grow into. And his mother is wao.
Very wao. Simply dazzling.
No wonder Toge-kun is so pretty, Maguro thought quietly to herself. Mrs. Inumaki is so gorgeous.
Her dark locks shines under the light of the sun, and her painted red lips appears so alluring against her pale skin that she looks as if she just jumped out of a painting into real life. Toge obviously inherited her eyes and ears despite looking like a younger version of his father. The best of both sides then.
Everyone from Tokyo Metropolitan College slowly walks into Toge's house entrance, led by Gojo Satoru in – as usual – all his pomp and glory of being the most handsome and powerful bachelor in all of Japan's sorcerer circle.
And rich.
And smart.
And just then, Inumaki Haruka, Toge's father, frowned.
At Gojo Satoru.
Not that they aren't friends, but there are times Inumaki Haruka couldn't stand Gojo's haughty pride and arrogance in his good looks.
And would smack him back to Earth.
"Too much confidence ruins a person's personality, Satoru," Haruka said, shaking his head at the sight of the happy looking teacher at his son's school. "And don't skip. It's so unsightly. You're 28."
Gojo chuckled. It's been a while since he last saw Inumaki Haruka. "You're never going to stop preaching me every time we meet, are you?"
"I'm merely correcting your ways so as to help end your bachelor years earlier," Haruka replied ruthlessly, turning to look at his beautiful wife, the current Lady Inumaki, Saya. She smiled back at her husband happily. "Surely you've met someone you like after all these years."
"I don't have to. When the time comes, those old people in my family will get nervous at one point and arrange one for me," Gojo grinned, appearing nonchalant in his current being bachelor. "But I'll have you know that I am still very much popular amongst the opposite gender."
"Yes, very," Haruka nodded his head solemnly with a frown, agreeing with the strongest sorcerer in Japan. Everyone behind Gojo listened with rapture on what would come next. It's not very often they hear conversations between Gojo and a close associate like this in a group. "And each time we bumped into you at random restaurants when you're on a date, the ladies that are with you are always different-"
Mrs. Inumaki pinches Haruka's sides, causing the man to snap quiet instantly and swallowed nervously. He had forgotten that they're here with a big party of students coming back with their son for the short-term holidays.
"It's alright, Saya," Gojo Satoru laughed at Haruka's expression, knowing that he had, again, suffered from Saya's crab-claw pinch, already able to imagine the colour of the blooming bruise on his sides. "We all know he tends to forget the world whenever he's with me."
Maki and Panda gasped in high scandal, with both of Panda's paws on his snout.
Maguro sensed there was something that she didn't catch and looked at Maki and Panda for insight by hiding her head behind Inumaki's back and shaking her head at them, frowning with a look of pure curiosity. She knew there's something, but she didn't quite catch it. So, what was it?!
Megumi was standing next to Maki and saw Maguro making weird expressions at both Panda and Maki. There seems to be a lot of activities going on with her eyebrows, going up and down rapidly like how one would do when they're talking animatedly. Was she trying to understand what the adults are talking about?
They do realize they're also indirectly digging at Toge's father's – their host for the holidays – gossips?
Itadori being Itadori, blinked, not realizing anything amiss.
"Gojo sensei loves to joke with my father," Toge's words came flooding into Maguro's mind. He tried to hid his smile, but it was becoming too much when he heard the hushed whispers behind his back and Maguro jostling him around by hiding behind his back. He loves her touches on him, and he finds them so endearing right now when she's holding onto his arm on one side and leaning behind him to whisper to Maki and Panda. "It's just a joke, don't take it too seriously."
"Okay," Maguro immediately replied Toge, leaning back upright to stand next to him. He is the person she trusts the most in the world. She believes him. "Okay, Toge-kun," she smiled at him, glowing brightly under the light of the warm sun.
Her hair is one of the features he loves most on Maguro. Appearing dark in indoors, but when she's outdoors and under the light of the sun, the reddish undertone comes into light, and in certain angles, the few strands of gold in her hair would glow through the reddish undertone. She had opted to keep them in a loose French braid behind her, and the strands of hair framing her face made her looks so sweet and lovely he just wants to wrap her up in his arms and kiss her-
"I think they're all tired after the Sister's Event at Tokyo recently," Gojo Satoru's voice cuts through the scenes manifesting in Toge's mind, bringing him back instantly to the real world. "The holiday term came just at the right time for them to come back with Toge for a break."
He turned to see his parents looking at him and at Maguro curiously. Surely, Gojo-sensei must have tattle it off to his parents about the event, because he could even see his mother giving a few little head nods to Maguro with a smile.
As if approving of her already.
But of course, he thought to himself quietly. His Maguro is the most adorable of all cuteness. How could anyone not like her?
Everyone except Nishimiya Momo.
Yes. That one is an exception. There's nothing to talk about that one.
He felt Maguro's gaze on him. No matter the situation, he could always sense her gaze on him. He couldn't help but to return her gaze, and she looked up at him expectantly.
With her eyebrows twitching up and down excitedly.
He wanted to laugh at her. She's so cute when she's doing that, and he couldn't help but to feel that infectious happy vibe radiating from her. She nodded her head at him encouragingly and gave his parents a sideway glance. Then look back at him.
Oh.
Oh. That. Yes.
Almost forgot.
He held up his hand to her, and watches as she slides her hand daintily into his. He gave her hand a squeeze, silently assuring her that everything will be fine.
She nodded her head encouragingly at him with a smile. Everything will be fine as long as she's with him.
Letting go of Maguro's hand, he goes up to his parents and gave them both a deep bow and straighten his back upright.
"Father, Mother," Toge said, his voice clear and loud in the now quiet air, leaving only the cicadas buzzing in the summer heat. His parents froze, staring at him unblinkingly like an owl. He grinned happily at them and uttered the one phrase that he never thought he will ever say out loud to his parents without Maguro.
Smiling, he takes a deep breath and said, "I'm home."
