"Mavis!" Melissa stood in the doorway of James's bedroom, where Mavis was admiring James's beautifully polished broomstick.

The rest of the bedroom was a mess, but the broom was placed in a box, polished as well, carved J.S. Potter at the top. The broomstick was his pride.

"Just a sec, Mel!" She said, "Look at the broom, it's amazing!"

"Mavis, please!"

"Okay!" She was reluctant to go but she turned to go with her sister. It seemed important. "What is it?" She asked.

"I have to ask you something!" Melissa's eyes filled with tears. Dreading what she was thinking might be true, maybe her sister didn't like it that she was magic, maybe she hates me.'

"What happened, Mel?" Mavis was panic stricken. "Why are you crying?, Come on, Tell me!"

She revealed all her worries to her sister. Asking her, how she felt.

"Oh, Melissa!" Mavis hugged her sister, "I love you, No matter what! And if I am not magic, I am glad that one of us is!"

"I'm so glad, you feel that way!" Melissa wiped off her tears, "You can come visit me, all the time!"

"I know, and I will, I promise!" She hugged her again, "I'm sorry that you felt that way, you know you could have just told me right away," She looked at her shy sister. "You know what we say about feelings, don't bottle em up!"

"Are we good?" Melissa asked again, for confirmation.

"Of course, we are, you idiot!" She slapped her sister's head affectionately. "Come on, Let's go!"

It was September, 1st. Melissa was packed and had a loaded trunk. She said goodbye to Aunt Petunia, who was sick, she wasn't going to see her off. She also went off to the Privet Drive, to say goodbye to Vernon Dursley.

"Grandpa, I am leaving for..."

"DON'T SAY IT!" He shrieked at her, and slammed the door in her face.

She walked back home, tears streaming down her face, she did love him. And sometime ago, she was the favorite granddaughter. She couldn't beleive how much magic had changed their lives, in good ways who wanted it good. And bad ways who hated magic.

"I won't let him wreck my year!" She thought to herself. "It is going to be...what's the word? Ah! A magical year!" She laughed at the thought of saying the M-Word in front of her grandfather.

"Come on, Daddy! We will be late!" Mavis hollered from the drivewa. "Or we will miss Uncle Harry!"

"Uncle Harry or James?" Melissa snickered.

"Shut up!"

Melissa grinned and got back into the car. It was going to be an amazing year. She dismissed Grandpa Vernon from her mind, and returned back to Hogwarts, A history.
