"Daddy made Uncle Harry's life miserable for being different?" Melissa asked.

The Weasley-Granger-Potter clan looked from one to the other.

"Uh..."

"Umm!"

"I wan..."

"Tell me!" She persisted.

"He did," Fred started speaking, ignoring all the pleas in Lily's eyes. "Uncle Harry used to live in a cupboard!"

"WHAT!?"

"Can't you shut up?" James jabbed in elbow in Fred's chest. "It was twenty years ago, if dad can put it behind him, why can't we?"

"Fine," He whispered back.

"That is why Grandpa hates me." She said, "Because I am like Uncle Harry."

"Your grandpa doesn't hate you." Lily tried to make it right, "He's just confused."

"Of course he hates me, he locked your dad in a cupboard!" She was crying. "How can you defend him? How could Daddy do that! Uncle Harry is so nice..."

James and Lily shot Fred an annoyed look.

"I'm sorry," He mumbled, "How was I supposed to know that she didn't know!?"

Melissa was upset for rest of the train ride, she didn't even look at the chocolate frogs, James got for her. She forgot to read more from Hogwarts, A History. But her mind was diverted from the thought, when she heard a gruff voice,

"First years, Follow Me." A very tall man, with a shaggy beard stood at the train station.

"Who is this?" She whispered to Lily.

"This is Hagrid, Keeper of the Grounds at Hogwarts from a looooonnnnngggg time."

"And why aren't we going like the rest?" She asked again.

"Hogwarts traditions." Lily said simply.

Melissa felt scared a little, but after a few minutes she enjoyed the boat ride immensely she completely forgot about what she was sad about.

The First years stood outside the Great Hall, when Melissa looked at an old, wrinkled woman, stern. There wasn't a wrinkle on her robes or hat. She cleared her throat and said.

"I am your Headmistress, Professor McGonagall. You will be summoned in for your sorting in a few minutes." Then she disappeared through the door. Melissa got a glimpse of the Great Hall for just a second.

She saw thousands of candles and four long tables. With colorful flags all around. She stood in the awe of the room. It looked inviting and beautiful. Till she was shaken by Lily, and pushed through the queue. She spotted James, Fred, Hugo, Rose on the table with the red and golden flag. She couldn't see Albus there.

"I will call out each of you, and place this hat on your head." Professor McGonagall said, after the sorting hat sung his song, "And you will sorted into Houses. Now be ready!"

"Anderson, Mary." A girl came forward, and sat on the stool.

"Hufflepuff!" The hat shouted.

"Cooper, Gary."

"Ravenclaw!"

"Dudley, Melissa." McGonagall eyed the girl sternly. She knew who this was.
