When The Tables Are Turned On The Dursleys:
Chapter Twenty Two:
Author's note:
"How did Lily get into the Triwizard Tournament?" Melissa asked worriedly. "I am so worried about her!"
"I know!" Albus also looked worried, "Should we go in there?"
Fred disagreed,
"James is there, plus McGonagall is going to fix it!"
"Should you write to Uncle Harry?" Mavis asked.
"We will," Albus said reassuringly, "But wait for McGonagall to see to it! She'll probably ask her to step down."
"I don't know how she got in, and we couldn't!" Fred grumbled.
Albus nudged him,
"Can we focus here?"
"No!"
"I can't do anything about it!"
"She is just a kid!"
"Her dad did this!"
"He was older than her!"
"She is my eleven year old sister!"
there was a yelling match in the room.
"They can't compete!" Andre from the Beauxbatons spoke, "It's cheating, and you are doing it again. like the last time it happened!"
"He's right!" Max Karkowitch spoke in a gruffy and angry voice. "Just play fair for once already!"
"Wood, do something about it!" McGonagall spoke firmly. "Get the 11 year old out of the tournament!"
"I can't!" He was frantically looking through his book. "It's the rules!"
"To hell with the rules!"
"MR. POTTER, LANGUAGE!"
This time it wasn't just James, it was Albus. He had gotten worried, since none of them hadn't come out after many unbearable minutes. Both the brothers shouted together.
After several minutes of shouts, and McGonagall gave into the fact that Hogwarts was going to have two champions once more, and the Potter Fmaily was getting wrapped up in it again. She had announce to the people, that Lily Potter had to compete in the Triwizard Tournament.
"Ms. Potter has to participate in the Triwizard Tournament as the second champion for Hogwarts."
She announced to everyone, as the Hogwarts students cheered. and the Beauxbatons and Drumstrang students looked angry, and started conversing amongst each other.
"But who could have possibly let her name in?" Melissa asked. "She is smart enough, she wouldn't have done it herself. She knew you two couldn't do it, and I don't know how this is happening!"
"I think I am going to dispatch a letter to Uncle Harry!" He stood up, as James nodded to him. "Coming?"
James and Albus were standing behind Lily, with the other champions.
"I'll come with you!" Melissa and Mavis joined him.
As they moved towards the doors, as Melissa glanced at the Potters, she smiled. It was fascinating how amazing the brother-sister bond was. One minute they were fighting like cats and dogs, next minute they were at someone's throat protecting the other. Now here they were, both the brothers standing behind their sister, promising to help in the tournament.
"So this is the Owlery, Mel always talks about!" Mavis walked into the Owlery, as many owls fluttered around.
Fred whistled loudly. And a beautiful snowy and black owl came down. Fred took the letter, and put two knuts in the small pouch,it hooted and it flied.
"Well, see what happens...I am positive that one of us will be receiving a howler from Aunt Ginny." He sighed.
And he was right, they received a few howlers the very next morning.
