When The Tables Are Turned On The Dursleys:

Chapter Twenty Four:

Author's note:

"Can you just lay it off, Mavey?" Melissa told her, "Lily's worried."

She stared at Lily's empty bed. She was worried herself.

"I can't believe you would say that, Mav!" She told him.

"I'm sorry..." Mavis mumbled. "I'm sorry."

Mavis looked embarrassed. And she was. She felt sorry at what she had said. She wasn't like that, she didn't know why she said that.

"Good!" Melissa picked up clothes, and stood in front, "Now, don't say that again, not in front of Lil!"

"I won't," She mumbled.

"Now...come on!" Melissa was excited, and a little scared. "McGonagall will probably announce something exciting at breakfast today!"

Mavis forgot everything, and quickly scrambled out of bed. She was excited.

"James? James?" Lily was shaking her brother, as she stood beside his bed. Girls were allowed to come in the boys dormitory, unlike the boys.

"Huh?" He rubbed his eyes, groggily. "What?"

"God, this place stinks!"

"You came here to tell me this?" He yawned.

"No..." She sighed. "I'm scared. I'm so scared...Jamie, I'm so scared,"

"Oh...!" He sat up. "I'm up."

She smiled.

"I'm up..." He was now rummaging through his stuff. He took out his stuff and said,

"Since I stink...like you said!" He told her. "I'll take a shower, and I'll take care of everything in five minutes!"

She tapped her foot.

"Fine!" He said indignantly. "Fifteen minutes!"

"Good!" She held her nose, "And you should take a shower after practice, I do too!"

"I can't be you, Lil!" He retaliated.

"Just..." She said, "Just get in there!"

"I'm going, I going!" He said, "Nagger!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

She scrambled towards the stairs. As she heard other boys waking up.

"I'll see you, in the hall, then!" She shouted. "And...use the freaking soap!"

"Mom would say...LANGUAGE, LIL!" He shouted back, grinning.

"I said freaking...!"

James grinned, as the other boys stared at him angrily. It was six am.

Melissa couldn't find Lily. She got worried, and started to look around everywhere.

She found her in the grounds, as her broom stick was missing. She saw both her and James, flying side by side.

Both of them were talking. She looked at them from the corner, and smiled at them. She loved the bond between them. Always busting on each other, but always having each other's back. She knew Lily was scared because of the Triwizard Tournament.

She had joined them at breakfast, and McGonagall had to make some announcement.

"All the Champions are supposed to have their wands tested." She said shortly. "And a possible interview, or a photograph will be taken."

Unlike Dumbledore, she always kept her speeches soft and quick.

"All of the champions should be in the chamber on second floor after the third period!"

She sat down again, as the bell rang.
