When The Tables Are Turned On The Dursleys:

Chapter Twenty Six:

Author's note:

Lily sighed. She had her wand tested. People asked her several questions but she was distant. She wasn't listening. She couldn't. Marie Skeeter was eying her as if she was fresh meat.

Andre from Beauxbatons was throwing her angry looks, Max Karkowitch was ignoring everybody, and Mason Cooper was worried about the competition.

"All of you can go!" McGonagall barked at them.

Lily was the first one to get out of the room. She ran down stairs, and quickly went off to dispatch an owl to her parents so that they would be aware of what would be coming in to the Daily Prophet the next day.

"Dear Mom and Dad!

The Skeeter Woman has just come, and gotten a crazy interview...I'm just giving you a heads up that I never said anything whatever's coming in the column tomorrow.

I'm good, so is Albus and James. Hope you are good too! See you thanksgiving."

Then she took another parchment, she needed help. And she knew the only person who could help her in this situation was her brilliant aunt. Hermione.

"Dear Aunt Hermione,

I am sorry that I haven't written since the semester started, I was so busy. But I kinda need your help, Aunt Hermione. I am in a sticky situation as you know, but I am being run over here, because of Marie Skeeter. I know you handled her mother back in your day at Hogwarts. Can you throw some light to avoid her, or just deal with her.

Thank you in advance, See you at the Thanksgiving Dinner!"

She dispatched both the letters to two brown scrawny owls. And went back downstairs, when she bumped into Mavis, who was leaving the following night.

"Hey!"

"Oh...Lily!" Mavis looked a little angry, but Lily dismissed the thought. "Hi!"

"Are you going?"

"School's starting!" Mavis looked at her bag/

"Well, I'll see you at dinner!" She told her.

Mavis stared at Lily, who was walking up the stairs towards the dormitory, and her bobbing red hair was kind of making Mavis angry and jealous. Mavis was angry how close her sister and Lily were getting. She couldn't help feeling jealous.

Mavis had to return back home. And she was promised another return at Christmas, so she and sister could return back home.

Lily sat next to James, and Fred, Melissa and other friends.

"Hey, Freddie?"

"Don't call me that!" Fred slightly slapped her head.

"Why not!?"

Lily grinned.

"What?" Fred asked.

"Let's do something!" She was tired of everything.

"Like what?" Melissa asked, as she put her fork down.

"Filch pranks?" Lily's eyes flashed.

James looked a little uncertain, he had a plan with Alice.

"Come on, James!" Melissa teased him. "It'll be my first prank!"

"Okay! I'm in!"

Melissa was so excited for the prank, that she forgot that Mavis was leaving tonight. Mavis stared at her, moving away after a second wiping off his tears.
