Melissa dropped the paper and looked horrified.
"I am going to teach you a lesson." Lily clenched her wrist. "I will teach you a lesson not even your grandkids will forget."
"Lily…." James looked at her as she stood up to leave. "Wait…"
Lily had her thinking face and only James and Albus knew how dangerous that could be.
"Don't do something stupid….."
But, Lily wasn't listening to her brothers. She walked out of the Great Hall, fuming with anger. How dare that woman treat her like this?
"Oh, hey, Lily." One of the second years' stopped her, "McGonagall wanted me to tell you that she wants to see you after breakfast."
"Thanks." She nodded, putting the Skeeter matter aside in her mind and walked to McGonagall's office.
"Hello, Professor." Lily walked in.
"Ah, Ms. Potter." McGonagall smiled pleasantly, but her eyes didn't cooperate with her mouth.
"Is this about the third task?" Lily asked.
"Yes…" McGonagall hesitated. "It is….And, you can't tell anyone that I told you, okay?"
Lily nodded.
"The Third Task is about a duel."
"A DUEL?" She jumped.
"Yes...A safe one, though." McGonagall told her.
"A duel?" Lily gagged, "I don't know...A duel with a seventh year Karkowitch? Are you freaking serious?"
She shouted, standing up,
"Are you crazy?" She looked McGonagall in the eye. "Me Versus Karkowitch?"
She looked horrified.
"Are you kidding me?"
"I understand, Lily..." The headmistress was calm, "It will be safe, I promise...That you will not come to any harm, Lily. You just have to get through it."
Lily looked at her. She nodded,
"You Promise...?"
"It is a promise, Ms. Potter."
"Any tips for me?" She asked.
"I would say consult with your cousin Rose Granger Weasley!" McGonagall smiled.
"Thank you." She nodded,
"My Pleasure," McGonagall told her, "And I would suggest keeping this bit of information to yourself because I was not supposed to tell you!"
"Okay..."
Lily left the room, deep in thought.
"Ms. Potter?" Someone came in front of her. "Marie Skeeter is doing an exclusive interview for the last remaining champions, and you are needed now!"
Her fist clenched,
"Marie Skeeter?!" She murmured. "I am going to get you, Skeeter."
She looked at the girl.
"I am going to destroy you."
She shook her head, she had forgotten about the Third Task, her mind was focused on Marie Skeeter.
She had something Marie didn't. Technology.
Lily Potter walked towards the Great Hall. She had her phone in her pocket Melissa had gotten for her, she had learned had to use it. Still, she didn't know a lot of things but she had come a long way.
"Lil?" Albus stopped her, "Where are you going?"
"Huh?" She stopped, "What?"
She was in a daze.
"Where are you going?" He repeated.
"I have been..." She shook her head, "I just...I have to go to the Great Hall for some kind of Reporter Story."
She told him,
"Okay...But, I thought we all could go to Hogsmeade!" He told her.
"How?" She asked. "We can't go...Cuz, Not third years, Albus!"
She murmured.
"James found the passage?" He reminded her, "Last week, remember?"
"Oh...Yeah, okay, okay!" She nodded. "How about later tonight?"
"I'll tell Hugo!" He told her. "Good luck with fighting the crazy woman!"
"I don't need good luck." Her fist clenched, "I know exactly what I am going to do!"
"I am the Slytherin in the family." Albus was amazed by his sister sometimes. "And how are you the freaking diabolical mastermind?"
He looked at her,
"Evil...If I may add?" His eyebrows raised.
"Uncle George!" She clicked. "His shop takes your mind to crazy places, brother...!"
