Woah... Two chapters in two days? Never before seen by me lol. This one is a bit shorter cause it's a minisode but whatever.

wearedeadpool: Since 2023 is literally 2,023 AD, wouldn't 200,100 AD be 200100, considering if they haven't changed the way the years are calculated. Which they probably did, but idk. You'd know more than me. I don't understand Doctor Who lmaooo. And I really do wish 9 could have gotten more seasons, but Christopher Eccleston was completely right in leaving tbh.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit!" Zachariah appeared in the room with a sharp crack, holding a very medieval looking staff. The screen went black, and the noise finally died down. The Doctors and River stood to help him out, and the humans shifted uncomfortably in their seats, realizing they'd been left alone with the Master, who was looking very bored.

10 stood by the wizard, putting on his glasses and inspecting the screen, though he couldn't see what Zachariah was most likely seeing. "What's going on?"

He shrugged and raised his staff, a soft blue glow emanating from it as he tapped it to the screen. River scowled as the same message as before appeared, this time with less static. "Damn. Okay, so I didn't want to play these ones because they're pretty short and not very important."

"So don't play them." 9 responded, looking at the staff curiously. It wasn't some sort of machine, but it did look like it channelled whatever it was that Zachariah was doing. Often times it seemed he could teleport to them without it, but for the big things, like bringing them to this room, he had the staff with him.

"Magic isn't an exact science." He tapped the screen again, and the message disappeared for a moment, before returning again. "Unfortunately I can't exactly control what it plays, other than it being from your show. And technically the minisodes are part of it... and if I hadn't used so much of my magic bringing you all here and making this room, then I'd be able to stop it, but... I guess you'll have to deal with it."

11 shook his head. He refused to believe it was actually magic-there's a scientific explanation for everything. Then again, Zachariah did come from a different universe, take them all out of their timelines, pause their universe, and create this room in a what, pocket dimension? So maybe in his dimension it is technically magic, but really it's just a scientific law. "Well, it couldn't hurt, right? I mean, you're already invading our privacy by showing us this, may as well do it a bit more."

Zachariah snorted in amusement at the lighthearted response and nodded. "Good point. Alright, back to your seats." he looked at River, who was giving him an unimpressed look and he smiled weakly, not wanting to admit she intimidated, despite being more powerful than her. "Please."

With a sigh, she nodded and the four of them went back to their seats, while the wizard disappeared with another crack. Finally, the message disappeared and the video began to play.

[TARDIS]

(The new Doctor dashes to the console and flicks a few switches, checking the monitor.)
DOCTOR: 6 PM... Tuesday...
(Rose watches, half concealed by a pillar. The Doctor turns a knob.)
DOCTOR: October... 5006... On the way to Barcelona!
(Straightens up and faces Rose, grinning as if extremely pleased with himself.)
DOCTOR: Now then... what do I look like?
(Gives her no chance to reply before holding up a hand to silence her)
DOCTOR: No, no no, no no no no no no no. No. Don't tell me.

10 flushed red and looked away from the screen. "Bloody hell... now I can understand why you were so freaked out, Rose."

She chuckled and shook her head. Seeing things from the outside that haven't happened to her yet was so much easier than actually living them. "Yeah, well... I guess i can understand, now."

"Thanks." He smiled to himself. He was finally able to to talk to her without prompting. Progress.

(Rose looks completely bemused.)
DOCTOR: Let's see... two legs, two arms, two hands...
(Tests his wrist, circling it.)
DOCTOR: Slight weakness in the dorsal tubercle.

"What in the world is that?" Donna asked, feeling stupid for not really knowing. He had felt his wrist, but had some weird biological words that didn't make sense. Amy breathed a soft sigh of relief, glad that someone else had asked.

Martha sat up and turned to the redhead, happy to explain it. "It's the ridge between the grooves for extensor carpi radialis brevis and extensor pollicis longus muscle." She winced, seeing her blank expression. "the carpi radialis brevis is a muscle found in the posterior forearm." She indicated where it's located on her own arm. "The pollicis longus is in the antierior compartment of the forearm." She indicates the area again. "And the dorsal tubercle is the ridge between those muscle, located at the end of the radius." She grabs her wrist much like the Doctor had on screen. "So it's basically just a part of the wrist."

"So, he could of just said he's got a weak wrist?" She huffs and crosses her arms, leaning back in her seat.

"Well, I guess. But that's not really what it is. To shorten it down, it helps with the movement of your thumb."

"Okay, I guess." Donna shrugs, glad that she at least got a few answers to her question.

(Hands fly to his head.)
DOCTOR: Hair! I'm not bald!
(Rose now looks shocked. The Doctor runs his hands through his hair gleefully.)
DOCTOR: Oh, Oh! Big hair!
(Feels his sideburns, looks and sounds delighted.)
DOCTOR: Sideburns, I've got sideburns! Or really bad skin. Little bit thinner...
(Slaps his stomach.)
DOCTOR: That's weird. Give me time, I'll get used to it.

9 sighs and looks down. he logically knew that wasn't a jab at him, it was still weird. It looked like his clothes were hanging of his future regeneration. Jack leaned into the Doctor with a grin. "In my opinion, you look much better like this."

He smiled softly, and nodded, feeling at least a little better. he didn't know why he was feeling like this in the first place. Maybe it was just so jarring to see his future self examine his new body.

(With the air of someone making a most wonderful discovery.)
DOCTOR: I... have got... a mole. I can feel it.

"Absolutely nobody needed to know that." Donna deadpanned, and 10 grinned sheepishly.

"Sorry. I just regenerated and I was all different. It's an incredibly jarring experience, even after having done it so many times."

"Whatever, spaceman. you just want an excuse to be gross." She responded in a joking tone, and the Doctor just shook his head amusedly.

(Rose is breathing heavily. She looks scared. The Doctor seems not to notice.)
DOCTOR: Between my shoulder blades, there's a mole.
(Rotates his shoulders.)
DOCTOR: That's all right. Love the mole.
(Grins at Rose.)
DOCTOR: Go on then, tell me.
(Stands straight up before Rose, ready for assessment. His hair is all ruffled)
DOCTOR: What do you think?
ROSE (quietly, timidly): Who are you?
DOCTOR (crestfallen, slightly surprised): I'm the Doctor.
ROSE (shakes her head, not believing him): No... Where is he? Where's the Doctor? (voice rising.) What have you done to him?

Rose winced, feeling a bit embarrassed by how she reacted. "Sorry about that. I guess future me is just-"

"Confused. And scared. And rightfully so. It's not fair to you that I just changed with barely an explanation." 11 cut her off, smiling at her happily. He'd had plenty of time to think it over, and he realized that it was partially hi fault Rose was so confused. She knew he was the Doctor, but he was still a new man.

"Well, I guess..." Rose stated, unconvinced, but feeling a bit more reassured about her future actions.

DOCTOR: You saw me, I, I changed... (indicates over his shoulder, the spot where he regenerated) ... right in front of you.
ROSE: I saw him sort of explode, and then you replaced him, like a... a teleport or a transmat or a body swap or something.
(The Doctor does not interject. He seems lost for words. Rose takes a few steps towards him. At arms length, she pushes him in the chest.)
ROSE: You're not fooling me.
(The Doctor rocks back on his heels as though he cannot believe what he is hearing.)
ROSE: I've seen all sorts of things. Nano genes... Gelth... (looks darkly at him.) Slitheen...
(The Doctor raises his eyebrows.)
ROSE: Oh, my God, are you a Slitheen?
DOCTOR (calmly): I'm not a Slitheen.
ROSE (voice rising to a shout): Send him back. I'm warning you; send the Doctor back right now!
DOCTOR (pleadingly): Rose, it's me.
(He leans forward in his urgency to make her believe him.)
DOCTOR: Honestly, it's me.
(Rose stares at him, her chest rising and falling very fast.)
DOCTOR: I was dying. To save my own life I changed my body. Every single cell, but... it's still me.
ROSE (whispers): You can't be.
(The Doctor takes a few steps closer to her, looking straight down into her eyes.)
DOCTOR: Then how could I remember this? Very first word I ever said to you. Trapped in that cellar. Surrounded by shop window dummies... oh...
(Looks away for a moment, reminiscing. Then he looks back into her eyes.)
DOCTOR: ..such a long time ago. I took your hand...
(To emphasise this point, he takes her hand... just like he did when Rose first asked who he was. Rose glances briefly down at their joint hands and then back up at his face.)
DOCTOR: I said one word... just one word, I said... "Run".
(He gazes at her. Rose looks into his eyes, her own full of tears.)
ROSE (whispers): Doctor.
(The Doctor grins.)
DOCTOR (gently): Hello.

Amy grinned at the screen. "Awwww... That's just adorable."

Rose and 10 blushed a bright red, though neither denied it.

(Rose sighs in an almost exasperated fashion and stumbles backwards as the impact of what has just happened hits her. The Doctor takes off around the other side of the console.)
DOCTOR: And we never stopped, did we? All across the universe. Running, running, running...
(Flicks a few switches on the console.)
DOCTOR: One time we had to hop. Do you remember? Hopping for our lives.
(He hops madly up and down on the spot. Rose has her back against the pillar and is just watching him.)
DOCTOR: Yeah? All that hopping? Remember hopping for your life? Yeah?! Hop? With the...
(The wild enthusiasm ebbs from his voice at Rose's lack of reaction. His hopping subsides.)
DOCTOR: No?
ROSE: Can you change back?
DOCTOR: Do you want me to?
ROSE: Yeah.
DOCTOR: Oh.
ROSE: Can you?
DOCTOR: No.
(He seems rather disappointed. He glances briefly down at the floor.)

Rory winces. That must have been painful for the Doctor to hear. He heard the Master scoff, and realized that that must have solidified the Time Lord's beliefs about humans. Or at least put more fuel to the fire. He wondered if the Doctor would ever be able to convince him otherwise.

DOCTOR: Do you want to leave?
ROSE (shocked): Do you want me to leave?
DOCTOR (quickly): No! But... your choice... if you want to go home...
(Rose still looks upset. He goes to the console again.)
DOCTOR: Cancel Barcelona. Change to... London... the Powell Estate... ah... let's say the 24th of December. (looks at her) Consider it a Christmas present.
(Rose is edging slowly closer the console.)
DOCTOR: There.
(He steps back, his arms tucked under his armpits in an almost defensive manner. Rose looks at him, then back at the console. The TARDIS shudders as it changes direction.)
ROSE: I'm going home?
DOCTOR: Up to you. Back to your mum... it's all waiting. Fish and chips, sausage and mash, beans on toast... no, Christmas! Turkey! Although... having met your mother... nut loaf would be more appropriate.
(Rose looks down quickly, to hide a smile.)
DOCTOR: Was that a smile?
ROSE: No.
DOCTOR (knowingly): That was a smile...
ROSE: No it wasn't.
DOCTOR (teasingly): You smiled...
ROSE: No I didn't.
DOCTOR: Oh, come on, all I did was change, I didn't...
(He suddenly gags as the TARDIS shudders. Rose looks at him questioningly.)

The Master rolled his eyes and looked at the Doctor with a smirk. "Regeneration gone wrong? I almost feel bad, but... well, that's never happened to me, before. it's amusing, actually."

"Oh, shut up. It's not my fault! something always goes wrong in some way." 11 crossed his arms over his chest defensively, and if the humans hand't known any better, they would think this was just two friends getting into a petty argument.

"Story of your life."

"No!" The Doctor huffed, pouting slightly at his childhood best friend. "I had a normal life before I decided to travel."

His expression darkens, and he gives 11 a sharp glare. "Yeah, before you left me."

He sighs and shakes his head, resigned to the fact that this is going to be a repeating argument. "I'm not talking about this with you right now. It has been centuries. this petty anger or obsession ot whatever it is you have for me is getting childish. We can settle this another time. Alright?"

"Whatever." The Master mumbled and sank into his seat.

ROSE: What?
DOCTOR: I said I didn't...
(The same thing happens again, more violently. He makes nasty retching noises.)
DOCTOR: Uh oh.
(Rose edges cautiously around the console.)
ROSE: Er... are you alright?
(A piece of golden time vortex issues from the Doctor's mouth.)
ROSE : What's that?
DOCTOR: Oh... the change is going a bit wrong and all.
(He gags again. He falls to his knees, his face contorted.)
ROSE: Look... maybe we should go back. Let's go and find Captain Jack, he'd know what to do.
DOCTOR (impatiently): Gah, he's busy! He's got plenty to do rebuilding the Earth!

Jack swallowed and looked down. Was that really his justification? Then again, he had explained. And someone did need to rebuild the Earth, and God knows the Doctor couldn't sit still long enough to do it himself.

(A lever on the console suddenly catches his eye.)
DOCTOR: I haven't used this one in years.
(He flicks it. The TARDIS shudders violently and they are both nearly knocked to their feet.)
ROSE: What're you doing?!
DOCTOR (crazily): Putting on a bit of speed! That's it!

"It's like you're high..." Mickey muttered to Rose and she couldn't help her laugh.

"That's hilarious!" She exclaimed once she was able to get a hold of herself. "High because of his own energy. Wonder if that happens to all Time Lords." She looks over to the Master, then shook her head. She may as well not dwell on it. She didn't particularly want to ask the Doctor about it, in case it was personal. And she definitely did not want to talk to the Master-he'd shown his distaste for humans pretty quickly.

"Now that's a thought." He chuckled and leaned back in his seat. He didn't want to admit it, but he was really starting to warm up to this whole... thing.

(He turns more knobs while Rose tries to maintain a more secure grip on the console.)
DOCTOR: My beautiful ship! Come on, faster! That's a girl!
(Rose looks distinctly alarmed. The Doctor looks and sounds violent, crazed.)
DOCTOR: Faster! Wanna to break the time limit?!
ROSE (angry and scared): Stop it!
DOCTOR (slightly nastily and still crazed): Ah, don't be so dull... let's have a bit of fun! Let's rip through that vortex!

The Master's eyes widened. A regeneration gone wrong was one thing... and it's happened to plenty of Time Lords before, but this was more. There had to be something else wrong with the Doctor than just his regeneration. Maybe his brain... the insane alien shuddered. To have something be wrong with a Time Lord's brain was not a good thing to think of, even for someone like himself.

(Catches her eye for a moment. His voice calms for a moment.)
DOCTOR: The regeneration's going wrong. I can't stop myself. (grimaces in pain.) Ah, my head...
(He violently springs up into standing position again, and his voice has gone back to being crazed.)
DOCTOR: Faster! Let's open those engines!
(A bell rings.)
ROSE: (looking around, frightened): What's that?
(The Doctor's face appears next to her.)
DOCTOR (sounding delighted): We're gonna crash land!
(He laughs manically.)
ROSE (shouting over the sound of the bell): Well then, do something!
DOCTOR (voice rising hysterically): Too late! Out of control! (Runs around the console, giggling.) Oh, I love it! Hot dawg!

River wouldn't tell the Doctor this in a million years, but seeing him running around like and insane man like this and not how he usually was, was... scary. He had always been unpredictable and mad, but he'd also been brilliant at the same time. This was just madness without a thought, and the Doctor would be far too difficult to stop if... she stopped her thoughts before they could go any farther. Especially since the Doctor was nowhere near there. Yet.

(He hops in the air excitedly.)
ROSE: You're gonna kill us!
DOCTOR: Hold on tight, here we go!
(Their eyes meet across the console, the Doctor grinning madly, Rose looking scared.)
DOCTOR: Christmas Eve...!

The screen flickered off and 9 raised his eyebrows. When Zachariah had said 'minisode' he'd been underestimating. It was more like a deleted scene than an episode, no matter how short.

"Alright..." Zachariah's voice crackled into the room. "Back to our regularly scheduled programming."

"Oh, yay." The Master drawled sarcastically and sat up. "Because this is all so interesting."

Jack glared at him, happily ready to defend his friends. "It is interesting, actually. I'm having fun watching the Doctor's adventures. maybe you could stand to be a bit more open minded about someone who used to be your friend. Does that not mean anything to you? That the two of you were close?"

The Master rolls his eyes and scoffs, crossing his arms over his chest and tapping a finger on his arm to a four beat rhythm. "You know nothing about me and the Doctor, freak. You could never hope to understand, no matter how close you think and his tenth are right now."

The three Doctors stiffened and Jack furrowed his eyebrows, confused. "What? No, this is his ninth regeneration."

"Is it? Oh, Doctor you've been lying again." He admonished mockingly. "Were you never going to tell them about the war?"

"I have told them about the war. The one I fought in. The one I didn't run from, like you." 11 clenched his hand into a fist, and tried to force himself to relax. He didn't need to get angry. Again.

The other Time lord just rolls his eyes, ignoring the jab at him. "Not everything, it seems."

"They don't need to know everything." Finally, he took a breath. There's no arguing with an insane man.

Jack shifted and put his hand on 9's shoulder, giving him a comforting smile. "Don't worry. Nobody's listening to him."

"Hope not." He sighed and leaned back, closing his eyes. "He's even worse than me."

I didn't know where to end this lmao. Anyways hope y'all enjoyed. Next chapter may or may not come soon.
