"So, you guys all used to be Power Rangers?" Ben asked in amazement.

They'd returned to the warehouse, their minds spinning with questions. It was as they'd skidded inside that Doc gave them at least some of an explanation.

"I used the Digitizer to restore their old Morphers," he'd told them. "I managed to resecure a connection to the Morphing Grid."

"Why didn't you tell us what you were up to?" Hilary asked.

The look from the others was equally pointed. It was a fair question; having spent the last week stewing in wait for Goldar's next attack, it would have been nice to know that help was coming.

"Honestly," Doc admitted. "There was just too much I didn't know. I had no idea if I even could restore their powers, or for how long. Still don't, to be honest. And that's before figuring out if I even could get in contact with any former Rangers. I'm sorry for keeping you guys in the dark; I just didn't want to give any false hope."

Having accepted their mentor's explanation, the Data Squad team, at last, allowed themselves to gush over the veterans in their presence. "So, you guys are really the original Power Rangers?" Ray asked them.

"Not me," Rocky admitted. "I joined the team when the first Red Ranger went to the Peace Conference."

"If we're being technical," Kimberly added, shooting a cheeky smirk at Tommy. "I'm the only actual OG here. We didn't have Mr. Green-Dragon over here until later on."

Tommy rolled his eyes with a knowing smile, while Jake raised a question.

"Hang on," he realized. "If you were the Green Ranger, why did we see you in a white suit?"

"Oh," Tommy chuckled. "Here we go…"

"Technicolor Tommy here has had quite the expansive wardrobe," said Rocky, slapping his hands on his former teammate's shoulders. "He's worn green, white, red…"

"Seriously Tommy," Kimberly asked "Did Zordan have some sort of loyalty program that he never told us about? Like, do you get, like, a free suit with your fifth color?"

"You guys are throwing so much on me," Tommy pointed out. "Rocky here changed his colors too."

"He changed once," Kim retorted. "You look like you're buying out the entire rack. Which normally I'd be so in favor of, but here it looks like you've got a problem."

"You were going so strong for a while," Rocky agreed. "But then you moved to Reefside and…"

"Reefside?" Johnny blurted out, eyes widening with realization. "You were a Power Ranger there too? You… you were one of the Dino Thunder Rangers, weren't you?"

Kim and Rocky grinned, looking at their teammate like a pair of know-it-alls. Tommy meanwhile rolled his eyes before giving Johnny a smiling nod.

"Busted," he chuckled.

Before the other two could rib him anymore, Doc coughed a loud ahem to get their attention. With introductions out of the way, all nine Rangers turned to give him.

"I'm glad you guys were able to arrive in time," he said gratefully, "but it's still too early to celebrate. Goldar got away and we know Gideon's planning on sending more old foes in our direction. We've got to be ready."

With the humor now gone, all heads nodded in unified understanding.

"I've reconfigured your communicators to work in our com system," Doc continued, "so you should be able to hear the news when the other Rangers do. But you guys need to be careful. These restored powers are only temporary, so you need to consider how much you morph. I still need to conserve energy for other Rangers coming."

"Tell me about it!" said a voice from the door, and a tall African-American woman, yellow blouse poking out from beneath her jacket, strode into the warehouse. She smiled at the three veterans as walked over to the desk. "Happy to know I'm in the right place."

"Hey, Tanya," Tommy grinned. "It's been a while."

"Data Rangers," Doc announced. "This is Tanya Sloan, the Yellow Zeo, and Turbo Ranger."

"Welcome to the party," Ray grinned, extending a hand that the woman readily shook.

"Happy to be here," she grinned back. "Though usually, our reunions aren't quite this exciting. I hear you're having a bit of a monkey problem."

"That's one way to put it, yeah," Ray agreed.

Once again there was a knock at the door, the rattling metal echoing around the broad open space of the warehouse. From the entry, two men walked in. One was older, black shirt buttoned over his tanned, olive skin, while the other was dressed in blue, and couldn't have been any older than his mid-twenties.

"Carlos!" Tanya cheered, rushing to the man in black and wrapping him up in a hug. "I wasn't expecting you to be here!"

"Made the trip all the way from KO-35," the man admitted. "Heard there were some Rangers that needed an extra hand."

With that, Tanya turned to the other man, pausing as if she didn't recognize him. But the boy in blue merely grinned and nodded, and Tanya's eyes bulged at the realization.

"No!" she gasped. "Justin? You… you're so big!"

"In the flesh," the boy replied as they two embraced in a hug. "It's been a while."

"Oh man," Tommy groaned. "Now I really feel old."

"You feel old?" Rocky scoffed. "You didn't need him to replace you after an early retirement."

"Ummm…" said Ray as he looked over at the newcomers. "I think we might need…"

"Carlos Vallerte," Hilary pointed. "Green Turbo Ranger and Black Space Ranger. And I'm guessing that the guy beside him is Justin Stewart, the Blue Turbo Ranger."

Meanwhile, Justin had turned his attention to the other remaining veteran Rangers.

"Whoa, Tommy, Rocky?" he grinned, rushing to two of them. "Man, it's been way too long! And whoa, Tommy, what happened to your hair?"

"You know, I've always been meaning to ask that same question." Kim giggled, ruffling her fingers through Tommy's gelled spikes.

"What?" laughed Tommy, "Can't a guy get a haircut? Carlos, back me up here!"

With reunions made, the conversation quickly turned to introductions. Then, when all had been acquainted, Doc turned to address the twelve Rangers before him.

"Thank you all for coming," he told them, "As I was saying earlier, for most of you, your powers are temporary, so don't overdo it. I don't know if I would be able to restore them again."

But before he could go with any more explanations, an alarm began to sound.

"Three guesses what that means," Rocky noted as they all huddled around the monitor to see what was happening. Goldar returned, only this time he wasn't alone.

"Should have figured those two would be fast friends," noted Hilary as she spied Mileena at his side.

But she wasn't their only problem; it seemed Kelgar had felt compelled to put together a brand-new virus, just for the occasion; a large bipedal hyena.

"Some things never change," Kim commented. "Fashions might get better, but the monsters? Not so much."

Looking up from the monitor, Tommy nodded toward Ray. "Ready to get back to action?"

The Red Data Ranger paused. Goldar had wiped the floor with them last time, and while the new Rangers had held their own, the winged monkey had far more by his side this time. But as he looked back at his team, eyes glancing at the chaos unfolding in the city, he knew it didn't matter. This was their city; and they'd always defend it, no matter how hard the fight.

"You guys have the most experience with Goldar," he decided. "But Mileena's our responsibility. Think you can keep him busy while we take care of business?"

Tommy shot a look at his old teammates before grinning. "It'd be our pleasure."

With that, there was no more to say. The Rangers began to move towards the exits, Tanya stopping only briefly to retrieve a pair of wrist-mounted devices from Doc.

"I think it's time we showed monkey boy whose boss," Ray decided. His Morpher tightened in his grip, lifting it high in signal to the others. "Are you guys ready!?

"Ready!"

The eleven others stepped forward, a diverse array of devices held before them.

"It's Morphin' Time!" called Tommy, thrusting his Power Coin forward. "Tigerzord!"

Beside him, Kimberly and Rocky did the same.

"Pterodactyl!"

"Tyrannosaurus!"

Tanya's arms rose, snapping together the two devices while Justin rammed a key into the machine on his arm.

"Zeo Ranger Two, Yellow!"

"Shift into Turbo! Storm Blaster, Turbo Power!"

Out on the end, Carlos flipped up the top casing punching in code before pushing out his palm. "Let's Rocket!"

Then, at last, it was the local's turn, pressing forward their Data Morphers as the six moved in unison. "Data Squad! Digitize!"

The room was filled with light, twelve Rangers summoning their powers as their various suits formed around their bodies. Then, morphed and ready, the twelve of them lunged out into the Cranston City air; back to action. The Rangers cheered as they somersaulted onto the scene, feet skidding against the asphalt to form a defiant line against the robots and monsters.

"Power Rangers," Mileena sneered. "I guess every party needs a pooper."

"Funny," Ray replied. "we thought that was why they invited you."

"We've got to say Mileena," Ben taunted beside him, pointing over their enemy as Goldar loomed beside her. "We're impressed. It turns out even you can make friends."

"We bonded over mutual interests," Mileena clapped back. "Like our hatred of you."

With their enemy scowling, Ray shot a look to the rest of the expanded team.

"Tommy, you guys have the most experience with Goldar, so you take the lead there," he instructed. "But our priority has got to be these Byte-Bots and the virus. No telling what they'll do if we let them get out of hand. So, stick together and work as a team. Got it?"

"Go it!"

Standing before the Byte-Bots, Mileena glared at the multi-colored warriors, while beside her the large hyena beat their chest in anticipation.

"Oh yeah!" he cackled. "I'm going to eat them up like the dog's breakfast!"

"Just don't make me lose mine," Mileena insisted. "Byte-Bots, attack!"

The twelve of them split, vaulting into the air with their pairs to cleave through their part of the horde. Ray and Ben flipped into action, sword, and hammer swinging wide as they sent the foot soldiers flying. Their backs snapped together, forming a defense as one covered the other.

"Mind we have a turn?"

Before the boys could reply, Justin and Rocky spun into the circle of robots and landed beside them.

"Side by side at last, hey Rocky?" Justin laughed.

"You said it, kiddo," the red Ranger nodded. "But watch and learn. There are still a few things this old-timer can teach you!"

The Power Sword flashed into his hand, blocking an incoming strike. He battered it away, planting his boot into the chest to launch it into the air. As the Byte-Bot flailed, Rocky leaped after it, leaning back and spinning to turn his legs into a deadly corkscrew. The sword spun with him, carving like a blender as he tore apart the Byte-Bots on either side. As the one he was following crumbled to the ground in pieces, Rocky landed in a crouch. The remainders piled in after.

"We better give him a hand," Ray decided as the two blue Rangers nodded in agreement.

He lunged in, soaring over the crowding bots as he landed beside Rocky and pressed their backs together. The two moved in fluid motion, blocking as the other struck, covering their blind spots as they pulled the numbers apart. Up ahead, he saw a flash of blue, and a pair of large blasters appeared in the hands of the Turbo Ranger.

"Ben!" Ray called out. "Line them up!"

With a mighty roar, Ben brought the hammer upwards, crashing through the chest of the nearest bot as the resulting shockwave sent the others flying. Upended and defenseless, the Byte-Bots flailed as they finished their ascent and barreled toward the ground.

"Turbo Hand Blasters!" Justin called. "Fire!"

Bolts of blue burst from the barrels, blasting the bots in the barrage. Flaming bits of robots clattered to the ground, as the four Rangers cheered in celebration and moved to regroup with the others.

Over by another group, Tommy looked like he had his hands full. The sword flashed as it sliced through the numbers; but for every move the White Ranger made, more kept coming.

"Man, looks like the numbers are against me," he chuckled before flipping around the sword and looking to the pommel. "Want in on the action Saba?"

The mouth of the tiger moved, eyes flashing to voice an enthusiastic reply. "Of course I do, Tommy!"

Without another word, Tommy hurled the sword at the robots, its shape spinning as it sliced into the shoulder of the target. But as it made an impact, it shifted course, zagging away to strike another, and then another. As Saba soared and slashed through the horde, Tommy continued his onslaught with his fists. Together, the duo weaved through the numbers, striking them down one blow at a time until all that remained were a pile of sparking parts.

Satisfied with their handiwork, Tommy stood above the wreckage, arm held aloft as he recalled the sword to his hand.

"Nice work, old friend," he said proudly. "Man, it really is like old times."

"Tommy, look out!"

The White Ranger dived just in time to Saba's warning as the Goldar's blade sliced where he'd just been standing. Tommy spun around, sword at the ready as Goldar recovered and readied for another round.

"Sneak attack, Goldar?" Tommy scoffed. "See you're just as dirty as ever."

"White Ranger!" Goldar sneered. "You will pay for your many humiliations!"

"Not today!"

Goldar turned just as Kyle leaped in, glowing energy sword poised and ready. The golden warrior spun around and parried, catching Kyle's blade as the Security Ranger pushed in. Tommy wasted no time, diving in to strike with Saba as Goldar stumbled back.

"Nice save," Tommy congratulated.

"Yeah," Kyle chuckled, nodding to a pile of ruined Byte-Bots, "You seemed lost without me."

"Hello?" Goldar growled. "I'm still here!"

The two Rangers looked two each other, grinning beneath their helmets.

"After you," Tommy offered.

"No," Kyle replied. "I insist."

"Together then?"

"Yeah!"

The two Rangers lunged in, swords poised for Goldar's chest as the warrior met them with his own. The three spun around each other in the middle of the street, none of them able to gain an edge amid the twirling melee.

But that was exactly the point.

"Is this all you have?" Goldar scoffed as the two pushed closer against his sword. "Is this all that the Power Rangers can throw at me?"

"Man, you don't know me at all," Kyle laughed. "Mileena really should have warned you that I'm just a distraction."

"What?"

But Kyle was right. While Tommy and the Security Ranger had lunged to engage Goldar, the others had been free to mop up.

"Hey, Mileena!" Hilary called out, cartwheeling closer with the sais glinting in the sun. "Been a while!"

"Yellow Ranger!" Mileena snarled. "This meeting will be our last!"

The sword swung wide, Hilary flipping around his sais to reverse grip an X and catch it. Squeezing the blade like scissors, she pulled down on the blade and yanked Mileena closer.

"Hope you don't mind," said Hilary. "But I brought a few friends."

Mileena's head whipped to the side, eyes widening as Kimberly and Tanya took to the air. The Blade Blaster and Pod Sword swiped downwards, Mileena barely throwing Hilary off to dodge before flipping backward and away from harm.

"Thought we'd have a girl's afternoon," Tanya announced.

"Honestly," Kimberly mused, "I'd have preferred the spa."

"We considered inviting you," Hilary taunted. "But, well… you know."

Mileena roared as she brandished her sword and charged in. Hilary rushed to meet her, sais clinking against the blade as she parried the blows. Locked in place to keep Hilary from counter-attacking, it left Tanya free to go on offense. The Zeo Ranger's Power Clubs swung wide, flinging out from the end of the chain as Mileena hurriedly pulled back. Tanya didn't let up, each movement striking out with the nunchucks as Mileena desperately stumbled back from every blow.

Pushed against the wall, Hilary rushed in again to keep up the pressure, sais flashing as they collided with the sword. With a furious roar, Mileena ducked beneath the swinging batton, launching herself over Hilary and backing away from the two yellow Rangers.

"Sorry," she smiled. "It's going to take more than that to corner me!"

"That's okay," Hilary laughed.

"You ready, Kim?" Tanya asked with a look to her right.

"Target acquired!"

Mileena barely had time to realize what was happening as a barrage of pink energy peppered into her armor. Sparks flew as they hurled the warrior from her feet, slamming her into the wall before sending her sprawling to the ground. As Hilary and Tanya leaped back to rejoin her, Kimberly lowered her Power Bow and stared down at Mileena.

"You know, I take it back," she laughed. "This is so much better than a spa day."

"This isn't over," Mileena snarled. "Or have you forgotten about Alpha-Hound?"

Then, before the girls could so much as ask for a round two, she teleported away. One down, Hilary didn't waste any time changing targets.

"Come on," she decided. "Let's help the others."

They rushed over to the edge of the street, where Carlos had joined Jake and Johnny in taking on the virus.

"Hoooo!" the hyena howled, "I think you've bitten more than you can chew!"

His jaws crunched forward, unleashing two sharp waves of energy that soared toward the three Rangers. They dived, and just in time; moments later the attack exploded right where they'd been standing.

"Let's keep him back," Johnny decided, switching the staff, while beside him Carlos had protracted out his own Lunar Lance.

The two black Rangers rushed in, using the long ends of the polearms to jab in at the virus.

"Want to bite on something?" Johnny laughed. "Here you go!"

He swung wide, bringing around the staff and cracking into Alpha-Hound's open mouth. The virus chomped down in surprise, grabbing ahold of the staff as Johnny pushed to keep it in place.

"Good doggy," he laughed. "Ready Carlos?"

"You know it!"

Then Johnny shot a nod back to Jake. "Time to take this guy for a walk!"

With Johnny holding him back, Carlos swung around the Lunar Lance, sweeping from beneath the legs to trip the hyena out from beneath. The monster's eyes widened as his footing broke away, flipping him backward as Johnny leaped away. Then Jake took to the air, green axe raised high as he brought it slicing down on the monsters.

The monster howled as the weapon struck against its form, the strike exploding on impact to send him flying.

As the trio readied for another bout, the rest of the Data Squad gathered around them.

"Mind if we take it from here?" Ray asked Carlos.

"By all means." Graciously, the Black Space Ranger bowed before leaping off to help the others. Meanwhile, Ray snapped to his team, all with Power Weapons at the ready.

"Let's put it together!"

The Data Rangers slotted their weapons together in perfect harmony, forming the mighty cannon before leveling it on the bruised and battered Alpha-Hound.

"Data Blaster!" they called.

"Hey, Doggy?" Johnny taunted. "Fetch!"

"Fire!"

The barrel boomed, the round of energy bursting out and barreling toward to wounded canine. The shot hit dead on, slamming into the virus' chest before exploding into a marvelous ball of flame. The whole street shook as the flames seared outwards, shifting into smoke as the smoldering pieces of Alpha-Hound scattered across the pavement.

Two down, one to go.

But there's always a wrinkle in the plan.

The green light burst from the sky, illuminating the chunks of the virus before drawing them together. As the light faded, Alpha-Hound had been restored, now to the looming eighty-story height that towered above the city.

"Ahhh!" the virus laughed. "Time for some walkies!"

"They really are sticking to the classics," Tanya commented beside them.

Ray looked to the side, seeing Tommy and Kyle still locked in combat with Goldar. Even joined by the other three men, it didn't look like it would be over any time soon.

"Go tag out Kyle," he told Kimberly and Tanya. "We'll deal with the mutt."

"Right!"

The pink and yellow Rangers leaped away as the five Data Rangers lifted their Morphers.

"Zord Powers! Digitize!"

The mechanical animals burst from the screens, rushing onto the street with the colored light surrounding them. As Kyle summoned his own, the Rangers vaulted into the cockpit, hitting the combination sequence and bringing them all together.

"Ctrl-Alt-Delete Megazord! Online!"

"Ooooh," smiled Alpha-Hound. "Now that looks like a tasty chew toy!"

"Uh, guys?" Jake warned as he shot a look out of the cockpit. "New problem!"

The Rangers snapped their heads to where they were pointing, right as a second beam shot down from the sky. Then, before their eyes, Goldar began to grow, swelling in size to easily match the Alpha-Hound.

"Ah," he grinned. "It's good to be back!"

"Goldar's big too?" Hilary realized. "How are we going to deal with that?"

The two monsters readily stepped forward, each taking a side of the Megazord and getting ready to close in. Ray scanned the controls, looking for a way to even the odds. But two against one weren't great, and he doubted that even if they split down into the smaller Megazords they'd be able to be to stand up to the evil pair.

He was about to admit defeat when a friendly voice sounded over the com.

"Don't worry guys," Carlos told them. "Reinforcements are coming in hot!"

The radar began flashing, warning them of an object coming in from above. And as they opened the monitor to view it, they couldn't believe their eyes.

It was a spaceship!

It thundered downwards, rumbling as it drew closer to the city. Then they heard a screeching, tires burning as suddenly a large blue pick-up burst from one of the tops of the buildings.

"Storm Blaster!" came Justin's voice. "Docking in!"

As the giant truck soared through the air, the ship began to move, the edges of its hulking shape shifting away from the rest as it folded on an axis. The Data Rangers gasped as they realized the shape it was shifting into; a person!

Green light shone from the top, catching the soring vehicle and pulling it toward the top. With a whir, the truck too began to change, splitting down the middle and folding on itself. Folding into a face. With a heavy shunt, the truck locked in place at the top, and the spaceship thumped to the ground, standing tall as a blue, armored warrior with a red sigil on its chest. A new Megazord!

"Astro-Megazord!" the team of veteran Rangers called from their new cockpits. "Mark Two! Online!"

With rumbling steps the new Megazord stepped beside the Ctrl-Alt-Delete, ready to engage their foes. Goldar and Alpha-Hound stumbled back, shocked at the arrival of the new Megazord. But up in their own, Ray stared at the screen of his controls to see the other six staring back at him.

"Ready when you are, Ray," Carlos confirmed, hands on the controls and ready to engage.

With a grin, Ray shot a look to his own, feeling their excitement resonate throughout the cockpit. "Awesome! Then let's give these guys something to really sink their teeth into!"

"Right!"

The Ctrl-Alt-Delete snapped its arms forward, vents hissing as the array of barrels protruded from the sides. Then, like a flash of lightning, the Astro-Megazord held out its hands as an enormous blaster appeared in it.

"Deleter Blaster!" called the Data Rangers. "Armed and ready!"

"Astro-Megazord Blaster!" the veterans confirmed. "Ready to rocket!"

The two monsters tensed, bracing themselves for the barrage. Ray could tell they were weighing up a frontal assault, but already Goldar was shifting to put Alpha-Hound between himself and the pair of Megazords.

Oh no, you don't!

"Fire!" he roared, slamming his hand on the throttle as the energy levels soared.

The barrels on the arms burst alight with energy, a barrage of lasers descending into a carronade toward their targets. Beside them, the cannon of the Astro Megazord boomed as well, the mighty round spinning through the air, surfing the wave from the Ctrl-Alt-Delete to combine into one mighty blast. Alpha-Hound screamed the energy engulfed its body, and behind him, even Goldar vanished as the attack burst into a flash of light. As the energy cleared, the virus tumbled backward, exploding into a column of flame that incinerated its form for good. Behind him stood Goldar, golden army blacked with soot, shaking as he struggled to stand.

"Ready to finish him off for good guys?" asked Ray as the two Megazords stepped forward again.

"Yeah!" called the others.

But before they could do anything, Goldar snarled and pointed his sword at the pair.

"You may have won this time Rangers," he roared. "But your days are numbered!"

And then he vanished in a flash of light, leaving the two Megazords to stand triumphant over the city.

"So Goldar's still out there?" asked Hilary, staring at the screen playing back their battle from the afternoon. They'd returned to the warehouse, on the one hand riding a high of their successful team-up, but still feeling Goldar's shadow loom above them.

As much as they'd wanted it to be, it wasn't over. Not by a long shot.

"You made him retreat," Doc replied. "It ended the fight and stopped things from getting worse. That's a win; don't let anything else tell you otherwise. And hopefully, after the show you just put on, it'll keep Gideon scared for a while."

"We can only hope," Ray agreed, trying to hide the uncertainty in his voice. But the truth was, he knew their victory was short-lived. Gideon had already brought back Goldar; there was no telling who'd he'd bring back next to tip the scales back.

Before he could finish the thought, Tommy and other veterans wandered back into the warehouse. "You guys were awesome out there!"

"Yeah, seriously guys," Kimberly agreed. "It was so cool to see that even after all these years, Power Rangers still kick serious butt."

The words lifted their spirits, and around him, Ray saw the faces of his teammates lighten. Beside him, Hilary shot him a knowing look; a twitch at her lips that made his heart flutter.

Still, they were a long way from celebrating.

"I just wish could have finished the fight," he admitted.

"Hey, don't worry about it," Carlos insisted. "Until we put Goldar down for good, we've got your back."

The Rangers looked up, the reality of what he saying slowly dawning on them.

"Wait…" said Jake. "Do you guys mean…?"

"We've talked it over," Tommy nodded. "We all know how tight things can get when the chips are down."

"You guys are great out there," Tanya agreed. "But we figure, the more Rangers the better, right?"

"Wait," Johnny realized. "So, you guys are hanging around?"

The veterans nodded. "Cranston City's been doing great in your hands," Rocky assured them.

"But Gideon better think twice now that there're two Ranger teams around!" Justin cheered.

Ray couldn't help but smile at the team of veterans beaming back at them. Staying, not to replace, but to help. He wouldn't let them down.

"Gideon's not going to know what hit him," he grinned, sticking out his hand as the others formed a circle around him. One by one, their hands stacked on top.

"POWER RANGERS!" they cheered, throwing their hands into the air.

Their numbers had doubled, and with the guidance and wisdom of the veterans, their chances had improved dramatically. But as they all cheered in celebration, Ray couldn't help but shake a grasping feeling in his chest.

A worry that it wouldn't be enough.

"Well, well," Mileena smirked, prowling the edges of the observation deck and eyeing the kneeling Goldar at the center. "It seems even the mighty Goldar couldn't stand up to the Rangers."

The gold-winged baboon whipped his head around and growled. "They got lucky; next time I'll be sure to finish them!

"Next time?" Mileena scoffed. "And how many Rangers will they have by then?"

"Enough!"

Mileena stood up straight as Gideon's voice cut across the chamber, and Goldar himself snapped back to attention. Slowly, Gideon rose from his throne and descended the stairs to address his two warriors.

"It was wise to retreat," Gideon said, before adding slyly. "both of you. The two teams of Rangers would have overpowered you, you would not have been a match for the combined might of their Megazords.

"Master," Goldar insisted. "Please, let me try again. Prove my worth!"

Gideon merely raised his hand. "You have nothing to prove to me, Goldar. And I need you alive until I have been able to resurrect all the warriors. You see, in our tangles with the Rangers, I have learned the true secret to their success."

Mileena raised an eyebrow, dubious about the insight of her master's sudden revelation.

"Really?" she scoffed. "And what is that?"

"Teamwork," Gideon replied lazily. "The Rangers are strongest when they are together. For some time I thought the solution was to break them apart, to corner them on their own. But now I know, the true answer is to counter with a team of my own."

He turned to the kneeling Goldar, smiling as he looked down upon him. "Do not worry, I promise that you will have your chance to destroy the Power Rangers soon enough."

"Thank you, my master," Goldar replied. "I will enjoy especially leaving the White Ranger until last."

Mileena rolled her eyes; old rivalries never died it seemed. The doors hissed open, and Kelgar scampered into the room. The smile on his face was even more nauseatingly chipper than usual.

"Master," he announced. "I have been doing some calculations and have some excellent news. In preparation for the next resurrection, I have streamlined the process. I will be able to create two now, rather than just one."

At the news, Gideon's lips split into an evil grin as turned the underling.

"Well then, Kelgar," he said. "Let us do all we can to ensure Vexacus and Zeltrax feel welcome."
