A beautiful day on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Logan and Destiny returned to see their friends in the ocean to relax, and also because Logan wanted to study ocean magic some more. Destiny cast a bubble spell around him so that he could take notes in his notebook without getting it destroyed by the water.

"That's very interesting," the young boy, in his human form, remarked while scratching his pencil on a piece of paper. "Master Yen Sid did mention Hydromancy before, but never really in deep detail; he always preferred talking about Water Magic. Now, I know that it actually does exist."

"What's Hydromancy?" Destiny asked.

"It's a sub-power of Water Magic that allows one to read the future, the present and the past, as well as getting visions or hind sights about important subjects."

"Sounds cool! Do you have it?"

"I'm afraid not. Hydromancy is a power one is born with; it cannot be learned. And you know that Water Magic isn't exactly my thing," Logan pointed out with rubbing the back of his head. "Maybe YOU possess it, though. Did you ever get visions when focusing your magic in the water?"

Destiny rubbed her chin with her flipper. "Not that I know of. I mean, I've lived my entire life in the ocean... and my vision isn't the best, as you know," she mused.

"Yeah, true. That's too bad," Logan remarked, getting lost in his thoughts again. "Perhaps Percy Jackson could help determine whether you have it or not. He's part of the Disney Universe ever since the 20th Century Fox's takeover. Being the son of Poseidon, I'm sure he'll be of good help... Unless we go ask Ariel."

"Guys! Guys!"

The young couple turned to see Nemo swimming their way. He seemed to be in a hurry. Logan pulled his equipment away, turned back in his electric eel form, and came out of the bubble. "Nemo? What's wrong?"

"It's Dory! She went to swim on her own and disappeared. We can't find her anywhere!" the clownfish explained in panic.

"Oh no, not again," Destiny mumbled with a worried frown.

"It's okay, no need to panic!" Logan said. "We'll find her, where's the last place you saw-"

"INCOMING!"

Logan barely had time to turn around that a flash of blue passed by him. Next thing he knew, his head was aching from an impact. After recovering, he saw a regal blue tang with magenta eyes staring at him. "I found you!" the both of them exclaimed at the same time. "You found me?" they asked once again in unison.

"Dory! There you are." Marlin and Hank arrived on the scene shortly after.

"Hey, we found her!" Hank announced to no one in particular.

"You cannot just swim off like that. I turn my back on you for one second and...!" Marlin scolded his blue friend, only to realize she was no longer there. "Dory?"

The fish in question suddenly appeared beside the clownfish, making him jump. "So, get this. I was just talking to a clam who heard from a moray eel who was talking to a bluefish... like, the actual species bluefish, not just a blue fish, and he said-"

"What did you hear, Dory?" Marlin interrupted his friend's rambling. Bailey joined the group at the same time.

"Oh, uh... What did I hear? Uh... Shoot," Dory mumbled while rubbing her chin with a flipper.

Sighing, Marlin grabbed her flipper and started swimming away. "Come on, let's head home."

Dory gasped at this and immediately broke free from Marlin's grip. "Home! That's it! The Marine Life Institute... it flooded!"

"Flooded?" Destiny repeated.

"Wow. What do you suppose caused that?" Bailey asked.

"My guess? A lot of water," Dory replied, causing Logan to chuckle a bit.

"Yeah, we understood that, Dory, but what he meant was-"

"And now, the fish who are there need our help!" Dory interrupted Logan.

"They need our help?" questioned Marlin.

"Help with what, kid?" Hank asked.

"Um... I don't know," Dory answered. "I mean, I think the clam explained it, but..." She gasped. "We're running out of time! C'mon, guys, we have to go!" And with that, she swam off the reef's coast and into the open world of the ocean.

"Dory! Wait! Argh!" Marlin growled with a frown.

Logan came to place a flipper on his back. "You heard the girl, Marlin, let's go." He started swimming after Dory... before turning around and giving a sheepish grin to his girlfriend. "Do you think you can help me, Destiny? Since we have to cross the ocean and all..."

"Help with what?" Nemo asked.

"Well, you see, Nemo, I suffer from thalassophobia. It's when someone's afraid of huge open spaces underwater... like the ocean..."

"I have to help him with it every time we go around," Destiny explained. "Come on, Logan, get on my back. I will also use a little song to ease your mind."

I'm a little yellow fish...

I'm a little yellow fish...

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody help me?

The fish group swam along the East Australian Current after leaving the Barrier Reef, Logan admiring the tens of beautiful aquatic creatures swimming around, including a huge whale. He exchanged a high-five with Crush the turtle while Marlin, on his shell, did what he could not to vomit.

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody save me?

Do you wanna know how

Living is beneath the waves?

Do you wanna know how

Everything I knew was changed?

They arrived at the valley with a huge fleet of jellyfishes. While Destiny, Bailey and Hank had to swim around, Logan had a race with Dory in which Nemo and Marlin also took part.

It wasn't such a big commotion

All you need is magic potion

And with a wriggle, a twist,

A splash and a splish, you're a fish

Help me!

When they arrived at the wreckage of a sunken container ship, the giant squid who tried to eat Nemo when they first came here attempted to attack the group, only to receive a strong tail whip from Destiny who glared at him, making him go back in his crate.

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody help me?

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody save me?

Do you wanna take a whale bus?

Wanna meet a stupid shark?

The group took a stop to rest a bit. Logan told everyone a bad joke that made them roll their eyes, but laugh nonetheless.

Do you wanna ride a seahorse?

Or hide in an oyster park?

It wasn't such a big commotion

All you need is magic potion

And with a wriggle, a twist,

A splash and a splish, you're a fish

Help me!

At night, everyone slept, with Destiny on the surface and Logan on her back, looking at the stars with a smile.

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody help me?

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody save me?

Help me, help me!

I need a remedy

Help me, help me!

Help me, help me!

I need a remedy

Help me, help me!

During the journey across the ocean, Dory collected many shells. However, even with Hank's help, carrying them all was very hard. Logan helped her by stocking them in his magical inventory, where he also kept his magic notebook and swords.

Life is strange at the bottom of the ocean

You won't believe the things you see

Stay ashore, don't give in to notions

If you don't wanna be like me

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody help me?

Logan remained on Destiny's back with his eyes closed as they crossed a huge bed of open water. Eventually, Hank came to poke at him with his tentacle and point forward to show they had arrived at the Marine Life Institute in Morro Bay, California.

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody save me?

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody help me?

I'm a little yellow fish in the deep blue sea

Will somebody save me?

Won't somebody save me?

The aquatic group gathered before the MIL's wall, near a pipe entrance. "Well, here we are. Now what?" Marlin asked.

"Before we do anything, we need to know what's going on in there," Logan pointed out before turning to his beluga friend. "Bailey, can you use your echolocation to take a look inside the building?"

"On it!" Bailey replied and closed his eyes to focus. "OOOOOoooo! Oh, wow. Yeah, there was definitely a flood. All the fish are gathering together, and it looks like the staff is about to open the drains," he explained to his friends.

"Drains?" Dory asked.

"Sounds like they got it under control," Destiny remarked.

"There. You see?" Hank told Dory. "There was no need to be worried."

"What? Are you telling me we've crossed the entire ocean for nothing?" Logan asked, his eye twitching a bit.

Dory, however, did not seem eased at all. "Wait, wait! That's it! The fish are gonna get washed down the drains!" she exclaimed.

"Hey, they'll be alright," Destiny tried to calm her 'pipe pal' down.

"If anybody goes down the drains, they'll just end up in the ocean," Hank pointed out.

"Uh, guys?" Bailey suddenly called out after using his echolocation again. "Those drains don't lead directly to the ocean."

"What do you mean?" Logan asked.

"The drains lead to an area with barely any water, and... seagulls. Plenty of seagulls hanging around, like they are waiting for their snack."

Logan's eyes widened at this. "Oh no... Not the Mines... Anything but the Mines..." He rubbed his head with his flipper. "Gosh, I can fight a lot of things, but not those stubborn avians!"

"Dory and I don't exactly keep good memories about them either," Marlin pointed out with a shiver.

"Alright, we gotta go in there and save everyone before they can turn into a Mine feast," Logan said. "I'm gonna go in the pipes with Dory, Marlin and Nemo since we are the only ones who can fit in. Bailey, keep using your echolocation to guide us through and warn us if something goes wrong. Destiny, Hank, remain on stand by in case we need your help at any point, okay?"

Everybody nodded in agreement with Logan's plan. "Let's go!" Dory beamed and swam into the pipe, followed by her three friends.

Logan, Dory, Marlin and Nemo swam across the pipes under Bailey's guidance until they arrived into a room with a few fish hanging around. "Hi, we're here to save you," Dory announced. However, the fish did not approach them and went to hide behind aquatic plants.

"Why aren't they moving?" Marlin asked.

"They look scared," Nemo pointed out.

"Scared? Of what?" Marlin asked. "There's nothing to be-"

"HEY GUYS!" The four friends jumped at the sound of Bailey's voice and hopped away from the pipe.

"Dude, don't make us jump like this!" Logan exclaimed. "What is it?"

"Sorry. I just saw something that looks... well, out of place," the beluga called from the other end of the pipe.

"Out of place? What do you mean?" Marlin asked.

"I don't know. I can see something weird swimming your way. It doesn't look like any fish I've seen here before. Do you see it?"

Turning around, Logan spotted what his beluga friend talked about. A green creature carrying a trident. He recognized it as a Heartless - a Screwdiver, to be exact. "Great, Heartless, just what we needed!" he sarcastically said and summoned his Owl Buster sword that he grabbed with his flipper and started fighting off the Heartless. It wasn't easy to swing his sword around when not in his human form (and underwater), but he still managed to defend himself.

(Author's note: for those of you who haven't read TheDragonSaver's stories, the Owl Buster is like Cloud's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy 7, but the blade is snow-white with the cross-guard designed to look like an owl's wings)

As Logan took out the many Screwdivers in the room, the others tried to remain away from the fight. However, Nemo ended up caught between two of them. "H-Help!" he called.

"Nemo! No!" Marlin called out in horror at seeing his son in danger.

Dory saw what was about to happen and widened her magenta eyes. Feeling something inside her, the blue fish took a deep breath and blew a bubble that flew at one of the Heartless, trapping it inside. It wiggled, but couldn't break out of the bubble.

"H-How did you do that, Dory?" Marlin asked in surprise.

"I don't know. I just saw Nemo in danger, and felt like I... Actually, I don't remember," the blue tang admitted while rubbing her chin.

"D'you think you can do it again?" Logan asked after taking down another Screwdiver.

Dory tried and succeeded to blow another bubble to trap one of the Heartless. Together, Logan and Dory managed to take out all the Heartless in the room. "Are you alright, Nemo?" the electric eel asked his young friend, who was currently getting tended to by his dad.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Nemo then looked at Dory. "What's that thing you just did, Dory?"

"I have no idea. Unless I do and just don't remember... Do I know it?" she asked with looking at her friends.

"No, you don't, but I can explain it," Logan said with a smile. "You possess Bubble Magic, a variation of Water Magic. Master Yen Sid told me about it."

"So... Dory has magic powers too?" Marlin asked in surprise. Logan confirmed it with a nod.

"Oh, cool, I always wanted to do magic!" Dory beamed.

After leading the fish through the pipes and to the safety of the ocean, Logan and his friends got told by Bailey that Hank headed to the quarantine to help the fish there. So, they made their way across the facility until they arrived at the quarantine pipes. Logan used his Owl Buster to cut through the tick algae and Heartless they came across They had to fight against the currents and mess with the machines with Hank sometimes helping from within the facility, but through teamwork and Bailey's guidance, they managed to get all the fish out of quarantine and back to the others.

The group went to save the fish in the touch pool next. As if dealing with Heartless wasn't enough, they also had to avoid the children's hands reaching for them. Logan understood why Hank didn't want to come with them. Good thing Dory was there to push the group forward. At one point, they even went to the bathroom pipes, where a group of fish got trapped. They got to see... disgusting sights during the rescue.

By the end of the day, all the fish were rescued from the MLI before the staff could open the drains. Of course, Logan and his friends had to find them somewhere to live around Morro Bay, since they were not all going to follow them back to Australia.

Once all the fish were settled in their new residence, Logan and the others stared at what they did. "I think we can say that we did a great job today, guys."

"You can say that again, kid. I almost lost another tentacle saving those folks in quarantine," Hank said with stretching his seven limbs.

"At least everyone is safe," Nemo pointed out.

"Yup, and we can finally go back home now," Marlin said, eager to return to the Coral Reef and get some rest.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Marlin," Bailey said with a yawn. "It'll be night soon, and we're all tired. The ideal would be to stay here for the night and travel back to Australia next morning."

"I second that," Destiny announced with a flipper up, the others nodding in agreement. "Now, let's go find somewhere to sleep. You coming, Logan?"

The electric eel nodded and followed his girlfriend. He planned to return to the human world tomorrow rather than going back to Australia as he did enough studies on Water Magic for the time being. Plus, he was excited to announce Master Yen Sid that Dory unlocked Bubble Magic... And he wasn't excited to travel across the ocean again anytime soon...

Author's note: Another chapter under the sea for our electric eel-whale shark duo. This one was based on the Finding Dory playset for Disney Infinity 3.0 - which was also the final set they released for the game.

We learned a little more about Water Magic and its variations here. Hydromancy is a power I learned the existence of by watching the Merlin TV show, and liked the concept. Since Disney bought the 20th Century Fox, I decided why not make Percy Jackson a Water Magic expert? He is scheduled to have a Disney+ show in the near future anyway. And Dory unlocked Bubble Magic, which is based on her bubble attack from Disney Infinity 3.0.

The song used in this chapter is 'Help! I'm a fish' from the movie... Help! I'm a fish. It's an old Danish animation movie from 2000. I recently re-discovered it after seeing it for the first time when I was a kid, and I gotta say it's not just a Finding Nemo rip-off, as everyone says. Sure, it has its flaws, but it's also very enjoyable.

The disorder Logan mentioned having in this chapter, thalassophobia, is real and something I actually have in real life. As far as I can remember, I've always been afraid of giant bodies of water like the ocean. I just can't help it - I always feel like something's gonna jump out of the dark depths to either kill me or, worst, drag me into the abyss. I decided to make it one of Logan's characteristics, since it goes with the theme of Finding Nemo; overcoming your personal limits and/or fears. Before you point it out, yeah, I know it's ironic for someone afraid of the ocean to have an animated movie taking place in the ocean as his favorite Pixar movie.
