Esmeralda finished cooking her father's dinner. She knew he would be home in 30 minutes, almost 6 pm. She wanted to do a couple of dances before she met with Sosuke. Deep down, she was excited and didn't know why she felt that way. More than his looks. He seemed quite intelligent, even though he could sometimes be full of himself. However, it would allow her to know who he indeed was. When she finished cooking her father's dinner, she got all her belongings and checked herself in the mirror. Esmeralda didn't wear any makeup. It was something she wasn't fond of. She wore a light pink summer dress with white flower designs, her hair was curled a bit, and she wore her favorite blue jean jacket. She was ready.

The young woman got in her car and drove to her usual spot. Traffic was getting there since it was the weekend and many people usually went out. Luckily she was on the road in good time and knew she would make it. Once on the streets, she went to parking lots and paid. Esmeralda, with her belongings on hand, went to her usual spot. There were many people, and she was happy about that. In her usual place, she got out her things and connected them to her phone. While getting everything ready, she would glance to see if Sosuke was in sight. There was a part of her that felt that he would not show up. Why would he? She shook her head and played her first song called Lamento Cigano. The sound of the guitar echoed. Esmeralda got a hold of parts of her long skirt and began to dance to the music. Esmeralda didn't know that certain eyes were watching her as she danced.

...

Yhwach made it to the square where the older woman told him where Esmeralda would usually be at. There were many people, and he tried looking everywhere. He decided to sit by a small cafe and order a coffee. Many people, primarily women, would stare at him seductively. Many would walk past him slowly, hoping they would catch his eye. Usually, he would pick a woman to sleep with, but today, he wasn't interested. He wanted to see if Esmeralda would arrive. He looked at his Rolex, and it was already 6 pm. "The old woman did say between 6 pm-7 pm. That old hag better not have lied to me," he told himself. As he took another sip from his coffee, that was when he heard music. A soft tune, and it made him perk up a bit. He searched for where the music came from, which was a bit farther.

He got up and walked around to see where the music was. Then he looked to his right, where he saw her; Esmeralda. She was dancing to the song slowly and gracefully. Yhwach stopped as he watched her from afar. Esmeralda made many twirls with her long skirt and moved her hips slowly and gracefully. Her arms swayed upwards and downwards. She used her legs and feet to twirl and make small jumps. His light blue eyes didn't at once blink. His lips were a bit open as he kept on watching.

...

Meanwhile, Sosuke was already in the square early. He wore a long-sleeved dark blue shirt, dark khaki pants, and dressy shoes; his brown hair was slicked back as always. The young man decided to arrive early; he had a hunch that Esmeralda would want to dance a bit to earn before they met. He let out a slight smirk. Sosuke walked to the square, receiving stares in the process. He ignored them as he was looking for Esmeralda. Sosuke heard music from afar. "As I thought," he told himself. Sosuke followed where the music was coming from. From afar, he saw her finishing dancing to a song. Then, another piece was heard.

Sosuke decided not to be seen. He was interested in what other song she was going to dance to. The following music played, and Esmeralda made more sensual movements, but they were not sexual. She used her upper body and skirt for movements. Many people went and gave her change in a box she had. More of the men and older women gave her change. Many women eyed her with disdain or envy; they forced their boyfriends or husbands to go to other spots. Sosuke stood and didn't move a muscle as he kept on watching. He was amazed at her skill and passion. The song ended, and many cheered for her. Esmeralda bowed and cheered herself. She then saw Sosuke from afar and blushed. Esmeralda noticed how he looked at her. "He's early," she thought to herself. Sosuke noticed her nervousness when she saw him; he couldn't help but smirk.

Esmeralda saw his smirk and saw it as a challenge. She got her phone and played a tune that she would sing. A song that she would sing to him. "You want to play, then let's play." She put her phone down, and then a loud organ played. It is by Mishal Segal from the movie Phantom of the Opera 1989 with Robert Englund. She sang.

"Your eyes see but my shadow."

Esmeralda walked closer to Sosuke. He was surprised but didn't move as he listened to her.

"My heart is overflowing.

There's so much you could come to know.

You're content not knowing."

She walked closer to Sosuke as she sang. All watched.

"Tenderly, you could see,

My soul."

Esmeralda stood before Sosuke. A strong gust of wind flew by, making Metztli's hair float mid-air along with her long dress as she finished the last part of the song. She concluded, and the two looked at one another. Esmeralda smiled. "You're early."

Sosuke was silent for a moment as the gust of air softened. "I guess I am."

From afar, Yhwach heard the way she sang. Yhwach has been to many concerts for business and heard many professional singers, but their voices were nothing compared to Esmeralda's. She sang like a siren; it seemed her voice commanded the elements. For the first time in his life, he was stunned. However, there was something else he noticed. As Esmeralda sang, she was walking towards someone, a man. Yhwach observed, and his eyes were wide open. "Sosuke. What is he doing here?" When Metztli finished, he watched them standing in front of one another. "So he is the one she was going to meet," he said. He watched her walk back as more people gave her change; she put her things away in her bag. Sosuke helped her and walked to a nearby restaurant.

Yhwach bit his lower lip.
