Steve walked next to the Daemon Sisters after they pulled up at the Office. After everything he was told, he was far more scared than nervous. But he also couldn't get away so quickly. He follows the sisters until they reach Corset's office.
"Sir? We brought him, as you asked," Kneesocks said.
Corset turns away and Steve almost jumps.
"Step closer," Corset said.
Steve did so, trying not to do anything to make him mad.
"He's awhile of what we are, sir," Scanty said.
"Ah! Don't worry, boy. I have no intention of harming you." Corset said as Steve stop in front of the desk.
"It's so rare to see a promising human that tries to win the heart of a person they love. Even if that said person is an angel." Corset said, walking around his desk.
Steve didn't move. He was very unsure of what to do.
"It's also rare to see a person who's part ghost work with said angel," Corset said.
"Sir?" Kneesocks said,
"Yes, yes, I'm getting there," Corset told her.
"What I'm trying to say is that we believe Danny Fenton is holding far too much power back in his fights. I know he's a hero in his old town, but they abandoned him. His friends? Betray him. His parents? Disown him. And yet, he chooses to fight for the side of good." Corset said.
"What does that have to do with me?" Steve asked.
"Oh, I know you hate him for stealing your love. A true pity, really. However, I have a job for you, if you want it." Corset said.
"A job?" Steve asked, confused.
"Yes, I've been looking for some bodyguards to keep up the act of being the city's mayor, but all the ones I have found were idiots or too weak to do a simple job. But you? You have a good head on your shoulders and you look to stay in shape. Fine traits for a bodyguard." Corset told him.
"By are you a demon? Why would you need a bodyguard?" Steve asked.
"I never said you'll be my bodyguard," Corset said, looking at the Daemon Sisters.
"Us? By sir, we don't need a bodyguard," Scanty said.
"That's the plan. The others will never know what hit them until you make your move." Corset said.
"Even if that's true, Steve is still human. He wouldn't last against the angels or Danny." Kneesocks said.
"Fair points. But who said Steven had to be human?" Corset told him.
"What?" Steve asked, just as surprised as the sisters.
"Do you know the old saying fight fire with fire?" Corset asked, smirking.
He then walked over to his desk and summon a ghost to his side. Before it could react, Corset grabs it before turning back to Steve. Before anyone could do a thing, Corset stuffed the ghost into Steve's body and use a bit of his powers to forcibly fuse the two together.
Steve screams as his DNA was forcibly rewritten, causing his body to change. It turned black with the red-orange cracks that were normally seen on the ghost from hell. However, Steve's face didn't change that much, his blue eyes turned red as his blonde hair did the same, though it did look like it was on fire.
Finally, Steve fell to the ground. The pain was so great he change back to his human form and Corset smirked.
"Now the playing field is leveled." He said, looking at the sisters.
"You two better take care of him. And if you treat him poorly, you know what will happen." He told them.
"Yes, Sir." The sisters said.
Corset nods as Kneesocks walked over and picked Steve up. They soon left the room with Corset smirking to himself.
One hour later,
Steve growls as he opened his eyes. He felt very strange and his chest hurt like hell.
"Well, look who woke up?"
Steve turns and saw Scanty and Kneesocks not far from him, drinking some tea.
"What happened?" He asked, still feeling strange.
"Corset force a ghost inside you and fuse you together. You're now a half-human/half-ghost hybrid like Danny." Kneesocks told him.
"Did it have to hurt?" Steve asked, grabbing his chest.
"No one said about it being painless," Scanty said.
"Other than that, how do you feel?" Kneesocks asked.
"I felt like I just had hell go through me if you catch my meaning," Steve said.
"Even if it did, It would hurt way more than that," Scanty said.
"Still, this still hurts," Steve said, taking off his shirt.
Both sisters were surprised to see how much muscle he had on him. He kept himself in shape, but his muscles weren't overly big. But Steve was looking at the big glowing spot on his chest. It seems to be pulsing, much like a beating heart.
"Oh man, if Mom and Dad see this, they're going to freak," Steve said, carefully touching it.
"They won't," Scanty said, getting up.
She places her hand on the spot and uses a bit of her power to make the glow fade away. Scanty steps back as Steve checks his chest again.
"Um, thanks?" He said.
Scanty scoff and rolled her eyes. Kneesocks then stood before handing Steve a suit.
"Put these on, they were made to help you control your powers." She said.
"Um, is there a bathroom I can use?" Steve asked, taking the suit.
"Down the hall, second door to the right," Scanty said.
Steve nods before leaving. Once he was gone, Scanty and Kneesocks looked at each other.
"Is Corset mad?! Forcing a ghost and a human into a single person?!" Scanty asked.
"I know he had many crazy plans, but this one takes the cake," Kneesock said, shaking her head.
"If the boss finds out about this, it won't be pretty," Scanty said.
"But we need Steve for our plan. So we need to put up with it." Kneesock said before seeing Steve returning.
"Did I put this one right? I never wore a suit before." He asked.
Kneesock walked over and looked him over. So far, everything seems to be fine until she notices his tie.
"Don't move." She said, tieing it for him.
"Um, thanks," Steve said, looking at her.
Kneesocks looked back at him, staring into his eyes.
"You're welcome." She said, turning away.
"So, what should do next? Help Steve learn his powers?" Scanty asked.
"Actually, we need to talk to my parents. I need to let them know about my new job of being a bodyguard." Steve told them.
"Fair enough," Kneesock said, pulling out her phone.
"Get the G-String ready." She said.
"Fastener!"
She hang up and looked at Steve.
"We leave in five." She said.
Steve sighs, hoping his parents would take this lightly.
Later,
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" His mother shouted once he told her about his new job.
"Mom..."Steve started.
"I was fine with my son meeting the mayor, but I don't want him working for him!" Mrs. Boxer shouted.
"He already signed the papers and agreed to it, Mrs. Boxer," Scanty said, shaking her head.
"And he's being paid handsomely for it," Kneesock said, sighing.
Steve did warn them that his mother was not the time of person that had a lot of love for the government. She's been like that since she was a little girl. Strange enough, his father once worked for the government until he chose to step down to take care of him.
"I don't care if he's being paid! My son is not working for any government as long as I live." Mrs. Boxer shouted.
"And what about Dad?! He worked for the government and you still dated and married him?" Steve asked his mother.
"Your father was different! He at least understood my feelings. He never let his government life interfere with my life." Mrs. Boxer said.
"And you NEVER agreed to work with any type of government!" She added, reaching for his suit.
"This is my LIFE, Mother! Why can you see that?! Even since I turn ten, you have been trying to turn me into you! You don't even care that I'm trying to win a girl over because the government is controlling my actions! I was offered the job and I agreed to it." Steve told her.
'Though, not willy.' He added in thought.
"Steven Mellow Boxer, you take that suit off right now or I'll..."
"SHUT UP, YOU BICTH!" Steve shouted, tired of his mother's anti-government ways.
"What do you say?" His mother asked, surprised.
"I had it with you and your complaints about things in life. I don't care we came from a long line of anti-government families. Most of them think destroying said the government will free us! But that's not true! We need the government to have our freedom! And you would never let me have mine!" Steve shouted.
"I'm your mother, you will listen to me." Mrs. Boxer said.
"That's quite enough."
Everyone turns and saw Mr. Boxer step into the room, having heard everything that was said.
"Honey, I told you about this. Just because your mother made you into want she wanted doesn't mean you have to do the same to our son. I work for the government, I know it's not all bad. I step down because I didn't want my job to keep me away from my son. If Steve wants to work for the mayor, then that's his choice, not yours." Mr. Boxer told his wife.
"What?!" Mrs. Boxer said.
"What will be Steve's job?" Mr. Boxer asked.
"Our bodyguard," Kneesock said.
"Ah, yes. I know that job well. Had many of those during my job. Steve, you better make sure those two are safe from all threats. It won't be easy. but I trust you'll do a fine job." Mr. Boxer said.
"Thanks, Dad," Steve said, still unsure about it though.
"And can you two please watch over our son as well? I know the first few days will be rough on him and he's going to need all the help he can get." Mr. Boxer asked the Daemon sisters.
"We can't make any promises, but we'll try," Kneesocks said.
"Good enough." Mr. Boxer said.
"Dear!" Mrs. Boxer said.
"I didn't marry you because you're anti-government. I didn't quit my job to turn our son into something he's not. Steve is growing up. Let go of the past." Mr. Boxer said, shaking his head.
"But-But-But..." Mrs. Boxer tried to say.
"That's was something," Scanty said, once they left.
"Told you," Steve said, shaking his head.
"Well, at least that's out of the way now," Kneesock said, sighing.
The three got into G-String and started to head back to the mayor's office.
"Mind if I turn on the radio? I need something to get my mind off my mother." Steve asked them.
"Knock yourself out." The sisters said.
Steve turned on the radio, and soon a report came in.
"And it appears that problem has been solved once again, thanks to Ghost Hero, Danny Phantom. After two months of being kicked out of his hometown, Daten City is glad to have the ghost hero live in Daten City, dealing with the many ghost attacks. If you're listening, Danny Phantom. Thank you for everything you've done for our City."
Steve growls at the name. He didn't mind Danny saving the day or stopping the ghost attacks. If he wanted to be a hero, that was fine. No, he only hated him for stealing Stocking away. Well, once he masters these powers, he's going to show him what happens when he takes away something that belongs to him.
Scanty and Kneesocks notice and smirk. So far, everything was coming together.
And done. So, Steve got his powers, though not painless. And pretty much agree to work with the Daemon Sisters, somewhat. I even brought in Steve's parents. Surprised that Steve's parents are the complete opposite of each other? Though Mrs. Boxer doesn't want her son to work for any kind of government work, she does love her son. Mr. Boxer is fine with it, due to working with the government for a few years. Sounds like a relationship that shouldn't work, right?
Anyways, the next chapter will have Steve train in using his new powers and maybe his first fight against Danny. Also, to remain everyone what Steve looks like, though I mention this back in the end notes of the first chapter of Panty and Stocking with Danny Phantom, Steve has blonde hair and blue eyes. He wears the same suit as the Daemon sisters. The thing I didn't add was this, Steven is only 15 at the time of the story. So, he's a bit older than Danny, who was around 15 when he was kicked out. Just before his 15th birthday to be a bit more clear.
