After stepping through the portal, the rescue team found themselves not in the Brazilian rainforest anymore, but in the middle of what looked like a suburb town. They all quickly realized they were in Max and Pistol's hometown of Spoonerville. More precisely, they were in the roundabout that was Spoonerville's downtown, with various shops and businesses all around. The place looked exactly the same as when Max and Pistol left with their families. Except for one detail.
"Where's everybody?" Pistol asked. "There's not a single person in sight - it almost looks like we're in a ghost town."
"Hello?! Anybody there?!" Max called, only to receive no answer. "Strange..."
"So this is the place where you guys've grown up?" Silver asked, stepping forward and looking everywhere with his hands on his hips. "Was it always so calm and silent?"
"Not at all. Believe me, from watching Goof Troop, I know that this place is supposed to be anything but calm and silent," Logan confirmed. "Something's definitely up. We should split up and find where Nigel escaped to-" Before being able to finish his sentence, the young boy found himself surrounded by another wave of Heartless. "... Unless the problem directly comes to us."
Nigel stepped forward, glaring at the group. "You're already here? What deception; I thought I had sent enough Heartless after you to keep your little heads busy for at least one hour."
"Sure, but we had a little assistance to fix the problem faster," Staghart said, pointing at Max and Pistol. "Now, if you don't wanna end like your little Heartless friends, I suggest you release the princesses and get out of this town!"
"I'm afraid this won't be possible, deer head. Not when I worked so hard to get where I am." The cockatoo stepped aside to reveal three strange cells made of darkness behind him. They were all occupied: Aurora and Jewel were asleep in two of them. The third sleeping figure, however, was someone the group hadn't seen a single while chasing Nigel. Giving a deeper look, they saw an anthropomorphic dog, like Max and Pistol, with tan-colored skin and a brown nose. She had long wavy red hair, and wore a short-sleeved teal T-shirt alongside navy-blue jean shorts.
It took no time for Max and Pistol to recognize her. "Roxanne!"
"Oh, you know this young lady?"
"You bet I do; she's my girlfriend!" Max exclaimed, his face turning red. "Let her go right now!"
"Not a chance; you know how many princesses are this easy to capture? Just a little slip through her window, a punch on top of her father's skull, a little sleep powder, and the job is done," Nigel mused. "Try to look at things this way, kid: your girl's beauty's gonna become part of mine once everything's done. You'll just have to stare at me if you ever miss her."
"Are you sick in the head, Nigel?!" Blu asked as he stepped forward. "This is taking things too far! Look, I understand that something terrible has happened to you, and you want to fix it, but sacrificing people isn't the solution! Think of all the lives that will be affected by your actions!"
Nigel's glare burned fire at the Spix's macaw. "Shut up, blue boy! You think you understand me?! You have no idea what it's like to devote your life to a cause, be admired by an entire country, and then have all of it snatched away from you within seconds just because a stupid parret's prettier than you! Even your beloved mate is one of the most beautiful birds I've ever seen in my life! I don't give a cracker about how many people cry; once I regain my beauty, everybody will admire and love me again!"
Darkness surrounded the cockatoo, slowly taking form... A huge form. Soon, at his place stood a behemoth-like creature on four legs. It had two gigantic tusks and wings alongside the Heartless symbol on its chest. Seven weird purple orbs of darkness were spread across its body and seemed to pulsate.
"Guess time for talking's over," Logan remarked as he summoned his Fenrir Keyblade. "Let's kick those Heartless butts!"
The battle started. Silver rode on Staghart's back, shooting jets of paint at the Heartless, whilst the Gargoyle swung at every enemy in his way with his sword. Max immediately hopped onto his skateboard, darting across the entire battlefield to take down as many Heartless as he could with his shield. Pistol remained with Blu to protect him, shooting lasers at the monsters who were too busy trying to take out the power trio of Logan, Silver and Staghart to pay attention to her and the macaw. Speaking of which, Logan cut through all the monsters in his way like cheesecake, his Keyblade training paying off.
Of course, Behemoth Nigel wasn't just going to stand there and watch. Pushing an ear-piercing roar, the creature stood on its hind legs, rising the front ones high in the air before slamming them with force on the ground. The impact created a shockwave that knocked back all seven heroes many feet away.
"Cheese and crackers, Behemoth Heartless have always been some of my least favorite KH bosses!" Logan groaned as he got back on his feet. The gargantuan monster didn't stop there and opened its mouth wide to shoot a storm of darkness. This made Logan turn towards his co-Dream Defender. "Silver! Let's push him back!"
Giving him a thumb's up, Silver rose his Magic Paintbrush and shot a jet of fire, whilst Logan used his Fenrir Keyblade to send a Blizzard spell. The two attacks combined to create a tornado of fire and ice. "Frozen Fire Tornado!" they yelled in unison. Their elemental attack collided with the wave of darkness, pushing it back after a little struggle.
The rescue team fought with determination and vigor, Silver and Staghart fueled by their desire to rescue their beloved princess, Max and Pistol by their desire to save Roxanne, and Logan by his willingness to save everybody. However, they weren't the only ones; Blu also wanted to rescue the love of his life and return home to their children with her. Unable to stand back any longer, he opened his wings and darted into a straight line towards the three unconscious Princesses of Heart.
"Blu! Wait!" Logan called. But it was too late as the Spix's macaw was smacked back by an Aerial Master Heartless. The Dream Defender quickly rushed at his side. "Blu, stay back. Those guys are too strong for you - you could get killed."
"I don't... care...," Blu weakly groaned as he struggled back to his feet. "No way I'm staying back whilst Jewel's life is on the line!" He once again took off, refusing to stay down. This time, Behemoth Nigel was the one to stop him by smacking the poor bird with one of his giant wings, sending him flying back. Thankfully, Pistol managed to catch him in her arms before he could crash into anything.
"Pistol, make sure he stays down and doesn't get hurt again," Logan instructed with a frown. "I know he wants to help, but getting himself killed isn't going to help anybody."
Silver took down a few Shadows with the bo staff he turned his Magic Paintbrush into. "Any idea how we can take that kaiju down, Logan?"
"Somehow, I feel like it's about those strange orbs of darkness over his body," Logan explained. "I remember that one of the bosses from the first Kingdom Hearts game, Oogie Boogie, had similar ones over his body, and that Sora had to destroy them to defeat him. Maybe we have to do the same thing here."
Testing his theory, the young man darted his way across the Heartless, jumping up on Behemoth Nigel, and then planted his Fenrir Keyblade into one of the pulsating orbs, deflating it. He grinned and threw a fist in the air. However, the joy was short-lived, as the orb inflated itself almost instantly.
"What?!" Logan exclaimed in shock before getting knocked off the giant and back to the ground. "I-I don't understand! Why didn't it work?"
"Maybe we have to destroy all of them at once so that they can't regenerate!" Max suggested as he smacked a Soldier down.
Silver rubbed his chin. "That could work. But how are we gonna destroy all seven orbs in one go? There's only five of us."
Logan realized it was true. With many Heartless approaching his group and Behemoth Nigel looming over them, the young man sweated nervously, defiantly rising his Keyblade. How was he going to get them out of this situation? Before he had to start swinging his weapon again, a lime-green flash passed over his shoulder after what sounded like a growl. He blinked his eyes in confusion. Why was one of the Heartless down on the ground with a wolf made of lime-green magic biting it down? And why did a whole pack come out of nowhere, jumping on the entire wave of darkness creatures?
As if that wasn't strange enough, a figure dashed across the air, cutting Behemoth Nigel on his legs and forcing him to kneel down. It then landed in front of Logan, the young boy giving him a confused expression. "Man, you sure became a lot stronger since I last saw you, Logan!" The figure finally stood up, revealing itself to be the anthropomorphic peregrine falcon who tried to catch up with Logan's group for the last two chapters. He was holding a double-bladed sword in his wing.
Logan widened his eyes as far as they could go. For many seconds, not a single word was exchanged, silence reigning as the wind blew between the two young men. Then, after an eternity, Logan managed to mumble words: "... T-Tomada...?!"
"In the flesh, bones and feathers," the falcon named Tomada confirmed with a wink, giving a big smile to the Dream Defender.
A few more seconds of silence passed before a giant smile formed on Logan's face, the young man rushing to catch Tomada into a big hug, which the avian gladly returned. The two of them practically span with each other in joy, failing to see the others giving them odd looks. At least, they understood they had a new ally in their fight. When the hug ended, Logan looked at the falcon whilst holding his wings.
"Tomada, I can't believe it! W-What are you doing here?!" he asked.
"Eh, eh, that's a long story," Tomada chuckled. "You see, a few years ago-"
ROAR!
Behemoth Nigel's roar interrupted the falcon before he could go on with his explanation. "... On second thought, maybe we should wait to be in a calmer place before I tell you everything. Judging by that symbol on its chest, would I be correct to say this guy's a Heartless from Kingdom Hearts?"
"Yeah, that would be right," Logan confirmed. "But not any Heartless; it's actually Nigel from Rio; he's been overcome by the darkness, and we need to destroy those seven darkness orbs at the same time to defeat him. Otherwise, he's gonna sacrifice Jewel, Princess Aurora and Roxanne from A Goofy Movie," he quickly explained.
"Oh, that sounds quite terrible, alright. In that case, we need to act now." Grinning, he curled his wing into a fist and held it toward Logan. "Ready to go, my Best Owl Buddy?"
Returning the grin, Logan touched Tomada's fist with his own. "Whenever you are, Best Falcon Buddy!" He turned toward the rest of the team. "Alright, guys, no more holding back: let's charge with all we've got and take out those Heartless once and for all!"
The group charged forward, taking out every Heartless in their path. Logan and Tomada showcased an impressive teamwork, cutting down all their enemies whilst protecting each other's backs. At one point, a trio of Fat Bandits blocked their way, so Tomada pressed his wings together with his eyes closed, and, upon opening them again, they were glowing with green light. Two giant bears made of lime-green magic appeared at the falcon's sides and took out the Fat Bandits.
It was now time to take on the big boss himself. Thanks to their bigger number, the team could take out the darkness orbs faster than before. However, the other Heartless were still posing a problem as they would always get in the group's way whenever they attempted to destroy the orbs, stopping them from taking all seven of them out at once.
Blu watched the scene unfold before his eyes with a frown. Pistol had pulled him down against a building far from everything to stay safe whilst Logan and Tomada led the charge. He closed his eyes, his wings trembling at his situation. "That's not fair! Jewel's in harm's way, and all I can do is watch while the others are putting their lives on the line to save her! If only I had a weapon or some sort of power, I could actually help instead of being like the flightless bird I was before!"
With the rage and determination burning inside his heart, Blu tightened his wings into fists. This made him fail to notice a strong light glowing in front of him. The others, however, did take notice of it. Logan, Silver, and Max seemed particularly surprised. "B-Blu...," Logan mumbled in surprise.
The Spix's macaw opened his eyes and realized an object had appeared in his grip. A Keyblade. Its shaft was shaped like an R, the handle being in its very middle. The blade itself looked like a Spix's macaw wing - kinda like how Riku's Soul Eater Keyblade looked like a bat wing - and the keychain dangling from the bottom end looked like the chain that bound Blu and Jewel together in the first Rio movie.
"W-What's this?" Blu asked, confusingly looking at the object from every angle.
"Blu! That's a Keyblade!" Logan yelled at him. "It's the same item I'm using at this very moment! Come on, get here and help us beat those Heartless!"
Realizing he could finally help, the Spix's macaw once again charged into the battlefield. While not as experienced as other Wielders like Logan or Sora, Blu's acrobatic talents allowed him to flip across the zone without getting hit - he even got to take down a few Shadow Heartless on his way. Behemoth Nigel tried to take out his enemies, but they all avoided his attacks and got in position.
"NOW!" Logan yelled and planted his Fenrir Keyblade into one of the dark orbs. At the very same time, Silver sent a jet of paint at the second orb, Staghart pierced the third one with his sword, Max smacked the fourth one with his shield, Pistol shot laser blasts at the fifth one, Tomada slashed the sixth one with his double-bladed sword, and Blu tossed his whole new Keyblade into the seventh and final one.
Behemoth Nigel roared as all of its darkness orbs were destroyed at once. Dark energy left its body until the imposing form disappeared, leaving only Nigel lying on the ground. All the Heartless left, as well as the dark cells holding the three princesses. Silver, Staghart, Max, Pistol, and Blu all rushed at their side.
"Princess, you're alright?" Silver worriedly asked Princess Aurora as he held her in his arms.
She groaned and fluttered her eyes before looking at two of her saviors. "Silver... Staghart...? What happened? All I remember is taking an injured cockatoo in and-"
"Yeah, that's a long story," the Gargoyle said with rubbing the back of his head. "But don't worry; you're safe now."
Roxanne's eyes opened as she found herself in her boyfriend's arms. "M-Max? Is that you?"
"Yup. Your beloved knight himself," Max confirmed as Roxanne kissed him on the cheek.
Blu clutched his dear Jewel close to him. "Jewel? Jewel, please, be alright," he begged.
The female macaw soon returned to the world of the living. "B-Blu?" She looked all around her. "Are we still in Rio?"
"Not exactly; we kinda traveled to another world. Oh, and I got a new power," Blu explained with showing his Keyblade.
Whilst their friends were taking care of the three princesses, Logan and Tomada approached the defeated figure of Nigel. The falcon shook his head while clicking his tongue. "I would've thought that after so much time, Nigel would've eased down on the whole revenge thing. Guess some people just never change..."
"I wouldn't say that," Logan said, pointing to the cockatoo who was... sobbing? He looked at the ground in rage while struggling to keep the tears in.
"That's not fair...," he mumbled. "Becoming part of the Magical World was supposed to be my chance at returning to the way things used to be. Why can everybody have their dream come true except for me...?"
"That's not really the point here, Nigel," Logan said as he approached the cockatoo and kneeled down next to him. "I think that, in your mind, being loved depends on one's beauty. But that's not the case. I know it sounds cliché, but people are supposed to be loved for their personality - for who they are on the inside. Their 'inner beauty', if you prefer."
"And what exactly do you know about that?" Nigel bitterly asked.
Logan chuckled at this and pointed at his face. "Buddy, Destiny didn't fall in love with me for my appearance; I got the face of a retired athlete trying to look cool with his beard."
Tomada curiously blinked his eyes at this. "What are you talking about? You have an adorable face, Logan."
"Not now, Tom. My point is, I think you could make a great friend, Nigel. Unfortunately, your time as a movie superstar got to your head and made you believe only beautiful people would get loved in this world. But love and friendship come from being yourself and opening up to other people. That way, you can form bonds and truly forge love and friendship," Logan explained.
Nigel stared silently at Logan for many seconds before looking at the ground. "It doesn't really matter anymore. Even if I were to start acting nicely now, everybody will still hate me for all the things I did."
"This might be true, but not forever," Blu said as he came up alongside Jewel. "It's certain that I don't particularly appreciate you kidnapping my friends and I, trying to sale us and even trying to kill me, but even after all of that, I somehow knew you had some good in you. You might find it hard to believe, but I know what it's like to be an outcast among birds."
This statement made the cockatoo look at him in surprise. "But... you have a beautiful and flashy physique."
"Maybe, but the other birds in Moose Lake didn't accept me as one of them for more; they hated me for being domesticated and living with a human companion. In fact, even Jewel hated me for it when we first met." This comment caused Jewel to nervously look away in shame. "However, when I showed my bravery and willingness to die for her, we ended up coming together as a couple. I've made plenty of friends ever since; there's no reason it wouldn't work for you, too."
"I always thought the two of you only became mates because you were the last of your kind," Nigel admitted.
"Nope; they became mates because they accepted each other for who they are. I know you're in a dark place right now, and you feel like nobody will ever accept you for who you are - trust me, I'm all too familiar with this feeling. But I met people who held their hands out to me because they wanted to pull me out of the dark and back into the light. I'll always be thankful to them for it. And right now, other people are willing to do the same for you." Logan held his hand to Nigel with a smile. "What do you say?"
The cockatoo stared at Logan's face and hand alternately... before reaching his wing to accept his hand, the human pulling him back on his feet. "Thanks...," he mumbled, wiping his tears away with a wing. He turned to look at the others. "Sorry for all the trouble I've caused you. I was so angry at the world for rejecting me that I allowed it to blind me..."
"It's okay, Nigel," Blu assured, putting a wing on the cockatoo's shoulder. "Nobody's perfect."
"But don't go thinking we're just going to forget everything you've done like that," Jewel warned with crossing her wings and glaring at Nigel. "You've tried to capture and kill us so many times I stopped counting."
"Pulling an attempt against a Disney Princess is a crime we can't just overlook. We're gonna have to bring you back with us to Disney Castle," Max explained, Pistol nodding in agreement.
"However, you seem sincere about wanting to change, so maybe I can convince everybody to be clement with you," Princess Aurora said.
"Great, I have to suffer again," Nigel mumbled to himself.
Logan chuckled and patted him on the shoulder. "Yeah, unfortunately, the path of redemption isn't just all fun and games. But trust me, it's worth it."
Max and Pistol seized the cockatoo and left for Disney Castle through a portal after Max got to say goodbye to his girlfriend. "Thanks for your help, guys," Jewel grateful told the group of Dream Defenders.
"No probs, Jewel." Logan placed his hands behind his head. "Nigel always had good within him; I just reached my hand to bring him back on the good side. Can't promise Aline won't want to cut him down for capturing her idol, though." Silver cleared his throat, making Logan look at him. "What?"
"Don't you have some introductions to do?" Silver asked, giving a pointing look in Tomada's direction.
"Oh, right." Logan went to wrap a hand round the falcon's shoulders. "Guys, I present to you Tomada, one of the closest friends I've made before coming to the Magical World. Tom, this is Silver and Staghart, two of the friends I made during my time here."
"Nice to meet you, Tomada," Silver said, shaking the falcon's wing. "You were pretty good with that double sword back there."
"Thanks. And you were awesome with that paintbrush, too," Tomada returned the compliment. "It's a magic tool, right?"
"Yup; I can paint and summon anything I want with it - even animals or clothes. I can even create portals to go anywhere I want."
"Really? That's so cool!" Tomada then turned toward Staghart. "Are you an angel?"
He chuckled a bit with a blush. "It's the second time I've been asked that today. But to answer your question, no; I'm actually a Gargoyle."
Tomada blinked his eyes in confusion. "A Gargoyle? You look like an angel." This comment made Staghart blush even more. "Have you guys known Logan for a long time?"
"You can say that," Silver confirmed. "We're part of the same group: the Dream Defenders."
"The Dream Defenders? What's that?"
"That's a long story," Silver admitted with rubbing the back of his head.
"That's cool; would you mind telling me all of it around a good dinner?"
"Actually, Staghart and I were gonna return to Rio de Janeiro to enjoy the romantic atmosphere," Silver replied, taking his boyfriend's hand. "Besides, I'm certain that you and Logan have hundreds of things to catch up on."
The falcon once again blinked his eyes. "Enjoying the romantic atmosphere...? Oh, okay!" he exclaimed, finally understanding the situation. "Alright, fine by me. Hope we'll get to know each other better one of these days."
Tracing a circle with his Magic Paintbrush, Silver created a portal that he and Staghart crossed to return to the City of Wonders. This left Logan alone with his three avian friends. "Come on, Blu, let's return home to our children," Jewel said. "What's that thing you're carrying there?"
"Oh, it's called a Keyblade," Blu replied with showing the item to his mate. "What's a Keyblade? ... I have no idea."
"Don't worry," Logan mused. "After going to your nest and letting your children know you're safe, we're gonna make a little trip to Master Yen Sid's Mysterious Tower so that my teachers can inform you on the situation."
"A-Are you kidding me?! I really inherited such power?!" Blu exclaimed, his mind turned upside down by the explanation given to him by Riku. He looked down at his Keyblade. "I... Why did this artifact choose me, of all people?"
Riku shrugged while casually resting against a wall. "No idea. Keyblades have a strange nature that lets only their chosen ones wield them. It's not clear what factors are required to be a Keyblade Wielder, but the one that is clear is the need of a strong heart. This is probably why this Keyblade came to you." He stepped forward and gave a good look at Blu's weapon. "Speaking of which, I don't think I've ever seen a Keyblade like this before. How are you gonna call it?"
"I have to... name it?" Blu asked. He looked down at his Keyblade in silence for a few seconds. "I'm not sure; can I get some time to think about it?"
"Sure, take your time."
Logan stepped forward. "So, Riku, d'you think you, Sora, Kairi, or Master Yen Sid could help Blu with his Keyblade training, just like you did with me?"
"Actually, I had another idea in mind," Riku said, kneeling down to Blu and Jewel's level. "You said your specialty was speed and acrobatic prowess, right, Blu? I just so happen to have a friend who's looking for pupils and is also an expert in a peculiar Keyblade style that revolves around speed. Can you come back here tomorrow? I'll introduce you to him."
"A expert in speed?" Logan asked. "Who are you talking about, Riku? Do I know him?"
"Maybe. Does the name 'Ventus' ring any bell?"
Hearing this name, Logan's eyes widened. "V-Ventus?! From the Birth By Sleep trio?!" He grabbed Blu's wings. "My gosh, Blu, you're so lucky! You're gonna learn the art of Keyblade Wielding from one of the most underrated Kingdom Hearts heroes!"
"Really? Glad to hear it. But for the moment, we just lived a scary and hectic day, so Jewel and I would like to return home and spend a calm evening with our children," Blu explained, wrapping a wing around his mate who kissed his cheek.
After dropping Blu and Jewel back to their home, Logan and Tomada walked all the way back to Animal Kingdom, talking about everything that happened since their last encounter along the way.
"So let me sum it up," Tomada said, "you took part in a competition show, got selected as Master Yen Sid's apprentice, learned to create objects and animals with your sketchbook, took part in a tournament, saved the Magical World from a crazy robot, learned to swing a giant sword, became a Keyblade Wielder, and are now part of a group of people who do everything they can to help people around the Magical World and keep it safe?"
"Long story short, yes," Logan confirmed. "I also became a pro wrestling teacher - the first ever in the Magical World. Just look at all the good it did to me." He showed his solid biceps and even lifted his shirt to reveal his strong torso.
"Wow, it did you a lot of good, alright!" Tomada exclaimed, reaching a wing to pat his friend's abdomen. "You don't look like the skinny guy you were back in the Real World anymore."
"Hey!" Logan exclaimed, giving a teasing push to his avian friend. "What about you? How did you learn to swing a sword and summon animals out of magic like this?"
"You remember I told you that my father had Native American origins? Well, a few years ago, he sent me to live with my uncle, who was still very much into our original culture. The people of the tribe taught me many things, noticeably how to use different weapons such as; a double-bladed sword, a mace, a crossbow, a tomahawk, and a spear. However, the most important thing I learned was from my uncle; he's a shaman."
"A shaman? Like those people who can talk to spirits and other supernatural stuff?" Logan asked.
"Exactly. He taught me how to clear my spirit and connect myself to the Astral Plane to call spirits for help. That's how I was able to summon those animal spirits during our fight," Tomada explained. "When my training with my uncle and his tribe was done, he said it was time for me to leave and go venture into the world. The thing is, I didn't really know what to do - I didn't have a job or peculiar profession I wanted to do. That's when I remembered all those times you talked to me about your dream of traveling to the Magical World and getting a job at Disney's studios; it convinced me to travel here as well, try to enjoy life here, and see if I could meet my favorite characters." He placed his wings behind his head. "You know, before arriving, I was half-expecting to see you into an anthropomorphic owl, seeing as you like them so much."
Logan chuckled. "Yeah, as much as I like owls, it's still good to be in my good old human form. Seems like you like falcons more than I do owls."
"Of course." Tomada performed a spin on himself. "I had the chance to become my favorite type of bird in the same form as animals in my favorite cartoons; no way I was gonna let that pass."
With a nod, Logan looked up at the orange sky. One of his old friends had returned into his life, now a warrior and a shaman as well. Nothing could have made the young Dream Defender feel happier at this moment. "Wanna go grab some dinner at one of the local restaurants and then head over to my place? You're welcome to stay with me for the night."
"Oh, good; it would've been hard to buy a hotel room at this hour. Thanks, my Best Owl Buddy," Tomada gratefully said with giving a side hug to Logan.
"If you want, I can introduce you to all my friends tomorrow. I'll even present you to my girlfriend."
"WHAT?!" The falcon's eyes widened as far as they could go. "You have a girlfriend?! How come you never told me?!"
"Because you never asked."
"This is fantastic! Of course, I wanna meet her! Who is she? No, wait, don't tell me; I'm sure it's gotta be a beautiful owl girl or something."
Logan did everything he could to suppress his desire to laugh. How would his friend react upon seeing that his girlfriend was one of his favorite Pixar characters?
Author's note: That's the end of this three-part story, hope you all enjoyed it! Aurora, Jewel, and Roxanne are safe, and Nigel has switched to the good side. However, he will still have to answer for his crimes in front of Disney Castle (and potentially Aline).
That mysterious falcon who looked for Logan since the last chapters was none other than Tomada, an OC of Tomada The Falcon, one of my oldest friends on this site. One of the things I enjoy the most about writing this story is that it allows me to have fun with my friends. Therefore, I decided to send an invitation to a few of them, including Tomada The Falcon, seeing as he likes Finding Nemo/Dory as much as I do and The Aristocats as much as Aline. I'm sure you're gonna have lots of fun here, Falcon Buddy!
Blu becoming a Keyblade Wielder is an idea that existed in my mind for longer than you think. See, many months ago, I was writing a fanfic called 'Wings of the Heart', where Blu becomes a Keyblade Wielder and ventures across various worlds from various franchises to help people. Ultimately, I decided to cancel this story as I ran out of ideas, motivation, and time to write three stories at once. But I didn't want the few ideas I had to just disappear, so decided to carry some of them over to this story. As for his mentor, I hesitated for a bit because Sora, Riku and Yen Sid already had pupils in this story - Yen Sid the most. I chose to go for a change and give Ventus from Birth By Sleep to serve as Blu's teacher, the main reason being that Ventus has a style based on speed and agility, one of Blu's main skills. Also, because I just ADORE Birth By Sleep.
Next time: Logan receives news of a very interesting competition.
