It was the day that Esmeralda would meet with Yhwach to give him her answer. She was nervous beyond belief, but Bradley told her not to show any fear. She wore a long light olive green dress with some flower designs, golden brown low heels, light brown feather earrings, and a small bracelet.

Yhwach called her, telling her that he was on his way.

Esmeralda has a purse on her right shoulder. Inside was a small microphone that Bradley had implanted. On a dark blue Lexus were Ace, Sosuke, and Bradley. Bradley held a giant microphone where he and his nephews could hear what was happening. Also, Bradley put a tracking device to show them where Esmeralda would be going.

Sosuke had a hunch that Yhwach would try to take her elsewhere since his home would have been an obvious choice.

Esmeralda stood outside the hotel until she saw Yhwach's car from afar. He arrived. Yhwach wore a long white buttoned shirt with a couple of buttons undone. He also wore dressy black slacks and shoes. His hair was nicely combed. Yhwach looked at Esmeralda and smiled. "Good afternoon, my dear. You look lovely in that dress."

The young woman let out a small smile. "Th-Thank you, Mr. Yhwach."

Yhwach opened the car door for her, motioning her to enter, which she did so. He drove off. Ace drove in the distance to ensure they wouldn't be seen. The three men were tense, not knowing what would happen. "Make sure not to lose them, Ace," said Sosuke.

"I know yer nervous, cuz, but don't doubt my skills. I have to make sure that we're not seen."

"Calm yourself, Sosuke. Remember, we have the tracking device so that we won't lose her. Just be calm," said Bradley.

Sosuke sat silently as his eyes were on the road. Then, all three men heard talking from the microphone.

...

Yhwach made a few turns; Esmeralda noticed they were going in a different direction from his home. "So, where are we going?"

"We're going to one of my other homes. After Ace and Sosuke came by, I wanted a change of scenery. By the way, you didn't inform them of your whereabouts, did you?"

"No, Mr. Yhwach, but I hate lying to Sosuke. He did so much for me; the only thing he's getting in return is lies." Esmeralda lied, especially since he and the others were hearing the conversation, but she had to be convincing.

Yhwach squeezed his car wheel. He hated that Esmeralda spoke about Sosuke with such fondness. However, he didn't say anything until he made a left turn which led to a private area that led to one of his homes. A large gate opened, letting them both inside, and then closed. This concerned the young woman; she didn't know how Sosuke and the others would get over the gate. All she could do was pray.

Ace made it to Yhwach's home but parked where his car wouldn't be seen. To their luck, many trees and bushes helped them hide. All three got out of the car and got to the gate but kept out of sight. "I knew that he would do this," said Sosuke.

"My brother always thinks ahead, but we must keep our distance." Bradley noticed the worried look on his nephew's face. He couldn't blame him, Bradley, too, was concerned, but with all three of them close to Esmeralda, then things would be alright.

...

Esmeralda entered the house, which was as beautiful as Yhwach's last house. There were many paintings, sculptures, and the usual household items. However, Esmeralda noticed there weren't pictures of himself or his family. She believed that Yhwach saw himself as an outcast, not belonging to his family. After knowing Yhwach's past made sense, he could still try to make peace with his brothers and children. Yhwach led her to the dining room, where plates of food were on display.

Yhwach ordered his chef to prepare the meal to perfection. "I hope you don't mind, but I asked for simple food."

"Not at all; anything is good as long it's food."

Both sat on their seats and began to eat their parmesan chicken and spaghetti. Yhwach could tell that Esmeralda wasn't looking too much at him, and whenever he tried to make a conversation, she would give him small sentence responses. He knew something was wrong but waited to ask after they finished their lunch.

Once finished, Yhwach led her to the living room; both sat opposite but were close. Esmeralda felt her heart beating rapidly as she looked at Yhwach. "Mr. Yhwach, I know you took me here to get my answer about your job proposal."

"Of course, but I also wanted to enjoy your company. You are quite the conversationalist; I believe you would make a fantastic secretary. You will be paid a good wage and will have great benefits."

Esmeralda squeezed her purse. "Before I give you my answer, why me? I don't have experience in the field; other people are more qualified than I am."

Yhwach raised an eyebrow. "You are determined to get the work done and act professionally."

"Is that all, Mr. Yhwach? I can tell there is more that you're not telling me." The young woman noticed that Yhwach sat upright; his face became more serious. She didn't know why she was doing this but felt she had to. "I didn't want to admit this to myself, but I observed how you spoke and looked at me. I've seen it too many times from men, especially when I dance, which is why I came to my decision. Mr. Yhwach, I can't be your secretary."

Yhwach sat silently, his icy blue eyes never leaving Esmeralda. Then, a smile crept on his lips. "Did Sosuke have something to do with this?"

"No, Mr. Yhwach. I made my own decision. I appreciate what you and your family have done for my friends and me, but we came here to do a job; that's it." Esmeralda stood up with her bag in hand. "I'm also thankful to you for being so kind, but I know this will not work out. I'm sorry. I will take my leave."

She turned to leave but felt a hand on her arm, pulling her back. Yhwach still had a smile on his face, but his smile was anything but kind; it was sadistic. "You dare refuse my offer after all I did for you?"

"Mr. Yhwach, I stand by my decision. Besides, I already know what you see me as; it's so wrong! So please let me go!"

Yhwach didn't let her go. "Don't tell me you have feelings for Sosuke. Do you think he's the gentleman that you perceive him to be? Do you think that you're the only woman he sees? He's fucked other women and left them. What makes you think that you're any different?"

Esmeralda bit her lower lip. "Be as it may, our relationship is nothing but professional. We both had a purpose, and that's that! Now please let me go right now!" She tried taking her arm out of his grip, but Yhwach pulled her closer to him. He then grabbed her hair, pulling it closer to him. She squealed in pain. "What are you-!?" However, she couldn't finish her sentence as Yhwach put his face onto hers. His lips forcibly were on hers.

Yhwach kissed her.

Esmeralda froze as she felt his lips on hers; it felt cold and violating. Tears formed in her eyes. She tried to push him away, but it was futile. Yhwach separated from the kiss without warning; he then pushed Esmeralda onto one of the sofas. She dropped her purse to the floor. Then, Yhwach got on top of her and began to kiss her neck as he touched one of her legs. "No! Get off of me!" Esmeralda began to punch and try to push him off of her.

However, Yhwach was too strong for her, so he pushed her hands away. He then held her upper dress and ripped it off, exposing her bra. He got a hold of it and ripped it. Her breasts were exposed, and Yhwach began to kiss and suckle on them. Esmeralda screamed and cried. "NO! NO! NO! GET OFF ME!" Tears trailed down her face. "SOSUKE, ANYONE, HELP ME, PLEASE!"

Suddenly, Yhwach was off of her. Esmeralda saw Sosuke forcibly taking Yhwach off of her. Sosuke then punched him across the face. Yhwach fell onto the floor, and Sosuke got on top of his father, punching him repeatedly.

Yhwach was shocked that he was found; he tried to fight back, but his son was too strong for him.

Ace and Bradley arrived inside the house, seeing what was going on. Ace saw Esmeralda trying to cover herself. His eyes were wide, knowing what had occurred. He immediately went to her as he took off his jacket, covering her. Bradley was shocked by everything he saw. The shock made him feel that he couldn't move. However, his eyes were on his nephew, beating up Yhwach. Bradley could tell that Yhwach was becoming unconscious.

Bradley went to Sosuke and got a hold of him. "Sosuke, that's enough! You're going to kill him!"

Sosuke didn't listen as he got away from his uncle's grip. Bradley got a hold of him again, trying to back him away from Yhwach. Ace saw this; he looked at Esmeralda. "Go outside; I need to help Uncle Brad!" Esmeralda nodded as she went outside. Ace then went to Sosuke, helping Bradley push Sosuke outside the house. "Yo, cuz! You gotta stop this! You beat him good; there's no need to kill him!"

Sosuke was finally taken out of the house; he was breathing heavily. Esmeralda saw what happened; tears dripped from her eyes. She ran to Sosuke, hugging him. "Sosuke, please, no more!" Esmeralda cried as she hugged him tighter. "No more."

He began to calm himself down as he looked down at Esmeralda; all the rage and hatred he had faded as the young woman hugged him. Sosuke felt her tears on his shirt; he hugged her back with all his might. Never in his life had he felt such fear before. He thought the worst and realized he could have killed his father. No, Sosuke no longer viewed Yhwach as his father, not anymore. That man was now dead to him. His uncle Bradley tried to motivate him to get close to Yhwach, but no longer.

Yhwach was now his enemy.

Esmeralda felt his hug, but she also felt his heart pounding loud and hard on his chest.

"Let's go back to my home; I know there's much to discuss," said Bradley.

All merely nodded.

...

Yhwach still lay on the floor as he slowly opened his eyes. He lost consciousness only for a bit. He felt pain swell throughout his face; blood dripped from his nose. Yhwach slowly sat up and then stood on his own two feet. The older man walked to his room and saw the damage. His left eye swelled, bruises were all over his face, and blood dripped from his nose and lip.

He kept on looking at his reflection. When Esmeralda refused his offer, he lost his composure. However, Yhwach felt he should have known she worked with Sosuke and Bradley. His excitement to see her made him lose his focus. He kissed her; he remembered how soft they were. So many emotions went through him, but the need to possess her overtook him.

What angered him more was that he lost control, making Esmeralda fear him. She will never be able to trust him again. Even when he told her of Sosuke's history with women, she refused him. Well, she only refused his offer. He could have Sosuke thrown in jail for assault but knew that Bradley had some proof up his sleeve. Also, Esmeralda would help support Sosuke and accuse Yhwach of attempted rape. What made him more annoyed was that Ace was also involved. It made Yhwach wonder if Ace was beginning to feel attraction toward Esmeralda.

This meant that it added more problems for Yhwach. A small part of him felt he should leave her alone and continue his life as he always had. Yet, his desire, lust, and obsession for Esmeralda were stronger. He then looked at his hands and remembered touching and kissing her body. She was so soft, inexperienced, and pure as he had always imagined and dreamed of. Esmeralda's inexperience, innocence, and purity attracted him to her. Her kindness and heart purity were also rare in women nowadays.

Yhwach glared at his image as he wiped the blood off his nose. He now had more enemies: his brothers, nephews, and everyone against him. It didn't matter; Yhwach had a few tricks up his sleeve. However, he had to wait the perfect time to strike. Yhwach also decided to research a bit more into Sosuke's history. An idea came to him.

He smirked.
