Author's note: I know what you're thinking. "You're already publishing a new chapter after saying that you had to step away, like, three weeks ago?" All of that is true, but let's just say that some things have happened during my time away, and I ultimately made the decision to keep writing this story while finishing school at the same time. This means that the Hero's Rumble will finally happen sooner than expected. But for now, let's go see what Logan's doing now that summer is over, shall we?

The sound of chops could be heard from inside the Disney's Wrestling Discipline Center in Animal Kingdom. In the training room, Logan was standing back, watching as all his students were slamming their hands, paws or anything either on punching bags or their partner. "Good, keep going, everyone," the coach said. "Remember, to deliver a correct chop, you must bring your hand back, like you're about to slap your opponent, then send it towards their chest. Flip your hand around at the last second, so your palm makes contact with the chest - don't use the back of your hand; it could damage your joints. Also, make sure to hit above the nipple and not directly on it."

It felt weird to the young Dream Defender going back to his work after two months of fun in the sun. While a part of him was sad that his vacation was over, he couldn't deny it was good to teach his students again. Sure, they still had a long way to go before becoming wrestling stars, but seeing them giving so much effort and dedication to learn new things filled him with pride and joy. They learned as much from each other as they did from him, just like any class should.

"Here! Take this! And that!" Dewey shouted, delivering chops to a punching bag with a little too much enthusiasm. "You know, Logan, the other day, I saw a documentary on Disney+ about a wrestler who was known for delivering chops like this!"

"Oh, you're talking about 'Nature Boy', the documentary on Ric Flair? I saw it, too; it was great!" Logan agreed. "The guy made a lot of great matches - and across three different generations! You gotta be one amazing man to do that." He delivered a chop to Dewey's punching bag and pushed a 'Woooo!' Everybody in the training room gave him weird glances. "Hey, don't look at me like that. I'm still a pro wrestling fan and I apologize for nothing!"

The training session went on for a few more hours before coming to an end. Logan's students started packing up their equipment and leaving the wrestling center.

"Say 'hi' to your brothers and mother for me, Dewey," Logan called as he removed his black hand wraps.

"Will dew. Bye, Logan!" the young teenage duck replied before crossing the center's doors.

At the same time, another avian entered in, this one being a falcon. "Yo, Logan, my best owl buddy!"

Just as he grabbed his sports bag, Logan saw the newcomer and smiled. "Hey, Tom!" He went to exchange a bump-fist with his long-time best friend. "Nice to see ya, best falcon buddy! How you doing?"

"I'm super-duper great, thanks for asking. You're done training for the day? Do you want us to do something together?"

"Sure. I'm a bit hungry right now. What do you say we go grab a snack and then head over to my place to have some fun?" Logan suggested.

With Tomada agreeing, the two friends left the wrestling center, went to get some seasoned fries at Mr. Kamal's, and ran to Logan's residence where they started playing video games together. For the occasion, Logan took out one of his old consoles so that he and Tomada could play a game they used to play often together before coming to the Magical World.

"I got it-No, cheese, LOOK OUT!" Logan exclaimed, swinging his controller as he was deeply in the game.

"We should've bought the upgrade before facing this boss!" Tomada argued. "Help! I'm almost dead!"

"How was I supposed to know? I thought we didn't need it until the next boss! Come on, it's not over yet; I'll heal you first, then let's keep the pressure on until we win!"

The game was intense, but in the end, the invincible duo prevailed. "ALRIGHT!" they beamed in unison, jumping on the couch and exchanging a high-five. "Man, I almost forgot how hard this game is. Good thing we played a lot of it before; I bet most of our friends wouldn't have made it past the first boss."

"No argument against that," Logan said with a nod. "Hey, now that we're done, what do you say we play some Battlefront 2?" When Tomada gave him a confused look and tilted his head, Logan clarified: "The original one, I mean, on my PS2."

"Oh, that's a good idea! Been a long time since I played some galactic conquest. We could go out for dinner after," Tomada beamed.

The two friends went down to the basement - Logan's 'gaming section' - and started looking for the right game and console. Whilst searching in a corner, Tomada spotted some sort of golden Egyptian sword lying against a pile of game boxes.

"Hey, Logan, what's that?" the falcon asked.

Upon seeing the weapon, Logan widened his eyes, taking it in his hands. "Anubis' Khopesh! You remember that item I told you I used during Hex's invasion that granted me new powers? That's it"

"T-The sword of Anubis?!" Tomada exclaimed. "But... why are you leaving it here, in your game room?"

Logan sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "To be honest, I was so distracted by my Owl Buster sword and Keyblade powers that I completely forgot I still had this peculiar sword. I must've pulled it down here at some point and forgotten to pick it back up."

"That would totally be your kind, buddy," Tomada agreed with rolling his eyes. "So? What did you say you could do with this sword?"

Instead of verbally giving an answer, Logan grabbed his falcon buddy and lifted him up in the air with only one arm. "Does that answer your question?" he teasingly asked. "Anubis' Khopesh augments my natural strength as long as I have it on me, unsheathed or not. I can also use green fire in battle." He set one of his fists on green fire to prove his point.

"Wow, that's pretty cool!" Tomada said as his friend let him back on the ground.

"Originally, it was a pendant given to me by Oswald. While fighting Hex, I read the Papyrus of Anubis that unlocked its full strength. I turned into a jackal that I like to call my 'Underdog X form'. However, the power got so far in my mind that I wanted to conquer the Magical World instead of saving it. That's when Anubis in person interfered to take the power away from me, only leaving me with this sword from his half-brother... Horus, I think he's called. It lets me use small parts of their combined powers." He stared at his golden weapon with a thoughtful look. "I'd like to get my Underdog X form back; I've got better self-control now. I'm also sure this sword can do plenty of other things... But I don't know how to contact Anubis..."

"Maybe I can help with that." Logan gave his friend a curious look. "What? Did you forget I'm a shaman? I can open a connection to the Astral Plane, where spirits live. With your weapon, it's possible that I can find a way for us to reach Anubis so that he can help you."

"Really? That would be amazing!" Logan beamed. "So? How can we get to see Anubis?"

The two friends went to sit down in the living room with Anubis' Khopesh between them. Tomada made his friend put his hand on the golden sword whilst he did the same with his wing. "Alright, all you have to do now is let me open the connection to the Astral Plane. Just stay silent so that I can focus. I must warn you that the journey to the Astral Plane can be a bit shaky for first timers."

"Very reassuring," Logan sarcastically mumbled.

Tomada closed his eyes and focused, a green magic energy soon appearing over his body and spreading to the khopesh. Once it connected, the energy turned from lime-green to golden and also spread over to Logan, making him slightly freak out. He felt like something caught him from behind and dragged him through space and time at full speed, landing on the ground with a loud thud.

"Cheese... and... crackers...," Logan groaned. The young man realized he was not lying on his living room's floor anymore, but on sand. In fact, he seemed to be in the middle of a desert with pyramids standing in the distance. The sky was dark with stars and a full moon. "W-What is this place?"

As he was gazing all around, Tomada came to help him back up. "Buddy, welcome to the Astral Plane. More precisely, the part of it that serves as a habitat for Egyptian deities. "

"Really? Cool!" Logan exclaimed. He then started dusting himself off. "Though I'm not a big fan of sand; it's rough, coarse, and gets everywhere."

Tomada rolled his eyes. "Enough with the Prequels references, Logan. We must find Anubis." He rubbed his chin. "Let's see... If I was a jackal god living in a desert, where would I spend my time?"

Thankfully, the two friends didn't even have to begin their research as some of the surrounding sand magically flew in the air and fused before them, taking the form of a black jackal with golden eyes. "I believe my name has been evoked?"

To say that Tomada was beyond shocked would be an understanding. "L-Lord Anubis?! Oh, my ancients!" He quickly bowed down. "It's an honor to meet the Egyptian God of Death in person."

Hearing this, the black jackal threw his paws in the air. "Okay, why does everybody think that I'm the God of Death? I'm not the God of Death; I'm the Egyptian God of Embalmment, Protector of Tombs, Guider of Souls, and Guardian of the Scales. A lot of titles, but not God of Death."

"Oh, huh, my apologies, Lord Anubis," Tomada sheepishly said, rubbing the back of his head with a nervous smile. "Despite being a shaman, I'm more familiar with the mythology and deities of Native American culture than Egyptian. I swear I wasn't seeking to offend you."

"It's alright; I'm used to the confusion by now," Anubis assured. He then turned his attention to Logan. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you look familiar to me. Have we met before?"

"Yes, I'm Logan Jindrak, Lord Anubis," Logan explained. "I used your power when Hex invaded the Magical World. You interfered and gave me this sword after I had a wrestling match with two of Hex's possessed goons, remember?" He showed the khopesh to back up his claims.

"Hmm... Yes, I do replace you," Anubis said. "I trust you used the powers bestowed upon you for good since our last encounter?"

Logan rubbed the back of his head. "To be completely honest with you, I didn't use your khopesh that much since receiving it, my lord... If at all. That's because I received other powers that I had to develop in order to get more efficient in missions, you know what I mean? However, that's the reason why I asked my friend to bring me here: with your permission, I'd like to access the full power of the Anubis Khopesh instead simply having access to some parts of you and your half-brother's combined powers."

Anubis stared at the young man in silence, contemplating what he said. "An interesting request indeed, mortal. I'm afraid that I am not willing to share my godly abilities with anyone - mortals can have pure hearts, but most of you are only looking to fulfil your own ambitions, like using my power to participate in wrestling events. Like that Pack guy and then that Jackie guy," the jackal god explained. "I also recall you losing control of yourself upon accessing my full power and wanting to conquer the world."

"Yeah, I remember that," Logan admitted with embarrassment. "But a lot of things have changed since then. I learned to better control myself, and I'm a Dream Defender, someone supposed to help everybody in the Magical World. If you let me access all of your abilities, I can be more efficient in my job. It's true that things didn't turn out well the first time, but can you at least give me a chance to prove myself to you?"

The Egyptian God rubbed his chin, thinking about this demand. "I suppose there would be no harm in giving you a chance. Very well, mortal, I will test you to see if you are worthy of using the power of Anubis, God of Embalmment. This test will be in the form of a one on one duel."

Both Logan and Tomada widened their eyes at this. "What?! You're serious?! Logan, that's not a good idea; I know you became strong lately, but facing a god all by yourself is just too crazy!"

"Of course, I wasn't talking about any form of duel." With a snap of his fingers, Anubis made a wrestling ring appear from out of nowhere. "Since you mortals seem to enjoy wrestling that much, I'm willing to give it a try for myself. The rule here will be that none of us will be allowed to use magical powers; only our physical abilities."

"Y-You mean no magic tricks nor weapons?" Logan asked.

"Exactly. It is easy for mortals to hide behind their words and power, but as the old saying goes, a naked man holds no secret," Anubis explained. He led his two guests into the ring. "We will work under the classic wrestling rules: a match to the finish, where the winner is the first to either pin his opponent for a count of three or force him to tap out. Disqualifications and count-outs are also allowed. Any problem with that?"

"None at all!" Logan declared. "However, I do have one demand: can I at least get my wrestling gear?" Anubis once again snapped his fingers, engulfing Logan in green fire before he re-appeared with his black short-sleeved shirt that had 'X Artist' written in green on the front, his black shorts that reached to his knees, his black hand wraps and running shoes of the same color. "Alright, now, I'm all set!" he exclaimed with slamming a fist in his hand.

"Ooh, ooh, can I be the referee?" Tomada excitedly asked. "I may not be a big fan of wrestling, but I know how it works!"

"If you wish, I have no objection," Anubis replied.

Everybody went inside the ring, Logan and Anubis getting into opposite corners whilst Tomada stood in the very middle. The opponents performed some warm-ups to get ready, Logan still unable to believe he was about to wrestle against a god. Even if he knew nobody intended to cheat, Tomada still did a quick check up on them to make sure they didn't hide anything before the encounter.

"Everything seems to be in order. Let's begin the match!" Tomada called, a bell ringing from above. "Where'd that come from?"

Logan and Anubis walked around in circles for a brief moment before locking their arms in a clinch. The young mortal caught the god's waist from behind and actually managed to lift him up and slam him down on the mat. As he beamed from getting the first blow on his opponent, Anubis wasted no time getting back up and locking into another clinch. Logan tried to catch the black jackal into a guillotine choke, but this last one managed to push him back into a corner.

"Let go now!" Tomada ordered, forcing Logan to release his opponent due to being in contact with the ropes.

As soon as he released him, the god rose his hand and slapped Logan on the chest. "Ouch!" the Dream Defender exclaimed with tears comically forming in his eyes. "That hurt!"

"We're not here to cuddle, young mortal," Anubis pointed out.

Recovering from the slap, Logan charged for a clothesline that Anubis ducked and grabbed his waist to german suplex him. However, the move had seemingly no effect on Logan as he simply got back on his feet with a grin and caught the god's waist with a near arm in front and far arm behind, lifting him for a gutwrench suplex. Not releasing the pressure, Logan waited for Anubis to get back up before launching a barrage of blows and knee strikes that forced him into a corner. Tomada once again intervened to make him stop.

"This is an interesting wrestling style you have there, young mortal. It doesn't look like the classic brawling type. Care to explain?" Anubis asked

"Sure; my wrestling style is like a mix of kickboxing and Greco-Roman wrestling," Logan explained. "My uncle had a friend who knew kickboxing; he taught me everything he knew to defend myself in the streets and at school from bullies. When I started taking wrestling lessons, my coach advised me to learn Greco-Roman wrestling, as combining a solid offensive style with suplexes and all sorts of holds would make for a deadly combination in the ring."

"Your coach was right," Anubis agreed with a smile. "Now, let us continue!"

Instead of going for another clinch, Logan aimed a roundhouse kick at Anubis' head. The black jackal ducked under it and clotheslined the young man over the top rope and outside the ring. He waited for his opponent to get back up before running in the ropes and gracefully jumped over the top rope to land on him with a tope con hilo.

"In my case, I like to adopt a mix of high-risk high-flying with classic powerhouse," the Protector of Tombs explained before bringing Logan back into the ring. Taking advantage of the fact he was still a bit stunned, Anubis ran in the ropes for a handspring attack that Logan countered with yet another german suplex.

The Owl took a few seconds to recompose himself before grabbing Anubis' waist and going for a series of three gutwrench suplexes. However, on the third one, Anubis managed to land on his feet and ducked a clothesline from Logan to bounce in the ropes and hit him in the face with a springboard roundhouse kick. With Logan down, Anubis went for the pinfall.

"One!" Tomada exclaimed, slamming his wing on the mat. "Two! KICKOUT!" Logan managed to get his shoulders off the mat before Tomada could hit the mat a third time, which would have announced his defeat.

Anubis grabbed Logan by the shoulders and tossed him in a corner, where he charged right into him, squashing the poor man between him and the corner. Because of the attack's strength, Logan collapsed on the mat, the Egyptian God taking the opportunity to climb on the second turnbuckle and hit an elbow drop from there, immediately followed by another pin.

"One! Two! KICKOUT!"

Seeing the Dream Defender still had some energy left in the tank, Anubis climbed on top of him and delivered a few blows to his head before getting him up for a suplex. Logan, however, managed to escape it and delivered a few chops to his chest, every time pushing a 'Wooo!'. This earned him a confused look from the god.

"Why are you howling?" he asked.

"That's not howling; you need to be a wrestling fan to catch the reference," Logan explained. He gave one more chop (and a 'Wooo!') before going for a roundhouse kick that Anubis ducked and lifted him up for a Gorilla press slam.

The Protector of Tombs placed the Owl's head between his legs and lifted him up for a Powerbomb, only for Logan to escape. He finally managed to connect his roundhouse kick to the side of Anubis' head, stunning him long enough to follow with a bridging cradle suplex. Tomada immediately got on the mat to count the pin. "One! Two! KICKOUT!"

At this point, both opponents were covered in sweat, their breath heavy. "Are you tired already?" Anubis asked.

Logan managed to give a smirk in response. "Are you kidding?! I'm barely getting warmed up!"

They started trading chops with each other (Logan still doing his 'Wooo!'s) until Logan outright slapped Anubis' chest, turning it red. He tried to follow up with a german suplex, but Anubis landed on his feet and delivered an enzuigiri to the side of Logan's head, stunning him to the point that he dropped to his knees. Taking a Kung Fu stance, Anubis went for a crane kick that Logan somehow managed to duck and replied with a bicycle knee strike to the jackal's jaw. Taking advantage of his stunned condition, Logan lifted him up for a Powerbomb immediately followed by another bicycle knee strike to the jaw and the pin.

"One! Two! Thre-KICKOUT!"

The God of Embalmment managed to lift his shoulders off the mat at the very last second. While shocked, Logan remained focused and decided to trap his opponent into a D'Arce Choke submission hold. Tomada stayed close, continuously asking the black jackal if he wanted to give up. "NEVER!" he stubbornly replied and managed to reach for the ropes to force the break.

"Man! I was sure I had him trapped for the victory there!" Logan whined. "No, no, stay focused, Logan; you can still win this!"

As Anubis retreated into a corner, Logan started running in the ropes and hitting him with running forearm strikes from everywhere. Of course, the Egyptian God eventually got tired and ran to meet the Owl in the middle of the ring with a double clothesline that knocked both opponents to the mat. Tomada had to snap out of his temporary shock to start the ten count. Luckily, they got on their knees before he could reach ten, which would have resulted in a no contest.

"I must recognize your strength, mortal; only divine beings managed to push me to this point in the past. When powers were allowed, of course," Anubis said.

"Maybe because I'm one of the most determined mortals you'll ever encounter!" Logan answered.

While still on their knees, the opponents started trading forearm strikes to each other's face. They went slowly at first, then gradually did it faster and faster, getting back on their feet as they did so. It all came to an end when Anubis roundhouse kicked the side of Logan's head and followed with all sorts of kicks to his head, legs and torso. At one point, Logan decided he had enough and blocked a spin kick from the black jackal before delivering quick palm strikes to his abdomen, ending with a European Uppercut to his jaw.

The level of intensity escalated, neither opponent willing to let the other get the advantage. Tomada could see magic energy burning from their bodies - golden bronze for Anubis and snow-white for Logan - like it really wanted to come out, but their owners not letting them. With a solid roar, Anubis hit Logan with a dropkick that pushed him into a corner, where he charged into him multiple times.

As the Egyptian God went for another charge, Logan somehow managed to halt him with his arms and exploder suplexed him across the ring. Before he could understand what happened, Logan roundhouse kicked Anubis' head before lifting him on his shoulders, taking a moment to wave his hand in front of his own face, and hitting a fireman carry slam on the mat. He immediately followed with a pinfall.

"One! Two! KICKOUT!" Tomada once again counted. "Why did you wave your hand in your face before doing that move? Oh... It was another one of your wrestling references, wasn't it?"

"Correct. And here's another one!" Logan charged his hand like a gun before going for a superman punch. Anubis interrupted him in midair with a superkick to the face and then body slammed the mortal on the mat before climbing a corner and jumping on him with a diving moonsault followed by the pin.

"One! Two! Thre-KICKOUT!"

Following this kickout, Anubis couldn't help but stare at his opponent on the mat. "Even without magic involved, this young man has quite the physical resilience. He must have worked really hard to master this sport he enjoys so much..." The Protector of Tombs jumped in the ropes to go for another springboard roundhouse kick, only for Logan to duck he attack and trap him from behind in a rear naked choke submission hold.

"Do you wanna quit? Lord Anubis, do you wanna quit?" Tomada kept asking the jackal as he struggled to break free.

The match had been taking its toll on Anubis, and the submission hold seemed extremely painful. Yet, even after a full minute, he still did not give up. Resisting the desire to pass out, Anubis got back on his feet and started hitting his elbow into Logan's abdomen in hopes of making him let go. "Cheese and crackers!" Logan german suplexed his jackal opponent for what felt like the hundredth time before jumping on him with a senton.

"Looks like it's time to bring out some aerial maneuvers!" Climbing a top turnbuckle, Logan jumped on Anubis with a diving crossbody. However, the god managed to catch him in his arms with his superior strength and slammed him hard on the mat with a swinging side slam. Instead of going for the pin, Anubis wrapped his legs around Logan's head for a pace choke

"Do you submit, Logan?" Tomada asked.

"No offense, mortal, but I managed to restrain stronger beings than you in the past. You're not getting out of this, so I suggest you surrender to avoid unnecessary damage," Anubis advised.

"N-Never!" Logan stubbornly refused.

"Have it your way."

Anubis tightened his hold, making Logan groan in pain. He needed to get out of this, or he would pass out and lose the match. Thankfully, the ropes weren't too far, so he managed to put one foot on them by rolling forward. Tomada forced the break.

"This is not good...," Logan though to himself as Tomada made Anubis step back after the rope break. "I don't know how much he's got left in the tank... but I'm practically on my last legs. No choice, I must finish him off with my next moves..."

The second Anubis got too close to him, Logan caught him by surprise with a superman punch across the face followed by a bicycle knee strike in the jaw. He then climbed a top turnbuckle and took advantage of his opponent lying down to hit a diving elbow drop right to the chest, followed by what he hoped would be the victorious pinfall.

"One! Two! thre-KICKOUT!"

"Are you kidding me?! Even that wasn't enough?!" Logan exclaimed in disbelief at seeing Anubis lifting his shoulder up before the count of three again. Despair setting in, he delivered another knee strike to Anubis' jaw... only to have the jackal glare seriously at him. He went for a second one. Same result. His third attempt was blocked with ease as the Egyptian God caught his knee with his paws and stood up, his glare never leaving. "... Aww, cheese..."

Letting go of the knee, Anubis rose his paws above his head before slamming them down on Logan's chest, turning it red. He then grabbed the young mortal by the head and lifted him up for a Tiger Driver 98, slamming his head hard on the mat. Not going for the pin, Anubis instead tried to apply his pace choke once again. When Logan fought to prevent him from doing so, the black jackal delivered shoulder strikes to his chest over and over again until he was too weak to resist, and then finally managed to lock in the pace choke. Understanding he could not get out of this one, Logan accepted his defeat and tapped out.

"It's over! It's over!" Tomada announced and made Anubis release his grip. "The winner of this match by submission is Lord Anubis!" He rose the jackal's paw in the air before going to his friend's side. "Are you okay, Logan?"

"I guess..." The young man groaned in pain whilst clutching his aching body parts. He then looked up at the Egyptian God. "Congratulations, Lord Anubis..."

"You delivered a good fight, young mortal," Anubis complimented.

"But I still lost..."

"Yes, you did."

Logan remained silent for many seconds, his head hanging low. However, he then slammed his fist on the mat and looked up with determination. "It doesn't matter! I lost this time, I'll probably lose next time, and the one after that... But I'll keep trying over and over again until I succeed!" He pointed a serious finger at the god. "Sooner or later, I'll beat you, and then, you'll have no choice but to trust me with your power!"

Anubis just stared at the Dream Defender after this declaration... and then smiled. "That won't be necessary. You passed the test."

"... What?"

"The goal of this match was not for you to win: I was testing you to see if you were worthy of my power. Even with no magic at your disposal, you showed an unbreakable fighting spirit the like of which I rarely got to see amongst mortals," Anubis explained. "Not only that, but I can tell that everything you just said was sincere. A strong body, a strong mind, and a strong heart. Everything gods should be looking for in their disciples..." He approached Logan with a serious expression. "Logan Jindrak, do you accept to train under me, Anubis, God of Embalmment, Protector of Tombs, Guider of Souls, and Guardian of the Scales? If you accept, I will train you not only to improve your wrestling skills, but also to learn all of my powers. I must warn you that it will not be easy."

Far from looking intimidated, Logan's smile reached his ears, the young man struggling not to jump on the spot. "Of course I accept, Lord Anubis! Like I said, I'm not afraid of suffering if it means getting better! I'm sure I can learn a lot from you!"

Anubis nodded his head. "Very well." He reached his paw to touch Logan's shoulder. The Dream Defender felt something strange and lifted his black shirt to see the tattoo of a black jackal appearing on his right hip, reaching all the way up to his side. "From now on, you are the disciple of Anubis. You will learn my powers under my watchful eye!"

"AWESOME!" Logan beamed... just before realizing a detail. "Huh, that's good and all, but I just have one question... What is your training schedule? It's because I must already train under Master Yen Sid, Sora, and Riku..."

"Do not worry; living on the Astral Plane, I can train you in your dreams. All the knowledge and experience you acquire in your sleep will be transported to your mind in the Magical World once you wake up," Anubis explained. "For now, you should probably return home; we'll start your training tomorrow night."

The two friends nodded in agreement. "Huh, excuse me, Lord Anubis, sir, I have a question," Tomada said. "If it's possible, do you think I could one day meet the Thunderbird? It's a very popular deity in my culture."

"My apologies, young mortal, but I am not that familiar with deities from Native American culture," Anubis apologized.

"Oh, okay..." Pulling his disappointment aside, Tomada used his shaman powers to bring them back to the Magical World.

Whilst he did so, Logan couldn't help but admire the Anubis tattoo on his hip and side. "Gabriel and the others will never believe this..."

Author's note: Logan got to face Anubis himself in a wrestling match and is now his pupil! Hope I succeeded in making my return with a bang of a chapter.

While I do enjoy TheDragonSaver's Magical World Saga quite a lot, I unfortunately don't know it by heart. As such, there are elements that I tend to forget, like the fact that Logan received a khopesh sword from Anubis in 'Saving the Disney Universe', and that he got to keep the powers he received during that story. Luckily, I did a re-read on the story and got reminded of that detail. Therefore, the first thing I wanted to do was to bring the Anubis Khopesh back and get Logan to become Anubis' student, so he could get some spirit training, too.

Remember in the third chapter, when Logan explained to his students that pro wrestling is different from MMA? Well, ironically, it's actually possible to integrate MMA and UFC fighting styles to your wrestling style. Famous wrestlers who did this include: Brock Lesnar, Ken Shamrock, Matt Riddle, and Bobby Lashley. BTW, if you understood the pro wrestling references Logan made throughout the chapter, please point them out in the reviews.

Next time: It's time for Destiny to learn more about her potential.
