Destiny the whale shark paced back and forth in front of the Mysterious Tower. She had wakened up early, quickly grabbed something to eat, and wished goodbye to her friends at the Great Barrier Reef in a hurry to arrive in time. Yet, despite all of this, she still had to wait for a long time outside Master Yen Sid's residence.

"Wake up early, Destiny, he said. I wanna arrive in time and see everything, he said," the adorable whale mumbled to herself in a less-than-pleased tone. "And yet, here I am, still waiting for him. What are you doing, Logan?" As if on cue, the tower's doors opened. "There you are! Why did you take so long to...?!" Her eyes widened.

Logan stepped outside the tower, now clad in a whole new outfit. Instead of his favorite Disney or wrestling shirts, the young man wore a black fleece vest alongside black baggy shorts that ended at his knees and were held in place by a belt. The fleece vest ended above his belly button, allowing his waist and Anubis tattoo to be visible. Over his fleece vest, he also wore a red and orange vest similar to Sora's in the first Kingdom Hearts game, except it had a collar instead of a hoodie. Naturally, he left it unzipped to show his fleece vest. Anubis' Khopesh was no longer strapped to his back, but instead to his left hip by his shorts' belt. One of the most noticeable features was that he had traded his trademark red baseball cap for a red headband that had orange outlines and the symbol of a white snowy owl on the front. He still wore fingerless gloves, except these were red and orange in colors, much bigger than the old ones, and had metal plates on their back. To complete the look, he had red and orange running shoes.

"Hey, Destiny! Sorry for being late," Logan said, stepping out of the tower. He took a little pose. "So? What do you think of my new look?"

"You look very handsome!" Destiny exclaimed, a blush visible on her big cheeks. "Where did you get these clothes?"

"It's the three good fairies living in the Mysterious Tower; they made them for me," Logan explained. "Master Yen Sid decided it was time for me to take the next step of my Keyblade Wielder training. That's why he asked the good fairies to create new clothes that will grant me access to Drive Forms, just like they did with Sora! For now, the only Drive Form I have access to is Valor Form. But they told me I will gain new ones as I go on more adventures!"

"Glad for you," Destiny mused and gave a kiss to her boyfriend.

"Come on, now; the D23 Expo is about to begin! We need to arrive soon if we wanna see everything by the end of the day!" Logan beamed and tried to pull his girlfriend away by grabbing her fin. "You might wanna take your human form if you want to move through the crowd."

However, the whale shark did not move and gave him a sly smile. "Actually, I got a better idea. Watch." With a flick of her fins, she created a glowing aqua-blue magic that surrounded her. Once the light faded, Destiny landed on the ground, her new appearance making Logan's jaw drop. She had turned into an anthropomorphic whale, Zootopia style. Her figure was round, and she reached the limit of human's size. She was wearing the same thing as in her human form: a one-piece swimsuit whose patterns matched her whale shark skin (it made it hard to spot it at first glance) and had a hole at the back to let her tail come out.

"W-What...?! How...?!" Logan blabbered in a flabbergasted voice.

"You have Jasiri to thank for that. As much as I like being in my human form, it feels weird to go around without my normal features like my tail and whale skin. That's why, when we last met, I asked her to teach me how to turn into an anthropomorphic version of myself. Now, I feel more... natural." She, too, took a little pose. "How do I look?"

One would have sworn Logan's jaw could reach the ground. Sure, Destiny already looked beautiful in her normal and human forms... But that was like a combination of the best both sides had to offer. A small part of him wished she would wear a two-piece swimsuit instead of the one-piece...?! No, no! Bad thoughts, bad thoughts! Logan slapped the side of his head a few times before recomposing himself.

"You're beyond amazing, Destiny! If Poseidon had to choose a mate, no doubt you'd be in his top three!" Logan ran to hug his girlfriend's round tummy.

This compliment made Destiny blush adorably. "Awww, thanks, Logan." She picked him up and planted a big kiss on his face (since her lips were too big for his). "Now, let's get going, or we're gonna be late for your event!" Still carrying Logan in her arms, Destiny walked towards the train.

Logan and Destiny stood outside a gigantic center built on the outskirts of Magic Kingdom, where a huge crowd was gathered at the entrance. This center was decorated with panels of the Magical World's most famous characters, like Mickey Mouse, Elsa, and more! If Logan's heartbeat were to get any faster, he'd probably get a heart attack. "We're here! We're here! The D23 Expo!"

"There sure are a lot of people around," Destiny remarked, rubbing the back of her head. "What's so special about this event already?"

"Dude, the D23 Expo is the Ultimate Disney Fan Event!" Logan exclaimed. "It's a convention during which The Disney Company and every associated studio, like Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and the 20th Century Fox announce their upcoming projects - their movies, shows, video games and theme park rides - whilst also giving us glimpses of what is really close to come out! Not only that, but we can also buy souvenirs, some rare and expensive items, meet new friends and cosplayers, but also assist speeches and interviews from important figures and characters! It's like the Comic Con of Disney! I heard that many characters will be there to promote their movies and TV shows. You think they'll accept to sign autographs?"

Destiny couldn't help but giggle at her boyfriend's enthusiasm. "Only one way to find out. Let's go."

The young couple began their visit by hanging in the entrance hall, where hundreds of fans dressed in impressive cosplays (some being alternates takes on famous Disney characters) and even some beloved characters were relaxing and chatting. They talked to some of them and even got to take a few selfies. Once this part was done, it was time for the autographs. The meeting lines were pretty long, but Logan and Destiny managed to get autographs from the Bad Batch, Queen Anna, Maui, and the real Buzz Lightyear (not the toy).

"Are you sure you don't wanna go to this side? There's plenty of Marvel heroes and villains - I can even see the Guardians of the Galaxy!" Destiny said.

The Dream Defender nervously rubbed the back of his head. "That's not a good idea, Destiny. I'm afraid that the Marvel characters may still be mad at me for what I said at Epcot... Plus, I don't want Rocket to blow my head off."

They went to a snack bar to eat a little. While Logan enjoyed a burrito and box of milk, Destiny went for a bowl of fruit salad and a bottle of water. With so many fans invading every corner of the center, it wasn't long before Logan and Destiny started feeling trapped, so decided to go on a terrace outside the center where they could catch some air and relax. The whale gently stroked her boyfriend's head whilst he, in return, affectionately rubbed her tummy.

"What do you wanna do now?" Destiny asked once they were done relaxing and got back up.

"The panel and project reveals are supposed to start soon, but we still have some time until then. Wanna go check up all the merchandise? Maybe we can buy ourselves a few souvenirs!" Logan said. With Destiny nodding in agreement, the two headed back inside the center, Logan accidentally bumping into someone on their way. "Oh, sorry there, I didn't see you...?! W-Woody?!"

Indeed, that figure Logan bumped into was none other than Toy Story's sheriff in person. Instead of being small like his usual toy-self, he was the same size as Logan, but still in his toy form. "Hey, it's Logan!" Woody exclaimed, remembering the young man from the few times they encountered in the past. "Been a while, partner!" he added, shaking Logan's hand.

"Hi, Woody," Destiny greeted with a wave of her hand.

The sheriff stared at the whale in confusion for a second before widening his eyes as he finally recognized her. "D-Destiny?! What happened to you, where did you get those legs and hands?"

"Transformation magic," she replied, performing a spin to show everything. "Looks pretty good, don't you think?"

"Absolutely, partner," Woody nodded. "I came here to have meet-and-greets with the rest of the TS gang. But we're done for the day, so I'm free to enjoy the rest of the expo. What were you guys doing?"

"We got a few autographs and many selfies. Now, we were gonna take a little trip around the merchandise section to buy a few souvenirs before the reveal panels; wanna join us?" Logan offered.

"With pleasure," the sheriff accepted.

The merchandise section had an amazing selection of item that visitors could buy. From t-shirts to the iconic Mickey Mouse ears hat to plushies and even expensive replicas of iconic items such as Thor's hammer. As much as it was tempting to buy all the cool stuff he came across, Logan didn't want to throw away all his budget in one go, so had to apply some self-restraint to his enthusiasm. However, there was one item he couldn't resist buying.

"Hey, Destiny," Logan said as he approached his girlfriend, keeping his surprise hidden behind his back. "I got a little something for you."

She looked at him with a curious expression. Not wanting to push the suspense for too long, he revealed the surprise gift: a little bracelet that was designed to look like Te Fiti's heart from Moana, complete with the turquoise color and oceanic patterns. "Remember that Gabriel offered a bead necklace to Jasiri when they started dating? Well, I felt bad for not doing the same to you, even after us being together for so long. That's why I decided to get you this! It's pretty fitting, since it's a relic from the ocean, the world you're from."

"Aww, Logan, you didn't have to," Destiny said, an adorable blush on her face as she took the item. "But, huh... Don't you think it's a bit too small for me?"

"Don't worry; the seller told me it's supposed to magically adjust itself to the size of the owner's wrist."

Indeed, the bracelet glowed and grew up to fit Destiny's size. The whale was therefore able to slip it on the non-existent wrist of her hand. "It's beautiful! I love it!" She picked up her boyfriend and planted a huge kiss on his cheek. "Thanks a lot, Logan." The young Dream Defender blushed and returned the kiss.

"How adorable..." The couple turned to see Woody gazing at them. "Oh, sorry, I didn't want to interrupt your moment or anything; I just found you guys cute together. However, I must announce to you that the reveal panels and project announcements are about to begin. So, unless you prefer staying here and make this moment last..."

"No, no, it's alright. We're coming!" Logan said.

When the project announcements and reveal panels finally came to an end, many hours later, Logan, Destiny and Woody sat around a table outside one of the restaurants to enjoy a good dinner before heading home. It was a restaurant that specialized in the art of making pancakes and smoothies, so everybody commanded just that, a different variation for everyone. Whereas Woody just took ordinary pancakes with maple syrup and Mickey Waffles, Destiny took a huge plate of pancakes with cooked potatoes and cheese grits alongside a bowl of oatmeal on the side. As for Logan, he went for a giant pile of chocolate chips pancakes covered in apple, watermelon, and orange slices, grapes, and strawberries. He also added bacon and sausages to his plate. For the drinks, Logan got a Minnie Mouse-themed strawberry smoothie while Destiny got a Donald Duck-themed cobalt blueberry one and Woody enjoyed a Goofy-themed orange smoothie.

Naturally, Woody gazed at Logan engulfing his meal with wide eyes. The Dream Defender swallowed everything in his plate like it was the last food on earth, some of it falling down on his plate. Upon noticing the gaze, Logan stopped. "... What?" he asked, his mouth half-full.

"No offense, but you're eating like Andy, back when he was in his growing period," the sheriff explained.

"Yeah, Logan always have had the appetite of five humans combined," Destiny pointed out with a giggle.

This comment earned her a playful glare from her boyfriend. "Who are you to speak? Your portion is just as big as mine!"

"That's because I'm a whale, meaning I have a big stomach, silly," Destiny replied and teasingly pulled her tongue out at her boyfriend. Rather than causing a fight, this made everyone around the table laugh.

"So, what did you guys think of the expo?" Woody asked. "The new Black Panther's trailer got me very interested."

"Me too! I still get goosebumps from it!" Destiny beamed. "If it's anything like the first movie, then no doubt it's gonna be one of the greatest movies of the year! Right, Logan?"

Her boyfriend did not share her enthusiasm. "I know it's probably gonna be a good movie... But it just won't be the same without Chadwick Boseman..." This statement dropped the happy ambiance, Woody and Destiny looking down in sadness. "It's good that they made his death as part of the plot to connect with us, but still, I wish he could've lived a bit longer..."

"We all do," Woody assured. In an attempt to cheer the mood up, he said: "The new movie with Ant-Man and The Wasp also looked pretty good, don't you think?"

"Yup. It looks like the events of Loki will have an impact on the movie," Destiny remarked. "It was nice of Scott to wave at us during the convention."

"I'm sure their movie - the one to kick off Phase 5 - will be plenty of funs, just like the first two," Logan agreed. "However, the upcoming Marvel movie that retained my attention the most is no doubt Thunderbolts. This is gonna be Marvel's version of the Suicide Squad, and with guys like Winter Soldier, Red Guardian, John Walker, and Taskmaster, it will ROCK!"

"What's the Suicide Squad?" Woody asked.

"It's a team of DC Comics super villains that are forced to carry on missions for the government."

"And the Thunderbolts are gonna be like that? Cool," Destiny said. "I just hope they're gonna tone down the creepiness a bit. Wouldn't want to have another movie like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness."

Woody chuckled. "Tell me about it! We watched it together with my group, the other day; Rex got so scared that he still can't sleep alone now. Speaking of Rex, he already wants me to be his partner to play Disney Illusion Island, when it comes out. I may not be a big gamer like he and Ham are, but it could be fun."

"It's true that it looks fun. I may ask Tomada, Aline and Toren to come to my place, so we can play it all together," Logan said, excited at the idea of having fun with his friends. "That being said, you know what upcoming video game I'm the most excited for? Midnight Suns! They announced it over a year ago, and it just keeps looking more promising with every update! I can't wait to kick demon butts with Ghost Rider and Blade!"

"Gabriel must be happy that they're remaking the Gargoyles video game," Destiny pointed out. "Are you gonna play that game too, Logan?"

The young man shivered at this. "No, thanks; The Lion King and Aladdin video games already made my life miserable enough as is. But I do intend on playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora... Given that I buy myself a PS5 when it comes out. But I'm so excited to finally return to the world of Avatar that I might just do that!"

"Oh, Logan, we have to go see the new Avatar movie; it looks so beautiful!" Destiny said, grabbing her boyfriend's hands. "I want so bad to see the oceans of Pandora and all the creatures that live in it! Do you have any idea how exciting this is for a whale like me?"

"Don't worry; I, too, want to see it," Logan assured with a chuckle. "After waiting more than an entire decade, there's no way I'm missing the sequel to one of the greatest movies ever made! Say, what part of the expo did you enjoy the most, Destiny?"

"The new Pixar movie panels, of course," she replied. "It's so great that they're making a sequel to Inside Out; I'll get to see Riley, Joy, and the other emotions on the big screen again! There's gonna be new emotions, so our big Pixar Family will grow even bigger! Not only with them, but also with the other projects: Elemental, Elio and Win or Lose. I'm so excited!"

"You and me both, girl," Woody said, looking just as excited as his whale friend. "It's always fun to welcome new members to the family. Not to say that I'm not excited for the new Disney movies and shows. Strange World and Wish have the potential to be the next big things for the Magical World - like Encanto and Raya have been recently. Fans were also pretty enthusiastic at the live action remakes of The Little Mermaid, Snow White and Peter Pan. Do you intend on watching all those movies, too?"

Logan frowned and rubbed the back of his head. "To be honest with you, Woody, I'm not a big fan of the Disney live action remakes. The whole reason I fell in love with animated movies is because they create a type of magic and wonder that live action movies just cannot reproduce. So, if you turn them into live action films, it kinda goes against the entire point." He chuckled a bit and placed his hands behind his head. "Ironically, I say this, and yet, I'm still planning to see the new Lion King movie. Probably because it's not so much a live action remake as it is a whole new story that will expend The Lion King's lore. I've always wondered what Mufasa's past was like and how his rivalry with Scar came to be. It'd also be good if they could explain how the cheese Mufasa didn't guess Scar was the one who took out the former Lion Guard, as they disappeared at the same time Scar lost the Roar of the Elders. Well, if the Lion Guard does exist in the live action timeline, that is."

"I still can't believe Indiana Jones came out in person to promote his new movie. We definitely should see it with Adam and Melanie, right, Logan?" Destiny asked.

"Knowing him, Adam must have a personal day count to the release of the film," Logan mused. "But, yeah, it'd be fun to watch it with them." He checked something on his phone. "Say, the expo may be over, but they're still doing a fan art contest in the other room. I'd like to check it out before leaving."

"No problem with me!" Destiny beamed and resumed eating.

The trio finished their meal before heading over to the fan art expo section and looking through the tens of amazing fan-made pieces of art. At one point, Logan stopped before a particularly well-done drawing of the new 100th Anniversary logo of Disney. Woody came to join him.

"Pretty good, right?" the sheriff said. "It's crazy to think that it has already been a hundred years since the Magical World came to be. Unbelievable how far a man's dream can go - it can bring a whole century of happiness!"

"Yeah...," Logan replied with a thoughtful, somewhat sad look.

This look did not go unnoticed by Woody. "What's bothering you, Logan? Being an artist, I thought seeing all of these would make you happy."

"Oh, it's nothing... I just used to do fan art like all of this, not so long ago," Logan explained. "I, too, had a great dream, just like Walt Disney's... But then, it all fell apart. I wanted to create awesome movies, series, games, absolutely everything, and all with my friends..." Using his magic, he made an old sketchbook appear and started running through old, innocent drawings - both fan arts of Disney characters and some of his own creations. Sighing, he made it disappear again when he reached the drawing that cost him everything. "Forget it. There's no point on remembering the past; what's done is done."

Woody stared at the human, placing a plastic hand on his shoulder. "Logan, can I give you some piece of wisdom? There's nothing wrong reconnecting with your past from time to time. Most people try to leave their past buried and forgotten, whether it be a song they liked when they were young, but don't like today, or an experience they're ashamed of. But what's important to remember is that every aspect, positive or negative, plays a role in who we are today."

"You said that your life was different, not so long ago? I can say the same: it feels like it was yesterday that Andy played with my friends and I all the time. While the idea that everything and everyone that brought you happiness are no longer part of your life can be painful, it can also help to reflect on who you used to be and how far you've come, it gives you experience you can share with other people, and offers closure." When he saw that Logan didn't look better, Woody sighed. "Listen, Logan, I don't know what happened to you, but as they say, time can heal everything. It can be unfinished business or a broken relationship, but you shouldn't let the wrong of the past prevent you from enjoying your happy memories. I once met a toy who became so obsessed with the pain of his past that he could no longer experience the joy of the present. Trust me, you don't wanna become like that."

The smile that Logan gave him made Woody understand it didn't completely make him feel better, but he still appreciated the advice. "Thanks, I'll try to remember it..." He suddenly widened his eyes and turned his head. "Something's coming!"

At the same moment, Destiny came running towards the duo. "Guys! Guys! Heartless! There are Heartless everywhere!" Indeed, Heartless appeared across the entire room. There were Shadows, Large Bodies, Soldiers, Toy Troopers, Powerwilds, Bizarre Archers, Vermillion Sambas, Air Soldiers, and Popcats.

Logan annoyingly rubbed his eyes. "Why can't we go anywhere nor do anything without Heartless attacking? Guess that's the price to pay for being a Keyblade Wielder. Anyway, let's protect all the civilians and characters who can't defend themselves!"

"Should we go help those in the other parts of the center as well?" Destiny asked.

"No; there are plenty of characters - Ant-Man and Indiana Jones, for example - who can defend the people. Can't say the same thing about this part," Woody said. "Don't let any of them approach the civilians!"

As Destiny and Woody ran off to protect the panicking visitors, Logan stayed to face an incoming crowd of Heartless. Far from looking intimidated, the young man grinned and cracked his extremities, like he was about to do some exercise. When a Shadow jumped at him, he simply delivered a pro wrestling chop that turned it into dark dust. Logan's wrestling offensive was already strong on its own, so Anubis' Khopesh made it even more effective. All the Heartless attacking him were taken out by Logan's chops, punches, clotheslines and knee strikes. At one point, he even single-handedly lifted a Large Body over his head and tossed him into a crowd of smaller enemies.

An Air Soldier charged at a cornered visitor, only to be taken out by a water blast from Destiny. She was using not only water vapor for her attacks, but also the various drinks from the snack stands and restaurants around. "Quick, run with the others to the conference room: there's plenty of people who can protect you there," she told him after helping him back up. The humanized whale launched her fists forward to send water blasts at the flying enemies. While she didn't touch all of them, her precision had greatly improved thanks to her training with Percy Jackson.

"If we're to defend the greatest Disney fan event, might as well fill my pockets while we're at it," Logan mumbled with a grin as he summoned his Quackpot Keyblade and shot Golden Fireballs that turned his enemies into coins. His new Keyblade had the special ability of attracting all the coins like a magnet and allow him to stock them in a designed bag he created with his Magical Sketchbook. Sure, coins themselves weren't that efficient with the Magical World's economy, but he could always trade them for dollars later on.

Woody fought off the invading Heartless with punches and shoulder tackles. At one point, a Vermillion Samba shot a fire spell at the toy, which he managed to avoid at the last second. "Hey! You almost melted my plastic there!" The sheriff took out his lasso, caught the floating Heartless with it, and then brought him close enough to take him out with a barrage of punches.

Many enemies surrounded Destiny, but she did not panic for more. Rather, she created a water bubble around herself that she then split into seven water tentacles, using all of them to smack away the Heartless coming from every direction. No matter how many charged, they couldn't break through her defense. Once their number dropped low enough, she gathered her seven tentacles together and created a pillar of ice that she then smacked with her tail, sending ice shards that took out the remaining Heartless.

"Yes! That's 70-0 for the Water Magician!" she beamed.

All the invading Heartless had been defeated. However, if the heroes thought the day was saved for more, they were wrong. A lot of darkness energy gathered high in the air, taking the form of a huge, purple UFO toy. "Oh no!" Woody exclaimed. "I know this guy!"

"It's the King of Toys, from Kingdom Hearts 3!" Logan said, having also recognized the new enemy. "After the beating you, Buzz and Sora's group gave him, I wasn't expecting to see him again. It's the perfect chance to fight him outside the video game!"

The King of Toys began floating around whilst shooting missiles at the group. Destiny blocked some of them with ice walls, whilst Logan countered others by destroying them with green fireballs. Unfortunately, attacking was an entirely different story; with a defensive barrier around the round edge, the King of Toys could only be attacked on the head, located on the very top.

"Destiny! Remember what you did with Dory at the end of your film, when you wanted to help her get on the bridge?" Logan asked. "Well, let's do that now!"

The humanized whale hesitated to remember what her boyfriend was talking about, before smiling. "Okay!" She allowed Logan to get on her tail and curl up in a ball before throwing him up in the air. He successfully landed on the Heartless and began hitting his head with Anubis' Khopesh. Eventually, the UFO creature got tired and performed a series of flips to knock the young man off his head.

Angered by the damage he had taken, the King of Toys charged up energy and shot an electric beam that created a shockwave on the floor, knocking the trio back. Thankfully, this attack didn't hurt too much, and they could keep fighting with no problem. The King of Toys kept floating around whilst shooting missiles everywhere, causing a lot of damage to the room. Good thing everybody had been evacuated by that point.

Logan eventually got tired of chasing after the Heartless and got another idea. "Hey, Woody, are you in the mood to play some Toy Story Mania?"

This question earned a confused look from the sheriff. "You really think it's the right time to think about this?"

Taking out his Magical Sketchbook, Logan drew and summoned a ride made of magic that was modeled after the Toy Story Mania game ride. "I beg to differ," he mused, taking place inside the magical ride, and inviting the toy hero to do the same. Soon, the two of them chased after the King of Toys, shooting at it with their respective blaster whilst avoiding missiles and electric beams.

"Wooo!" Woody beamed. "Who said fighting bad guys can't be fun?!"

"I 100% agree!" Logan said.

By the time Logan's magic ride came to an end, the King of Toys took a lot of damage and fell into a state of anger. He created an electrified tornado around himself and began charging over and over again into the trio at tremendous speed, causing thunder damage. Even Destiny's ice walls could not stop his charges, and his speed made it practically impossible to fight back.

"Don't you think now would be the right time to try this new trick you said you could do with your clothes, Logan?" Destiny asked as she recovered from the last hit.

"What? You mean using my Drive Form?" Logan asked. "Yeah, good idea! Woody, get ready; I'm gonna need to absorb you to activate my Valor Form! Don't be afraid; it's temporary!" Logan focused and tried to tap into his Drive ability to reach Valor Form... But then, he felt something else - something that wasn't his Valor Form. Strange. It was like a mix of nostalgia, happiness and sadness. The nostalgia he felt that day while remembering all the joy from his days as a young man dreaming of working one day for Disney's studios, the happiness and excitation of discovering every upcoming Disney projects, and the sadness of all the things that once made him happy, but weren't there anymore. Combined together, they took a form on the same plane as his Valor Form. He could feel it... and touch it...

"Okay, Sora explained to me how it works once! Make it quick!" Woody complied and held his hand out for Logan to absorb him. The Dream Defender, however, raised his hand in refusal. "What?"

"It won't be necessary; I have another trick to use." With a grin, Logan held his Quackpot Keyblade forward as his body started emanating a black energy with a red outline, disappearing behind it. Once he re-appeared, his appearance was completely different. His attire was now dark blue and black in color, with his lower legs, feet, forearms and hands covered by protections that looked like parts of a dark blue exoskeleton. He had a dark blue, oval item stuck to his back. A round, dark blue beetle mask covered all of his face, safe for his eyes that could see through two small holes. This mask had a little arrow-shaped horn on the upper part and what looked like a purple tribal mark on the right side of it. Through the holes, one could see that the white of his eyes became golden-yellow and his brown irises were now completely black.

Destiny and Woody stared in surprise at their human friend. "Lo...gan...?" the whale asked, surprised by her boyfriend's new appearance.

He stared at her with a grin (that no one could see behind his mask). "It's awesome, Destiny! I already have acquired a new Drive Form!" he beamed. Reaching his hand forward, he summoned a whole new Keyblade to match with his new appearance. The handle and blade looked like those of a katana, the former of which was covered in a green wrap, with the tip floating in the wind. The guard of metal took the form of a half-moon that covered only one side of the handle whilst leaving the other unprotected. The curved blade was pale as milk, the key wards at the tip looking like the mandibles of a bug. An interesting detail to notice was the lack of a keychain.

"Care to explain what all of his is about?" Woody asked.

"Sorry, Woody, but since I'm new with the Drive Form stuff, I can't maintain this form for long; I have to end this quick!" Logan replied.

Opening the oval object on his back, Logan revealed a pair of bug wings that he used to take off in the air. He managed to cut through the electromagnetic tornado around the King of Toys and began swiftly and quickly slashing at his head with his new Keyblade. He eventually knocked him off his form and tried to keep his distance while shooting missiles at Logan. This was futile, however, as Logan dodged them all with ease thanks to his enhanced speed, sometimes even cutting them into pieces. His new Keyblade could shoot slashes of black magic with red outlines.

"Whoa, he's moving even faster than before!" Destiny exclaimed. "His magic attacks seem to have changed as well."

The King of Toys was outclassed - even his electromagnetic tornado attack could not touch Logan. This last one appeared above the Heartless once he stopped attacking. "As much as I'd like to keep this fight going and discover the extent of this form's possibilities, I'm not experienced enough to keep it going for long. So I'm gonna have to end this in one go." Holding his Keyblade forward, Logan allowed it to absorb and condensate his magic energy, concentrating it everywhere. Then, the black and red-outlined energy emanated from the blade in a huge quantity. "Here I go! BUG'S BITE!" Logan lifted the weapon over his head and, with one swing, sent a gigantic wave of magic energy that briefly took the form of an intimidating bug's face before colliding with the King of Toys, the power of the attack turning him into darkness dust.

Having used all of his Drive Form's energy, Logan turned back to normal and began falling towards the floor. Thankfully, Destiny managed to catch him in her arms before he could crash. "Thanks, Destiny."

"Logan, that was amazing!" the whale beamed as she kissed her boyfriend. "Was that the Valor Form you told me about?"

"Not exactly. This one was called Limit Form, it's a different one," Logan explained. "Valor Form requires me to absorb a friend with a great physical strength so that my attire can turn red and allows me to fight with two Keyblades at once. Limit Form, on the other hand, allows the user to access techniques and abilities from his or her past. Disney, Pixar, Marvel and co. have all been part of my entire life. I guess spending a whole day around their upcoming projects, seeing how everything works behind the scenes, brought back memories from before, reminded me a lot of things I loved and made me sad, allowing me to connect to my past. That's my hypothesis, anyway."

"Okay, but why did your new suit look like a beetle? Did you like collecting bugs before?" Woody questioned.

Logan chuckled a bit, still in his girlfriend's arms. "Forgive me, but to explain it, I'd have to do some fourth wall breaking. Long story short, I once made a beetle character with which I would always make all sorts of works. I guess that's where my Limit Form takes from."

"What about the Keyblade you used? It's new, right? How's it called?" Destiny asked.

"It doesn't have a name; this Keyblade is entirely new and exclusive to my Limit Form." Logan rubbed his beard as he thought about it. A smile then formed on his face. "Since I'm its creator and get to name it, how about... 'Bug's Justice'?"

Author's note: Before you point it out, I know; in the last 'Next time' line, I only said that Logan would get a wardrobe change and didn't mention the D23 Expo whatsoever. True to be told, I wasn't sure what the whole chapter would be about, all that I knew was that I wanted to introduce Logan's new outfit in the chapter; the how only came after. Sorry if you guys were expecting to see Silver or something.

I watched the D23 Expo during the weekend; it was AMAZING! Logan's opinion in this chapter pretty much reflects my personal thoughts - which I won't go through, because this AN would never end. So, instead, I'll just say this: THUNDERBOLTS, MIDNIGHT SUNS, MUFASA & AVATAR! What announcement/reveal at this year's D23 got you most excited?

Logan's Limit Form is a reference to a former work of mine. TheDragonSaver is probably the only one who caught it without the need for an explanation. Basically, I once wrote fanfictions with a beetle OC whose powers and fighting style were based on Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach (I was in my Bleach phase during that time). It's been a while since I wanted Logan to start using Drive Forms from Kingdom Hearts, Limit Form being my first choice since it'll allow me to give Logan powers based on my fanfictions of the past.

Next time: Time to bring some beat to the Pride Lands!
