We continue the fight between Lincoln and Luna, and Lincoln's friends eventually learn more about the mysterious Mary Sue.

*BOOM!*

Lincoln was sent flying to the side as Luna floated down to the ground, looking down at her brother with slight disappointment as Rosie stared from the sidelines.

"Rosie, I don't think this is gonna work," Luna stated, facing the lovechild as she did. "Lincoln might be a man of many talents, but quickly learning the full potential of his Cliche seems a bit too much for him."

"Nonsense, I know my father better than anybody else," Rosie proudly answered. "If anybody can unlock the full potential of their Cliche in a ridiculously short time, it's him! Now keep going with the beating!"

Luna narrowed her eyes and paused... before her eyes glowed, all while staring at Rosie, who dashed out of the way before Luna shot an eye laser that caused a big explosion, sending the girl flying to the side.

"What are you doing!?"

"You told me to continue the beating," Luna's eyes glowed again. "You didn't tell me to continue focusing on Lincoln."

Luna shot her eye lasers once again, and this time, Lincoln was the one to dash and take Rosie out of danger, white electricity surging through him before he shot it at Luna, who casually smacked it away with a casual look.

"Luna, you know the rules," Lincoln whispered with a disapproving tone. "You're supposed to attack me, not Rosie. How else will I learn how to summon On the Edge if you don't!"

Luna folded her arms. "Lincoln, you have potential, but there's only so much you can do. Fighting to the death like this isn't going to work; I mean, I'm not even going all out, and already you're tired!"

Lincoln took a deep breath, then took a battle stance, all while Rosie hopped off to the sidelines once more. Seeing her brother's determination, Luna took a deep breath and cracked her knuckles.

"So be it."

Back with Lincoln's friends and Carlota, the former stood shocked at the frozen image of Mary Sue, whose piercing expression struck fear into all of them. Well, except for Carlota, who quickly turned to look at something else.

"I know it's just an image, and that this... thing is long dead," Cristina said. "But just this image is making me feel so terrified right now."

"Hey, can't you show something else?" Clyde asked the Trainerbot, jabbing it in the shoulder. "That can't possibly be the only thing

"What does all of this have to do with Mrs. Shrinivas' plan?!" Ronnie Anne exclaimed as she paced back and forth. "I can't connect the dots!"

Ronnie Anne casually punched the Trainerbot, and this caused it to glitch before changing the image to show Mrs. Shrinivas and Sue working on something involving blueprints. Well, the former was working, the latter was speaking to the camera:

"The Mary Sue is the pinnacle of Cliche wielders. Indeed, it could be very well described as the ultimate lifeform. A being that stands at the very top of every food chain in existence."

The woman grabbed the blueprint in the middle of Shrinivas' study, earning a disapproving glare from the woman.

"And with this experimental blueprint, Shrinivas and I will manage to make her rise again! To erase the tyrannical Index System and bring about World Peace to existence!"

Sue clasped her hands together and flashed an unnerving, yet sincere smile.

"And everything will be much better once the system gets toppled!"

Clyde's eyes widened. "The system gets toppled?"

"Um, guys?"

The trio turned around and saw Carlota looking at something with wide eyes.

"Come here for a second."

The trio obliged, and what they saw sent shivers down their spines; on the table in front of Carlota were unveiled blueprints involving some sort of large machine, with a few specific phrases strung around:

Experimental Cliche container V1.

Multiple Cliche containment and assimilation; required.

Assimilating minds of Cliche users within it; optional.

Insertion of Cliches into Cliche User; required.

Silencing of minds within Cliches in case consciousness of previous users appear; required.

Name of project: Harbinger.

"That madwoman, now it makes sense: she's trying to create an artificial Mary Sue to topple the Index System!" Ronnie Anne exclaimed. grabbing and taking a closer look at the blueprints. "The system keeps upgrading every other day, so even when their defenses are taken down one day, they'll just be back stronger than ever."

Clyde scratched her chin. "So the only way to take down the Index System is to create something strong enough to not only wipe out their defenses, but do so in a way that breaks them beyond repair."

Carlota frowned. "And the only being capable of doing that is Mary Sue. Or at least, a Mary Sue."

"And I will create a new Mary Sue."

The group flinched and turned around, their hearts sinking as they saw a certain person standing near the hallway they came in. The one person they didn't want to see at this moment in time.

Mrs. Shrinivas.

"And nobody is going to stop me."

Back at the Loud House Backyard, Lincoln was sent crashing on the ground, rolling until he hit a tree a white electricity surged through him. Luna sighed sadly, looking at her bloodied fist before looking back at her beaten brother, who shivered as he tried to stand up.

She looked back at her fist... and then appeared in front of Rosie, growling:

"How is this supposed to help my brother!?"

"I-It's going work! I promise-!"

"I DON'T WANT AN EMPTY PROMISE!"

Luna slapped Rosie hard enough to send her flying into the tree, knocking some teeth out of the lovechild before grabbing her by the neck of her shirt and lifting her, floating slightly up as Lincoln tried to get up once more.

"Look at your father right now! My brother, beaten black and blue, weakened and no closer to achieving his full potential! Doesn't it sicken you to see him like this!?"

"I-It does-"

"Then why keep going!?" Luna shouted, tears forming on her eyes. "Why keep having me beat up your father in order to unlock his full potential!?"

"It's the best chance we have of him to do it!" Rosie answered. "If this doesn't work, it might be a while before we get another guess as to how to unlock it!"

Hearing that, Luna's eyes widened. "A guess?"

Rosie winced, but before she could say anything, Luna grabbed her neck and strangled.

"You had me beat up my brother to unlock his full power, and it's nothing more than a guess!?"

"It's... the only... way...!" Rosie exclaimed. "If Dad... doesn't achieve... On the Edge... he won't be... strong enough for... whatever comes next!"

Luna gritted her teeth, then raised her fist, fully intent on punching the lovechild in the face...

Right before Lincoln jumped up and headbutted her hard enough to make her drop the lovechild, who hit the ground as Luna floated back down and touched her nose. She rubbed her fingers against it... and saw something on her fingertips that shocked her.

"Blood?" she uttered. "He... made me bleed?"

Rosie smiled slightly as she stood up. "That strength can only mean one thing!"

The lovechild clenched her fists and perked up as she took a closer look at Lincoln as he began get back up...

"Wait..."

Lincoln's form pulsed and he slowly stood up, fingers twitching as more and more electricity surged through him.

"Nonono! This isn't right!" Rosie panicked. "Something's gone wrong!"

"What are you talking about?" Luna asked bluntly. "He's assuming a transformation that's close to a super form as a result of great trauma and stress. Isn't that what we're trying to do? Get him to access On the Edge?"

"Yes, but it seems I miscalculated this version of my Dad's strength to handle the full extent of Edgelord!" Rosie answered worriedly as Lincoln's electricity grew more and more volatile. "I thought he'd be able to handle it, that he'd be able to use On the Edge just by getting stressed, but I was wrong!"

Hearing that, Luna's eyes widened in shock as she turned back to her brother, looking progressively worried as Rosie spoke:

"This isn't On the Edge..."

Lincoln slowly raised his head, showing bulging veins and his skin becoming pale.

"This is Over the Edge!"

Lincolns opened his eyes, revealing they were completely white, right before he flashed a row full of sharp teeth and screamed:

"GRAAAAAAAAH!"
