Ash woke up early the next day, excited to learn more about pokemon and more importantly the blue energy field he created which was called Aura. He quickly ate his breakfast and once his mom was sure that Ash was not sick, she let her son go to the Coral but not without scolding him not to do anything reckless like yesterday.
"Good morning, boys," Professor Oak said as he entered the lab. "Today, we're going to talk about one of the most important aspects of being a trainer: battling."
Ash and Gary's eyes lit up. They had been eagerly looking forward to their first real battle, and they hoped the professor would give them some tips on how to succeed.
"Before we get started, I want to make sure you understand the three basic types of Pokemon moves: Physical, Special, and Status," Professor Oak explained. "Physical moves use the attacker's physical strength to damage the target, while Special moves use the attacker's special abilities, such as fire or electricity. Status moves, on the other hand, don't deal direct damage, but can affect the opponent's stats or status conditions."
Ash and Gary nodded, listening carefully.
"Now, let's talk about strategy," the professor continued. "When you're battling, you need to consider a number of factors, such as your Pokemon's type, its moves, and its stats. For example, if you're facing an opponent with a type advantage over your Pokemon, you might want to switch to a different Pokemon that has a better chance of winning. Or, you might use a Status move to lower your opponent's stats and gain an advantage."
The professor went on to explain various battle strategies and tactics, drawing from his years of experience as a Pokemon trainer and researcher. Ash and Gary took notes and asked questions, eager to absorb as much knowledge as possible.
Finally, as the lecture came to a close, Professor Oak turned to the boys and smiled. "Remember, being a good trainer isn't just about knowing facts and figures," he said. "It's about using your creativity and ingenuity to come up with unique and effective strategies. And most importantly, it's about building strong bonds with your Pokemon and treating them with respect and care."
Ash and Gary nodded, feeling inspired and motivated. They couldn't wait to put what they had learned into practice and start their journey as trainers.
It had been a long day of training for Ash, and he was exhausted. He went to see Professor Oak, hoping to learn more about aura and its history. "Professor Oak, can you tell me more about aura and its origins?" Ash asked.
Professor Oak thought for a moment before responding. "Well, Ash, aura is a mysterious and ancient force that has been around for thousands of years. Its origins are shrouded in myth and legend, and much of what we know about aura has been passed down through stories and folklore."
Ash was intrigued. "What kind of stories, Professor?" he asked.
"Stories about legendary Aura Guardians and their exploits," Professor Oak replied. "One such story is about a man named Sir Aaron, who was said to be one of the greatest Aura Guardians of all time."
"Tell me more about Sir Aaron," Ash said, his eyes wide with curiosity.
"Well, from what I've heard, Sir Aaron was a legendary Aura Guardian who lived in the Kingdom of Rota many years ago," Professor Oak began. "He was known for his incredible aura skills and his ability to communicate with Pokemon. Legend has it that he even had a special bond with Lucario, much like the one you have with the Lucario egg."
Ash listened intently, fascinated by the story. "What happened to him?" he asked.
"That's where the story gets a bit murky," Professor Oak replied. "Some say that Sir Aaron sacrificed himself to stop a great disaster from happening, while others say that he simply disappeared without a trace. It's hard to say for sure what happened, as there are many different versions of the story."
Ash pondered this for a moment. "Do you think there's any truth to these stories, Professor?"
Professor Oak shrugged. "It's hard to say, Ash. Like I said, much of what we know about aura and its history is based on stories and legends. But if you're really interested in learning more, you might want to consider travelling to the Kingdom of Rota yourself. Who knows what you might discover?"
Ash smiled at the idea. "That sounds like an adventure, Professor. Maybe someday I'll do just that."
Professor Oak smiled back. "I have no doubt that you will, Ash."
It had been six months since the Lucario and her egg had been staying at Professor Oak's lab. Ash had formed a strange connection with the egg, often visiting Lucario and staring at the egg, feeling a strong connection with it.
He couldn't explain why he felt so drawn to the egg, but he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something special about it. He would often sit and talk to Lucario about the egg, trying to understand what it meant and why he felt so connected to it.
"Lucario, I noticed that your aura seems stronger than before. Can you tell me more about it?" Ash asked.
Lucario nodded, and then began to speak. She told Ash about her past, how she had trained to become an Aura Guardian, and how she had honed her abilities to sense and manipulate aura.
Ash listened intently, asking questions whenever he needed more information. He was fascinated by the concept of aura, and he could feel a strong sense of excitement building within him.
"I never knew that Aura Guardians existed. It's amazing that you were trained to control aura," Ash said in awe.
Lucario smiled, pleased that Ash was taking such an interest in aura. "Yes, it is a unique and special ability. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to become an Aura Guardian."
"Lucario, I've been studying aura since I met you. Can you teach me more about it?" Ash asked, his eyes filled with curiosity.
Lucario nodded, and then began to speak. "Aura is the life energy that exists in all living things. It's what makes us who we are and gives us strength. As a Pokemon, I have been trained to sense and manipulate aura. It is a skill that is unique to a select few Pokemon, and it takes a lot of training and dedication to master."
Ash was fascinated by Lucario's words. "Can you teach me how to sense aura?" he asked.
"Of course," Lucario said, and she closed her eyes. "Focus your mind, Ash. Feel the energy that surrounds us, the energy that flows within us."
Ash took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He focused his mind, trying to feel the energy around him. Suddenly, he felt a tingling sensation throughout his body.
"I feel it," Ash said excitedly. "What do I do next?"
"Next, you must learn to control the aura," Lucario said. "This takes time and practice, but with dedication, you can learn to use your aura to protect yourself and others."
Ash was eager to learn more. "Can aura be used in battle?" he asked.
"Absolutely," Lucario replied. "In fact, many Aura Guardians use their aura to enhance their physical abilities and to sense their opponents' aura. It is a powerful tool in battle."
Ash's mind was racing with possibilities. "What about using aura to heal others?" he asked.
Lucario smiled. "Yes, aura can be used to heal injuries and illnesses. It takes a great deal of skill and concentration, but it is possible."
Ash was amazed by the potential of aura. "Can you tell me more about your training as an Aura Guardian?" he asked.
Lucario nodded. "I was trained by a wise old Aura Guardian who taught me everything I know. We trained together for many years, and I learned to sense and manipulate aura in all its forms. It was a difficult and challenging journey, but it was also very rewarding."
Ash listened intently, fascinated by Lucario's story. "What are some common mistakes that people make when learning to use aura?" he asked.
Lucario thought for a moment before responding. "One common mistake is to try to use too much aura at once. This can be dangerous, as it can cause physical and mental exhaustion. Another mistake is to try to use aura without proper training or guidance, it is advised to start using your aura when you have a Riolu and the user and the pokemon form a bond which helps them in communicating with each other as well as growing stronger. It is important to learn from an experienced Aura Guardian in order to avoid making mistakes that could be harmful to yourself or others."
Ash nodded, taking note of Lucario's advice. "What kind of exercises can I do to improve my aura skills?" he asked.
Lucario smiled. "There are many exercises that can help you develop your aura skills. One exercise is to meditate and focus on your aura, trying to sense its flow and intensity. Another exercise is to practise manipulating aura, such as by moving objects with your aura or using it to enhance your physical abilities. The key is to practise regularly and to be patient with yourself."
Ash nodded, understanding the gravity of Lucario's words. He was determined to learn more about aura, and to become an Aura Guardian himself one day.
It had been six months since Ash and Gary Oak began their journey to become trainers under the tutelage of Professor Oak. The two boys had studied hard and learned a lot during their time at the professor's lab, and they were eager to continue their education. Ash would spend his mornings at the coral where he would learn under Professor Oak and ask Lucario more about Aura. He would also take time to care for the egg along with Lucario. He would often be found near the egg polishing it with a cloth. He was very excited for the egg to hatch soon, as Professor Oak had just revealed that the egg was fully grown and ready for hatching!
One day, as Ash and Gary were sitting in the lab, Professor Oak entered the room. "Good morning, boys," he greeted them with a smile. "I have some exciting news to share with you today."
Ash and Gary looked at each other, curious to know what the professor had in store for them.
"Recently, a new type of Pokemon has been discovered," Professor Oak began. "It's called the Fairy type, and it has some unique characteristics that set it apart from other types."
Ash leaned forward in his chair, interested in learning more. "What kind of characteristics?" he asked.
"Well, Fairy-type Pokemon are known for their grace and beauty," the professor explained. "They are also particularly strong against Dragon-type Pokemon, which is something we haven't seen before. In addition, they have some powerful abilities that can make them formidable opponents in battle."
Gary raised his hand. "How do we recognize a Fairy-type Pokemon?" he asked.
Professor Oak smiled. "That's a great question, Gary. Fairy-type Pokemon are typically small and cute, with a gentle demeanour. They often have pink, white, or pastel coloured fur or wings."
Ash nodded, taking mental notes. "Are there any weaknesses that Fairy-type Pokemon have?" he asked.
"Well, they are particularly vulnerable to Steel- and Poison-type attacks," the professor replied. "But they are also resistant to Bug-type attacks, so it's a bit of a trade-off."
The three of them continued to discuss the new type of Pokemon, delving into more details about its strengths, weaknesses, and potential uses in battle. Ash and Gary listened attentively, soaking up as much knowledge as they could.
As the lecture drew to a close, Professor Oak looked at the boys with pride. "I'm impressed with how much you've both learned in the past six months," he said. "Keep up the good work, boys. You'll both be great trainers one day, I just know it."
Ash and Gary smiled, and the latter of the two left, no doubt to create some trouble in the small town. Ash, on the other hand went straight for the room where Lucario was staying in and spent time talking with her while caring for the egg.
As he watched, the egg began to tremble slightly, a sign that it was about to hatch. Ash's excitement grew, and he leaned in closer, his eyes widening with anticipation. Crack! A hairline fracture appeared on the surface of the egg, revealing a glimpse of what lay inside. Lucario quickly knelt before the egg and waited for her child to come, her eyes shining with tears. Ash seeing this quickly yelled for Professor Oak and the man rushed in to the room a few moments later.
Slowly but surely, the crack grew wider, and a burst of brilliant light erupted from within. Ash shielded his eyes momentarily, but his curiosity got the better of him, and he couldn't help but steal glances at the emerging Pokémon.
As the light subsided, Ash's gaze settled on a small, blue creature with distinctive black markings. Its body was sleek and compact, exuding an air of youthful energy. Its large, expressive eyes were a vibrant shade of red.
The newly hatched Pokémon blinked in confusion, taking in its surroundings. Its fur was a beautiful shade of light blue, accentuated by darker blue patterns that adorned its body. Its legs were slender but sturdy, indicating the potential for remarkable agility. The creature's paws ended in sharp claws, hinting at its latent battling prowess. Ash couldn't help but be captivated by the adorable creature before him.
Lucario, sensing her child's arrival, moved closer to the hatchling, her eyes filled with a mixture of tenderness and protectiveness. She gently nuzzled Riolu, guiding it towards Ash. With their eyes locked in an almost mystical connection, the bond between Riolu and Ash began to take shape.
In an instant, a surge of energy pulsed through the room, tangible and awe-inspiring. Ash's own aura responded, swirling and mingling with Riolu's vibrant energy. Their eyes both glowed with an ethereal blue light, reflecting the depth of their connection.
Lucario, ever vigilant, watched this exchange with a knowing look. She recognized the significance of the bond forming between her child and Ash. It was a connection that surpassed words, a union of souls destined to share a remarkable journey.
The Riolu approached Ash with a mixture of curiosity and familiarity, its small frame exuding an air of determination. Ash extended a hand, and the Riolu nuzzled against it, its touch filled with an indescribable warmth and comfort. It was as if they had known each other for a lifetime, united by a shared purpose and an unspoken understanding.
Professor Oak, witnessing this extraordinary connection, approached Ash with a smile of amazement. "Ash, it seems that you and this Riolu have forged a remarkable bond. The aura between you two is unlike anything I've ever seen. It's a testament to the power of your own aura and your unwavering dedication to protecting Pokémon."
Ash nodded, his voice filled with wonder. "Professor, this is incredible. I never imagined that a bond like this could exist. I feel like Riolu and I are meant to embark on an extraordinary journey together."
The professor's eyes twinkled with pride and excitement. "Indeed, Ash. The destiny of trainers and Pokémon intertwine in fascinating ways. I have no doubt that you and Riolu will accomplish great things together. Cherish this bond, for it is a rare gift that few are fortunate enough to experience."
And so, as Ash and Riolu stood side by side, their auras harmonizing in perfect synchrony, they embarked on an extraordinary adventure, united by a bond that surpassed the boundaries of time and space. With each step they took, their destinies entwined, their spirits intertwined, and a legendary journey of friendship and growth began.
