Male: Diavolo
Series: Obey Me!
Bright blue eyes gazed about the ornate room, raven brows furrowed in confusion. It screamed elegant and decadent, dark black walls with accents of gold that glinted in the candle light. Okay, this was not her bedroom. Nope. No way, no how...
Glancing behind her she turned on her heel, her eyes gazing into the darkness, just along her senses she could feel something lurking, watching. Huffing, her bangs ruffling with the action as she flared her powers. She was not in the mood for the brother's games.
It'd been a long day at RAD and she just wanted to relax and unwind, alone. Yes, the brothers were each dear to her for their own various unique reasons but even she had her limits. Between Mammon begging her for money and Asmodeus with his sweet smiles, wandering hands and lingering touches...she needed a break.
She had been half tempted to go nap in the study while Lucifer did paperwork if only to keep them at bay but she knew the elder stoic man would be annoyed once they found her and started pestering her, and in turn him, for her attention. Add in the fact she knew he took pleasure in watching his brothers harass her, often stoking the fires, at least until it imposed on his work.
Instead she had detangled herself from Belphegor's sleepy embrace and snuck off into her own room, throwing up a barrier that should have kept everyone out. Yet here she was...in an unknown room with an unknown being. Whomever was in the unknown room with her lurked, watched and waited, and it only made her bristle more, her powers flickering in the room, a charge filling the air.
"Mah Kagome-chan I love when you do that!" She could only blink as Diavolo seemed to meld out of the shadows and honestly he probably did. He was the future demon king and while she had never seen him anything but smiles and laughter she knew he had to be hiding major power in his lithe from.
"Diavolo?" He gave a broad grin as he stepped before her, his signature red uniform gone, he stood in a black button down shirt, the first two buttons undone, and a pair of black dress pants. His rust colored hair looked a bit disheveled as continued to loosen his white tie that hung limply around his neck. "Where are we and why am I here?" Her voice was light, curious and respectful as she asked her question knowing full well he would tell her the truth.
The man prided himself on his honesty, not once had he ever lied to her, nor anyone that she knew of for that matter. It was a surprising trait that one would not expect of the future king of devildom but it endeared him to her in a way that was uniquely his own.
"I heard from Lucifer that the brother's were being more...difficult than usual. I believe it is due to the red moon and their affections for you, so I decided to bring you here, my room, to allow you to get some well needed rest." He gave her a small smile as he sat on the bed, which she had just noticed, her cheeks flushing a bit as he rubbed the back of his neck, working out the stiffness that had built up over the long day.
The red moon.
It was a time that all those with demon blood tended to become more...bestial, more in tune with their animalistic side. For no matter how human they looked, the truth was that at their very cores they were demons through and through, darker and more intense. It was the same with her yōkai friends in the human realm, and she was a bit embarrassed for not noticing it was the red moon. No wonder the brother's had been so clingy...
"Ah, I lost track of the cycles." Her voice was a lowered mumble, more talking to herself than to the man watching her from the bed. His pale golden eyes shining in the candle light.
His predatory gaze roamed her body, while she was short her curves more than made up for it. She was not as curvy as the native succubus females of Devildom; yet her body was perfectly portioned. Her nightgown was plain white, falling to rest above her mid thighs, the low cut of its neckline granting him a glance at her ample cleavage.
He was almost saddened to see she wasn't in one of the many nightgowns Asmodeus lavished on her. Though with it being the night of the red moon, it was probably for the best. As close as he was with Lucifer he knew that if he hurt his brothers too much he would become irate.
Kagome resisted the urge to shiver, she could feel his gaze trail over her body, goosebumps rising along her pale flesh. Suddenly she felt overly exposed, wrapping her arms around her shoulders she gave a small smile. "Ah, thank you really but I don't want to be a bother. I can just go back to my room and put up another barrier. There's no reason for you to be put out by little old me."
'Little old me.' He wanted to snort, she was anything but some little nobody, she was the shikon miko. All knew of her tale and trails, of her large heart and capabilities to love all regardless of race or alignment. It was why he had sought her out for the RAD program, if any could help bridge the gap between the three races it would be her.
She held an air about her that was all her own. It radiated from the very core of her being and it was more than just her powers. Rising from the bed he approached her, pausing before her small form he lifted a hand to gently cup her face.
"It is not a problem, plus if I could get past your barrier I'm sure the brothers would find a way. They are very determined when it comes to you little bird." He smiled as he felt her cheeks heat up under his tender touch. "Come, you are cold." He let his arm fall to lightly touch her shoulder and guide her towards the bed. Once there he nudged her into the large plush bed.
Flushing red she climbed into the bed, knowing that it was a losing fight, while her nickname was born of affection it was also a sign that he would not bend on his decision, it was as sweet as it was a warning. Settling into the pillows that smelled of Diavolo she could only grin as he pulled the blanket up, much like a parent tucking their child into bed for the night.
His grin was anything but parental as he moved to the other side of the bed, his eyes glowing with power as he removed his tie which was quickly followed by his shirt and pants. Clad in nothing but his black boxers he slid in bed behind her and smirked at the small squeak she let out, her pulse picking up as his hands gathered her shivering body.
He pulled her flush against him, her body soaking up his body heat as he sprawled his large hand over her flat stomach, his other one shifting under the pillow under her head, her own small hands quickly grabbing it as if afraid his hand would trail lower.
She could feel his chuckle more than hear it, rumbling in his chest into her back as he nuzzled behind her ear. "Relax Kagome, no one will disturb us here." His voice was a low baritone as his breath fanned out over her shoulder making a few raven locks shift and tickle her. That's what worried her, that wasn't to say she didn't want to be here, she would be lying if she said she didn't.
She was very attracted to the man behind her, yet she had vowed to not single out one of her many suitors for she knew it would only make things more difficult. Feelings would be hurt, resentments would build...and at the end of everything she would be shipped right back to the human world.
Chewed up and spit out, again.
Her heart couldn't handle that again.
Even so, as his lips placed feather light kisses along her neck she couldn't help but to squirm, her pulse picking up to pound in her ears. She froze as he gave a low groan, his hand shifting to her hip to hold her in place, a light nip to the shell of her ear. "I wouldn't move around to much, its taking everything I have to be a gentleman." Her face was burning and she had no doubt it was a beacon in the dimly lit room.
"Ah, sorry..." He pressed a kiss behind her ear, a light rumble escaping him. "It's fine little bird, get some rest." She could only nod as he buried his nose in her locks, inhaling her scent deeply. The low groan that fell from his lips was the only warning she had as he rolled her over so she was on her back with him hovering above her.
His eyes glowed as the candles all went out at once leaving them in a cloak of darkness.
