Found myself slowing down on this story as I get closer to finishing this arc. I think next time I'll only do one major story at a time and intersperse one shots here and there as a break. For those who've asked and aren't familiar with Sailor Moon, all silver millennium survivors are human, if I begin to integrate non-humans I'll make sure to make it very clear. Welp, let's get to it.
-Story Start-
It was an foreboding atmosphere that found Ranma and Makoto walking the hallways of the Ogino. Deep within reserve power mode, they were met with dark hallways and red visibility lights ever few meters. Makoto shivered a bit while Ranma walked without a care.
"It's like a horror movie."
Ranma chuckled, "Remember, if you hear a scary noise don't go running off alone. That's how they get you."
Makoto latched onto his side, "Best way is to stay with the super strong King then." Next to her Ranma chuckled and lifted her mood a bit. Though her thoughts didn't stop, "You know, even though I've gotten more in tune with my powers since training with you, this'll be something I've never done before. Do you have any advice? I'd never tapped into a planet before but you have after all."
Ranma shrugs, "Thing is, this is a planet that's aligned to you. Much different from what I can really explain fully." Ranma looked up into the dark metal ceiling of the hallway they walked, senses guiding them along to the only other awake human on the station. "Best I can describe it as, is like accepting a warm hug from someone close to you. Or returning home after a long day."
That dampens Makoto's mood again, "Hope not. Home is a pretty lonely place for me. I have the girls sure, but…they can't be there all the time." When was the last time they had all hung out together without it devolving into some type of chaos lately? It had been a while for sure. Ranma wasn't having it however, pausing them as they walked and turning the other girl to face him. "Ra-"
Ranma cut her off as he brought her into a hug, strong arms wrapping around her. Feeling her rest her head on his shoulder as she slowly relaxed into his embrace, the Phoenix King smiled softly. "It's, something like this. Something warm and inviting that you never want to leave. Think you get it?"
Makoto nods slowly though she doesn't leave his arms, "Yeah…Yeah I think I get it." Was he always this warm? She didn't want to be jealous of Usagi, but right this moment she was definitely having some feelings about this man holding her. Taking a deep breath, she eventually steps away with a smile, "Thanks."
Ranma grins, "I'm here to help, you know that." Ranma turns and performs a dramatic bow, "Would the princess like to continue?"
Giggling, Makoto starts back down the slowly widening hallway, "Sure thing." They continue on, guided more by senses than anything else. Makoto's spotty reincarnation memory wasn't helping her read signs and Ranma had never been here before. However soon they were finding hallways with more light that led them to a smaller control room with the woman they were looking for. The room was filled with dark computers and banks of quiet monitors on the walls, Ariel sat there, watching a computer screen with a frown on her face. She had pulled her black hair into a ponytail that was pulled over her shoulder. Ranma could tell that she was not a fighter, she twitched and moved like someone used to a desk. Cautiously he knocked on the wall as they walked in. She still jumped, startled by their intrusion.
"Yo!"
"Lady Jupiter! And, my apologies, I do not know of you sir." Ariel was quick to scramble to her feet, the chair she had been in was bolted to the floor but spun to allow her to leave it.
Makoto motioned to the calm looking Ranma, "This is Ranma, King of the Phoenix and husband to our Queen."
Ranma saluted lazily, "Just call me Ranma. It's easier."
Ariel shook her head quickly, bowing deeply at the waist, "I could never my King! My humblest apologies for not recognizing your station."
Ranma turned lazy eyes to Makoto, "Think we're going to be getting that a lot?"
Makoto walked forward, "Probably, they're from the empire and to them practically no time has passed." Makoto reached forward and tapped the woman on the shoulder, "There'll be more information later, but for now I'm here to help bring the station back online, you can help me with that correct?"
Ariel stood quickly, embarrassed that she had forgotten just what they were in the middle of. "O-of course! Please, this way." Hurrying, she led them down a different hallway, this one much wider though no brighter than any of the others, still swaddled in dim red light. "You'll have to forgive me, all available power is going towards life support right now, I've sectioned off as much non-essential areas as I could, but that only did so much. I apologize for the temperatures being what it is."
Makoto raised an eyebrow, "I didn't even notice, so it's okay." She looked to Ranma who was still smirking, "Oh right, Phoenix. Human heater back there."
"First a battery and now a heater. I feel so loved." Ranma chuckled as Ariel led them along. Down long hallways including one that gave them a view through thick windows of the planet Jupiter itself. Almost directly in front of them was the storm, the giant red spot that never faded.
Makoto watched it with wide eyes, "To think I could see this in my lifetime, heh, being a Senshi can be pretty cool."
Ranma nods, "I know what ya mean." He'd seen and done a lot of things since his life as a martial artist had started. Everything now was just a magnitude greater. Watching their view fade as they turned down a different hallway he placed his hands in his pockets. He really had experienced so much for someone his age.
Ariel speaks up in the quiet, having been alone since waking and not being used to that. It was good to be around people again, at least people that were awake. "It was pure luck that the station was in lower Jupiter orbit when the invasion hit. If we had been higher we might have shown up more and been detected by the invading forces. Jupiter's gravity well saved us. We have a sample of citizens from all over the empire onboard since our floating hospital catered to not just the well off, but also many of the more common citizens." Here Ariel's rambling tapered off a bit, "I wish. I wish we could have saved more somehow."
Makoto came forward to stand next to her, laying a gentle hand on the other woman's shoulder, "You all did your best and saved who you could. You are here now, and that's what we have to focus on. Now is the time to recover and rebuild." Makoto thumped a hand to her chest, "As Jupiter's princess, I won't leave anyone behind if I can help it."
Ariel nods, bowing lightly as they continued walking, now much closer to the bridge, "Thank you my lady. I'm…I'm sorry, I guess. It's been a stressful few days. When I couldn't raise anyone with my hails I thought I might be alone like my teacher had been. I thought…"
Makoto smiles softly, "Well you aren't, so lets not focus on the what ifs?" Seeing Ariel nod gratefully, they eventually reach a wide and open space. They had made it to the bridge. There were three levels to the bridge, the first and lowest held rows of computers and control terminals. All currently dark and empty, chairs bolted to the floor as standard for them it seemed. The walkway they were on circled along the wall, taking them to the second floor that had another long row of computer terminals and monitors, again all dark. They walked past these as well, staring out through the massive three floor large display window that showed the darkness of space and the exterior of the station.
Ariel could see their curious gazes as they walked towards the middle of the bridge so they could get to the final walkway. "The bridge was designed so that we could overlook the main hangar bays and landing platforms. With power being low you won't see much, but when power is restored and operations begin again it's a wondrous sight. Why, we've even had the Queen's flagship stationed here once. Docked alongside us for days, we were the talk of the empire for months." Ariel looks at the two who are smiling softly and she realizes she's rambling again. "Sorry, here." She motions to one finally ramp walkway that leads to a command chair on a third level above everything else. "All station functions and the AI get routed through here. Please, Lady Jupiter."
Makoto nods as she assumes the chair and looks at Ranma, "Wish me luck?"
Ranma walks to stand next to her, "You'll get it done, I believe in you."
Ariel motions to the second level computer terminals, "Give me just a moment, I need to activate a terminal here first." Jogging away to a computer to start typing away, she left the two alone.
Ranma placed a hand on Makoto's shoulder, "Remember, start slow. One thing I will say is that linking with a planet can be really overwhelming. I'm guessing you don't need all of its power, just enough to get this station up and going on its own again." Ranma leans back, removing his hand from her, "It'll be like dropping into the ocean, it'll feel like drowning but the planet won't let you."
Makoto smirks, "Seems you've got a pretty good handle on how Senshi magic works, oh great sensei."
Ranma holds back the urge to cuff her on the head, "Blame your Queen. We're connected pretty much all the time and with that we both share both emotions and memories." Seeing Makoto's eyes go wide Ranma waves a hand, "You get used to it, but it's helped us both improve with our magic."
Shaking her head at the absurdity of her sensei and friend, Makoto sees Ariel give her a thumbs up from her computer terminal. Closing her eyes, Makoto begins to feel out with her magic slowly. Like Ranma had said, the connection itself was easy to make, startlingly easy. Outwardly her form shifts to her super form before her magical energy begins to climb even higher. As it does so, metallic armor forms over her forearms and shins. Ranma makes a note of it but doesn't comment as he doesn't want to break her concentration. Makoto ends up smiling, "It's like you said, like a warm hug." Still with her eyes closed the Senshi of Jupiter opened her connection a bit more. It was like coming home, like he said.
Ranma nods, "Now the fun part. You have to hold that connection while finding and connecting with the station. I'd say, try finding something that feels magical but empty. Like a feeling of getting hungry after a real long workout."
Makoto grins, "You and that stomach." She does as he says however. It was like holding onto something with her right hand while reaching out to something far away with her left. It takes her a bit but eventually she finds what she's looking for. Chuckling as his description was pretty close to what it felt like, she began to feed the magical batteries of the station. Around them, slowly but surely first lights and computers began to come online, then the entire station seemed to come alive, a deep hum of equipment and heavy machinery coming online. As she fed more power into the storage crystals, she finally felt some type of power source come alive as well. Feeling that she wasn't needed anymore she broke the connection with the station. She kept herself connected with Jupiter however, not wanting to let go of that just yet.
Below them Ariel is actively typing away at one terminal, Holographic displays coming online as she directed systems to wake from their slumber and she tasked emergency AI for certain jobs. Including waking essential station staff. Normal citizens would be kept in stasis for now until they had everything online. No sense waking everyone when all they had were emergency rations after all. They were waking to an empire on the brink, it'd be best to give them as much normal as possible.
Ranma however starts to get the feeling that he's no longer needed, "Think you'll be good from here Makoto?"
Makoto nods her head, "I should be okay." She finally opens her eyes, light radiating from her as her connection with her planet was still strong, "I have my planet and what few of my people have survived. I think I'll be okay." Here however Makoto reaches out through the ether to connect with him briefly, "You're welcome to stay if you'd like. I think my job well done deserves a reward, don't you think so?" The power from her planet had her soul singing, it was an euphoria she hadn't experienced before. Perhaps connecting with Ranma at the height of that wasn't so smart.
Ranma himself just chuckles and limits their connection though he doesn't break it, "Maybe later, when we don't have a ton of work to do." He does lean forward to kiss the blushing girl on the forehead. "Be good to yourself, take it easy, and call us when you're ready to come back."
"I will." She smiles as he hops back and salutes to her with a grin before he flashes away, his calming fire burning nothing.
Ariel looks back, watching the scene with wide eyes, "That is our King? He seems, calming, in control."
Makoto nods, "He's a good man, though he has been through a lot. Heh. Wait till you meet Usagi. She's the one that'll throw you for a loop."
"My lady I couldn't. I'm just a station tech. Standing before even one of the royal family is a lifetime event."
Makoto shook her head, "Well get ready for a lot of those, because Ranma and Usagi are very into getting things done themselves." With a thought and a whisper from her memories, Makoto brought up several holographic displays from the chair she sat on. It wasn't her palace, but it operated much the same. "Okay, let's navigate to Jupiter station so we can dock and take stock of what we have. I'm sure a few thousand years has not been kind to this place."
"Yes ma'am!"

Ranma found himself back on the Moon, dropping back in the midst of the others as they either talked with each other or, as he looked up to the throne, Usagi and Setsuna spoke quietly to someone on a hologram. Watching Ami type away on her computer while sitting on a floating seat cushion she had summoned from somewhere, Ranma turned to the outers and Rei, "I miss anything?" Michiru was quietly asking questions of Ami as she watched the girl work from over her shoulder and Ami was more than happy to explain. Something to do with Venus he assumed.
Rei shook her head, "Not really. They've been talking to this AI since you left."
Ranma nodded, "Huh, guess I'll go see what it's about then. I get the feeling I'm gonna get used again." Winking at them he was off and away up the throne. Walking up the steps and exuding calm, Ranma eased in next to Setsuna, "What'd I miss?"
"The other distress call came from a research and storage facility in orbit around Saturn. They had done much of the same as the Ogino Station had done, shutting themselves down and putting themselves into stasis." Setsuna eyed him up and down, "That was fast. Was there a quick trip to the gates?"
Ranma shook his head and gave her a flirty look, "I thought that was just for the two of us?" Seeing her flush slightly Ranma turned back to watch Usagi, "No. Makoto got a good handle on it pretty quick."
"That's wonderful and it helps out a lot. The Ogino was just short of an orbital city capable of self sustaining itself for long periods of time. Food production, medical facilities, and even a smaller school facility for long term children patients."
"You said it was just short of self sustaining though, what does it need from the outside?"
Setsuna motioned to Usagi, "Resources and fuel. The magical batteries are an emergency backup, though I'm sure the fusion reactors still have some fuel available for now until it links up with Jupiter station. That station will be capable of refueling and resupplying some materials, though not much. We'll have to start mining and resource gathering again soon. It's good that Usagi and Ami started Venus's biosphere rejuvenation. Food is going to be an issue very quickly. Whatever emergency stores we have won't last long for twenty-five thousand people."
Ranma raised an eyebrow, "I'm guessing this Saturn station had a good number of people as well?"
"Yes, but not as many, again it was more for research and storage. About the only reason they could go into cold sleep at all was because that was what their facility performed." Setsuna was frowning however, there was an issue that might pop up with said station.
Ranma nods and settles in, watching Usagi talk back and forth with the person on the other end of the screen.
"I'm sorry my Queen, my scanners indicate a rather large magical power source nearby."
Usagi grinned, pointing at Ranma and the screen rotated to face said young man, "That's probably Ranma. He's the Phoenix King, and more importantly my husband."
The androgynous face on the other end of the screen bows, "Noted, King Ranma. It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Hades. AI currently in control of the Senshi Saturn containment station and weapons research division. I will add you to relevant individuals who can access my system. List now Includes yourself, Mistress Pluto, and Queen Serenity."
Ranma scratches his cheek, "An AI huh, no one woke up like on the Ogino I guess?"
Hades shook its head, features changing slightly to be something of a mix between Usagi, Setsuna, and Ranma now. Odd. "Power stores are nearly depleted, could not shunt enough power to wake the senior staff. I will require a member of Omega level members to come in person and access my systems in order to re-power my stores and possibly refill my fusion reactors."
Usagi nods at that, "I can have the Queen's Regalia come for a fuel transfer. She's refueled a bit during the Venus terraforming." Usagi is already making preparations to do just that, really getting into the swing of things.
Hades seems pleased, "That would be most appreciated my Queen."
Usagi turns to Ami, "How long do you think it'll take for the Regalia to make it to Saturn Station?"
Ami looked up from her work, Michiru stepping back from her shoulder, "Hmmm….I'd say two or three days at sub-light speeds. I wouldn't recommend fold drives until we have a more regular supply of fuel for the fusion reactors."
Setsuna nods, "There used to be a refinery in orbit around Neptune. We'll have to rebuild one, the original was one of the first facilities hit."
Usagi nods along with all of the information. "Hear that Hades? Three days max and my ship will be there to refuel you. I can send Ranma however to at least get your emergencies back to full so you can begin waking your crew."
"That would be splendid. Once my emergency stores are full I should be able to hold minimal power while waking senior staff for a week minimum. At most a month if I ration." Hades however was getting distracted. With the link between itself and the Moon palace, more information was becoming available to it. "My Queen, about my charge…"
Setsuna remembers what had her worried, and is unable to stop as Hotaru's attention is perked at the mention of charge as she assumed, correctly, that Hades was talking about her. "Oh, do you mean me?"
The terminal hologram turned to face Hotaru nearly instantly. "This is a violation of protocol. Senshi Saturn regulations state that outside of wartime or specialized show of force measures that the Saturn weapon was to remain under stasis at all times. Reference reg code OMEGA 193.00-"
Setsuna cut Hades off as fast as she could, "Hades. Much has changed. That order and regulation has been receded and is no longer valid." Setsuna holds a gentle hand out towards a wide eyed Hotaru, "Saturn is a full member of the team, as she was always meant to be."
Hades says nothing at first, watching and waiting, the hologram carefully blank, before it turns to Usagi, "Please confirm, normal Saturn weapon protocols have changed?"
Usagi nods slowly, "Yes, we don't want her in stasis anymore."
Hades turns to Ranma, "Confirm?"
"Uh, yeah, confirm." A lot of that was going over Ranma's head, but he understood the bit about putting Hotaru to sleep and they wouldn't be doing that anytime soon.
Hades however turned his screen to face Usagi again, "Confirmation complete, stasis regulation of the Senshi of Saturn, no longer designated as the Saturn Weapon, receded. Order removed from the active list and archived for historical purposes. Senior Saturn staff will be notified upon awakening." The screen turns again to Hotaru, "My apologies, Senshi of Saturn, I was unaware of the new orders."
Hotaru was vibrating in place with worry still, but she nodded, "It's okay. My name is Hotaru. It's nice to meet you Hades."
Hades almost seems taken aback that the Senshi would give it her name. "Hotaru…logged and recorded. Thank you for accepting my apology Senshi Hotaru." The screen turned again to face Usagi. "Do you have any further need of me my Queen?"
Usagi shook her head, "No. Ranma should be along shortly to help you recharge temporarily."
"Thank you my Queen, I shall await our King." The screen soon winked out of existence and Usagi sagged in her seat.
"I'm already tired. And that was just an AI."
Setsuna smirked, "It's all new for you. You'll get used to it."
"God I hope not."
Ranma poked the girl in the cheek, "Hey, you volunteered me, but how am I supposed to get to a station I've never been to before? Ogino was easy, I had Makoto as a medium. But who's been to this place?"
Setsuna actually wraps an arm around his own, "That's an easy one. Let's make this quick."
Usagi frowns, "Recharge and come back, no funny business."
Setsuna nods, "No funny business. Got it." She held onto Ranma tighter, "Just serious business then." And then they were gone with a whisper. Leaving Usagi and a thoughtful Minako behind on the throne. Usagi groaned more.
"I just know she's going to twist my words to have her way with Ranma again."
Minako nodded, "She's got a lot of practice at that I think."
"Probably." Usagi has a new thought on her mind, willing up a new screen and pressing buttons tentatively. "While we wait, I wanna try a deeper scan of the solar system. We've found two stations now that survived. Maybe we can find more if we take our time with another scan." Pressing a few more buttons a timer appeared in the lower corner of the display showing the solar system.
Minako looked over her shoulder, "Huh, two days to complete. Guess you're getting your thorough scan."
Usagi nods, "It's something. I want to make sure we aren't leaving anyone else out there. I'd be pretty heart broken if there was someone out there we could help." In another whisper she feels Ranma and Setsuna return. "You actually listened."
Setsuna nods, "You gave me an order." She'd been tempted, really had been. If Ranma had brought it up at all her self control might have slipped.
Usagi however was smiling at her husband, "I didn't get to say it but thanks, for helping out Makoto."
"Ah it was easy enough. She had a good handle on it once she got started." Ranma however adopts a thinking pose before looking at his blonde wife in the eye, "Since we're here, we should probably make a trip to Venus with Minako. Should check on that magical connection for the Phoenix people."
Minako seems to nearly teleport to his side, latching onto his arm and refusing to let go. "You mean it this time? We're going?" She would not be denied this time. She wanted to visit her planet and connect with the hunky boy who had worked his way into their hearts. Yes he was Usagi's, but Minako was nothing if not curious.
Ranma nods slowly as Usagi offers nothing but an amused smile, such a helpful wife, "I mean it. I won't go without you. It's your planet right? That'd be pretty rude."
"That's right! We'll let's go then! Time's a dyin'!" She missed several groans from the others.
Usagi stands, waving away the holograms in front of her, "Ami, we're good to go to Venus right? Anything to worry about?"
Ami shakes her head, "Nothing to worry about. You'll have to get used to greet tinted clouds and a slightly different air mixture, but you won't even notice it most likely at ground level."
Minako latches onto Usagi as well now, "Then let's go. I've been dying for this for what feels like forever."
Usagi shakes her head and turns back to Setsuna, "Please coordinate things here and make sure nothing blows up."
"I'll keep things in order up here. Take your time."
Haruka chimed in as well as they were teleporting, "Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" They missed the elbow to the ribs she received for her efforts.
-b-
True to Ami's words Ranma, Minako, and Usagi found themselves under a bright sky with fluffy looking green clouds. Stretched out before when were wide hilly plains with fields of wild grass and in the distance they could see a massive looking lake. Dancing away, Minako wasted no time in connecting herself with the planet, idly shifting into her super form as a joyous laugh bubbled from her lips. Walking at a more sedate pace behind her Ranma and Usagi held hands as they followed along. Even they could tell Venus was singing along with the happy girl, everything around them seeming to glow and fill with life just that much more.
Minako turns back to the pair, smiling wide enough to show off gleaming teeth, "This is amazing! Is this what connecting with the Moon is like?"
Usagi shook her head, "Somewhat. The Moon isn't teeming with life after all."
Minako giggled and twirled as they made their way along the hills towards the lake, slowly descending into a valley, "This is. Even if it's just plants, it's all so alive! I can't imagine when animals and people come here." She had more of her Senshi memories than the others, but a memory versus the real event really had no equal. She could feel the planet changing more to match her energy and desires, being without life for so long it seemed almost happy to correct that condition.
It wasn't long before they were standing the shore of a great lake where they couldn't see the other side in the distance. Minako was pointing upwards, a pale diamond floating in the sky far away. "It's my palace, can't believe it's survived all this time."
Ranma and Usagi come to either side of her, gazing up and staring in wonder at the reflective space station. "It's just like you, resilient, enduring."
Minako grins, linking hands with both of her friends, "Thank you, for actually coming with me." Her eyes are shining with the magic of her planet coursing through her. In this moment besides the two next to her there was probably no one who could defeat her. She could probably one shot Beryl right now.
Ranma gives in to her desire, linking his magic with hers and feeling himself almost drift off with the planet itself. It certainly accepts him easily enough, much as Minako had. He pokes around a bit before he refocuses on the here and now. Next to him Minako has pulled away from them again, dancing in the cool waters. "Hard to control isn't it?" His voice is calm, steady and grounding.
Minako nodded, "I can't believe you two can connect like this so often. I'm stuck between wanting to fight a legion of youma and rutting like crazy." Shining eyes turned to Ranma, "Is there a both option?"
It is Usagi who giggles and shakes her head, "Let's not turn the bedroom into a battlefield." Usagi can feel Minako reaching out to try and link with her as well, "That's a really bad idea."
Minako shook her head, "Sharing is caring." She did pull back however, reigning in her urges for now. "Kami this is so distracting! How do you do it?"
Usagi shrugs, "We've had a lot of practice, and we did start slow." She meets Minako's gaze with her own, "We didn't dive head first into it."
Ranma is back to concentrating, ignoring the girls for now as he explored his connection with the Phoenix and if he could build one here. It takes a little coaxing, but he finds that indeed they will be able to forge a bond here to sustain them properly. Blinking and coming back into focus again, Ranma meets the inquisitive eyes of Minako and Usagi. "Just making sure the Phoenix can move here no problem. Now to find a mountain."
Minako snaps a finger, "That's easy enough. I'll modify Venus's tallest mountain range to suite them no sweat."
Ranma felt a bead of sweat fall down his temple, "That's a little to much effort, I'm sure we can do something a little less grand."
Minako shakes her head, "Already doing it, I want to make sure we're all as safe as we can be. Since you have people to worry about, I'm going to worry about them as well. Granted there are mountain ranges all over the planet, but I think they'll like this one as it's the tallest. Plus, it's a great spot surrounded by another massive lake. Would make a really cool capital city."
Ranma sighs, just accepting her idea from here on. "You're certainly getting used to your magic quickly."
Minako nods, "I wanna get this done quickly." Focused eyes again trail back to him, "I wanna get to the fun stuff."
Ranma shakes his head and idly watches what he assumes is Ami's ship float by through the clouds, "You're going to get me killed early."
Usagi grins and leans into his side, "Oh like you don't enjoy the idea of two blondes together."
"And to think you used to call me the bed hopper. I'm going to start calling you Pimp 'Sagi."
Usagi leans into his ear, "You love it."
Minako's communicator chimes, drawing all of their attention as the girl pulls it free and opens it. Ami's face greets her, "How are things there Minako?"
Minako grins, "A-okay! I linked up with Venus like you asked and I can feel the terraform process speeding up."
Ami nods, "Good, then we should be on track to begin seeding animal life soon. We'll have to figure out how to transport animals from Earth, but that's a bridge for later."
Ranma comes over into the waters, leaning in to see Ami, "I can always teleport whatever I can from China and around Earth if you want, as long as the numbers aren't anything noticeable. Plus I'm sure Usagi can do the same." Though he was probably the better option. Earth animals would probably respond better to him. Hmmm, he'd need to check if his cat problem was still there. Even now he could think about the furry bastards without freaking out, so maybe becoming a Kami had helped him with that?
Ami however was nodding and already typing away, "Give me a day and I'll give you a list of suitable animals to bring to Venus. I can deal with aquatic life, my ship can cloak and enter Earth's oceans no problem."
Minako nods, "Does that mean I'm stuck here for a while?"
Ami nods, "Unfortunately yes, just for a few days to accelerate the process and stabilize things. You're going to have to remain either on the planet or in your Palace. Said Palace has been resupplied with food and basic necessities, since I had a feeling this would be the case."
Minako nods, "Okay okay, guess I'll just have to make due for a few days alone."
Ami nods, "You and Makoto, we won't leave you alone however, honest."
Usagi smiles sweetly from the shore, "We'll keep you company for now, until it's time to go."
Minako's eyes sparkle as Ami waves and cuts the call. The Venus princess is already grabbing Ranma and rushing to Usagi, "Let's go explore my castle in the sky then!"
Ranma sighed, "I'm going to die."
"No you won't you big baby." Usagi giggled as the trio teleported away, leaving the serene landscape behind for another day.

I've gotten a feedback hoping I cross this over with Mass Effect, which honestly is such a massive universe I'm not sure I could do it justice. I'm still leaning more towards Tenchi Muyo, though that has its own problems. So we'll see. I'll be back to updating this at least once a week soon. Writers block kinda kicked me for a while.
