A/N: Good, good. Seems like people are liking the story so far. Anywho, here's a new chapter. Any questions will be answered on the next chapter. (Warning: Insensitive jokes)

As I trekked my way under the vast green canopies of tall ass trees... Probably spruce and some oak, but I'm not bothered to learn the specifics until someone decide to drill said knowledge into me. Either way, the grin from this morning still hasn't left my face.

I continued playing with my newly found, non-painful shapeshifting. By transforming parts of my body and growing a limb or two... Yes, I can have two juniors, but I ain't be using that anytime soon.

I transformed my hands to a pair of Therizinosaurus clawed arms. Using them to easily slash my way through the overgrowth, and occasionally slicing a slice of meat, off of the Buck I caught.

Said slice then was cooked to perfection with flames coming from my mouth, after I transformed my entire throat and mouth to be akin to a dragon. I honestly surprised myself with the level of accuracy I have with my ability.

Of course, I lose concentration, and I lose the transformation. I need to rectify that soon. As concentrating in a middle of a battle is "Oh shit, not good"

So I need to do it instinctively.

As I moved along, I saw a river. Probably the same river I wash the Buck this morning. However, I question myself this now that why I haven't done it earlier? Answer is excitement. So, with gusto in my step. I kneeled before the edge, and submerged my head underwater.

Immediately, I started with my eyes. Transforming them to an Alligator's eye. I felt the second see through eyelid crawl over my eye, and while it felt yucky, I can now see underwater with limited vision.

I frowned, forgetting about that little fact. But before I could think of something, I turned my cheeks into gills. As my neck isn't submerged. There, now I can breath underwater.

Maybe if I turned my eyes into a Mantis Shrimp's? Maybe that would work?

I did what I theorized and suddenly. My vision was assaulted by colors that wasn't visible to my eyes before. But a few blinks, and the sensation overload got fixed. I still have the Mantis Shrimp vision, and it's definitely a better alternative than an Alligator's. Maybe turn my entire mouth to one, would be a better option.

But, that's for the next time. Pulling my head out of the water, I was surprised to experience no pain whatsoever in my eyes. But the gills had to go though.

However, before I left my spot. I stared at my shaky reflection on the water. My chest felt like lead as my heart twisted itself in sorrow. Tears welled up in my eyes, as the reflection before me twists it face to match mine. Tears also forming.

I wasn't able to properly grieve yesterday, but now that I have some spare time to myself. All of my repressed emotions started welling up inside me and tempted itself to explode out of me.

"Mom, Sis... I miss you *sob* I know you two are grieving for my accident, but I'm still alive. I'm still kicking like a bull, like how you two keep describing me *sob* Gah! I don't know who decided to fuck with me, but I swear! I'll come back! I still owe a lot to everyone in the family back there, and I don't like leaving shit unfinished!"

My voice broke here and there, but it slowly got louder to a yell. I probably alerted those close to my area, but I don't give a damn!

I'm afraid of using my ability to transform to a being that can travel dimensions, as I don't know if I'll end up on my correct dimension. Plus, while this universe is not the best, it's also not the worse. Just some role reversal.

I cleaned my face with the river water, and steeled myself. I know that I might not be able to come back to my family, but I was raised to not be a quitter. My Filipino and American heritage demands me to fight! To only give up when dead! As Grandfather said "To be a Moreno is to be a fighter! A wild Bull Carabao! An unyielding force of nature that will continue striving even with odds stacked high against one!"

Memories of my Grandfather resurfaced, his gentle smile and strong conviction reminding me of the stories he used to tell me when he was a child. Poverty and starvation, bullying from both his siblings and classmates, the lack of faith and belief on him from his own parents. It serves as a reminder that only you can be your greatest ally, with everyone against him. He pushed through.

He continued his efforts, pushed past his limits!l. Hell! Even with barely an education, he became a teacher and started a large farm for himself.

I enjoyed my time with him and Grandmother from my Father's side. Sadly, I couldn't say the same to my Grandparents from my Mother's side.

I shook my head and flared my nostrils, exhaling hot air out of them and huffed. The sight reminding me of an angry Carabao. Which my ability added on by forming the curved sharp horns of said animal on my head.

With renewed vigor and conviction, I stood up from my spot, let the horns disappear, and marched onwards to my future.

Hours passed by, and the rays of the sunset pierced through the trees. A sign that I should set up camp. I repeated what I did yesterday, and set up the Hammock high above the trees. Which was made easier by turning my limbs more akin to a Chimp's.

I drifted to sleep, but the sudden sounds of footsteps that I can hear thanks to me, turning my hearing to that of a Bat's. Annoying at first, due to the massive amounts of crickets. But I quickly got used to it and developed selective hearing. Which allowed me to ignore the less important noise, and to inly focus on anything that may or can harm me.

The footsteps grew louder, and multiplied. Only two things I can get from that. Either there's a chase between Mamono and a civilian, or a Mamono running from Bandits or Poachers... Yes, Poachers exist as I stumbled upon traps on top of traps that are meant to cripple a bear. Meaning, the MGE I landed on is a tad bit darker than the originals... And that's saying something.

I focused my hearing, and surprisingly enough. The footsteps are accompanied by clanging metal plates. So it's an Order platoon chasing a Mamono with or without a Hisband, I can't tell due to lack of experience with my sensitive ears.

I tried to ignore them and let them pass through, when the closer footsteps, aka the Mamono suddenly yelped when a rather loud "Thwack" sound got picked up by my ears, and a feminine yelp came after.

Well, that is something I cannot ignore. Changing my eyes to that of an owl... Aka enlarging the entirety of my head to fit them. I am granted night vision.

I turned my head towards the now whimpering Monster Girl and found myself staring at an injured Vampire? Dhampir? It's either one of the two as its a little confusing sometimes when not in close proximity.

I then turned my head towards the multitude of footsteps from the area the Mamono is glaring at, and found five men with weapons on their hands. They wore mismatched armor, one having full plate, while some full leather, and the rest in between. Two of the men are holding chain cuffs, smiles that can rival the grinch etched on their faces.

A larger more muscular looking one, then stepped forward. I can hear his arrogance just by looking at his scarred face.

"Well, turns out the Noblewoman that visited the Duke is apparently a Vampire that got too big for her britches" He sneered at her.

"Great job hitting her leg, Gustave. You get a little bit extra for this one" He moved forward, disarming the now confirmed Vampire by threatening her with a blade to her heart.

"Nice body you have there, Monster Whore. You'll fetch a high price in the slave market... Or a Brothel. One or the other, either way we get paid" He arrogantly boasted, making the Vampire spit on him. Which he retaliated with a slap and stomp on her wounded leg.

"GYAAAH!" The ear piercing scream grated my ears, as the Mercenary wiped the spit off his face.

"You know what? Just for that, me and the boys are gonna do a little quality check" Blood drained from her face, which is odd in MGE because most other Vampires in other franchises are already pale and you know... Bloodless?

"Undress her boys, we're having fun tonight!" Lecherous smiles formed on his men's faces, and the Vampire tried to escape again, but the pain of her injury didn't even allow her to stand up.

With a frown, I thought of a creature to transform. Until I noticed that all of them are barely equipped for stronger Mamono. Meaning, I can turn into a creature that can be mistaken for a new subspecies for a Wurm.

I jumped down, alerting the men that are more spatially aware. But they thought it was a branch falling as they merely shrugged, before continuing to unbuckle their pants.

I grinned savagely. Excitement and the chance to permanently cripple assholes like these giving me a sense of justification, that breaking their legs is suitable punishment. Ah~ Nora would be proud!

My body became engulfed in multicolored light. I felt my body grow heavier by the moment which forces me on all fours. My human tailbone suddenly grew and elongated, as the tip enlarged to a spiked club. My back became far heavier than my entire body as osteoderms formed, covering my backside in natural armor. My head then squished into a more herbivorous friendly shape, and more esteoderm spikes grew on the sides of my face.

Yep, that's right! I became an Ankylosaur. Specially the species Ankylosaurus magniventris, aka Ankylosaurus. The most well known genus of the Ankylosaurs.

With a deep bellowing growl. I let the Mercenaries know my presence.

"What the fuck is that?!"

"A Wurm!?"

"No way! That thing has legs!"

Ok now that's just rude

"Boss! We aren't equipped to deal with a Monster like that! And judging by how it's in its true form, the bitch must be angry at us for trespassing her territory!"

Smart, he is. But broken legs he get, still. Also, bitch that I am not. Yoda speaking, fun it is.

I quite literally caught them with their pants down, about to violate the Vampire, who is now chained on the tree she was forced to rest on.

"Shit! Everyone get away! Leave the damn Vampire, she's probably that Bitch's target!"

Very rude this one. Oh well. I'll just break his legs to splinters then.

I slammed my club tail on the ground, scaring the ever loving fuck out of them. And not even allowing them to pull up their pants. I charged.

I "softly" hit one on his knee. His unfiltered scream of pain is like music to my ears. Oooh, not even healing magic will fully heal a broken leg like that.

The rest tried to run, but with the one in full plate armor being slower than the rest. I decided to leave a more lasting reminder.

I ran after the one in plate armor, and with a big windup. I swung my tail club. Denting his plate armor so much, that I can see his guts spilling out from between the folds.

Oh, and he's unfortunately stuck on my tail. So with another swing, I flung his corpse at his stunned companions.

With a bellowing roar, they scampered away. Not before I broke the Leader's leg with another swipe, after he tried to sneakily throw a dagger at the Vampire.

I returned to the still chained and most definitely shaken Vampire. Her eyes landed on me and she immediately shook in fear, but got confused after a few minutes of me just staring at her.

She whimpers under my stern gaze, but grew the courage to speak.

"Who- What are you?" She asked, voice shaky and full of apprehension.

I didn't bother speaking. Sure I can modify my throat to be able to talk and sound feminine, but I'm lazy and I need my beauty sleep. Odd due to my choice of hobby back then.

I let out a disarming sound, which she received with uncertainty. To which I rolled my eyes.

She saw me roll my eyes and tried to say something, when I let my tail idly swing by her vision. Which she immediately noticed and closed her mouth shut. You know, this is fun actually.

I then turned around, swung my tail at her, and she braced for impact. Only to hear metal shattering.

I felt my club hit the metal, and I cringed. That was a bad idea, but got the wanted results. Though next time, I'm turning into the Ark's version of a Tek Ankylosaurus.

I saw her gaze at her now broken shackles, before her eyes landed on my being again. Only this time, filled with gratitude and awe.

"Thank you" She softly spoke, before using healing magic on her own wounds. Now, why she didn't use it earlier? Turns out healing magic takes time. Which is understandable.

She finished healing herself, attempted to give me a gentle pat, and I allowed her by gently moving my head under her outreached palm. Of course, being a male still. Her Mamono Mana that passively coats every Monster girl, assaulted my senses. But I held it in.

She then left, a slight limp on her stride, but nonetheless healed enough.

Once she was a considerable distance away. I returned back to my Human form, and sat on the ground.

"I need to be more careful... That was a dumb move by me to accept her head pat... Not that it wasn't bad or anything" I muttered to myself, before realizing what the fuck I just said.

"Great... I'm becoming a Tsundere" I sighed, stood up, climbed back up to my Hammock, and drifted to sleep.

Ah mornings... The bane of all Night Owls and Gamers. How I wish I can turn of the sun like a light switch.

Last night was something I didn't think much, until I saw the splotch of red and almost cleaned dead body of the man in plate armor, being preyed upon by crows.

Honestly, I was already that desensitized by blood and gore when I was a youngling. I mean... Not my proudest moment but I did kill a cat by flicking it's head repeatedly. Damnit, why was I such a psychopath when I was a child!?

I mean, kids are cruel and all that. But damn, I'm one hell of a monster.

At least I didn't play with the outlet, unlike my cousin.

...

I sighed, pushing all the resurfacing memories at the back. With a huff, I picked up my pack and turned my lower body to that of a Deinonychus from Ark. My feathered raptor legs made traveling easier by a long shot, but where does my clothes go? I don't know. They all come back after I return to my Human form.

After almost losing balance, I transformed my arms to the ones that belongs to a Deinonychus from Ark. allowing me stability. Well, enough stability without a tail.

I then transformed my nasal passages to that akin to a Bloodhound, and I was immediately assaulted by multiple different scents. Most of them fishy... Like semen... eugh.

I then singled out a scent, that is similar Humans. Which wasn't far as the scent got stronger. A few minutes of sprinting, which I had to turn my lung capacity to that of a Sauropod... How it doesn't change my overall size, is probably because Magic.

I spotted the end of the forest and transformed back. My limbs almost giving up on me due to the fatigue from running, which is another downside of this admittedly overpowered ability.

After resting for half an hour, I broke through the tree line and found myself en route to a large village. Though I think a small city would be a better choice of words for it.

It's probably the place where the Vampire came from. So it's either an Order ally or non-tolerable towards Monsters. Meh, as long as I don't do something stupid or get caught in a crossfire, that would force me to transform.

Now, while I don't look like any sort of Medieval pilgrim or such, I checked my sack and it is still in good condition. I can probably pass as a Hunter.

That and my large ass knife.

I started moving, slowly so that I wouldn't be mistaken as a threat. An hour later, I arrived at the large gate.

"Halt! State your business traveler!" A rather lanky soldier in full armor stopped me.

"Greetings sir, I am merely a Hunter that is traveling to newer hunting grounds, and I aim to at least sell some of this meat for some money for my travels" I replied, being good at roleplaying when I was a kid helps me sell it a bit.

"Identification"

"Unfortunately sir, I lost mine when I got attacked by a bear when I was camping in the woods"

"Hm, as unfortunate as you are. You must still pay a fee to enter. Three silver and five copper, and after entering. You must register in the Guild for an Identification or, if you want. Become an Adventurer. After all, surviving that forest is a commendable achievement, considering the Monsters and Predators that live there" The soldier said, a hint of awe in his voice.

"Thank you, maybe one day. You will have the Honor of defending your people from the dangers of this world, not just as a Wall Guard. But as a Knight" I can feel him beam at my praise... Bullshitting, that's what it is. Of course, I still paid the fee thanks to those unfortunate men last night.

Once I got in, I was greeted by the old beauty of the place. Cobblestone paths, stone and wooden walls, and of course. Humans. Just Humans. No Mamono. No Order banner or paraphernalia to be found as well. So it's just a Non-tolerance towards monsters then.

I searched around, all the while enjoying the scenery. Then when I found a Butchery, I sold the parts of the Buck and received a fair amount of money.

Of course, The Butcher was impressed with how clean I cut the meat, and well. Not to toot my own horn but. I am, or rather, was. A Culinary Student back on Earth. I still remember butchering a goat... Damn tough as fuck skin.

I apprenticed under my own Uncle, who also studied under the same branch, and graduated there. But has not opened a Restaurant and merely became a House Chef. Which I admire, considering I get to eat delicious food made by him.

That and the idea of being a House Husband just tickles me in the right way.

I got myself a room in an Inn. While a bit on the expensive side, I wasn't planning on staying anyway. I'll have to gather enough resources for my next trek and must prioritize rations and a map.

Though the rations part can be alleviated by hunting... Hehe, I am so going to hunt while taking the form of a Raptor. Or a Rex... Probably an Allosaur.

I stood outside of the Inn. Taking in the medieval beauty of the place once more, and definitely keeping my eye out for a possible raid by a certain Daughter of The Demon Lord.

Oh well, it's the middle of the day. So let's start with some shopping. And by Shopping, we're stealing.

I ran into an alley, checked for everything including any other inhumane scent. Before letting my form be shifted to a small, agile, yet strong form of a creature. A Capuchin Monkey. Small enough to hide in small spaces, fast and agile enough to be unhindered by any sort of obstacles if being chased

"And victim numero uno is!?"

My eyes landed upon a large white building, in more than pristine condition. Nobles left and right take turns going in and out, and a smile crept onto my face.

I mean, it is near the middle of the city. And being a Monkey does give me an advantage through acrobatics. So, without any more hesitations, I started monkeying to get to my destination. Hopefully, I don't get cucked by as sudden Mamono invasion...

I just jinxed myself didn't I? Fuck. I hate my hyperactive mind.

END.
