PPX: Zuma's First Month

Episode seven: Rarely Quiet for a Pirate

It was day nine of Zuma's life in Adventure Bay, and he was at the town pool with his friends as he saw Chase getting ready for a cannonball. "Stand back everyone; and witness the hottest, most lovable German Shepherd of all time, perform a cannonball so amazing, that everyone will be talking about it for years to come!" Chase backed up on the diving board and then rushed forward before jumping on the edge and launching himself into the air. "Cannonball!"

Chase cannon-balled into the water and made a huge splash, causing Rocky to get splashed, which he groaned in annoyance upon the feel of. "Aaaand, I'm wet again."

Zuma was impressed with the cannonball as he swam over to Chase to bring it up. "That was awesome Chase! Can I twy?"

"All yours Zuma." Chase assured Zuma, who went out of the pool and shook the water off of him before climbing up to the top of the diving board. Chase then called up to him with a tip. "Grab onto your knees when you're at the top of where your jump takes you! It'll leave the most impact that way!"

"Got it!" Zuma shouted back, and then he jumped on the edge of the diving board and rose up, grabbing his knees as he descended, except... he started flipping dove down head first by accident. Chase went to check on him, as did the others when they saw, and Zuma rose up as he assured them that he was okay. "I'm all good! Just gotta... not dive head fiwst for a cannonball again."

The others laughed, glad to see that Zuma was okay, and Chase then snickered as he felt a warm spot in the water. "I think I found the warmest spot in the pool over here."

The others were grossed out by what Chase just implied, with Zuma snickering a bit as he realized what Chase meant. "Gwoss."

Zuma was headed home with the others as Chase argued with Skye about what happened at the pool back there. "I still can't believe you did that Chase! At least when you fart near us at the lookout, it's only US who's affected by it."

"Well excuse me for knowing I wasn't gonna reach the bathroom on time." Something caught Zuma's eye in the toy store as Chase continued to defend himself. "Besides, I checked before it started Skye; Zuma and I were the only two in the pool at the time."

Zuma was clearly focused on what he saw in the toy store with the others noticing as Rocky tried to talk to him. "Hey Zuma; how did it-" Rocky noticed Zuma being distracted and signaled the others about it as he walked over to him. "Zuma?" Rocky walked up to Zuma, and he then found out that he was looking what looked like a pirate themed pool boat. Rocky saw Zuma's tail wagging and caught sight as to what he thought about it. "Someone's a fan of pirates."

"I don't know what that is, but I guess I am." Zuma responded, and then he asked the others about it when they went over to where he and Rocky were. "Can we have this thing for the next time we go to the pool? (Gives a please face) Pleeeeaaaase?"

Ryder got a good look at the pool boat and saw that it was within his price range. Granted, pretty much anything was, but this was only like, thirty dollars. "Yeah; I don't see why not. You were good at the pool after all." Zuma cheered with excitement as Ryder advised him to be gentle with the pool boat before he went inside. "Just be careful with it Zuma. Stuff like this can break easily if played with too roughly."

"Got it. Thanks Wyder!" Ryder went into the store, trusting Chase to look after the others as Zuma asked Rocky a question. "Hey Wocky? What's a piwate?" Rocky looked at the pool boat and seemed surprised by Zuma not knowing about pirates. He was so happy when he saw the pool boat that Rocky was under the impression he already knew a lot about them.

Back at the Lookout, Zuma was admiring his new pool boat as Rocky set some kind of pirate book down on the coffee table. Zuma couldn't help but love his new pool boat, even if he didn't get a chance to try it out yet. "Thank you so much Wyder! This is gonna make the pool ten times more fun compawed to now!"

"Happy to help Zuma." Ryder replied happily, and then he noticed Rocky with the pirate book and became interested in why he had it. "What's the book for Rocky?"

"Zuma wanted to know what a pirate was, so I felt it was best to tell him about it from a source." Ryder explained, and then he sat down next to Zuma with the book as he began. "Now this much I can tell you without looking through the book. Pirates were people who sailed the seven seas, often on the search for gold. They're basically a robber who travels by water."

Zuma was instantly hooked as he moved his pool boat to the floor, deciding to admire it more tomorrow as he scooted closer to Zuma. "So they were like my pawents if they could twavel by sea instead of by land?"

"In a way." Rocky answered, glad he was able to fill Zuma in on this knowledge. He then showed Zuma a picture of what the usual pirate attire was. "These are the clothes they would usually wear. Some even wore eye patches for one reason or another." Rocky then turned the page, which showed off some of the stuff pirates used to wear. "Some wore peg legs, and some even had hooks for hands! Although, that last one made it a little harder to eat depending on the hand you lost."

Zuma couldn't help but love what he saw, and Rocky could tell just by looking at him. He didn't know why it happened so quickly, but Zuma was starting to love pirates. Zuma then took notice to how one of the pirates was wearing a peg leg and wanted to know what it was. "What's that wooden foot on the dude on the faw left?"

"That's a peg leg." Rocky stated, explaining to Zuma why some pirates would wanna wear a peg leg. "Some of the pirates would end up losing a foot, and this was before prosthetic hands and legs, so they used these to replace them."

Zuma was definitely intrigued, and Rocky could tell when Zuma asked his next question. "You said they were wobbers who twaveled on the water, wight? Does that mean they wobbed innocent people, or...?"

"Most of the time, no." Rocky explained while laughing softly, knowing quite a bit about pirates in general from all the books he's read on them. "Most pirates would target ships, but a few of them would attack coastal towns." Rocky then sighed as he pointed out something else about pirates that he hoped Zuma wouldn't take poorly. "It's kinda sad to think about it too. A lot of people back then just saw them as swashbuckling and daring, but in reality, most of them were ordinary people who were forced to turn to criminal activity because of what life threw at them."

Zuma started to feel bad for the pirates after hearing that. The last thing he wanted for anyone was to be forced into doing something they didn't wanna do. He knew what it was like too. His life after his parents were taken and before his time with the Paw Patrol was NOT kind to him at all. "You don't think any of them had their pawents taken fwom them too, do you?"

Rocky didn't want to lie to Zuma, despite knowing what was coming next. Ryder put a paw on Zuma's shoulder to help him with this knowledge. "It's possible Zuma. Life had it's cruel moments, even back then." Zuma couldn't help but think about how bad it must've been for pirates. The thought of their lives being taken from them brought despair into his heart. And he didn't even know them. Rocky hatched an idea, picking up the remote and making an offer. "Wanna watch some pirate movies?" That caught Zuma's attention. He did love a good movie.

Rocky and Zuma were looking for a good pirate movie to watch as Ryder set a bowl of popcorn in between the two pups. "You two might be here for a while. And I'll be helping Katie with something, so if you need anything, Chase and Skye should be home unless a mission comes up."

Rocky and Zuma nodded in response with Rocky picking a movie about a young pirate who looked to be in his early twenties. Zuma definitely wanted to know how a pirate could be that young. "Do piwates stawt out this young all the time?"

"From what I've read, no." Rocky explained, and then he saw the synopsis for the movie and found that it was more cartoony than in real life. "Captain Doubloon. Says here he sails the seven seas to take out the evil Thunder Lord." Rocky then snickered a bit as he selected to watch this movie. "Okay, it's not like real pirates, but it should still be good."

Zuma couldn't help but be excited to watch, and this was when Chase and Skye came down from the elevator as Chase was bragging about one of his accomplishments. "And that's the story of how I graciously got Ryder's former college roommate to let me lick his face."

Skye giggled a bit upon hearing that just before Zuma called over to the German Shepherd and Cockapoo. "Hey, Chase! Skye! Wanna watch a piwate movie with us!?"

Chase and Skye looked at each other and then back at Zuma and Rocky, finding the sound of that to be quite appealing as Skye spoke up. "As long as it's not too violent. (Shudders) I can't stand gore."

Chase and Skye sat down with the two of them making room on the couch cushion next to Zuma that he and Rocky left available. Zuma was already excited even before the movie got past the logos. Makes sense; it's been years since he just sat down and enjoyed a movie with those he cared about. He wanted to embrace every moment of it that he could. The main character was then shown to be a black haired pirate with an eye patch, getting out of bed and petting his pet parrot good morning. This sparked another question. "Can I have a pet too?"

"Sure, but you'll be the one taking care of him." Chase warned Zuma, and then he hatched an idea and slyly grinned to Skye. "Ya know SKye, if there does turn out to be gore in this movie, I'm more than comfortable with letting you snuggle up to me. As you know, we German Shepherds have soft fur too."

Skye did like the sound of that, but was also quick to keep in mind how gassy Chase was. "Thanks Chase. So long as you promise not to prank me when I DO end up snuggling up to you, I'll take you up on that offer."

Rocky saw what Chase was doing there and felt it would help to let Zuma know so he wasn't confused. He whispered to him quietly so Chase and Skye wouldn't hear him as easily. "Chase and Skye have been into each other since I think when they met."

"Hehe. Tell me something I DIDN'T figuwe out." Zuma whispered back, and then he gave a smirk and looked back with his butt being shown as he pointed it at Chase and Skye, lifting his leg and...

BRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAT

...a loud and bassy five second fart left his rear end, making his butt vibrate as Chase and Skye were hit with a yellow cloud of rotten eggs. Chase, being the walking gas bag that he was, was able to endure it just fine and laughed it off as he wafted it away. Skye on the other hand, gagged upon smelling the eggy fumes with Zuma grinning cheekily as he shot something at them. "Now, we're even." Chase couldn't help but give a sly grin to Zuma, leaving Skye to sigh in annoyance. She couldn't complain though. She signed up for this the moment she agreed to live with a boy.

About an hour and a half later, the movie had finished with Zuma clearly being shown to have loved what he saw. He was already starting to think pirates seemed cool, and this was just making his thoughts on them even greater. Rocky was first to notice the spark in Zuma's eyes as he expressed his love for the film in question. "That was the coolest movie I've evew seen! Well... the only movie I've seen befowe the owphanage, but I think you get the point! Piwates are so cool!"

Rocky couldn't help but laugh happily a little at how Zuma was feeling as he then brought up a possibility Zuma could face later down the line. "Who knows? Maybe you could meet a pirate in real life later down the line."

Zuma slowly turned his head to Rocky while smiling, and Rocky knew he got the reaction he wanted. Zuma was quick to ask if Rocky was being serious. "Could that weally happen!?"

"In a world like this, anything's possible!" Rocky answered, being confident that Zuma meeting a pirate could still be possible. "Believe it or not, the research I did with Richie showed that all kinds of creatures such as dragons and unicorns still exist. (Zuma's eyes start glowing with stars of amazement) All kinds of stuff could still be out there."

Zuma started squeeing and gushing even harder with Chase snickering a bit as he put a paw on Zuma's shoulder. "Try not to poop on the couch Zuma."

"Please. Don't." Skye requested with disgust towards the idea, and Skye then sparked an idea and hoped that the others would help her with it on such short notice.

Skye laid down some supplies for crafting a costume on the coffee table as she started explaining his idea to Chase, Rocky, and Zuma. "Alright boys, here's the plan." Skye backflipped to the other side of the coffee table as she let the others see everything she laid out. "We're gonna make Zuma his own pirate costume!"

The boys got a good look at the stuff they were using with Zuma instantly loving the idea. "This is gonna be so cool! Okay; do I get an eye patch, a peg leg, or a hook hand?"

Skye then laughed a bit as she responded, "Slow down Zuma." before informing Zuma that they couldn't let him make everything that a pirate had. "The hook hand would be a little hard to make the real deal with. Especially since none of us know anything about making metal." Zuma's face dropped a little, but then Skye showed him the stuff they were using for the eye patch, which lifted his spirits back up. "Let's settle for the eye patch for now, and maybe later down the line, we can talk about learning how to make the other stuff a pirate would have."

Zuma's tail started wagging as the group then got to work as Zuma first brought up the pattern he wanted it to be in. "You think we can do a stwipe pattewn? Maybe a dark gween and blue pattewn could work for me."

"With tastes like that, we'd be crazy to say no." Chase assured Zuma, though, it was mostly because of how good he looked in blue himself.

Rocky then started working out the size of the uniform as he determined how big it would need to be. "I think you should be around Skye's size Zuma."

"So long as I don't dwess up like a pwincess." Zuma joked, leaving the pups to all laugh as they continued to work on the costume.

A couple hours later, the pups had finished making the pirate costume with Zuma being the one to give the final verdict. The bright smile on his face and his glowing eyes made it pretty obvious that he liked it, but the other still needed to know if he found it to be the perfect look. There was only one way to know for sure in Zuma's mind. He had to put it on himself; and that's exactly what he did. He put the pirate costume on and managed to fit into it perfectly. He then put the hat on (I forgot to mention they made a hat too) and went to the mirror to see how he looked.

Zuma got a good look at himself in his new pirate costume and thought it looked perfect on him. He was also glad to see that Chase wasn't the only pup who looked good in blue. He could definitely see himself sailing the seven seas in this; at least if he planned to one day. It was definitely tempting. And since a big part of pirates, at least from what Zuma could tell so far, was playing music while singing and dancing with your crew mates, he could take his guitar with him as well.

Zuma then turned to his friends, being eternally grateful for the help they gave him regarding his pirate costume. "I love it you guys! Thank you so much!"

Chase, Rocky, and Skye were glad to see that Zuma liked his new pirate costume with Rocky then hatching an idea. "Okay guys; hear me out for this." Chase, Skye, and Zuma looked at Rocky, who was ecstatic to let them know about his idea. "Zuma got that inflatable pirate boat on the way home from the pool today, right?" Zuma was quick to catch on as Rocky then took out his pup phone, which Ryder gave him since he and Richie do patrols for the Paw Patrol. "What if we took both to the pool tomorrow and recorded Zuma acting like a pirate for everyone to see?"

Zuma did like the idea, but was a little worried about being online for all to see. This was for a few reasons, along with the cops who took his parents finding him, and also others hating on his speech impediment. The three quickly took notice to it with Rocky's expression changing as he showed concern for Zuma. "It's okay if you don't like it Zuma. We can just do it for fun."

"No, I do!" Zuma blurted out, not wanting to disappoint Rocky. Despite his concerns, that was the last thing he wanted to do at any point in time. He left the serious stuff out to avoid making Rocky feel as bad as possible. "It's just... what if there are other Mawley's in the world? What if they hate the video based off of how I talk?"

Skye was quick to help Zuma with that and stepped forward with a smile as she assured him that he would be okay there. "Every part of the world has blind haters in it Zuma. Those people aren't worth your time." Zuma looked at Skye, who hoped her advice would shine through to Zuma. "And obviously there are also people who won't like your work with constructive feedback, but those who hate it based off of just one thing that shouldn't even matter that much are more biased than anything."

Zuma was confused by the meaning of biased with Rocky quickly explaining what it meant. "It means their opinion against something is unfair."

Chase then clarified what Skye meant so Zuma could get the short version. "What Skye's trying to say Zuma, is that you shouldn't let bad or intentionally hurtful criticism stop you from doing what you love. And also that you should use the good criticism to improve your craft."

"That makes sense." Zuma admitted, and then he smiled to Skye, glad she could be of help with his situation. "Thanks Skye." Skye giggled a bit in response before letting out a cute little bark in response. Being a Paw Patrol member, it was natural she would love helping people, regardless of how small their situation was.

The next day, day ten specifically, Zuma and the others were at the pool with the inflatable pirate boat being put into place. Zuma was in his pirate costume with Richie watching Rocky get his phone ready as he rubbed his head and complimented his idea. "I gotta hand it to ya Rocky. You seem to be able to read Zuma better than any of us here."

"I guess I just understand hi the most out of everyone." Rocky admitted, knowing that despite the circumstances not being the same, Rocky and Zuma had... similar origins. Rocky decided not to think about that however, and he saw Zuma on the pirate boat in his costume. This caused him to blush a bit, which he hoped no one noticed. He thought Zuma looked incredibly daring in his pirate costume, and the last thing he wanted to do was blow it for everyone. "Okay, time to set sail! (Flinches and then face palms) Wait; was that a pun? Darn it! Why did I do that!?"

Richie couldn't help but laugh a little as he bailed Rocky out by speaking up. "I think what Rocky means is, we're ready when you are!"

Zuma nodded to Richie, and then he gave a thumbs up to Chase, Skye, and Ryder, who got ready with a giant fan. Once Rocky started recording, Rocky started pretending he was sailing the seven seas. "Yaw haw haw! Ahoy me mateys! It is I, Captain Zuma at the sails!" Rocky was shown to be smiling brightly as he watched Zuma acting, while also making sure to hide the fact that this was in the pool for video effect. "I now stand along the showes of Adventuwe bay in an attempt to steal the gold of puppyhood, and save my pawents fwom etewnal slavewy!"

Rocky did have to admit that he was a little surprised by the mention of parents, but he could still tell that Zuma was having a good time in spite of that. Zuma continued to act as the captain of a ship as Ryder turned the fan on and had Chase and Skye turn it in his direction. This led to Zuma feeling the gust of wind, which led to it becoming harder for him to sail. "Arw! It appeaws a gust of wind blows my way! (Pretends to steer a ship wheel) "Bettew for some violent waves coming in!"

As Zuma continued to do his pirate act, Rocky couldn't help but smile at the sight of him loving his pirate ruse. He was always glad to see Zuma having a good time, and it was clear that pirates were one thing that could help him with that. He had to start thinking about one thing during the recording however. Could Zuma actually meet a real live pirate one day? I mean, it wasn't impossible. It was just that, even though they still existed, you still couldn't guarantee meeting one. Rocky shrugged it off for now, and decided to continue recording Zuma, who was shown to still be having a blast in the video.

A few minutes later, after the video was finished, Zuma was lying down in his inflatable pirate boat as he and his friends played in the pool together. As he looked around the pool and thought of how cool this would look in the real seven seas, he called out to Rocky in the hopes that he'd try again to get in the water. "Come on Wocky! Ya gotta leawn to swim someday!"

"I'd prefer that day be later than sooner; thank you!" Rocky called back, leaning back in his recliner while watching the others play. Still; he had to admit that he was starting to think about swimming one day, for Zuma. He just knew he'd love that, he just had to wait until he was ready. 'When it feels right.'

Chase and Skye were swimming in the water as Skye then warned Chase about peeing in the pool like he did yesterday. "Now remember Chase. I don't want you peeing in the pool again. Especially when I'm in the water this time."

"Okay, fine. No pool pee from me today." Chase responded, and then he turned around and gave a sly grin when Skye swam away in an attempt to get to the diving board. Once she got up there however, Zuma saw him scheming with Chase giving him a little warning. "Hey; Zuma. You think rubber could survive hot water?"

Zuma thought for a moment on that one as Skye went over to the edge of the diving board and got ready to jump in. "Hmm... yeah, ya got me beat on that one." Chase then gave a smug grin and lifted his leg under water and crunched his face as...

BLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUB...

...a nasty fart left his bowels and had an increased scent of sulfur come from the pool thanks to it being in water. This was right when Skye jumped to get in, and before she could do any flips, she saw what Chase did and started to panic. Zuma turned his boat away just as Skye tried to grab it and she fell into the water, and Chase was still farting underneath...

BLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUB...

...Skye rose out of the water and started gasping for air as she climbed out of the pool with Zuma laughing his butt off and Rocky rolling his eyes while smiling. Ryder wafted the odor away as he did the same with Richie simply sketching the prank as a pirate catastrophe for Zuma to look at later. As Chase continued to fart...

BLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUB...

...Skye called him out on his prank towards her furiously. "CHAAAAAASE!" This led to Chase flinching. His fart didn't stop, but he did just realize what he got himself into...

BLUBBLUBBLUBBLUBBLUB...

Everyone was getting ready to head home, and as they did, Zuma unplugged his inflatable pirate boat, which started squeaking as the inflation kicked in. This caused Zuma to giggling as he then pointed this out to Rocky, who as packing up his stuff near where he was. "Wocky, look! Chase finally has someone to fawt with when he's bowed."

Rocky rolled his eyes while smiling as he then jokingly pointed out how easily Chase would thwart Zuma's inflatable boat. "As if a boat could stand a chance against the greatest monster of the sea." He then gave Zuma a cheeky smile as he finished his sentence. "Two words: Chase's butt."

Rocky and Zuma started laughing as the two of them then overheard Chase and Skye talking about the fart prank, which Skye was still greatly upset about. "I just can't believe you Chase!" Rocky and Zuma looked over to find Ryder trying to keep things from getting too serious as Skye continued to tell Chase off. "Peeing in the pool was bad enough! But creating a swamp style hot tub out of it!? It'll be days before anyone can swim in it again!"

"Skye, I'm sorry; I thought it would be funny!" Chase replied remorsefully, having not thought about how much he would've upset Skye before the prank happened.

"Well it might've been funny to you and Zuma, but it definitely wasn't funny to me!" Skye responded, being disgusted that Chase would do something like this, even with how much of a gas bag he is.

Ryder then spoke up, not wanting his pups to be fighting for too long. "Alright, alright, let's settle down here. Fighting isn't gonna help anyone." Ryder then turned to Chase, having not approved of how far his fart prank get. "Chase, I'm not against pranking, but Skye's right. We might have to quarantine the pool because of this."

Chase's ears dropped as Skye then complained about how bad she smelled. "I'll be taking an especially strong shower when we get home. I'd recommend you do as well, preferably AFTER I do."

Skye then walked off with Chase finding it obvious that he was still mad at him. Ryder then made a whistle that started high and then went downward to indicate how serious this was. It wasn't every day Skye was this mad, especially not with a pup like Chase. Chase then looked at the pool and started to feel even worse about what he did. Ryder could tell once Chase expressed this to him. "For once Ryder, I'll have to agree with Skye on this one. I did NOT think this one through."

"We can talk about it more when we get back." Ryder said as he rubbed Chase's head, knowing that reprimanding him more right now wouldn't help him. "But we may be having a late lunch today, so I'll order us some pizza." Rocky and Zuma, who'd seen the whole thing, looked at each other with concern about how that conversation went down. Chase was the last pup you'd expect to get on Skye's nerves THAT badly.

Back at the lookout, Rocky and Zuma were talking about Chase and Skye's fight as Zuma asked Rocky a pirate question. "Any chance piwates were well known for helping fwiends make up after heated awguments?"

"Hehe. I doubt that Zuma." Rocky admitted, knowing that pirates did get along if they were in the same crew, but he didn't have a lot of knowledge on how they made up. "Then again, I don't know a lot about what pirate crews did when two members were fighting. I know sometimes they would walk the plank, but I'm not sure farting would warrant that."

Chase was then waiting outside the bathroom as Skye opened the door after her shower was finished. She was clearly still upset after the pool thing, despite having cooled off from it. "Have fun Chase." Skye walked off with Chase sighing remorsefully for his prank. He went into the shower and hoped he could get his fart scent off of him.

Skye went into the living room and opened up a pizza box, taking out a slice of bell pepper and salami pizza before sitting down in one of the chairs. As she started eating, Zuma took the time to whisper to Rocky at how moody girls could be. "Giwls are weiwd sometimes."

"They can be, but I'd admittedly be pretty mad too if someone did that to a pool." Rocky admitted, and then Zuma snickered a bit at the reference of the prank. Zuma then started eating a slice of Hawaiian pizza with Rocky picking up the remote and looking for a good movie to watch. "Let's just take our mind off this morning for now. We don't need any tension right now." Skye and Zuma were cool with that, and Rocky kept looking for a fitting movie for them all to watch.

Chase was finished with his shower, and he put in a lot of scrubbing to get a cherry blossom scent in there. Good thing he was only allergic to the flower and not the body wash product. He then looked in the mirror as he wiped it down enough to give himself a good view of his reflection. After admiring himself for a bit and giving a flirtatious growl, he got serious and gave himself a pep talk regarding Skye. "Okay Chase. You can do this. Just don't fart around her after what happened at the pool, or say anything that could make her mad, and you'll be okay."

Chase left the bathroom and went into the living room to find that there was still some pizza left with the others still in there. Zuma saw Chase and instantly directed him towards the meatlovers pizza. "We still have some meatlovews pizza for you Chase! Dig in!"

Chase liked the sound of that and grabbed himself a couple slices of meatlovers pizza. Once Skye noticed this, she admired his butt a little, which she usually did even when it wasn't extra shiny. She just had to comment on how clean it was though. "So you were able to get it all off then. Must've been one heck of a shower."

Chase was glad to hear Skye's calmer tone, and he hoped she wouldn't mind him sitting next to her like he always did. "I think the strength from that body wash I used had something to do with it. You were right Skye; the cherry blossom scent is as strong as what the flower represents." Skye giggled a bit after hearing that with Chase then noticing that there was enough room for him. For once, he was a little nervous to ask. "Um... do you mind if I sit with you, or...?"

Skye offered Chase the seat next to him, much to his glee as he took the opportunity. When he saw what movie they were watching, Zuma was quick to fill him in. "We're at the pawt of the fiwst movie where Edward finds the ship he was hunting down and stawts the battle by launching his ship cannons."

"So the same action movie from yesterday, huh? Works for me." Chase started watching the movie with the others as he started eating his pizza. He was very glad to see that Skye was close to completely cooling off from the incident at the pool.

Later that day, Rocky and Zuma were playing with some wooden swords that they found in Ryder's garage. Zuma was quick to start making pirate quotes as he and Rocky pushed their swords swings against each other. "I see yee know how to handle a sword Captain Wocky. Your fowmer captain must've been no slouch themself."

"Oh, he was quite the captain alright." Rocky responded, ending the clash and slashing at Zuma, who dodged quickly with the two colliding slashes after that. "Too bad he was also a backstabbing traitor who needed to be punished!"

Zuma stepped to the side in an attempt to avoid Rocky's thrust, and when Rocky turned around, Zuma knocked his sword out of his paws. It went flying to the right, and when it fell to the ground, Zuma kicked Rocky down and got on top of him while holding his sword up to his neck. Even though the sword wasn't real, Zuma played the role of a pirate so well that he could feel the tension soaring through his veins. Zuma then gave a devious grin as he asked for Rocky's surrender. "Do you yield sir Wocky?"

Rocky laughed a bit, feeling that he had no choice but to surrender and spoke in a voice that told of defeat. "I see you have bested me captain Zuma. I do in fact, yield."

Zuma then helped Rocky up as the two continued roleplaying their pirate story while going to pick up Rocky's sword. "You're quite the swowdsman youwself. Perhaps we need join fowces to get the tweasure fwom the pool of the acid odor."

"I would love that. Only the most true pirates are willing to join forces for the common goal!" Rocky announced proudly, and then he picked his sword up and raised it with Zuma as the two then shouted in sync.

"All for one, and one for all!"

The screen faded to black after that, ending the episode off.
