PPX: Zuma's First Month
Episode fifteen: A Psycho Ex Trying Too Hard To Flex
It was the middle of day twenty of Zuma's life in Adventure Bay, and Zuma was sneaking into the kitchen. He made sure no one else was around before he jumped up to the fridge and opened the door to peek in. He saw what looked like a tub of coconut chocolate ice cream. He knew he had to wait until after dinner, but he loved this flavor so much that he couldn't resist. After licking his lips, he grabbed the tub only to be greeted by his sly grinning German Shepherd friend. "Having a snack Zuma?"
Zuma flinched upon hearing Chase's voice and looked over to him while putting the tub of ice cream down. He then tried to think of a good excuse for what he was doing. "Are you gonna awwest me if I am?"
"No, but I'll be more than quick to tell you that you're not eating ice cream at two in the afternoon." Chase informed Zuma before coming over to him and helping him get down. "We got you that ice cream because of how well you did at Rocky's intervention Zuma. Don't waste it."
Zuma sighed in response before assuring Chase that he understood. "Yeah, I know. So then what am I supposed to have for a snack?"
Chase walked over to a fruit bowl and grabbed an apple for Zuma, tossing it to him as he answered his question. "It'll keep the doctor away."
Zuma caught the apple and bit into it, glad he at least got to eat something. As good as lunch was, he could never ignore the call for that afternoon snack. "Fawmer Yumi weally knows what she's doing with these."
"Yes she does." Chase grabbed an apple himself, taking a bite and being satisfied with the taste. "Yes she does." Chase then gave Zuma an idea on what he could do in case he was bored. "Ya know, Ryder and Rocky might need an outsider's perspective on the training room. Maybe you could take the elevator and go help them."
Zuma thought for a moment and felt that could be fun. Anything to hang out with Rocky after all. "I guess I could see if they need anything. Thanks Chase."
"Anytime." Chase assured Zuma as the Chocolate Labrador walked off, and then he bit into his apple again before heading off to watch TV. "My show should be on right now."
Ryder and Rocky were looking over the blueprints for the training room with Ryder stating one of the things on his mind for it. "I think a level setting would be a good way to see how skilled the team is in terms of combat."
"Chase would love that! He's all about doing his best." Rocky stated happily, showing that he was fully on board with the idea. Just then, the elevator dinged, and Rocky got excited when he and Ryder saw Zuma emerge from it. "Zuma!"
"With a wave cwash." Zuma announced, and he explained what he was doing up there as he walked up to Ryder and Rocky. "Any chance I can lend a paw with that twaining woom you're wowking on?"
Ryder did have an idea he thought Zuma could provide some good insight on. "Now that you mention it, we could add some more features for skill training."
Rocky showed Zuma a list, and when he got a good look at it, he saw it laid out as such:
Combat
Mobility
Stealth
The list wasn't very long, but Zuma wasn't surprised. The training room was only first mentioned yesterday. He did have one idea on what they could add, and hoped the two would like it. "Maybe obsewvation?"
"Perfect!" Rocky exclaimed, and then Zuma handed him the list, allowing him to write down Observation as a training method. "Noticing the little details would be a phenomenal way to help us avoid making the same mistake we did with Nicky."
Zuma was pleased to see that his idea was well received, and Zuma then allowed him to continue helping. "Anything else you think we can add?"
Zuma hopped up next to Rocky, who smiled to him as he continued looking at the blueprints. "Let's find out!" And with that, the three friends went over the blueprints for the training room together.
Speaking of Nicky, he was in an abandoned house somewhere in Calm-Ten, making sure it was all set up for his latest scheme. It was small, but Nicky didn't need a big location for what he was planning to do. Just then, a black cat came from behind, leading to Nicky turning around when he tapped him. "Ah; hello Bob. You're early."
"I didn't think I would be." Bob admitted, bringing up something that happened to him on the way. "An orange cat and his brother were filming him practicing his motorcycle riding skills, and he almost hit me!"
"Yikes. Not something you see every day."
"I know, right?"
Nicky then took out a photo, handing it to Bob so he knew what he was doing. "You get your paws on this Chocolate Labrador tonight. I don't care how you do it. I'll get what we need to take him out."
Bob looked at the picture of Zuma, and it showed him sitting with Rocky when they were having their first ice cream together. "What exactly is it that this canine stole from you again?"
Nicky clenched his fists, looking at Bob with a stare that showed just how angry he was about the situation. "The love of my life." Bob found this to be quite serious from how Nicky spoke about it. If only he knew that the real situation was made the Doberman look a lot worse than that.
Later that night, Bob was sneaking around the Paw Patrol Lookout, entering the building and making his way to the couch. He made sure to be as quiet as possible, getting a good look at Zuma to make sure he got his target. A noxious odor filled the room, much to Bob's disgust. After inspecting him for a bit, he took out a rag and put it up to his mouth. This led to him passing out and let Bob pick him up to carry him out of the Lookout after leaving a note on the couch. Bob took his phone out and started texting Nicky. The text read as followed:
"That was easier than I thought."
Nicky then replied back with this:
"Good to hear. Now get him back here, and I'll fill you in on the next part of the plan."
Bob then put his phone away and ran off with Zuma, going as quickly and quietly as he could to avoid being caught by anyone else in Adventure Bay. Luckily for him, being a black cat meant he was much better at traveling through the night undetected. He looked at Zuma with delight, knowing that this payment was going to be an easy one for him.
Bob arrived at Nicky's hideout and knocked on the door, allowing him to answer it. When Nicky saw that Bob had Zuma, he smiled with glee, only for Zuma to hit him with...
PFFFFFFFFFFT
...a ripe and nasty five second fart fart that reeked of moldy cheese, making Zuma's butt vibrate as Nicky coughed and wafted the fart away. Bob chuckled nervously as he informed Nicky of Zuma's gas. "He sure is a noisy one. He's been doing that every thirty seconds to a minute after I got him out of that tower."
"So now I know TWO gas clowns. Perfect." Nicky said sarcastically, pointing to a chair he wanted Bob to tie Zuma up on. "Look; just tie him up on that chair. We'll wait until morning and kill him then."
Bob went to do as instructed, and then questioned it when he saw that Nicky was leaving the house. "Hold on a second. This is YOUR plan."
"Well I can't get caught here; I'm too obvious a culprit." Nicky reminded Bob, telling him the next part of his plan and pointing to the roof. "I'll be disguised on the roof. If Zuma tries to escape, I'll kill him myself." Nicky then started climbing up to the roof with Bob continuing to tie Zuma up. As he did, he was suddenly met with Zuma farting again...
PFFFFFFFFFFT
...another green cloud of moldy cheese that led to Bob wafting the fart away. Bob groaned in annoyance over having to bare with this, wishing he'd captured a less gassy pup.
The next morning, as per what would be ritual by this point, Chase went into the living room to wake up Zuma. "Morning Zu-" However, he got confused when he saw that he wasn't there. It wasn't like Zuma to wake up before him or Skye. Almost three weeks of living with him proved that. "ma...?" Chase went over to the couch, picking up the note Bob left there. It wasn't signed, so Chase assumed it was from Zuma. "Huh. Guess he had early plans with Rocky." Chase opened up the note to see what said 'plans' were. What he read in the note however, left him horrified:
"Dear Paw Patrol. This is an associate who knows where Zuma is. This is someone who has been wronged by both Zuma, and his entitled ex boyfriend, and now he wants revenge. If you want Zuma back, you will tell Rocky to get back together with him. And if we see any of the Paw Patrol at our hideout instead, we'll kill him without hesitation."
Chase couldn't believe what he just read, showing immense fear over what Nicky would do to Zuma. This soon changed to anger over the idea of someone hurting his adoptive younger brother. "Nicky. That monster! Why would this win Rocky back!?" Chase called Ryder on his pup-tag, and Ryder was shown to have just gotten dressed as he did. "Ryder! We have an emergency! I think Nicky captured Zuma last night in an attempt to get Rocky back!"
"What!?" Ryder exclaimed with fear, assuring Chase that he would be on it. "Let's get right on it Chase! No job is too big, no pup is too small!"
Chase hung up and then ran off to get Skye, knowing she'd wanna help out too. "Skye; are you awake!? Zuma's in trouble!"
At the Goodway residence, Rocky was helping Diane fix the dishwasher, despite her gratefully telling him that he didn't have to. "You can go and play if you want to Rocky. I don't wanna keep you from seeing Zuma."
"Thanks Diane, but I really don't mind." Rocky assured Diane, making his love for fixing things very apparent. "Pass me my screwdriver please?"
Diane did as instructed, and as she did, Richie raced into the kitchen in a panic. "Rocky! Ryder just texted me! Zuma's been pupnapped!"
"WHAT!?" Rocky exclaimed, instantly breaking out of his attempt to fix the oven to help Zuma. "Who would-" Rocky then realized who it was in an instant, becoming furious when he did. "Nicky!"
Rocky then got up and raced off with Richie apologizing for the short notice. "Sorry mom; we'll have to postpone the oven fixing for now."
"Don't worry sweetie. I'll just call someone over." Diane assured Richie, and as she ran off, Diane realized she could help out as well. "Wait; what the heck am I saying? I'm the Mayor of Adventure Bay; if he's still in town, then I can find him." Diane got ready to call Ryder herself, but not before calling someone to fix her oven. She still had to cook after all, and no job should be left half done.
At the Lookout, Rocky was calling Nicky in an attempt to get some answers out of him for what he was doing to Zuma. Nicky happily answered, but before he could say anything, Rocky started shouting at him after putting him on speaker. "GIVE US ZUMA BACK YOU PSYCHOPATH! I'M NOT TAKING NO FOR AN ANSWER!"
Richie put a paw on Rocky's shoulder to help him calm down, leaving Nicky to compose himself as he spoke up again. "Calm yourself my love." Rocky almost crushed his phone in anger as Nicky called him that. "I merely wish to grasp your paw in love again. I'm in Calm-Ten by the way. Abandon shack; you can figure it out from there."
"First off, you're not, nor will you EVER, be my love. Not again." Rocky declared, refusing to go back to Nicky after everything he's done. "Second off, if you think dognapping my best friend is gonna make you love me again, then you're sorely mistaken!" Rocky then covered the phone and looked at Richie to clarify what he meant. "You're my best friend too."
Richie nodded in understanding, knowing that Rocky's been growing quite the strong bond for Zuma lately. On the other line, Nicky was shown to be walking back to his house with a syringe in his paw. "I bet you'll think otherwise once you realize what I plan to do with Zuma." Little did Nicky know however, that Paleclaw was nearby, practicing their knife swing precision on a tree as they overheard Nicky boasting. "Remind me. It IS peanuts he's alergic to, correct?" Nicky chuckled a bit before Paleclaw started following him, knowing they couldn't take any risks regarding Zuma.
On Rocky's end, he started to fume again, refusing to let Nicky do anything to Zuma. "YOU TOUCH HIM AND I'LL BREAK YOUR NECK!"
"Oooh. You've finally grown some balls my love." Nicky chuckled devilishly before saying one final thing that sent Rocky's anger to it's highest point. "You have an hour before the injection."
Nicky hung up, causing Rocky to stop thinking and throw his phone in anger. Thankfully, Ryder caught it, but Rocky wasn't done yet. "DARN IT!" Rocky then flipped over the table that was in front of the couch, which surprised everyone else and scared Skye a little. "I'M GONNA KILL HIM!" He then kicked the side table on the left side of the couch as he continued his outburst. "I'M GONNA TRACK HIM DOWN AND KILL HIM!"
"Rocky, easy!" Ryder spoke up, assuming control of the situation after handing him his phone back once he had his attention. Rocky snapped out of it and realized what he just did. He felt horrible, but Ryder was about to help him feel better. "We should focus this anger on tracking Nicky down."
Rocky nodded in response, putting his phone away as he apologized for his outburst. "You're right. I'm... I'm sorry guys." Rocky started to panic however, after thinking about how much danger Zuma was in again. It led to him pacing back and forth as he contemplated the outcomes. "It's just... I never thought Nicky would go this far. I thought spending time with us as friends would help him, but all it did was get him closer to hurting Zuma. My mind keeps asking the question of whether or not we can save him!"
"We get it Rocky." Chase assured Rocky, walking up to him as he shared his own feelings about the situation. "When I first found the letter and read it, I wanted to smash Nicky's head through the nearest door. The fact that he plans to kill Zuma amplifies that by ten fold."
Skye spoke up next, having an idea on how to track Nicky down more easily. "He said he was in an abandoned house in Calm-Ten. I can take my helicopter and narrow that down to where he might be."
"Good call Skye." Ryder praised, and then he looked to Richie for another plan he had in mind. "Richie, you take Rocky and make absolute sure he's safe. You guys aren't in the Paw Patrol, so he won't kill Zuma if you show up." Richie nodded in response, and everyone headed out as Ryder said his catchphrase. "Alright then. Paw Patrol, is on a roll!"
As everyone headed out, Rocky started thinking about his determination to save Zuma. 'Don't worry Zuma. Nicky won't hurt you today, or any day. Not if I can help it.'
Meanwhile with Paleclaw, they were tracking Nicky down, staying in the shadows to avoid being detected. They saw Nicky arriving at the abandoned shack they heard him mention and went over to the side as they listened to his conversation with bob. "Just you wait Bob. In one hour's time, it's either Rocky will be mine again, or bye bye Zuma!"
Nicky chuckled a bit before Bob questioned how Nicky felt that was going to pan out. "And you think capturing Zuma will lead to Rocky loving you again?"
"He has to. He knows what'll happen if he doesn't." Nicky reminded Bob, opening the door as he held out the peanut extract filled syringe. When Paleclaw saw this, they became horrified before hiding back against the wall again. "All I can see is a win-win situation."
Nicky cackled a bit before closing the door, leaving Paleclaw to think of a plan to help Zuma as Nicky climbed up to the roof to hide. 'Okay. First thing's first, make sure he actually has Zuma."
Paleclaw jumped up to a window silently and peeked inside, finding Zuma shouting as Nicky walked up to them. "Get that thing away fwom me dude! You won't get away with this!"
"Well that's pretty obvious." Bob admitted, and then Paleclaw hid right before Bob noticed him. "Nicky confessed on phone." Zuma then shook his head at how dumb Nicky was.
Paleclaw looked around before seeing what looked like a faint example of Skye's helicopter in the sky. They had an idea on how to save Zuma, wanting to inform the Paw Patrol after hopefully meeting up with the team. They got an idea and ran off to execute their plan. "If that's Skye then I have to get her attention."
Skye was looking around in her helicopter, and she saw the abandoned house Nicky mentioned soon after Paleclaw ran from it. She called Ryder to inform him about it, hoping that it would lead to them finding and saving Zuma. "Ryder! I found the abandoned house Nicky was talking about!" She then noticed Paleclaw trying to get her attention and got curious. "I see Paleclaw too. They must've found out about Nicky's plan."
"Land next to them and find out for sure." Ryder instructed Skye, knowing that Paleclaw would be good help in saving Zuma. "They might have a plan."
Skye did as instructed, and after she landed, Paleclaw ran over to her helicopter as she was jumping out. "Skye! Thank God you saw me. Do you guys know that Doberman who dognapped Zuma?"
"We sure do. He's actually Rocky's ex boyfriend." Skye explained, feeling she should let Rocky explain the heavier stuff to Paleclaw if he wanted to.
"That explains why I heard him brag about making Rocky his." Paleclaw responded, and then they started to wonder if this was like Charm. "Do you think Rocky felt the same way about his behavior as he does for Charm?"
"He used to. But even letting him hang out with his as friends didn't help him feel better." Skye admitted, and she saw the others coming and hoped they could come up with a plan to save Zuma. "I think Rocky should be the one to tell you more. But right now, we have to save Zuma."
Paleclaw nodded, and when the rest of the Paw Patrol arrived at their location, Ryder took his helmet off and got off his ATV when greeting the White Shepherd. "Hi Paleclaw. I'm guessing you wanna help us save Zuma?"
"It's the only thing on my mind right now." Paleclaw admitted, but they did have a question for Rocky that he hoped to answer as he looked at him. "There is something I wanna know Rocky. I don't know the full story of what happened with you and Nicky, but did you try to help him in the same way you wanna help Charm?"
Rocky nodded his head yes, getting out of Richie's car as he expressed the ways he tried to help Nicky. He kept it brief to focus on the topic at hand. "I tried to help him get anger management once, and he threw me over my bed. I tried to get him some therapy sessions with a professional, and he blew up over that too." Paleclaw saw how hard this was hitting Rocky as the mix looked at the ground. "I hope it's not the same story with Charm..." Rocky then shook his head and got back on topic. "But for now, we have to focus on getting Zuma out of there."
Paleclaw nodded in response as Richie got out of his car with Chase getting out of his police car as the half demon spoke up. "If you have any more questions Paleclaw, we can answer them after the mission." Richie then started talking about a plan he and Ryder devised. "Originally, Ryder and I were going to have Rocky go up there, and then we would knock Nicky out from afar. But now that Paleclaw's in the picture, I think we can come up with a smarter, safer plan for all of us."
"What is it?" Paleclaw asked, ready to help Zuma in any way they could. "Tell me what to do; I'll do anything!"
"Then here's what we need you to do." Richie started the explanation once he knew he had everyone's attention. "Nicky said he would kill Zuma if anyone from the Paw Patrol was seen at his hideout. But if Paleclaw, someone who Nicky doesn't know, came to the entrance, then Nicky wouldn't be able to suspect a trap."
"Not unless he realized Paleclaw was a spy." Ryder pointed out, having already found a hole in Richie's plan. "We can come up with a convincing act though."
"Already thought of one Ryder sir." Chase assured Ryder, taking off his police hat and handing it to Paleclaw. "You'll be acting as a police trainee pup Paleclaw. Just tell Nicky about a fake crime you're looking into near Calm-ten. And if he gets suspicious by your hat looking like mine, just say that's what the police station gives to newbies. You can handle the rest from there."
Paleclaw memorized what Chase told them to do, which wasn't too complicated, and then they got ready for action. Of course, they had their own part of the plan in mind for saving Zuma. One they thought would work much better. "Sounds like a good plan to me. Let's do this!"
Nicky was relaxing on the roof of the of the abandoned house as Paleclaw walked up to the front door and knocked on it. When Bob heard it, he got up and walked over to the front door after hiding Zuma in the closet. After answering the door, he tried to play it cool. "May I help you?"
"Yes, you can." Paleclaw informed Bob, being ready to read him like a book. "We got reports of a recent kidnapping in the area. Would you happen to know anything about it?"
Bob's eyes darted to where the closet was, which Paleclaw instantly caught onto before the cat spoke up. "Nope. Nothing at all."
Paleclaw wasn't falling for it, and showed Bob a fake warrant Chase gave them that allowed him to enter. "I have my rights buddy. Let me in."
Paleclaw entered the house with Bob getting more worried, which caught Nicky's attention from the roof. Bob did his best to convince Paleclaw to come out, but they had their sights set on the closet. "I assure you, there's nothing suspicious going on around here."
"I'll be the judge of that." Paleclaw informed the cat, walking over to the closet as they asked a rather challenging question for them. "I saw your eyes dart to this closet. If you're telling the truth, then you won't mind if I look in here."
Bob gulped, feeling that he had no other option but to let Paleclaw into the closet. "Well... if you insist."
Paleclaw smirked before opening the closet, and to the shock of literally no one, they found Zuma tied up in there! "Nothing suspicious, huh?" Paleclaw sucker punched Bob and sent him to the ground before taking their knife out and cutting Zuma's ropes free. "Don't worry Zuma. You'll be okay soon."
After Paleclaw removed the tape from Zuma's mouth, he sighed of relief and thanked them for the save. "Especially since you got here before that cat twied anything. Thanks Paleclaw."
"No pro-" Just then, Bob pounced on Paleclaw, leading to him being kicked into the kitchen before the White Shepherd got back up. "Zuma! Get out of here, now! I'll try to contact your friends!"
"Our fwiends." Zuma assured Paleclaw, who smiled in response before turning to face Bob again. Zuma jumped over the couch and made his way outside, only to be jumped by Nicky. Zuma was able to throw him off, and quickly got back up to face Nicky in battle in front of the house.
Paleclaw and Bob were battling in the kitchen of the abandoned house with Paleclaw jumping over the counter and kicking Bob in the face. This sent Bob into the fridge, and he quickly recovered and opened up a drawer. He pulled out a knife, whereas Paleclaw pulled out a turkey baster. When the two realized what they pulled out, Paleclaw simply threw it at Bob. It hit him in the face, but it didn't hurt him. When he went for Paleclaw with the knife, Paleclaw grabbed it and threw it to the ground. This gave them the chance to low kick Bob and make a run for it.
Bob made it clear he wasn't giving up easily however, rolling to the knife and picking it up. As Paleclaw went for the front door, Bob threw the knife at them, which they barely managed to avoid before Bob jumped over the counter and charged at them.
Outside, Zuma was fighting off against Nicky, who was using a staff to attack him with. Zuma dodged his first three staff swings no problem, and slid under his spin strike before kicking Nicky to the side. Nicky regained his balance with Zuma charging at him and hitting him with a strong right hook. This sent Nicky into the wall, but he rolled out of the way with Zuma punching through the wall instead of him. This led to Nicky attempting to hit Zuma again, only for his next staff strike to miss.
Back inside, Bob was still trying to kill Paleclaw, who who kept dodging their knife attacks before grabbing the knife right before getting low swept to the ground. They fell to their back, miraculously not getting stabbed, and Bob then aimed a downward spinning punch towards them. Right as they straightened it, Paleclaw grabbed the knife handle and made Bob stab the knife instead. He screamed in pain when his paw went through the knife. Bob then held his paw up while still holding the knife, giving Paleclaw enough time to low kick him and get him.
Paleclaw grabbed Bob's punch from his good paw and kicked Bob over a table, which Bob struggled to get up from. Bob attempted to punch Paleclaw, only this time, he used the paw that had the knife in it. Because of this, the knife went deeper into his paw after Paleclaw grabbed it, baffling the White Shepherd. "You have got to be kidding me." Paleclaw then punched Bob three times before grabbing him and throwing him towards the wall. Bob hit the wall before rolling out of the way of Paleclaw's kick.
During this fight, Zuma managed to kick Nicky's leg and grab the staff from him, wielding it himself and trying to use it the best he could. He then attempted to hit Nicky on the side with the staff after blocking one of his kicks, and succeeded in doing so. Good thing his time on his own gave him some decent weapon training. Zuma then readied the staff and charged at Nicky with it, leading to Nicky grabbing it as Zuma asked him a question angrily. "Who's your favowite Paw Patwol member?"
Nicky went all out and shoved Zuma back a bit, answering his question with a fake answer. "Charm!"
"That doesn't count!" Zuma shouted before headbutting Nicky, leading to him losing his grip on the staff, which Zuma then hit him on the left side of his head with. After that blow was laid, Nicky grabbed the staff right above Zuma's paw, which Zuma then surpassed with his other paw. Nicky then reached higher than that, only for Zuma to then slap him across the face and make him let go. Zuma then hit him with the staff again, and Nicky aimed two more kicks at Zuma. He blocked them with the staff, which Nicky then grabbed as he started to push a determined Zuma back.
Paleclaw and Bob's battle was meeting it's finish with the black cat attempting to hit Paleclaw with a roundhouse kick. They managed to block it successfully however, as well as the second kick, which they grabbed without much issue. After spinning Bob once with a spin throw, Paleclaw punched him twice before Bob blocked his third punch with his knee. His counterattack failed, and Paleclaw punched him in the forehead. Paleclaw aimed another punch at Bob, only for him to block it and punch Paleclaw in the gut, sending them back a bit.
Bob attempted a spin strike on Paleclaw, who dodged the first fist, and grabbed the second, which just so happened to have the knife in it. Paleclaw took the knife out and stabbed Bob in the chest with it, stabbing him right in the middle and making him shout in pain. Paleclaw then took it out and stabbed Bob in the heart, wounding him fatally. After Bob fell to the ground upon Paleclaw removing the knife, they dropped the knife and stopped for a bit to catch their breath. After doing so, they looked ahead and focused their attention onto their friend again. "Zuma."
Thankfully, Zuma managed to kick Nicky through the side gate of the abandoned house, standing valiantly while holding the staff.
Paleclaw rushed outside just as they heard the Paw Patrol coming and called out to Zuma in the hopes that he wasn't hurt. "Zuma!" Paleclaw went around the corner and saw Zuma pinning Nicky to the wall with his paws. Glad their friend was okay, Paleclaw went over to Zuma with immense relief. "Thank God you're okay."
"Nicky's about to be anything but." Zuma assured Paleclaw, turning around and continuing to pin Nicky against the wall, this time pressing his butt against his face while on two legs. Zuma then smirked proudly as he made Nicky pay for his actions. He then relaxed his butt after wiggling it for three seconds and hit Nicky with...
PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...
...a loud and bassy fart that reeked of rotten eggs, suffocating Nicky with his vibrating butt while snickering. Paleclaw covered their nose as Zuma continued to hit Nicky with the yellow cloud. Once the fifteen mark was hit however, the last five seconds got even harder...
HHHHHHHHHHT
...and it led to Nicky getting sent through the wall of the abandoned house and into the couch, causing him to pass out from the toxic flatulence. Paleclaw wasn't sure what to say, so thankfully Zuma went over to them and spoke up for them. "And that's why you don't captuwe Zuma Thowne." Zuma laughed a bit with Paleclaw then laughing a bit themself before calling Ryder. This made Zuma smile, having known that the Paw Patrol were in on his rescue.
Rocky and Zuma were talking in the abandoned house as Rocky explained to Zuma why he still hoped he could help Charm become a good canine, despite giving up with Nicky. Nicky was waking up during this time and overheard what he was saying. "I know there's a really high chance that he can't become good. It's just that... the words our dad said linger in my head so effectively that I can't think of it as the only possible outcome. I have to know what he meant before then."
"I get that Wocky. And If you want me to help you find out what he meant, then I'm wight there for you." Zuma assured Rocky, wanting him to know that, despite the unlikely odds, he was ready to help him. He also wanted him to be aware of the more likely outcomes though. "I just hope you'll be okay in the wowst case scenawio."
Rocky nodded his head yes in understanding before Nicky intervened in his usual condescending tone. "Oh boo hoo; Rocky's sad about his evil brother again. You're still not over your Stockholm Syndrome!? Get over it Rocky! Charm can't change if he doesn't want to!"
Zuma put a paw on Rocky's shoulder for support and smiled to him. This gave him the courage to stand up to Nicky's condescending words face to face. "You're right. But I still wanna find the truth. See if my dad DID do something to make him like this. And I'll do my best to accept whatever possible scenario comes true." Nicky scoffed, leaving Rocky to call him out on his own behavior. "And for the record Nicky, if I had Stockholm Syndrome, I would've liked the way you treated me."
Nicky pretended to be offended so he could make Rocky think he was the victim here. "Well you never tried to help me the way you wanna help him!"
Rocky was deeply hurt by Nicky trying to play that card, letting him know just how wrong he was there. "I spent almost three months trying to help you! But every time I tried, it failed!" Zuma stepped back a bit, knowing Rocky needed to let this out. "You stopped going to Katie for therapy because you didn't like what she had to say! You stopped going to the anger management classes that WE got you together because you thought it was stupid! Then there's the stress ball, the breathing technique Richie taught me, the baking hobby Skye taught you, I could go on!"
Nicky wasn't convinced, and Rocky made it clear that he and Nicky were done, then and there. "Look Nicky. I stayed with you to try and help you, and even let you hang out with us as friends, because you kept saying you wanted to change. But I guess I was wrong. I'm sorry Nicky, but you are an abusive, loser! And we are never, getting back together! We're done!"
Nicky didn't bother chasing after Rocky as he walked off with Zuma, instead calling out to him and continuing to insult him. "We'll NEVER be done you delusional hypocrite! You'll come back to me within a week; just you watch!" Zuma wrapped his arm around Rocky, making him smile, despite Nicky calling out to him. "ROCKY!" Rocky and Zuma then went back to the others with Rocky then wrapping his arm around Zuma as well. Both of them were finally ready to move forward in the future without Nicky as the screen faded to black, ending the episode off.
