Hi guys Azza here!

Another short one on the Straw Hats whereabouts. I'm hoping to get all these out of the way fairly soon. The Usopp one is next and shouldn't take too long to drop after this one.

Also, Dragonborn2704 and Thomas MCF I'm answering both your reviews in PMs so look out for those sometime after this drops.

Anyway, enjoy!

I do not own Fairy Tail, One Piece or the Nasuverse.

Where Are They Now – Chopper

/A Tropical Island Somewhere In The South Blue/

Chopper winced as he tightened the bandage around his torso, the fabric stained red from his wounds sustained on Sabaody. Just the mere thought of what had happened sent shivers down the young Reindeer's small form, the last thing he remembered being his use of a Rumble Ball before turning into a monster.

"And now I'm somehow in this place," Chopper muttered quietly to himself as he gently pressed around the bandages before nodding in satisfaction.

Being so far away from the Sunny, he didn't have access to any more of his medical supplies than what he'd normally keep on hand, and even that wasn't much good. Upon waking, half of it was destroyed within his backpack and what could be salvaged wasn't enough to last him.

"Good thing Doctorine taught me how to get by without anything," he mused as he placed what little remained into his backpack, discarding the rest before slinging the bag onto his back. "Time to figure out where I am."

Moving from his position, Chopper set off deeper into the forest. His animal sense of smell was a boon for him here as it allowed him to track any potentially helpful scents that could help him find some form of help. Fortunately for him, there were Human scents on this island, fairly recent too.

He'd been tracking them for several days now, basically as soon as he'd patched himself up, and he was finally beginning to close in on them. These Humans weren't leaving much of a sign of their presence which likely ruled them out as Pirates or World Government forces. They were more than likely natives, a boon for him since he was a Pirate, after all.

A sudden, ear piercing screech had Chopper instantly taking cover beneath the nearest tree as two massive birds soared past his position. These birds had cyan coloured feathers with white plumage on their chests, red beaks with a yellow-coloured trim that his eyes could just barely make out through the brush.

These birds had been something Chopper noted as a constant presence across the island from the moment he'd woken up. At regular intervals each day, the two massive birds perform a flyover of the land though why they did so eluded him.

Perhaps the Humans would know?

The sounds of screaming snapped Chopper's attention from the skies and toward the dense jungle before him. His mind raced as his body practically moved like it were on autopilot, knowing full well that he was on the cusp of reaching his goal only to have it cruelly taken from him.

Those were Human screams.

Were the birds attacking the Humans, or was something else going on that Chopper had yet to discover about the island he'd ended up on? Bursting through some bushes into a small clearing, he didn't exactly receive all the answers he wanted.

Several of the Humans were down, and the ones that were left appearing far too frightened to advance on another Human who stood directly across from where Chopper was. The group of Humans were dressed like tribals, wearing next to nothing and wielding crude looking spears and axes.

The Human, evidently a male, across from him, was certainly not with them.

This man was dressed in what appeared to be some sort of suit, though it was clearly of an older fashion than the ones he'd seen Sanji or Natsu wear. All black suit with coattails, a plain white undershirt that had the top three buttons left open to expose part of his chest and a well-trimmed beard gave the man a rather suave look to him as he slid off his black rimmed sunglasses.

"Well now, to think you lot still aren't in the hospitable mood," the man sighed as one of the scared natives blindly charged him with his war axe raised high to his right. "Such a shame."

Easily sidestepping the native, the man jabbed a point in his neck that instantly disabled him whilst simultaneously grabbing the axe and expertly tossing it into a nearby tree, far out of the reach of the others.

"Can we all be civil now or am I going to have to do that again?"

The tribals barked at each other in a strange language of guttural grunts and strange hooting noises before retreating, taking the fallen tribals with them. They didn't even notice Chopper as they fled off to the right, leaving the man to sigh as he slid his sunglasses into the top left breast pocket of his suit jacket.

"Well now, that was rather unfortunate … Still, I don't suppose you would be willing to have a more civilized conversation, would you?"

Chopper froze as the man closed the considerable distance between them almost immediately, now standing less than a metre away with a guarded look on his face. Considering he'd just been attacked despite clearly wanting to work with the natives, Chopper couldn't help but understand his position.

"Wh-who are you!?"

"You actually speak," the strange man responded as his eyebrows shot up into his hairline. "I half expected you to growl and try to bite me or something?"

"N-no, I'm not like that," Chopper replied as quickly as he could with all hostility from the man fading away. "Wh-what was that just now?"

"You mean what was I doing with the locals just now," the man responded, clearly somewhat tired as he shook his head. "Trying and failing to establish some sort of rapport with them. I was sent here to study this island and try to discover if there were any medicinal knowledge to be found here, what with the island still being stuck in a less civilized manner."

"You were sent here by a Doctor," Chopper asked with the man shaking his head whilst chuckling in response.

"No no, I wasn't sent here by a Doctor," the man responded with Chopper cocking his head to the side in confusion. "As a Doctor, I chose to come here after discussing it with my colleagues."

"YOU'RE A DOCTOR," Chopper cried out in shock with the man nodding slowly in response, somewhat surprised at the shift in his demeanour. "But you're so strong!?"

"Do no harm is a concept we Doctors live by, but only to a point," the man replied with Chopper immediately understanding what he was getting at. "Can't help anyone if you've been captured or killed, now can you?"

"Yeah, I know what you mean since I'm a Doctor too," Chopper responded with the man's jaw dropping in genuine surprise.

"Please excuse my incredulousness, but YOU are a Doctor!?"

"Yeah, I am. I know I'm not really a Human and that might seem a bit weird but I'm a trained Doctor."

"Seriously? Who taught you?"

"Uh … Well, you might not know of them, but I was first trained by Doctor Hiriluk and then Doctor Kureha-."

"You're from the Sakura Kingdom? The land with all of those Doctors that used to work for the tyrant King Wapol?"

"Yes, that's the one."

"And you were trained by Doctor Kureha, you said?"

"Yes."

The man paced back and forth as he pondered what Chopper had told him, every once and awhile taking small glances at him before returning to his pacing. After one particular bout of glancing however, the man stopped upon noticing the bloodied bandages.

"You're injured."

"Yeah … I've done the best with what I had on me, but-."

"I can see that," the man said as his entire demeanour shifted into that of a professional, gloves literally manifesting over his hands as he knelt down in front of Chopper and gently pressed around the bandages. "Expertly done …"

"Thank you …"

"You clearly didn't have much to work with, but you made it stretch as far as you could, didn't you," the man muttered as his fingers gently slid across where the wounds were currently sealed up. "Right here?"

"Y-yeah!"

"I can help with this, if you are willing to come with me," the man said, swiftly rising back to his feet. "I have a base camp just a ways in from the southern beach, it isn't too far."

"I'll come with you, but can you tell me where we are?"

"You don't know?"

"I think I was sent here by a Devil Fruit power, the Warlord Kuma."

"Bartholomew Kuma, Warlord of the Sea," the man repeated garnering a nod from the tiny reindeer. "Interesting. Why would someone like him do that to you?"

"W-well you see, it wasn't just me, but all of my friends," Chopper began slowly. "One of my friends, Natsu, killed three Celestial Dragons which-."

"Natsu? As in THE Natsu Dragneel!?"

"Y-yes-!?"

"Very interesting," the man hummed as he motioned for Chopper to follow him, walking at a sedate pace. "I know the man quite well myself."

"You do?"

"Oh yes, though I doubt the one I am speaking of and the one you are currently journeying with are the same one. Nevertheless, a friend of Natsu's is a friend of mine!"

"Oh, well thank you," Chopper replied with a small smile. "A lot of people seem to say that whenever someone mentions his name, why is that?"

"Heh. I can't really explain that in full to you, at least not yet," the man responded as they stopped before a rather sizeable stream. "By the way, what is your name?"

"Oh, sorry, my name is Chopper!"

"Chopper. A rather interesting name for an interesting fellow," the man smiled. "Perhaps soon I'll tell you my name, but for the moment you may call me Assassin."

"A-A-A-!"

"My being a Servant no doubt surprises you," Assassin sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. "I swear upon my oath as a Doctor that I will not harm you, Chopper."

The young reindeer seemed to recover somewhat after that, but still couldn't help but gaze up at the man in a mixture of fear and awe. Now it made sense how he so effortlessly demolished the tribals without killing them.

He could have butchered them.

"Come along Chopper, we're almost back at my camp," Assassin said cheerfully, snapping him out of his musings as he noticed the man had walked over toward a downed tree that sat just above the stream nearby and started walking across. "Let me know if you need any help crossing this?"

"I'll be fine," Chopper replied as calmly as he could as he slowly walked across the downed tree, reaching the other side where Assassin was waiting for him. "Can I ask you a question?"

"I don't see the harm, what is it?"

"You said that you discussed with your colleagues about coming here to study the potential medicinal knowledge that could be found here, right?"

"Yes, I did."

"Are all of these colleagues Servants too?"

Assassin couldn't help but chuckle in response to Chopper's question as the pair continued further onward, leaving the stream behind.

"Some of them are, yes," Assassin replied easily with Chopper's eyes widening in shock. "But, the number of living beings from this world outnumber we Servants in our little group."

"Really?"

"Tell me Chopper, have you ever heard of the Servant State of Eden before?"

"I've heard them brought up a bunch of times by Natsu, Mordred, Seilah, Robin and some of the other Servants we've met."

"Good, that saves me an explanation then," Assassin grinned in response. "Basically, I am one of the Servants working there alongside many of this world's Doctors as we all try to teach them all we know and assist in new ground-breaking discoveries neither of us are yet aware of!"

"Wow!"

"Pretty cool, isn't it," Assassin laughed in response to Chopper's reaction. "Ah, we're here!"

Directing his attention to where Assassin was looking, he was surprised to see a metallic building situated only a metre off of the sandy beach. It was obvious, even just from the exterior, that this facility housed advanced technology inside.

"Welcome to my humble abode Chopper," Assassin said as he walked up and placed a hand onto the door. "State of the art tech straight from Eden!"

The door flashed then simply vanished, revealing a fully furnished home inside. Assassin motioned him in, the excitable reindeer immediately checking the place out as the Servant emptied his pockets of some things he'd collected in the forest, placing them in small containers.

"I know that you are excited and want to look around, but how about we get those wounds treated first?"

Chopper's demeanour immediately switched to that of a professional Doctor, something that brought a small smile to the Servant's face as they walked down a flight of stairs into what appeared to be some sort of basement area.

"Stick close to me for now Chopper, I have several labs in here I'd rather not see disturbed just yet."

Chopper swiftly nodded and followed the man over to the furthest door which turned out to be nothing more than a traditional Doctor's office. Without even needing to be told, he walked over and hopped onto the bed in the far corner as Assassin swiftly grabbed all the things he would need.

"Right then Chopper, let's have a look at what we're dealing with here," Assassin said as he wheeled over a small cart stocked full of medical items. "Hope you feel happy, you're my very first patient here!"

"Really?"

"If you couldn't tell, the natives aren't exactly banging down the door for medical treatment," Assassin responded dryly with Chopper stifling a giggle. "Anyway, poor jokes aside, I'm going to have to ask you some questions as I work since you obviously aren't Human."

"Of course."

"Excellent. Now, what exactly are you?"

"I'm a reindeer that ate a Devil Fruit."

"A reindeer? As in an ordinary one that ate a Devil Fruit or a Human that ate a reindeer fruit?"

"Ah, right, sorry," Chopper replied sheepishly as Assassin expertly sliced through the bandages. "I'm an ordinary reindeer who at the Human Human Fruit."

"Interesting," Assassin muttered as he exposed the large gash on Chopper's stomach region. "But why do you look like this?"

"I have several forms I can shift into," Chopper responded immediately as Assassin got some tweezers and began gently undoing the hastily applied stitches Chopper had done on himself. "Some of them would make me larger than you are."

"I see," Assassin hummed as he gently removed the first stitch. "How did you apply these stitches by the way?"

"My needle was sort of bent so I tried to make it as straight as I could, the thread was a bit wet …"

"Understandable, just checking since this would've undoubtedly become infected no matter what you did. Wet stitches and damage around the areas you've applied the stitches from where the damaged needle entered and exited the skin …"

"There wasn't much else I could do, Doctor …"

"I'm not judging you, Chopper; I like to be rather audible as I work. Apologies if I am making you uncomfortable-?"

"No, it's ok Doctor, really! I just want you to know that I did the best I could with what I had!"

"Trust me, I can see that by looking at what you've done," Assassin replied as he removed the last stitch. "There, all of the stitches are out."

"Really? I barely felt you doing anything!?"

"Why thank you," Assassin grinned before looking back to the wound in question. "You'll undoubtedly feel this though because I'm not willing to use any kind of drug on you until I know your anatomy a bit better."

"You want to open it up, don't you," Chopper asked with Assassin nodding seriously. "Can I have something to bite on?"

"Here," Assassin said as he passed him a rolled-up cloth which was promptly placed into his mouth. "I'll be as quick as I can, alright?"

Stiffly nodding, Chopper let out a pained whine as Assassin gently opened up the wound. Ordinarily, he would have done everything he could to avoid this, but due to the circumstances surrounding Chopper's arrival and the possibility of dirt and other debris inside the wound, he had little choice.

"You did an excellent job of cleaning the exterior of the wound and some of the interior Chopper, but there appears to be some dirt in here still, along with small twigs and a few bloodied leaves."

Closing the wound for the moment, he took the cloth from Chopper's mouth, noticing that the teary-eyed reindeer still was completely focused on what he had to say, he couldn't help but begin to respect the little guy.

"This is going to be a rather unusual offer Chopper and, I would never offer this if I knew your anatomy better so I could apply my own form of medicine I have on hand, but I think you will want to be unconscious for this next part."

"If what you said is true, then yeah, I definitely do wanna be unconscious for it," Chopper nodded slowly. "I couldn't go too far in for … obvious … reasons."

"I understand. Since you agree with me, are you amiable to me knocking you out in a swift and painless manner?"

"Only if you tell me your true name?"

Assassin couldn't help but roar with laughter, noting that Chopper was giggling lightly as well, making sure he didn't disturb the open wound too much.

"Asking a Servant their name is considered a rather big deal you know? As serious as the situation is, I'm afraid that you'll need to put a little more on the table?"

"Like what?"

"Well, I could certainly use an assistant to help me here for a bit," Assassin replied slyly as he dispelled his bloody gloves, along with his suit as he now appeared before Chopper in Doctors scrubs. "What do you say, Chopper? I get to knock you out and take you on as a temporary assistant and you learn my name? How does that sound?"

"Y-you want me to be your assistant here?"

"You said it yourself that you were also a Doctor? Don't you want to learn more?"

"I do … but there's more to me than just being a Doctor," Chopper replied softly in response. "Like I said, I've been separated from my friends …"

"The next Eden supply ship won't be here for another month at least so you'll have time to fully decide," Assassin offered with Chopper's ears flicking in the Servant's direction. "Even just a month would be helpful?"

"Ok then Assassin," Chopper nodded with the Servant grinning in his direction. "You've got a deal!"

"Excellent," the Assassin Class Servant grinned, his face becoming obscured by a mask as he eyed Chopper's wound. "You've made a good choice my friend, truly!"

A Legend Among The Medical Sphere

The Father Of Medicine

Hippocrates II (Assassin)

Bounty – 293,000,000 Berries

"I look forward to working with you, Doctor," Chopper grinned before being jabbed in the neck by a gloved finger, instantly passing out as the Servant's entire demeanour shifted.

"Before we celebrate any kind of working relationship, let us ensure you do not perish from disease first, my latest potential student," Hippocrates replied grimly as he opened up Chopper's wound even further to reveal entire sections that had already become seriously infected. "But I swear to you I shall do everything in my power to not fail!"

Hope you all enjoy my rather interesting version of Hippocrates; I find it quite amusing. Anyway, hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you in the next one!
