Chapter 27: Taurus Charge! Reaching Pallas' Chamber!

In front of the doors to Pallas' chamber...

"This Cosmo..." Seiya frowned.

"Pallas waits behind this door." Saori agreed.

Channeling his Cosmo into his fist, Harbinger broke the door down.

"Pallas." Saori started, the group meeting Pallas face-to-face.

"Athena-onee-sama, Juno-nee, Ceres-nee, Vesta-nee." Pallas greeted.

"Wait, Harbinger!" Seiya warned, the Taurus Gold Saint charging straight towards Pallas.

"I've been looking forward to this, Pallas." Harbinger declared. "If I defeat you, this all ends."

Titan jumped in, blocking off Harbinger's attack. "How dare you attack the Goddess of Love, Pallas-sama? Sinful human. Pay for your sin with your life." he blasted Harbinger into a wall. "Sagittarius Seiya." he turned to his rival. "You've done well to make it this far. I knew you would."

"Don't ignore me." Harbinger burst out of the rubble he was buried in. "You will fight me."

"Get lost." Titan scoffed. "I am not interested in the likes of you."

"But I am interested in you." Harbinger corrected. "I can feel a huge Cosmo within you. You're the toughest of the Pallasites. My hobby is breaking the bones and the hearts of the strong. I was just a thug who grew up in a dump. For those who live there, it doesn't matter which God rules the Earth. The only thing we trust are our fists."

"Growing up in a dump has rotted your mind." Titan sighed.

"You're no different." Harbinger retorted. "You attack the weak indiscriminately, eliminating all that disobey you. You're different from any villain. And you call yourself the Goddess of Love?"

"You would dare mock Pallas-sama?" Titan sneered and turned to the Taurus Gold Saint.

"I'll make you want to fight me more." Harbinger brought out Athena's Kamui Cloth. "If you want it, defeat me." he issued the challenge, breaking a nearby pillar with his fist and placing the Kamui Cloth in the gaping hole. "I'm done talking." he charged straight towards Titan, the Class-1 Pallasite easily dodging his punches.

"This is true power." Titan landed a powered-up punch straight through Harbinger's stomach.

"It'll take more than that to stop me." Harbinger grinned.

"I'm done wasting my time with you." Titan brought out his Tenjinsōseiken. "I'll destroy you with true power itself, with my Tenjinsōseiken. When God created this world, this Tenjinsōseiken was used. Its blade can slice anything in this world."

"I'll snap your almighty blade in half." Harbinger promised.

"This sword cannot be destroyed." Titan was certain. "Especially not by a thug like you."

"Behold the power of the raging bull." Harbinger refused to back down. "Great Horn!"

"No different from a bull in a bullfight." Titan scoffed, slicing the attack in half and jumping into the air, the Tenjinsōseiken raised. "Before this blade, a mere bull's Cosmo is nothing. I'm done with you. Begone." with a single slash, he cut through the Taurus Gold Cloth. "A mere thug could never challenge me. You are my sole opponent, Sagittarius Seiya."

"The battle isn't over." Seiya corrected. "You've broken his bones and sliced through his Gold Cloth. You haven't broken Harbinger's heart."

"Greatest Horn!" Harbinger got back to his feet and let loose an even more powerful attack.

"Impossible." Titan was stunned, forced to block off the attack. "Not only is he still moving after taking a strike from the Tenjinsōseiken, but he can still use an attack this strong?"

"If you want to crush me, you have to do better than that." Harbinger retorted.

"You are no mere thug." Titan admitted. "Someone who simply enjoys fighting cannot fight like that. You have nothing to protect. You lack a warrior's pride. Why do you keep fighting?"

"That's what I want to know." Harbinger took a step forward. "Why do you take from others? It's true that you are strong. But why do you use your power to oppress the weak? Disobeying the Gods is a sin? Is it a sin to fight for those you want to protect? We may be mere insects to you, but even insects are alive. Burn and boil, my Cosmo!" he powered up even more. "Your blade can cut through anything? I'll use my Cosmo to snap it in two. Great Horn!"

The massive energy wave finally snapped the Tenjinsōseiken, the aftershock throwing Harbinger backwards, but he held his ground, forcing himself to stop right in front of Athena's Kamui Cloth.

"Valiant Taurus." Titan praised. "It appears I misjudged you. I recant all that I said about you. It is rage that moves you and that magma-like rage became a golden will that has destroyed my Tenjinsōseiken."

"I'm not done yet." Harbinger insisted. "It'll take more than this to quell my anger. The people you oppressed and killed suffered far more than this."

"That's enough." Saori stopped the Taurus Gold Saint. "I thought that if I gave you my Cloth, you would be willing to take care of yourself in order to protect it. Thanks to you Saints, I made it this far. Thank you, Harbinger, for opening the way, for protecting the Athena Cloth. Leave the rest to me. The people's thirst for vengeance, your wish, I will fight for them both and I will protect your future."

"I won't start doubting you now." Harbinger relented, handing Saori her Kamui Cloth and backed down from the battlefield.

"Pallas, I've come to meet you." Saori took the frontline, leaving Juno to heal Harbinger's broken bones with her healing light magic. "To end this."

"Stand back, Titan." Pallas instructed, seeing Saori summon her Kamui Cloth. "This battle is between Athena-onee-sama and me. You must not interfere." she summoned her Chronotector.
