...
Izuku let out a haunting laugh, "You think you are the true Disciples of Goomoonyrong? You who can't even land a single strike on me? Get a clue. You barely can be known as a member of Murim."
"Then maybe I can give you the challenge you seek," came a deep baritone from right behind him.
Only in the last second did Izuku sense the killing intent and ki. Immediately he threw himself to the side using both his ki and One For All. Above him right where his head had been there was an explosion of ki. If he had not dodged it, he would have been dead.
He rolled forward turned around ready to block the next attack before popping up to his feet. The attack didn't come so his eyes trailed up to his opponent's face. The man was tall at least a head taller than Chun-Woo. He had thick eye-brows and a short scruffy beard. Dirty blond hair is cut short and spiked on top with the sides shaved down. He wore practicable work clothes consisting of boots, cargo pants, a tank top, and gloves. Dimitri of the Black Forest Defense Group his mind supplied. He preferred hand to hand combat in close combat. From what he knew however the man never travelled alone. He had a partner.
From behind a group of the S.U.C. he caught sight of a blond haired man. Ah there he was. Takeshi of the Black Forest Defense Group partner of Dimitri. Surprisingly he was hanging back and not immediately jumping into the fight. Wasn't Takeshi supposed to be the hot headed one?
Movement caught his attention and he stepped back avoiding at punch set for his jaw. It was following through and Izuku retreated. His pupils dilated with adrenaline and his fight or flight instincts kicking in. Izuku bounced up onto the balls of his feet loosening his muscles.
Time seemed to slow around them as Izuku took a breath in drawing ki into his cracked center. The ki entered his center and Izuku focused on part of the amount that was there. It was larger than what he would need for Lightning Claw but less than Fanged Destruction. He needed a mid ranged attack.
To date Izuku had not successfully pulled off this technique. A technique with the basic theory of "Static Electricity" and it works by changing the voltage of the users body and uses the flow of Ki as a current to shock the enemy. The user generates a negative charge on the left hand while inhaling and create a positive charge on the right hand while exhaling. When used properly it was a killing technique.
Now it was meant to be used in short range against one person. Izuku had been working on changing it to only hit one but instead of dispelling out when done it explodes out. This was only good for a handful of feet around them.
Izuku used Jin to bring himself forward and grabbed Dimitri by the front of his shirt. Surprise flickered across the man's eyes. His left hand went negatively charged lightning ki. There was a loud click as the man's jaw shut. Then his right hand went positively charged.
Dimitri's eyes went wide as large amounts of ki flooded his system. Izuku could tell that the man wanted to attack him but his body wouldn't respond appropriately. The amount of ki he had purified was dropping by every passing second. This was the issue that kept Izuku from successfully performing the next step. He had wanted to improve Electric Yo-Yo. Getting in close was too dangerous for anyone who wasn't Yoochun or Chun-Woo. He needed it to be at least a mid-range attack.
Again he grabbed at his ki reserves this was more than the previous amount. Almost all of his remaining reserves. With extra strength and resolve he shoved through ki through filtering it. The purified ki though he held back away from what was flowing through his arms. It was difficult to keep control over the purified ki. It was like a rabid wolf desperately trying to fight his control. He kept purifying the amount he grabbed. It took longer because of the sheer amount that it was.
A higher pitched male voice yelled, "Let him go, you little shit!"
Finally it was done. And not a second too soon as he felt the ki presence of a powerful member of Murim. That was Takeshi and he knew the man preferred the use of swords. Around them members of the S.U.C. were emboldened and closed in hoping to get revenge for their fallen. Izuku let them close it. The closer they got the better.
Then he released all the pent up ki as he released Dimitri. Lightning exploded out from his body striking dozens of men. It sent them down to the ground. Included with the bodies of the S.U.C. were Dimitri and Takeshi. Lighting coursed over them painfully. Their ki fueled his own ki ensuring they would not be able to get up until either they were dead or someone was able dispel it. He knew it was possible. Members of the Reunion could pull it off but as far as he knew none were here.
Izuku looked around eyeing each of the men on the floor. It was the first time he actually had been able to pull this off. What he didn't know was how effective it would be against those who were further from him. There were only about a dozen of them that were left. He could see them shaking in fear and looking to escape. A bloodlust still weighed heavily within his breast. He wanted to make them pay for what happened to his mother. These weren't the ones who killed her though. They wouldn't have underestimated him if they were. Still he wanted to make them pay. Kill them.
Common sense however kept him from attacking them. Green eyes stared at them coldly asking if they wanted to continue. That made them turn and run away. Exhaustion filled him. That was more ki than he had used since that disastrous night. How much had that hurt him? Beyond the exhaustion he didn't feel any different but it wasn't a good indication.
He dropped two ki pellets into his palm and crushed them in his mouth. Other villains not part of Murim were running away from him. No one wanted to risk entering the fight. Good. Now where was Aizawa?
Moving through across the courtyard he found Aizawa facing off with a crusty villain. He could see a wound on Aizawa's right elbow. A shudder ran through him as he realized it was a mixture of muscle and even bone. How?
The man seemed to be saying something to Aizawa. From Izuku's position he couldn't hear what was being said. However the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end. The crusty man said something to the creature and it began to move.
Izuku couldn't move as it went towards Aizawa whose eyes flashed red. He should be fine. Right? Turning off the thing's quirk should help him. Apparently not as it began to attack Aizawa with a focus and ferocity that made a wild animal seem tame.
